Education is an important factor which cannot be segregated from the life of all human beings, both individually and collectively. Strategies employed by the teacher of PAI (Islamic education) thus have an important role in establishing students’ personality, especially with regard to their religious character. The teaching of PAI therefore must be performed gradually and continuously. Students' ability in reading Qur'an must be improved significantly. A method of habituation constitutes one that can be used to improve students' ability in reading Qur’an. The problems in this research are as follows: 1. How did a PAI teacher overcome problems and difficulties in reading Qur'an through the use of a habituation method at SMK Al Kholily Mlokorejo Puger Jember?; 2. What were inhibiting factors and what were the solutions? This study employed a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data were colleted by ways of observation and interviews. The respondents were students at SMK Al Kholily Mlokorejo Puger Jember. The results revealed that the difficulties in reading Qur’an can be improved through the use of a habituation method.

In the philosophy of Islamic education, students act as one of the determinants of concepts or theories in Islamic education. This is caused by the role of students who jump into the community in order to practice the knowledge that has been obtained from pesantren, or what is often referred to as devotion. So that students also know a lot of things that are lacking in the midst of social life, and students are required to correct the shortcomings of the community. So from this either realize or not realize the students make a very large contribution to the philosophy of Islamic education, where the philosophy of Islamic education is a forerunner or theoretical concept of various Islamic education

This article discusses the effectiveness of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah courses in constructing the morality of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan. This article was written using a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques took the form of observation, documentation and interviews. Through the use of these methods, this article found that Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah courses were effective in constructing good morality of the students, both in terms of their ‘noble characters’ (akhlakul karimah) towards Allah, themselves, their family, other people and environment. More specifically, the construction of noble characters towards Allah includes absolute monotheism, praying only to Allah, abstain from believing in superstition, abstain from maintaining amulets, abstain from visiting shamans, being grateful for Allah's blessings, being patient with worldly tests from Allah, worshiping Allah well and properly. The construction of noble characters towards students themselves includes being honest, being a hard worker, trustworthy, disciplined, simple, polite, confident and willing to introspect. The construction of noble characters towards the family includes being devoted to their parents, establishing friendship with the family members maintaining good communication with the family, caring for family members, easing their parents’ burden. The construction of noble characters towards others includes caring for ‘the weak and the helpless’ (mustadzafin), caring to help others, establishing mutual cooperation, and tolerance. At the same time, the construction of noble characters towards the environment includes keeping it clean, using water wisely, reducing plastic waste, rejecting mining which potentially damages the environment, preserving the environment by planting trees and taking care of animals

In achieving the goals of national education, strengthening character education is a very important an effort to do. Character education must be instilled in humans so that it can become the main foundation for shaping the character of the nation. Given the importance of character education, teachers must work hard in introducing and developing character education for students. One form an effort to improve the character of students in schools is through the habituation of noble moral habits. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of character education in the plan to strengthen character education at TPA Ittihadil Ummah Kr Anyar through habituation of noble moral habits. The method in this research using descriptive qualitative and data collection through the stages of observation, interviews, library research. Data analysis was carried out by data analysis and concluding. The result of this studi indicate that: The character education improvement program at TPA Ittihadil Ummah Kr Anyar is carried out by combining the learning process with the habits of high moral values in everyday life. The result of this studi indicate tha the noble moral habits practiced in the school environment are an effective model for enhancing the character of students

Education which constitutes a conscious effort and is mandated by a constitution not only aims at developing intellectual but also spiritual aspects of individual students. Educational processes thus need to be built upon the work ethic so as to maximize teacher’s performance and to foster students’ learning outcomes. With this mind, the current study was conducted to examine whether the work ethic affected teacher’s performance and students’ achievement. This study employed a quantitative methodology and was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember. The data were collected using a questionnaire, and were analyzed through a path analysis using Lisrel. The results revealed that the work ethic affected performance with a T value of 2.26 ≥ 1.196, the performance affected students’ achievement with a T value of 2.16 ≥ 1.196, but the work ethic did not affect students’ achievement as indicated by the T value. smaller than 1.96 of 0.56.

Studying Tajwid (science of reciting the Koran) is the fardlu kifāyah, but practicing it in reciting the Koran is fardlu ‘ain, so Tajwid has been taught to Muslim children since they learned to recite the Koran. However, it has been considered to be very demanding and problematic. The conventional methods used tend to be uninteresting and boring. For that reason, a learning media that makes teachers and students is in an interactive, effective and joyful learning process is needed. One of them is Tajwid Putar, a media created by Jeni Agustina Suyanto, a teacher of MAN 1 Lubuklinggau, South Sumatra. According to her, TPQ Ar-Risalah is the only educational institution in East Java that used Tajwid Putar. The objectives of this study were to describe the Tajwid learning process by implementing Tajwid Putar, the students’ interest in learning in Tajwid using Tajwid Putar, and the learning achievement in Tajwid using Tajwid Putar. This study used a qualitative approach. The data was collected by interview, observation and documents, which were then analyzed by using an interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The result suggested that the learning process of Tajwid which employed the Tajwid Putar has been effectively made students to be more active, interactive and festive, so that they quickly understood Tajwid and was able to recite the Koran well. Students’ enthusiasm was increased in learning Tajwid compared to the use of conventional methods. The students' learning achievement was also shown to be increased, which could be measured by the score of the test contained within the student report book

Kompetensi berupa kemampuan menejerial yang dimiliki pemimpin digunakan sebagai alat dan potensi sumber daya untuk menuju efisien dan efektif dalam penerapan manajemen waktu, maka kemampuan tersebut diharapkan dapat menghasilkan lulusan tepat waktu pada mahasiswa PTKIS Kota Batam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini (1) untuk mengetahui kemampuan Manajerial Pendidikan Islam ketua prodi (2) Untuk mengetahui penerapan manajemen waktu oleh ketua prodi (3) Untuk mengetahui perkembangan mahasiswa lulusan tepat waktu (4) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan Manajerial Pendidikan Islam ketua prodi terhadap lulusan tepat waktu di PTKIS Kota Batam (5) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen waktu terhadap lulusan tepat waktu (6) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan Manajerial Pendidikan Islam dan manajemen waktu secara bersama-sama terhadap lulusan tepat waktu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan Manajerial Pendidikan Islam ketua prodi tergolong tinggi dengan memperoleh score angket 81.1% (2)Penerapanmanajemen waktu oleh ketua prodi dikategorikan tinggi karena presentasi tersebut mencapai 83% (3) Perkembangan mahasiswa lulusan tepat waktu di PTKISKota Batam adalahmencapai 81% dari hasil data ideal(4) kemampuan Manajerial Pendidikan Islam berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap lulusan tepat waktu, hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai Thitung4.963 Ttabel 3.182. (5) Manajemen waktu tidak berpengaruh secara parsial kepada lulusan tepat waktu, hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai Thitungadalah 2.654 dari Ttabel 3,812  (6) secara bersama-sama kemampuan Manajerial Pendidikan Islam dan manajemen waktu berpengaruh terhadap lulusan tepat waktu, hal ini ditunjukkan oleh probability value uji F sebesar 0,0010,05. dan Fhitung148.643 Ftabel 6,94

Religious education plays an important role in carrying out development in particular in shaping and printing young people who are moral and quality. Religious education serves to make people who believe in obedience to the commands and prohibitions of their religion and apply to everyday life. But what happens in the world of education today does not say so, the classic problems that occur to date are still not resolved properly and continue to be a continuing problem. Such as the problem of using time allocation that is too narrow which is used in the learning process, namely the religious learning elementary school is only 3 hours face to face and junior high school, high school / vocational school is only 2 hours face to face and every hour is 45 minutes not 60 minutes, of course this is very poor considering the purpose religious education is so great for the development and development of the nation. Not to mention if in one school there are various religions. The development of religious education by applying school culture that applies the principles of development through learning activities, giving values and parameters for achieving this school can be an alternative solution regarding the existing problems.

The concept of motivation Maslow's ideas "" self-actualization is the person's motivation to transform perception of self into reality ". Motivation is the most basic factor in educational institutions to mobilize human resources potential to grow enthusiasm in working with organizational objectives. The second factor is the leader as a leader able to mobilize human resources. Sensitivity of a leader is expected to understand the nature and human needs. Hierarchy of human needs is expected to be another consideration in motivating staff, teachers (cleric) or employees. This study was conducted to find out how the feasibility of teaching book. The criteria for teaching book in Indonesia use the provisions of the National Education Standards Agency. This study is considered important which given the feasibility of teaching book should refer to the criteria of BNSP. The research was conducted with the qualitative approach and used literature research in data mining. The research method is conducted in three phases, they are:1) analyzing students books SKI class XIII MTS, 2) develop instrument of teaching book criteria According to BNSP, 3) relevant data collection, grouping data, provide assessment and explanation in narative. The feasibility rate of the teaching book in value with the predicate is less decent, decent enough, decent, and very decent. This study obtained the result that the conformity of Islamic cultural history book. According to BNSP has a very decent criteria to be used as teaching materials with the value of 93,02
