Maguti is a tradition that still exists in the Ngawi community, East Java. This study aims to describe the meaning of equipment symbols and the process of implementation as well as the values of character education contained in the Maguti tradition. The method used in this research is qualitative method. This research was conducted in twenty places in Ngawi Regency, namely Jagir Village, Tulakan, Bayem Taman, Bayem Sidoarjo, Jagir Krajan, Kalitengah, Tempon, Kedungjambe, Plembeku, Gedangan, Mojoagung, Miripencil, Mirirejo, Tretes, Duwet, Duwet Plasong, Duwet Dawungan, Mojorejo, Jomblang, Sampung, Karangdempel. Equipment and process in the implementation of the Maguti tradition as the main study in this study. This research was conducted in Ngawi, East Java, Indonesia. The results of the study are that there are symbols in the form of equipment and the process of implementing the tradition of Maguti. Equipment in the tradition of Maguti are bucu, jenang abang putih, jenang sepuh, banyu suci, kembang setaman, sego udhuk, sego golong, gedhang setangkep, asahan, kopat lepet . Budi Pekerti’s educational values contained in the Maguti tradition are religious values, values of independence, values of caring, values of responsibility, values of mutual respect, values of honesty, and creative values.

This research studied the understanding of legislative members for their function in spreading The religious values of Pancasila at Regional House of Representatives Ponorogo, East Java. By conducting qualitative method, the writer analyzes the implementation of the function and the role of the legislative member as a medium of propaganda, both of chairman of parliament and the members. The data were collected in-depth interview, documentation, and observation. In determining of the data, the writer uses the inspection techniques; credibility, transferability, and dependability for confirming its validity. Then, the data have been analyzed in phases and interconnected between data reduction, data presentation, conclusion, and verification. The study concluded that the legislators understand their function is parallel to their religious values in amar ma’ruf nahi munkar for realizing the values of Pancasila, the aims of democracy, in order to achieve prosperous society, mutual cooperation, mutual respect and managing the diversity of religion, race, and ethnicity in the frame of Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

This study aims to (1) describe the structure of fable and legend of the Nasal region, (2) to describe the educational values of fable characters and the legend of Nasal area and its relation with the material of class smp vii. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, the method is used to describe and analyze the structure of people's crita and the educational values of the character of Nasal society. Source of data in this research is informant. That is, citizens who provide information about all related to research. Data collection techniques in this study there are 3 namely: recording techniques, interview techniques and content analysis techniques The theory is used to analyze the structure of stories using structural theory. The results showed that the folklore of Nasal Kaur community consists of two types, namely legend and Fable. The value of character education found in the legend, that is independent. The value of character education found in fable stories, that is forgiving, ingenious, patient, friendly, hard work, willing to accept defeat. Based on 4 folk stories found, there is a story that can be used as a literary learning material in junior high school because it contains the moral value of education.Keywords: values of character education, folklore, structure

 This study aims to see the value of any character education found in children's literature entitled “The Youngest Frog”, “Si Molek”, “Masarasenani and Sun”, and “Tiny Boy” by Murti Bunanta. Children's literature is a literary work written by adults and intended for children. This study used descriptive qualitative intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the subject of research. This study revealed that the use of dominant character education values can be seen in the value of love peace, hard work, communicative, creative, and curiosity with the amount of data 4 or 13 percentage. Values of character education are manifested in the democratic and religious values.

Mamaca belongs to the tradition of Madurese community in which it is conducted by singing the poetry text. This explanation ensures that mamaca uses a beautiful language. The stories contained in mamaca text are very diverse, some are taken from babad story, the stories of the prophets, the stories of historical figures, and fictional stories or figures containing petotor or advices. Based on the diverse contents written on the texts, it makes mamaca plays an important role in the existence and influence on oral mamaca tradition in Madurese community. Its existence in the community is done by strengthening the literacy through mamaca. Literacy strengthening through mamaca was expected to become a medium in strengthening the character of Madurese community, especially by delivering the religious values. Qualitative method was applied in this reserach to understand a social phenomenon holistically (as a whole). This qualitative method allowed us to understand and view people as they expressed their views of themselves.

This paper is to analyse the content of the newspapers published in Central Java, such as Suara Merdeka, Jateng Pos and Warta Jateng, in their role of giving information and education about religious values in building children’s  character.  This is driven by the fact that a lot of deviances were made by students, such as fight among students and criminal gangs in school. This is one of the indicators that character education is not enough to be taught only at school through curriculum. Therefore, newspapers play a role in that purpose. The research shows the newspapers play a role as information provider, educator, persuasive communicator, cultural transmitter, correlator, and social testator. In the meantime, character education is categorised into: practicing religious teachings, having good ethic and morality, understanding religious norms, doing mutual respect, having tolerance towards others, cooperating in social and national life.

<p><em>This study aims to describe the values of Islamic religious character education in the cleaning process of Dhukutan village in Nglurah village, Tawangmangu sub-district. Dhukutan is a traditional ceremony of Nglurah villagers to commemorate the death of their ancestors named Kyai Menggung. This traditional ceremony is held once every seven lapan (1 lapan=35 days based on Javanese calendar). The method used to find the value of religious character education is a descriptive qualitative method. The sources of the data are the offerings related to the implementation of the Dhukutan village cleaning ceremony. The results of the study show that the religious values reflected in the Dhukutan traditional ceremony are sincere, honest, obedient, disciplined, diligent, praying, grateful, and trustworthy. Within the process of Dhukutan village cleaning ceremony, the value of religious character education is beneficial for students to be both intellectually and emotionally intelligent students. This study suggests educators, especially within Tawangmangu area, to employ the Dhukutan village cleaning ceremony as a learning tool of religious character education values for elementary students.</em></p><p><em></em><br /><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter agama dalam proses pembersihan desa Dhukutan di desa Nglurah, Kecamatan Tawangmangu. Dhukutan adalah upacara tradisional penduduk desa Nglurah untuk memperingati hari kematian leluhur mereka yang bernama Kyai Menggung. Upacara tradisional ini diadakan sekali setiap 7 lapan (1 lapan = 35 hari berdasarkan kalender Jawa) Metode yang digunakan untuk menemukan nilai pendidikan karakter agama adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah sesembahan yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan upacara pembersihan desa Dhukutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai agama yang tercermin dalam upacara tradisional Dhukutan adalah tulus, jujur, patuh, disiplin, rajin berdoa, bersyukur, dan dapat dipercaya. Dalam proses upacara pembersihan desa Dhukutan, ditemukan nilai pendidikan karakter agama yang sangat berguna bagi siswa untuk membentuk kecerdasan intelektual dan emosional siswa. Studi ini menyarankan para pendidik, khususnya di daerah Tawangmangu, untuk menggunakan upacara pembersihan desa Dhukutan sebagai alat pembelajaran pendidikan karakter agama bagi siswa.</em></p>

Rimpu is the typical dress of womenofBimanese formed from a traditional sarong woven. The use of Rimpu done by one of the holes or the end of the sheath wrapped around the head so that only the visible face for women who are married (RimpuColo) and just looking eyes for the girl (RimpuMpida). Rimpu is local wisdom and becomes part of the wealthofBimanese Islamic culture that needs to be preserved. The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of RimpuTembetraditional custom of Bimanese toward the educational and religious values at Sambori village. The method of this study is a qualitative method and the data was collected by using observation, interviews, documentation, and recording. The result the shows that Educational values that can be obtained from Rimpu are when women wear Rimpu for their activity must be when they traveling or meeting with male and others. Rimpu can protect women from the lust of the opposite sex. Religious values of RimpuTembe is the moral values, faith and sari'ah, because of their body Islamic beliefs.

This study purposes to describe the religious values in Harun Yahya’s fables. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The data source of this research was fable by Harun Yahya such as; Omar and the Penguin, Jamal and the Parrot, and Naeem and the Pretty Peacock. The data in this study could be a phrase, be it a noun phrase or verb, sentences and discourse fragment found in the fable. Data collection and analysis techniques used was content analysis techniques. The results showed that the religious value of character education appeared in the fables gave pieces of advice to the readers about getting closer to God Allah SWT.

ABSTRACT Character education is one of the focus of educational goals in Indonesia. The importance of character education because of the declining ethics, morale of learners and the increasing popularity of student delinquency, such as brawl and drug addicts. Implementation of character education is very important to evaluate how the process and results. The research was conducted at SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. The purpose of this study describes the implementation of lisa program, libra, patujar applied in SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. Knowing the value of characters generated in the program lisa, libra, patujar applied in SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. The research method used is qualitative method with data collection technique, observation, interview and documentation. Suggestion of research result that is importance of socialization about character education to learners, teachers and society to support the embodiment of school program libra libra patujar. Schools should involve parents and community as partners in the coaching and habituation of student characters. Mengetahui nilai karakter yang dihasilkan dalam program lisa, libra, patujar yang diterapkan di SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Saran hasil penelitian yaitu pentingnya sosialisasi mengenai pendidikan karakter kepada peserta didik, guru dan masyarakat untuk menunjang keterwujudan program sekolah lisa libra patujar.   Abstract; The ecumenical life movement is a movement that seeks to unite churches which are essentially one but separated by different denominational organizations. The ecumenical movement is a movement that must continue to be built but not to eliminate denominations because denominational wealth is God's work that is unique to His church. So the question that arises is what is the ecumenical spirit between the two denominations? The author discusses this topic with the aim of building an ecumenical spirit or church unity among church denominations. how to build an ecumenical spirit, which often results in the lack of an ecumenical spirit. The authors target in this study are all church members, be it the Toraja Church, GPdI, and also for all existing church denominations. In this study the authors have conducted research, and the method used in this study is a qualitative method, namely interviews and observations. In the interview, the author obtained or obtained information that sometimes the two congregations cornered each other in their territory so that sometimes there were disputes between members of the congregation of these two denominations, for this the conclusion of this study about ecumenicalism is that in building an ecumenical spirit, mutual respect between denominations is very important. It is important, besides building good relationships with other church members and then running away from cooperation in serving God and His people. These things can be done in building an ecumenical spirit between denominations Abstrak; Gerakan hidup ekumenis adalah gerakan yang berusaha menyatukan gereja-gereja yang pada dasarnya satu tetapi dipisahkan oleh organisasi denominasi yang berbeda. Gerakan ekumenis adalah gerakan yang harus terus dibangun tetapi tidak menghilangkan denominasi karena kekayaan denominasi adalah karya Tuhan yang unik bagi gereja-Nya. Jadi pertanyaan yang muncul adalah apa semangat ekumenis di antara kedua denominasi itu? Penulis membahas topik ini dengan tujuan untuk membangun semangat ekumenis atau kesatuan gereja di antara denominasi gereja. bagaimana membangun semangat oikumenis, yang seringkali mengakibatkan kurangnya semangat oikumenis. Sasaran penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota gereja, baik itu Gereja Toraja, GPdI, dan juga untuk semua denominasi gereja yang ada. Dalam penelitian ini penulis telah melakukan penelitian, dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yaitu wawancara dan observasi. Dalam wawancara tersebut penulis memperoleh atau memperoleh informasi bahwa terkadang kedua tarekat tersebut saling memojokkan di wilayahnya sehingga terkadang terjadi perselisihan antar anggota jemaah kedua denominasi ini, untuk itu kesimpulan dari penelitian ini tentang ekumenikalisme adalah bahwa dalam membangun semangat ekumenis, saling menghormati antar denominasi sangat penting. Hal ini penting, selain membangun hubungan baik dengan anggota gereja lain kerjasama dalam melayani Tuhan dan umat-Nya. Hal-hal ini dapat dilakukan dalam membangun semangat oikumene antar denominasi
