The relevance of this article is stipulated by the fact that development of learning motivation is the most important psycho-pedagogical task, solution of which contributes to improvement of learning quality and knowledge assimilation of students. This article reflects some results of the study of learning motivation of medical students, which was conducted in Kazan State Medical University with the participation of 142 people. Medical students from the first to the third year were asked, in the form of an essay, to continue the phrase: "I love the subject "Physical Education" because...". Based on the analysis of the results we draw conclusions and propose a list of recommendations for teachers, following which can help to increase the level of learning motivation of students. The article proves that, on the basis of the development of motivation to engage in physical activity, it is possible to develop motivation to learn in general. This article is intended for teachers of different academic disciplines.

By developing a syllabus of The International Master's Degree in multiMEDIA – technology, design, and management we have found that the problem-oriented approach for syllabus definition appears to be an efficient tool to ensure the expected by the industry requirements for multimedia art and engineering curriculum. The idea of multidisciplinary team training run by the Warsaw institutions, namely, the University of Technology, Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and Academy of Fine Arts is to ensure cross-field education at the technologically and artistically competitive level and to form up the teams ready to function at the commercial market. The software tools used by designing the syllabus (Word -> mRST -> LaTex -> PDF) made the transition from the project descriptions (in Word) to the final syllabus document (in PDF), semiautomatic. Based on the themes extracted from the projects by a Python application the electronic textbooks have been written for TiddlyWiki5 web platform.

Whether smartphone, smart home or smart city—digitalisation determines almost all areas of our lives today. The topic of sustainability is also omnipresent in 2019 and numerous challenges associated with it are currently being discussed. Digitalisation and sustainability can thus be regarded as the two megatrends of the 21st century. The question of whether digitalisation is an instrument for achieving sustainable development is increasingly at the centre of the debate. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) developed by the United Nations as part of the 2030 Agenda are of particular interest for assessing digitalisation as a potential means of achieving sustainable development. With the help of empirical work by students from the University of Kaiserslautern, this edited volume provides answers to the question of how different digital technologies can help to achieve these 17 goals. The article deals with the transformation of the role and place of universities in the current conditions of economic development and the demands of society on the example of a traditional medical university — the Samara State Medical University. The results of the university’s work in the innovation-technological area and their integration into the principal activities of the university (education, research) are discussed, as well as the implementation of the “third” mission of the university, i.e. development of the regional economy, the innovative ecosystem of the region, and human capital.

In Italy, in the academic field, there are many cases of collaboration between the University and various institutions protecting Cultural Heritage. It is made possible due to the large amount of archaeological heritage requiring restoration interventions and thanks to the need from students to put their skills into practice. This is the case of the partnership between the Archaeological Superintendence of Emilia Romagna and the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna (Italy) established in 2012. This collaboration has permitted to open an important restoration site in order to recover the Lapidary located in the courtyard of the historical Palazzo Ancarano. The restoration project was developed over a period of three years, plus an additional year to reorganize the exhibition path. The maintenance of an archaeological find was assigned to each student with the purpose of producing a thorough and complete documentation on the intervention made, necessary to leave a proof of the methods and materials used. A targeted work on every archaeological find present in the court, having an aim to arrange them around the perimeter of it in chronological order based on historical era. At the conclusion of the restoration and reorganization of the area, it is now necessary to add value in particular to the stele collection: pre-Roman, Roman and Medieval. This objective will be reached by opening the courtyard of the Palazzo Ancarano to the public, to bring again its original function, that is, a museum. To reach this purpose, we propose to use appropriate digital technologies associated with the archaeological items on display to improve the understanding of the collection by a wide variety of visitors, we intend to provide an instrument presenting information of various levels of detail and thoroughness enabling each visitor to deepen their knowledge according to their own interest.

The article highlights the level of interest and motives of students of Donetsk National Medical University in physical education and sports. A wide range of factors that hinder exercise and a healthy lifestyle have been identified. Students' health was analyzed. The obtained results prove the importance of increasing students' motivation to take physical education classes. The problem of the functioning of physical education in higher education is an integral part of the formation of the general and professional culture of the personality of the modern specialist, the system of humanistic education of students. The modern problem of building the process of physical education at the university is the formation of students' interest in the subject of "Physical Education". In physical education, the problem of motivation for exercise is still insufficiently studied, in practice there are no specific recommendations and developments. The applied (ie practical) importance of physical training of student youth for successful study and work is an integral component and essential property of physical education of each individual as a pedagogical process. The main goal of reforming the system of physical education should be to improve human health, taking into account its needs, motives, interests. Therefore, in order to implement state measures, it is necessary to find out the factors that will help increase the motivation of students to exercise and play sports. The study of students' motivation determines their attitude to the formation of their personal health in medical universities, which is largely associated with self-improvement of the individual and his recovery by increasing the level of physical activity by means of physical culture. Due to the low motivation of physical education among modern students there is a need to find ways to increase this motivation and highlight the experience of its implementation in the educational process of the medical university, which determines the relevance of our study. Based on the above, we conducted a pedagogical study. With the help of pedagogical methods of questioning and testing, the positive motivation of students to exercise was traced. The purpose of the questionnaire was to explain students' views on personal health, attitudes towards the subject of "Physical Education" and interest in innovative forms and content of physical education classes. The questionnaire also asked questions to identify students' motivations for physical education, their impact on maintaining and promoting personal health. The questionnaire contained semi-closed questions, which allowed respondents to choose from the presented answers and express their own point of view on a particular question. Based on a survey of medical students in the search phase (formative) experiment, we found that the level of positive motivation of first and second year students of medical and dental faculties of Donetsk National Medical University by means of improving personal health by means of physical education averaged 10, 11% . Yes, 60% of respondents have a high level; 36.2% - average and 3.8% of respondents have a low level of positive motivation of students to strengthen personal health by means of physical culture after the introduction of game and competitive teaching methods. The index of student satisfaction with our proposed method is 95%. Such significant changes testify to the cognitive motivation of students in medical institutions, interest in the educational process, the desire to attend academic classes and stable adaptation to the university. Thus, the formation of positive motivation in student youth to actively support personal health throughout life, through physical culture and sports is one of the ways that can to some extent ensure their healthy lifestyle.
