This study aims to understand the role of the SLPHT program in increasing farmers' knowledge and for the analysis of income and rice income in farmers collecting SLPHT with non-SLPHT farmers in North Labuhanbatu Regency. The study used a survey method and was carried out in North Labuhanbatu Regency for 3 (three) months, starting in April 2016 until June 2016. The number of research samples were 150 lowland rice farmers analyzed using statistics using average difference analysis (T test analysis) using SPPS software version 19. Results of research conducted with farmers who developed SLPHT, lowland rice, average prices average of 4,74 tons / hectare / planting season (tons / ha / MT). There is no significant difference in production and income between farmers collecting SLPHT and non-SLPHT. However, there is a difference in production between 500 Kilograms / Ha / MT. Regional related to farmers. SLPHT has a higher paddy production of 500 kg / ha / MT. The results of statistical analysis, average, average, income, farmers, SLPHT, much greater Rp. 1,060,113 from non-SLPHT farmers. The results of this study also found that the SLPHT program could broaden farmers' perspectives in agriculture.

Abstract   The thing rises of the Balinese-Hindu farmers in the implementation of the Subak system in their fields. In this system, common life is arranged among farmers, where the irrigation system is carried out fairly and evenly, all problems are discussed together such as determining the planting tune, and the type of rice to be planted. If there is a violation, the sanction is determined through a civil ceremony or ritual held in Pura. This study aims to determine the income of lowland rice farmers who implemented the Subak system in the Subak Pura Sari in Baubau Town. The results showed that the average income of lowland rice farming that implemented the Subak system in Baubau Town was IDR 12,767,352 in the form of rice per planting season, with an average cost of IDR 9.162,648 in the period from 2016 to 2017. While in terms of efficiency, farming is profitable because the R/C ratio is greater than 1, namely 1.39. Fulfillment of the needs of farmers with this income is considered because the number of regional minimum wages (UMR) in Southeast Sulawesi in 2017 is at the figure of IDR 2,002,625 per month.   Keywords: Subak system, rice fields, farm income

This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of farmer groups and the social status of lowland rice farmers in Cialam Jaya Village, Konda Sub District, South Konawe District. This research was conducted in Cialam Jaya Village in September-December 2019. The determination of the research area was carried out purposively with the consideration that Cialam Jaya Village is one of the centres for lowland rice production and has farmer groups. Simple random sampling (simple random sampling) takes 10% or as many as 26 respondents of rice farmers. The data analysis used was the Spearman Rank Correlation analysis. The results showed that the role of the group was significantly related to the socioeconomic status of lowland rice farmers, with a significance value of 0.019.

Background: Considering the role of lifestyle in promoting, maintaining, continuity health and the importance of paying attention to the veterans and their families who have suffered a lot in order to sacrifice for the homeland, the present study intends to compare the lifestyle among veterans and non-veterans in Mashhad city. Methods: This study was conducted using a survey method. The statistical population included the veteran and non-veteran families of Mashhad. A total of 360 questionnaires were filled out in this city. The research instruments were Lifestyle Questionnaire (LSQ) and All Aspects of Health Literacy Scale. The data were analyzed by SPSS v.24. Results: There is not a significant difference between the mean scores of lifestyle in the two groups of veteran and non-veteran in Mashhad (p > 0.05). The comparison of mean lifestyle scores also showed that there was no significant difference between the lifestyle scores of men and women in the non-veteran group and the mean scores of the single and married lifestyle in the veteran and non-veteran group (p > 0.05). There is a significant relationship between education level and health literacy of veteran and non-veteran families with their lifestyle, age, and employment status. They are also related to the lifestyle of their life because of the status they provide for the sacrifices. Conclusion: Comparison of the two groups in terms of lifestyle indicates that the veterans are in a less favorable position than non-veterans in terms of some aspects of lifestyle such as physical health, exercise and health, disease prevention and mental health.

The Role of Agricultural Extension Workers In Assisting Farmers Rice at Lalan Distric Musi Banyuasin Regency. This study aims to find out how the role of Agricultural Extension Workers In Assisting Farmers Rice at Lalan Distric Musi Banyuasin Regency. Research has been conducted in the of BP3K Karang Agung Tengah Lalan Distric Musi Banyuasin Regency June-August, 2016. The method used in this study is a survey method, sampling method used in this study is simple random sampling, data collection methods used in this research were interviews and observations of agricultural extension field and farmers instance guided by questions (quisoner ) which has been prepared. The results showed that the role of Agricultural Extension Workers in the BP3K Karang Agung Tengah is a consultant, facilitator, and educator resources to assist rice farmers groups in the of Lalan District Musi Banyuasin Regency.

The study is aimed to identify the relationship between gender and race with needs motivation in academic performance for secondary school students. A survey method through questionnaire was used to collect motivation score and demographic of samples. A total of 400 form 3 students from five different secondary schools in Skudai, Johor were selected as respondents using a stratified random sampling technique. The David McClelland Motives questionnaire was used as a research instrument, in which it covers three main domains of motivation, namely needs of achievement, needs of affiliation, and needs of power. Inferential T-test and Pearson correlation were used to test the hypotheses. The T-test analysis stated that there was no significant difference between gender and race with motivation scores. Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a weak significant positive relationship between motivation score and student's academic performance mean score. In a conclusion, need motivation has an influence on students’ academic performance. Teachers should assimilate a variety of teaching styles and encourage students from time to time to motivate them to strive for excellence.

The role of teacher is proficient, be composed of academic, didactic and social roles. Academic roles cover teaching, instructing and supervisory characters and pedagogical characters include instructional, valuation and simplifying roles. The study aimed to identify the teaching competency of secondary school teachers. The investigator adopted survey method to study the teaching competency between teachers from selected government, private and aided school. For this study a sample of 300 school teachers from eight various schools which are situated in Palakkad district selected by the investigator using simple random sampling technique. The findings revealed that there is no significant difference towards teaching competency among selected secondary school teachers with respect to personal variables like Gender, Marital Status, Educational Qualification, Type of Management and Teaching experience. The findings of the study help to discover the teaching competency of secondary school teachers in the society.

The research is aimed at assessing the important role of TVET on job creation and sustainable development of Nigerian economy. Two research questions were answered using mean and standard deviation statistics, while two hypotheses were tested using t-test statistic. A survey method was employed for the research. A four-point scale questionnaire was employed as the instrument for collection of data. The population consists of 332 TVET lecturers in 3 universities and 4 colleges of education in Edo and Delta States. There was no need to adopt sampling technique, nor select any sample size, since the entire population is of a manageable size. The instrument was validated by two experts and its reliability coefficient value using Cronbach alpha method was 0.81. The research revealed that TVET can equip students with skills for job creation and sustainable development of Nigerian economy. It also revealed that there was no significant difference between the mean ratings of TVET lecturers in Edo and Delta States on the extent to which TVET can equip students with skills for job creation. It further revealed that there was no significant difference between the mean ratings of male and female TVET lecturers on the extent to which TVET can equip students with skills for sustainable development of Nigerian economy. Optimizing sufficient amount of financial resources, regular supplies of state-of-the-art facilities, sourcing for qualified manpower, and organization of advocacy programme, that would help in effective management delivery of TVET were further recommended. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of income obtained by farmers who sell grain directly after harvest and farmers who delay selling grain and to find out the difference in income of farmers who sell unhulled grain directly after harvest with farmers who delay selling grain. This research was conducted using a survey method. Sampling of farmers who postpone selling grain and storing them waiting until the price of grain is high was carried out by using the census method for all populations totaling 17. Meanwhile, sampling of farmers who directly sell grain to 17 farmers from 374 populations was carried out using purposive sampling method with criteria respondents are farmers who have their own land with a land area of> 0.5 Ha. The results showed that the average production cost for the farmers to postpone selling GKP was IDR 12,911,329 / Ha / MT, the income was IDR 23,215,058 / Ha / MT, so that the income was IDR 10.303,729 / Ha / MT The production costs for direct selling GKP farmers are IDR 12,107,847 / Ha / MT, revenue is IDR 21,527,265 / Ha / MT, so you get an income of IDR 9,419,417 / Ha / MT. The average income of the respondent's delay in selling GKP was higher than that of the respondent who was selling GKP directly with the average difference in income of IDR 884,312 / Ha / MT. The R-C value of the delay in selling GKP is 1.80, while the direct selling value is 1.78. Statistically, there is a significant (significant) difference between the income of the respondent with the delay in selling GKP and the respondent from selling GKP directly. This can be seen from the t value of 3.42 and the t value of 2.036.

The aims of this research are to analyze income, comparison of income, and marketing effeciency of organic and inorganic rice farming in Pringsewu District. This research was conducted in Fajaresuk Village Pringsewu Subdistrict, Pringsewu District using a survey method Data were collected from August to September 2017. The sample size in research were 14 organic rice farmers, 25 inorganic rice farmers, 15 marketing respondents including 1 member of Sejahtera Farmer Group, 9 rice merchants, and 5 millers based on rice marketing flow (snowball). The data were analyzed using income, comparison of income, and marketing analyses. The results of study showed that organic rice farming income bigger than inorganic rice farming income. There is a significant difference between organic and inorganic rice farming income. The marketing of organic rice is more efficient than inorganic rice.Key words: income, inorganic rice, marketing, organic rice

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning media based of macromedia flash on the knowledge of students high school in Sidoarjo Regency. The type of research carried out was quasi-experimental. The study was designed with two treatment classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The sample used as subjects in this study were two high schools in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The research subjects are class XI PGRI High School and Sidoarjo High School. Each school was chosen by two classes which were used as the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument used was a test instrument about tax material. The research data were analyzed using the parametric statistical test with a t-test that aims to determine the average difference of each class of research. The results showed that: there was a significant difference between the knowledge of students who were given learning assisted by interactive media based on macromedia flash tax and conventional learning. Results of t-test analysis show that the significance value is less than alpha 0.05.
