Abstract  - This study is aimed to investigate the effect of media uses  towards the result of creative production of variety show Mission X Trans TV on resident of Perumahan Griya Permata Asri Tulungagung, East Java. Sub variable of media uses such as frequency, intensity, duration, media content, the individual’s relationship with media. Related literature used in this research is uses and gratification theory. This research belongs to quantitative research. Sample employed here is 78 resident of Perumahan Griya Permata Asri Tulungagung, East Java. In gathering the data, questionnaire is used and the result is counted by using likert scale. Moreover, to make the data valid, some tests are also used. They are validity test and reliability test. Furthermore, the data are analyzed by using double linier regression analysis. From the results of data analysis and discussion it was found that the variable  of media uses (X), have a significant effect on creative production (Y). The contribution of media uses amounted to 45,7%, the remaining approximately influenced by other factors besides these variable. The existence of a good escapits needs effect of resident perceives the success of production team of Mission X Trans TV. To obtain a positive perception of the public, production team of Mission X Trans TV must improve the quality of program television.  Keywords: media uses, creative production, variety show

Purpose The purpose of this study is to compare the gratification sought and gratification obtained for cognitive needs from social media among information professionals in the limelight of uses and gratification theory. Cognitive needs are related to knowledge, acquiring information, comprehension etc., and gratification sought and gratification obtained are two distinct components of the uses and gratification theory. Design/methodology/approach For this quantitative research study, a self-administered survey questionnaire was used to collect data from the participants of the study. Sample of this study was 700 information professionals who are necessarily users of social media. Findings Finding of this study depicted that gratification obtained and gratification sought from social media for cognitive needs are different from each other, and information professionals need to revisit their social media use for cognitive needs. Research limitations/implications The present study is limited to gratification sought and gratification obtained for cognitive needs among information professionals. Practical implications This study has determined that information professionals need to revisit their social media use for cognitive needs, as the obtained gratifications are different from gratification sought from social media. Social implications Social media provides versatility of information in different forms and large numbers of information professionals are the users of social media around globe. Perceived use of social media for cognitive needs has been resulted into destructed gratifications. This study has brought the actual outcome of the use of social media to the audience so that they may rectify their social media use. Originality/value This study is a significant contribution for information professionals to review the gratifications sought and obtained from social media for cognitive needs. It has been established in this study that gratifications sought are significantly different from gratifications obtained from social media among information professionals.

Apparatus on the quality of public services in Wala Village, Kecamatang Maritengngae, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population in conducting this study were people with male and female gender, amounting to 3,725 people from two environments, the data collection technique used was the Slovin formula with 92 results, taken based on purposive sampling technique. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research, data collection techniques used are observation techniques, questionnaires, literature study, and documentation. The data analysis technique is using the validity and reliability tests using the SPSS 21.0 application and a Likert scale. Based on the research that was taken from the results of the questionnaire data, it was obtained that the recapitulation of the Apparatus Performance variable with a percentage of 67.4% was included in the "Good" category while the recapitulation of the Public Service Quality variable with a percentage of 69.6% was included in the "Good" category.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of omprehension, quality of service, and tax penalties to the level of i taxpayer compliance UMKM in KPP Pratama Wonosari. While this study was conducted to examine the effect of comprehension, quality of service, and tax penalties simultaneousuly level of taxpayer compliance UMKM in KPP Pratama Wonosari . This study uses the dependent variable is tax compliance while independent variable are of comprehension, quality of service, and tax penalties. The sampling technique that is taken sksidental sampling. Aksidental sampling is technique determination sample based spontaneity factor, meaning anyone inadertently meet with investigators and accordance with characteristics (traits) than that person is used as s sample. This study classified in quantitative research. Data collection procedures using a question are wich was distributed to the public filled by an taxpayer. While data analys techniques using multiple regression analysis bye the F-test, koefisien determine R2, and T-test. Quality data test of validitas test and reliability test. The clasical assumption test of normaliy test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The result showed the Comprehension and quality of services significant positive effect on the level of compliance of taxpayer. While tax penalties not significant effect on the level of compliance of taxpayer. And simultaneousulycomprehension, quality of service, and tax penaltiessignificant positive effect on the level of compliance of taxpayer. Results of determination (R2) that show the influence of the kepauhan 70.7% and the remaining 29.3% is influenced by other factors. For many years, researchers interested in the blogosphere have collectively acknowledged the lack of scholarly attention into the role of blog readers in the blogging activity. While many pioneering studies as well as new studies have highlighted the rising potential of this field, there has been no systematic examination of the growth or lack thereof of this field. As a result, this article reviews blog reader–focused research between 2008 and 2018 through a content analysis of blog reader–focused research articles obtained from seven databases: EBSCO’s Academic Search Complete, JSTOR, EBSCO’s Communication & Mass Media Complete, SAGE Journals, Elega’s Chronological Arrangement of Blog Readership Research, Wiley Online Library, and Taylor and Francis. We also identified the methods, theories, geospatial concentration, and journals that published these articles. Findings show that although at least one article was published each year with a peak of six in 2013 and 2015, blog reader–focused research has not really evolved given that concentration has tremendously decreased in the last 3 years (2016–2018). Regarding genres, we learnt that the majority of articles focused on political blogs, and most of the studies adopted quantitative research methods and survey as a data collection method. The results also show that blog reader–focused studies published between 2008 and 2018 used Uses and Gratification Theory more than other theories, and the majority of these articles focused on blogs in the United States. Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, New Media &Society, and Computers in Human Behavior published more blog reader–focused research than other journals.

Our study aims to evaluate if user motive factors, comprising; cognitive needs, social integrative needs, and personal integrative needs might influence email satisfactory communication among South-East Nigerian academic staff. The study was proposed because empirical evidence has proven these user motive factors as effective elements of the uses and gratification theory; capable of influencing satisfactory communication on other virtual communication media. However, past studies appeared little or no consideration has been explicitly given towards integrating them on email interaction related-study to attest them. Therefore, this study was conducted via a quantitative research method because it required hypotheses testing to infer the outcomes and generalize them to the targeted population. Regarding the key findings of the study, it showed that South-East Nigerian academic staff email usage patterns differed from one another. However, the salient email usage pattern established that almost the majority of them mostly prefer using their email addresses to the official ones. Furthermore, the direct effects relationships demonstrated that only two dimensions of user motive construct had significant direct effects on email satisfactory communication. Whilst the social integrative needs had no significant direct effects. Nonetheless, personal integrative needs contributed most to email satisfactory communication. Conclusively, it is recommended that South-East Nigerian academic staff and other email users should mostly consider personal integrative needs and cognitive needs if they intend to achieve email satisfactory communication. The outcomes of our study further contributed to the virtual media satisfactory communication domain, especially the asynchronous ones. Abstrak Pada masa pandemi covid 19 ini kehadiran social media juga membangun pengaruh iklan dan konten di dalamnya untuk mempengaruhi konsumen restoran favorit di negara Indonesia dalam melakukan pembelian produk maupun jasa dan akan membangun consumer engagement. Sehingga, dalam pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh restoran tersebut pada saat ini juga memiliki dampak yang besar bagi keberlangsungan restoran untuk menarik konsumen yang ada demi menciptakan kestabilan pada restoran serta adanya waktu jangka panjang bagi restoran dalam melakukan ekspansi atau promosi terhadap perkembangannya tersebut. Kehadiran konsumen, merek, produk, serta layanan yang diberikan juga sangat penting bagi perkembangan restoran saat ini terutama yang mempengaruhi konsumen adalah dengan adanya informasi yang disebarkan di dalam content social media ataupun pengunaan iklan yang terdapat dalam restoran tersebut.  Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan model konseptual consumer engagement melalui konten media sosial dan iklan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan kuesioner secara daring dengan teknik non probability sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian yang valid sebanyak 120 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa semakin tinggi penggunaan iklan dalam promosi maka semakin tinggi tingkat consumer engagement, begitu juga semakin tinggi penggunaan konten media sosial maka semakin tinggi tingkat consumer engagement yang dapat disimpulkan seluruh hipotesis didukung. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan kepada manajer pemasar restoran mengenai cara memanfaatkan konten media sosial dan iklan media sosial dalam meningkatkan consumer engagement. Keyword : Content Social Media, Iklan, Consumer Engagement Consequences Consumer Engagement : Advertisement and Content Social Media Focusing on Restaurant Indonesia Consumers A Perspective Uses and Gratification Theory Abstract During the COVID-19 pandemic, social media also builds the influence of advertisements and content to influence consumers of favourite restaurants in Indonesia in purchasing products and services and will build consumer engagement. Thus, the marketing carried out by the restaurant at this time also has a major impact on the sustainability of the restaurant to attract existing consumers to create stability in the restaurant, and there is a long-term period for the restaurant to expand or promote its development. The presence of consumers, brands, products, and services provided is also significant for the development of restaurants today, especially those that affect consumers are the information disseminated in social media content or the use of advertisements contained in the restaurant. The research objective is to develop a conceptual model of consumer engagement through social media content and publicity—the sampling technique used online questionnaires with non-probability sampling techniques. The sample in the valid study was 120 respondents—data analysis method using PLS-SEM. The study results prove that the higher the use of advertising in promotions, the higher the level of consumer engagement, as well as the higher the use of social media content, the higher the level of consumer engagement, which can be concluded that all hypotheses are supported. AbstractEvery company activity must be adjusted. Every change in the business environment is fast and accurate. Bank Syariah Mandiri Financing Bank (BPRS) successfully conducted fundraising activities and channeled funds to the public. There are some things that are more satisfying than expected by the company, quality of service and distribution. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of significant company funds on Customer Satisfaction, assess the importance of good service to Customer Satisfaction and obtain a significant distribution channel to Customer Satisfaction. The research method uses quantitative research and associative research types. Data analysis techniques cursed multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 23. The results showed that company image has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, service quality is significantly related to sales satisfaction and distribution distribution significantly on customer satisfaction. Keywords: Company Image, Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction Abstrak Setiap kegiatan perusahaan bisnis harus mampu mengadopsi setiap perubahan dalam lingkungan bisnis secara cepat dan akurat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh signifikan dana Citra perusahaan terhadap Kepuasan Nasabah, menguji pengaruh signifikan Kualitas Pelayanan terhadap Kepuasan Nasabah dan  menguji Saluran Distribusi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Nasabah. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Teknik analisis data memaki analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 23.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah, kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah dan saluran distribusi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah. Kata Kunci:  Citra Perusahaan, Kualitas Pelayanan, Kepuasan Nasabah

Recent data confirm the central role that YouTube plays in the media life of young people in the west, and especially in the media practices of adolescents and preadolescents. This article presents a study on tweens’ YouTube preferences and media practices. The study was based on the uses and gratification theory and applied a quantitative-qualitative approach: a questionnaire was administered to 1,406 preadolescents (x = 12, 11 years-old) from 41 secondary schools, and three focus groups with six participants (three girls and three boys) each were carried out in three schools. The results reveal that the tweens participating in the study consider YouTube as a social media and a video catalogue. They especially like YouTube’s content, in particular entertainment (music and humour) and self-learning (tutorials); however, they generally dislike its interactive functions (e.g., sharing and commenting). Moreover, their media practices on YouTube reveal that tweens incorporate YouTube into their everyday media life within other social media, although they use it predominantly to consume media content in a “traditional”/“non-interactive” way, similar to traditional television use. Despite this they do not consider it as a “new” television. Finally, tweens in our study use YouTube especially for entertainment, and, on a second level, for self-learning and socialising functions. Further studies need to be carried out to go deeper into the prosumption possibilities for tweens’ both on YouTube and other social media.

The quality of public services is concerned and improved to meet the satisfaction of the people, which has made governments more aware of the need to provide public services according to the needs and preferences of the public. Most of the previous studies used qualitative methods to assess people's satisfaction with public services. The authors use a quantitative research method to explore the quality of public services in Vietnam using the Servqual model and explore the relationship between personality traits and satisfaction with public services. The study was conducted in OSS rooms in Hanoi city, Vietnam in June 2021, using the intentional sampling method. Collect data through survey of 500 votes, of which 350 valid votes of citizens. The results of analysis by SEM model show that all 5 elements of personality traits: Openness, Dedication, Neuroticism; psychic; Greablenes has a positive and significant influence on the remaining 5 factors through 2 coefficients, Regression Weights and P-value, both have reliable values. The conclusion of this study provides valuable data for Government policymakers.

This study aims to see whether awareness impacts the quality of life in early adulthood, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research was conducted because Indonesia is currently experiencing the Corona Virus, better known as Covid 19, which is known to be known. This pandemic has a carom effect on many aspects. The public has started to feel the impact of the Corona Virus more than recently. Many people feel bored, cannot be productive, and even feel sad because of this situation. So that began to be done various ways to overcome this effect so as not to spread more widely. One of them is mindfulness, which is expected to affect how a person thinks and later will impact the quality of one’s life. The quality of life itself is very influential in a person’s life because it is related/covers almost all aspects of life, starting from emotional, social, and even physical in one’s life. If the quality of life is good, it cannot make someone feel prosperous and impact happiness, creativity, productivity, etc. Therefore, researchers want to see whether one’s awareness can affect aspects of the quality of life with this pandemic. This quantitative research uses a questionnaire as the primary data technique and uses SPSS ver.26 for data processing. The results showed that mindfulness has a relationship or can affect a person’s quality of life, especially individuals in early adulthood.
