Brand plays a major role in the success of companies, the corporate identity has become firmly established in the business communication environment, and can play a major role in the success of the company. Spatial symbols do not take a mere narrative structural formation, because their presence is not a neutral, static presence, but rather plays an active role in brand design and even in determining its functional options. Accordingly, dealing with these symbols was of great importance, as they are one of the components of the semantic construction of the design work , It is one of the foundations that constitute the designer's vision towards achieving the desired goal of the design, In this context, the search for spatial symbols becomes justified, especially if the design is among the works that show the act of belonging to the place. the importance of the tagged study (the employment of spatial symbols in the design of brands) to clarify the subject through three chapters. The first chapter includes the research problem and the need for it Which is represented by the following question (What are spatial symbols and how are they employed in the brand)? The aim of the study was (to identify spatial symbols in brand design). It includes the importance of the research, the limits of the research, and the definition of terms. As for the second chapter, it included the theoretical framework consisting of four sections that included the first topic (the symbol and identity of the place) and the second topic (symbols in graphic design), while the third topic included (the brand design). The fourth topic included (research applications), as the researcher adopted the descriptive approach, the method of content analysis in analyzing research models. In the third chapter, the research reached the results and conclusions, including: 1-As a result, the spatial symbols in the brand achieve the depth of belonging and the cultural embodiment of the country to be employed in the brand. 2-The spatial symbols in the design of the brand have had a creative impact on the recipient, and it helps him identify the spatial references of the industrial establishment (cement factories).

The bifurcation of American and non-American perspectives in foreign policy analysis is a large topic to which justice cannot be done in limited space. To reduce the subject to somewhat more manageable scope, the focus here is on teaching and. more specifically, on undergraduate courses on American foreign policy. After examining some evidence that might shed light on the question, this essay will suggest some reasons, both within and outside the discipline, for this development, as well as some possible ways of avoiding undue parochialism by ensuring that non-American perspectives get some hearing. This is not the place to undertake extensive content analyses of foreign policy texts, but even a cursory glance at several recent, widely used volumes indicates that many students are exposed almost wholly to American perspectives. Materials cited in footnotes and as suggested readings are overwhelmingly written by American authors. That pattern also extends to three of the best recent collections of readings on American foreign policy. The first includes 32 essays, not one of which is by a non-American, all nine chapters in the second are by Americans, and only one of 12 essays in the third is co-authored by a foreign scholar. In fairness, it should be pointed out that these materials hardly present a homogeneous viewpoint on the sources, conduct, and consequences of American diplomacy; a collection of readings that includes essays by George Kennan, Carl Gershman, Henry Kissinger, and Stanley Hoffmann can hardly be accused of presenting a single outlook. Moreover, the diversity of choices among available texts provides a broad range of perspectives, from moderately hard-line to distinctly revisionist.

Art of the article is one of the expressive arts. It has its own origins, features, and importance. Art of the article can be defined as one of the prose genera that appeared in the modern Arabic literature after its connection to European literature in the eighteenth century, when the art of the article appeared as a separate literary genre, in which the writers deal with the issues related to the aspects of their individual, social, political, religious, literary and scientific lives and environments, with the criticism and analysis. Development of the press helped to develop this literary genus. Some writers became popular and famous through this art, but many of them misused it and failed to build a bridge between them and their readers through this artistic circumstance, which has a limited size, in which the writer can put a specific topic not exceeded from a few pages, where the writer finds a complete freedom in choosing the topic, so that the article contains various topics, but the writer must avoid lengthening in explaining the dimensions of the subject of his article, as the author often deals with what is limited to a specific idea around which the whole article revolves, and tries to reveal and clarify all dimensions that relate to it briefly. We try to shed light on the art of article, its types and forms in terms of its technical characteristics, using the descriptive approach that is more suitable for such topics of the expressive arts.

The philosophical and political aspects of Utopia have often shadowed the geographical and cartographical dimension of More’s work. Thus, I will try to shed light on this aspect of the book in order to lay emphasis on the links fostered between knowledge and space during the Renaissance. I shall try to show how More’s opusculum aureum, which is fraught with cartographical references, reifies what Germain Marc’hadour terms a “fictional archipelago” (“The Catalan World Atlas” (c. 1375) by Abraham Cresques ; Zuane Pizzigano’s portolano chart (1423); Martin Benhaim’s globe (1492); Martin Waldseemüller’s Cosmographiae Introductio (1507); Claudius Ptolemy’s Geographia (1513) ; Benedetto Bordone’s Isolario (1528) ; Diogo Ribeiro’s world map (1529) ; the Grand Insulaire et Pilotage (c.1586) by André Thevet). I will, therefore, uncover the narrative strategies used by Thomas More in a text which lies on a complex network of geographical and cartographical references. Finally, I will examine the way in which the frontispiece of the editio princeps of 1516, as well as the frontispiece of the third edition published by Froben at Basle in 1518, clearly highlight the geographical and cartographical aspect of More’s narrative.

The various published biographies and biographical notices of G.I. Gurdjieff (c.1865-1949) are of diverse style, quantity and content. While some have made considerable contributions to the subject, most attempts have reacted for or against Gurdjieff’s status as what might call an ‘Enlightened Master’. Little biographical writing on Gurdjieff has questioned the scope, reliability and prejudices of the sources. Further, possible resources have been neglected. The development in Gurdjieff’s ideas is often overlooked, his life is not sufficiently related to that development, and the lack of comparative research has failed to highlight Gurdjieff’s unique contributions. This article is structured in four parts. The first is an introduction, followed by an overview of existing biographical studies of Gurdjieff. The third part addresses bias in these studies, and this is followed by suggestions for future studies. It is concluded that fieldwork regarding the biography of Gurdjieff has been hampered by imperfect methodology. However, with better use of the source material, some of which has only recently been discovered, and a rigorous use of sources, a more balanced and nuanced picture of Gurdjieff’s life, and the development of his ideas and methods, should emerge.
