The sale of fish is one of the main roles that is very important, in addition to getting the optimal price, the sale of fish is also very supportive of the economy of the region, especially the coast. In the sale of fish today still need a technological development in the field of calculation. The amount of fish and consumer demand makes fish sellers or fishermen unable to properly control the results of their sales, starting from service and pricing, calculation errors that cause prices to be not optimal, causing losses. Therefore, a solution is needed that can overcome these problems. TOTOKAN (Fish Pond Shop) is an innovation to prevent errors in the calculation of the selling price of fish using Arduino Uno-based RFID and LCD as its monitor. TOTAKAN is designed with an RFID system that has been programmed by ARDUINO UNO R3 which is a source of microproseor from all systems, while the 4x4 keypad serves as a calculation of the number of fish purchases as well as the overall price, and a 16x2 LCD serves to display the price and the number of copies. TOTAKAN is able to be the main solution for the regional economy, especially coastal areas. In addition to simple, this innovation can also create efficiency over time, so that the seller does not need to control the maximum sales results.

Based on the perspective of the quantum game, this paper explores when the online direct sales channel takes the free-riding behavior after the retail channel provides high-quality experience and services and how the dual-channel supply chain establishes a commodity pricing strategy. The retailer’s selling price follows a decreasing function of the free-riding behavior coefficient. while the online direct selling price does an increasing function of the free-riding behavior coefficient. Under centralized decision-making, there is no quantum entanglement, so the quantum game solution is consistent with the classical game solution. Under decentralized decision-making, the optimal price and profit of the quantum game are higher than those of the classical game when the quantum entanglement degree is greater than zero. When the quantum entanglement tends to be infinite, the optimal price of the quantum game finally remains in convergence. The quantum game theory is a more optimal decision-making method than the classical game theory.

AbstractThe Vibrio cholerae biotype ‘El Tor’ is responsible for all current epidemic and endemic cholera outbreaks worldwide. These outbreaks are clonal and are hypothesized to originate from the coastal areas near the Bay of Bengal where the lytic bacteriophage ICP1 specifically preys upon these pathogenic outbreak strains. ICP1 has also been the dominant bacteriophage found in cholera patient stool since 2001. However, little is known about its genomic differences between ICP1 strains collected over time. Here we elucidate the pan-genome and phylogeny of ICP1 strains by aligning, annotating and analyzing the genomes of 19 distinct isolates collected between 2001 and 2012. Our results reveal that ICP1 isolates are highly conserved and possess a large core-genome as well as a smaller, somewhat flexible accessory-genome. Despite its overall conservation, ICP1 strains have managed to acquire a number of unknown genes as well as a CRISPR-Cas system, which is known to be critical for its ongoing struggle for co-evolutionary dominance over its host. This study describes a foundation on which to construct future molecular and bioinformatic studies of this V. cholerae-associated bacteriophages.

The paper provides a concise overview of documentation management activity per- formed at the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb during the period ranging from 1919 to this day. It strives to highlight the importance, as well as the changes and the expan- sion of the role of documentation management in museums over time. The continuity of documentation management at the Ethnographic Museum has been pointed out over the first 100 years of its activity and the work of the people who have played a crucial role in the formation and the documentation management at the Museum has been concisely presented. The conclusion presents the current challenges and efforts to harmonise the documentation management tradition with the changes in laws, technological development and international standards

The Bishop-Simpson model, a variant of the traditional shift-share approach, is utilized for investigation of the development of the southern New Hampshire regional economy over time. Emphasis is placed on the strengths of the new technique in counteracting some of the limitations of traditional shift-share analyses. The B and S technique gives a clearer picture than the traditional shift-share approach of the relative advantages and disadvantages for region in terms of its specialization in slow or fast growing industries.

AbstractThis article looks at the evolution of international negotiation. The practice of negotiation between sovereigns goes back at least 4,500 years. Detailed cases are found in the royal archives of Mari from the time of the Babylonian lawgiver Hammurabi and in the el-Amarna archives of the pharaohs. Though the protocol and substance of negotiation have changed over time, there is striking continuity of structure and process. Argumentation has not changed much. The study of well-documented historical examples can therefore deepen and enrich our understanding of negotiating. In modern European history we can detect, alongside recognizable and constant features of negotiation, elements that have evolved over time. We identify four features of the international system that have impacted the evolution of international negotiation in recent centuries: technological development, international regime change, growing trust and transparency, and the enhanced, autonomous role of small powers.

ABSTRACT The control and coordination of design and technological innovation pose a dilemma for design-driven organizations because the measurability of design and technological innovation differ. On one hand, a product's aesthetic value might increase if its design is separated from technological innovation and if design is controlled by means other than those used in technological innovation. On the other hand, tight integration is warranted because a product's design affects its cost, technical performance, and manufacturability. This dilemma is the focus of the paper. The paper contributes to extant literature in several ways. First, it conceptualizes control as a process that manages design and technological innovation through distinct, separate control mechanisms. Second, it analyzes and develops three modes of convergence through which the potentially contradictory concerns of design and technological development can be compared and evaluated. Finally, the paper suggests that coordination can be achieved through convergence processes that unfold and develop over time.

In a general sense, competitiveness is conveyed as the ability of a nation to lay the foundations and ensure an economic, social and political environment capable of sustaining the creation of added value, enabling the positioning of a country within global economy, from the perspective of comparing the performances obtained and the growth potential over time. The paper highlights the importance of increasing competitiveness of regional economy and the perspectives for their development. There are exhibited numerous aspects of the competitiveness concept expressed by definitions, formulated by experts that outline features of the phenomenon, as well as the interaction between knowledge and competitiveness. Finally, there are also shown some methods for measuring regional competitiveness.

This paper explores the relationship between technology and discovery in oceanography, examining examples of instrumentation development at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography (BIO). Between 1962 and 1986, BIO researchers and technicians initiated a wave of rapid technological development, while also adopting technology developed elsewhere. These developments were abridge into the digital age as BIO staff incorporated computer hardware and software into instrument development. This paper summarizes these developments, their impact on the work of the Institute, and factors that influenced this work, and how they changed over time BIO emerged as a world-class oceanographic institution.

It is often argued that global competition and technological development have made industrial jobs more unstable. In this article, we ask how career stability has evolved in the Finnish forest, metal, and chemical industries, comparing 14 cohorts (age groups) by gender and educational level. We focus on industrial employees born in 1958–1971 and compare their career stability at ages 30–44 using Statistics Finland’s linked employer-employee data from 1988 to 2015 and an application of sequence analysis. We analyze career stability over time by examining annual main labor market statuses (employed, unemployed, student, disabled, retired, out of the labor force), adding estimators for workplace and industry changes. The results show no evidence of career destabilization across the cohorts, but they do reveal persistent inequalities between industrial employees with low and high levels of education, and between men and women.
