The fact that many Russian universities offer a wide, but often similar, range of educational services substantiates stiff competition between them, which aggravated in the conditions of protracted global COVID-19 pandemic due to the need for rapid implementation of the tools and methods of distance learning. The educational institutions compete for not only students, by their admission to each specific discipline. The goal is set to analyze the competitive positions and opportunities of the university on the market of educational services in the Russian Federation. The subject of this research is Kazan Innovative University named after V. G. Timiryasov. The research methodology leans on the general theoretical methods, as well as 7P and SWOT analysis. As a result, the author determines the merits and flaws of the university, market opportunities and threats; as well as offers the vectors for improving on the market of educational services. The acquired conclusions on the need to expand the material base, increase the academic degree holders rate, involvement in the grant mechanism, and integration into the real sector of economy are relevant for a great many universities in the Russian Federation.

The Erasmus+ program (2014–2020) is one of the main initiatives developed by the European Commission in the field of education and is the final joint evolution of other minor and prior actions that provide schools and teachers with funding to carry out international mobility projects with a variety of formative activities. The benefits of carrying out international mobility activities to strengthen student learning and teacher training are well known and have been researched or reported even from the early stages of a program that was born back in the 1980s but has always been focused on the university level. When considering teachers at early levels (schools and high schools), the 2014–2020 Erasmus+ program was the main source of funding to grant Spanish teachers permanent training activities abroad with a direct positive impact on their careers. The year 2020 is the last year of the first evolution of the Erasmus+ program, which has been renewed, extended, and strengthened for a new six-year term (2021–2027). However, 2020 has also been a significant year. The COVID-19 global pandemic continues to affect the mobility of citizens within the different territories of the union and, thus, have a direct negative impact on international teacher and student mobility. Being 2020 the end of a cycle and a critical moment, it is the perfect time to conduct an analysis of the data associated with the participation of teachers and schools in Spain, their perceptions of the program, the different activities carried out, and the impact of the pandemic. This research study is based on an analysis of an opinion survey through a nationwide sample of teachers participating in KA101 Erasmus+ projects. This paper gathers and presents data and conclusions using information previously not available that most of the time is published in official reports globally without considering the particularities of the different states of the European Union.

As a form of fulfilling the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, Department of Accounting Universitas Trilogi does not only focus on teaching and research, but also on community service. In collaboration with Kantor Wilayah DJP Jakarta Selatan 1, Department of Accounting Universitas Trilogi conducted training in preparing financial reports based on SAK EMKM for UMKM Taxpayers in the KPP Pancoran Jakarta as the basis for reporting their Annual Tax Return. This activity was held on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020. The knowledge of UMKM Taxpayers in the KPP Pancoran Jakarta about financial and tax reporting is still very limited. This is what underlies the Community Service Team to conduct training activities in preparing financial and tax reports. The training consisted of three sessions: 1) giving material on preparing financial reports; 2) providing material about preparing tax reports; and 3) discussion and Q&A with the training participants. Because of the enthusiasm of the participants was very high, the training activities were followed by a mentoring session on the preparation of financial and tax reports held at Universitas Trilogi. Thus, participants get a better understanding and can report Annual Tax Return on time.

Diharapkan pelatihan ini akan menambah uang saku siswa dan menjadi bekal siswa setelah lulus.   Kata kunci: Jiwa Wirausaha, Manajemen Produksi, Telur Asin ABSTRACT Most of the students of MTs Miftahul Ulum come from a background of duck farmers and breeders. Students lack family support regarding the importance of education. This is shown by many students who drop out of school or even marry early. Based on the problem, a solution is needed, namely introducing students to entrepreneurship and management through training in making salted eggs as a provision for life skills. The service team provides assistance during the salted egg making training. The activity of making salted eggs is supported by the student's family background as duck breeders. Salting is one way to preserve eggs to make them more durable. Preserved salted eggs with kitchen ashes. The results of the dedication showed that the students were enthusiastic and happy with the training activities. It is hoped that this training will increase students' pocket money and become provisions for students after graduation. Keywords: Entrepreneurial Spirit, Production Management, Salted Eggs

The quality of academic performance and learning outcomes depend on various factors, both psychological and contextual. The academic context includes the training activities and the type of evaluation or examination, which also influences cognitive and motivational factors, such as learning and study approaches and self-regulation. In our university context, the predominant type of exam is that of multiple-choice questions. The cognitive requirement of these questions may vary. From Bloom's typical taxonomy, it is considered that from lower to higher cognitive demand we have questions about factual, conceptual, application knowledge, etc. Normally, the teacher does not take these classifications into account when preparing this type of exam. We propose here an adaptation model of the multiple choice questions classification according to cognitive requirement (associative memorization, comprehension, application), putting it to the test analyzing an examination of a subject in Psychology Degree and relating the results with measures of learning approaches (ASSIST and R-SPQ-2F questionnaires) and self-regulation in a sample of 87 subjects. The results show differential academic performance according to "cognitive" types of questions and differences in approaches to learning and self-regulation. The convenience of taking into account these factors of cognitive requirement when elaborating multiple choice questions is underlined.

Technological, economic, and social developments represent dynamic changes for businesses across industries, creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs to build profitable companies. A key consideration relates to the need to recognize market opportunities and understand when and how to capitalize on them, whether starting a new type of business or growing on existing ideas; entrepreneurial thinking is a central attribute in cultivating an answer to this consideration. This chapter examines the impact of case-based learning introduced in a multidisciplinary undergraduate course, “Management of Innovation and Technology,” at the University of Nicosia. A core element in this process are the students' and lecturers' experiences, benefits, and challenges of cultivating entrepreneurial thinking. The findings can be useful for academics teaching entrepreneurship-related topics and seeking ways to incorporate innovative approaches in their teaching and learning processes in order to motivate students towards the development of entrepreneurial thinking in their professional engagements.

Neurology and neurosurgery are among the most active disciplines at the Montreal General Hospital (MGH) today with impressive academic and neuroscientific profiles. This paper records an earlier period of activity when the feasibility of such research and clinical developments was only a dream. The history of neurology and neurosurgery at the MGH dates from the early days of this century – a story which is well-told by Preston Robb in “The Development of Neurology at McGill”. The level of clinical activities varied from decade to decade and from the 1930s was closely linked to the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI). An MGH Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery was established in the 1940s. Francis McNaughton was the first director and, on his move to become neurologist-in-chief at the MNI in 1951, he was succeeded by Harold Elliott, the neurosurgeon. Preston Robb was then the senior neurologist, assisted over variable periods of time by colleagues Norman Viner, Miller Fisher, William Tatlow, Bernard Graham, and David Howell. Dr. Robb reluctantly resigned in 1953 after having “met with the authorities to see if a basic research program could be developed. I was told that this was not possible, it was not in the tradition of the hospital, and research was the responsibility of the university.” For a short period in 1955 and 1956, JGS was a junior staff member in neurosurgery before joining Bill Feindel at the University of Saskatchewan. Despite these impressive hospital rosters, neurologists and neurosurgeons at the MGH were not full-time and the bulk of the academic and training activities of the McGill Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery continued at the MNI.
