This research report has a problem, purpose, method, result, and conclusion. Theproblem is the students’ low achievement in speaking. The purpose is to explain whetherSTAD can better improve students’ vocabulary mastery at the grade VII 2 students of JuniorHigh School 03 Pekanbaru and to explain the factors that influence changing of theimprovement of students’ Speaking skill by using STAD at the grade VII 2 students of JuniorHigh School 03 Pekanbaru. The method used is a classroom action research with two cyclescontaining plan, action, observation, and reflection. The result shows that students’ lowachievement in speaking can be improved. Finally, the conclusion is that using STAD canbetter improve students’ achievement in speaking.

This study is a classroom action research (CAR). This study proposed example non example technique to teach English for second grade students at state junior high school 1 Larangan Pamekasan to solve the students’ problems on speaking skill. The result of the preliminary study indicated that the problem of the students toward their speaking skill is the average speaking score is lower than the minimum standard of learning (KKM). Based on the pre-test, the students who got score more or equals to 75 are 7 students and 33 students got less 75. Then the researchers collaborated with the teachers try to solve the problem using example non-example technique using classroom action approach. The results showed that the instruction through example non-example technique in the Cycle I and Cycle II, there was improvement of students’ speaking ability at second grade of state junior high school 1 Larangan Pamekasan. The students were more imaginative and feel free to show their understanding about the pictures. It made they motivate to learn and they could improve their speaking ability.

ABSTRAK Masih kurang  minatnya siswa dalam belajar khususnya pelajaran matematika,  salah satu sebab adalah  metode yang digunakan oleh guru masih konvensional dan siswa bekerja secara individu, sehingga siswa yang kurang mampu kesulitan dalam memahami konsep dengan benar.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bilangan berpangkat dengan  model problem posing pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Batu.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  Penelitian Tindakan Kelas  (Classroom Action Research),  pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan  kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang datanya tanpa menggunakan teknik statistik. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Berdasarkan data yang diperolah dari pelaksanaan tindakan mulai siklus 1 sampai dengan siklus 2 dan berdasarkan hasil observasi tiap-tiap siklus terjadi peningkatan prestasi yaitu siswa yang mendapat nilai kurang dari KKM dari 17 siswa menjadi 7 siswa, mengalami peningkatan siswa yang mendapat nilai memenuhi KKM dari 18 menjadi 27 siswa, dan rata-rata tes siswa dari  62,29 menjadi 71,76 mengalami kenaikan 2,47%, serta prosentase ketuntasa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 48,6% menjadi 79,4% meningkat 30,8%.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendekatan model problem posing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada materi bilangan berpangkat. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan hasil belajar, Bilangan berpangkat, Problem Posing ABSTRACT The lack of student’s study interest especially on mathematics, one of the reason is the method is still conventional and students work individually, with the result that students harder to understanding the concept correctly. The purpose of this research is improving learning outcome on exponential numbers with problem posing model in 3rd years students on State Junior High School Batu. This research using Classroom Action Research design and qualitative approach, which is the research that not using statistics technique. This Classroom Action Research executed in two cycle. Every cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on data that obtained from the 1st cycle until 2nd cycle and based on observation from every cycle there is an achievement increase that is students that having under the minimum learning mastery standard from the initial is 17 students increase to 7 students, then there is increase the numbers of students that having on the minimum learning mastery standard from 18 to 27 students, and the average of students’ test from 62,29 to 71,76 (increasing 2,47%), so the percentage of learning mastery increased from 48,6% to 79,4% increase for about 30,8%. This shows that Problem Posing approach can increasing student’s study result especially on exponential numbers subject. Keyword: Increase of study result, Exponential numbers, Problem Posing

The objective of this research was to know the improvement of students’ ability in writing descriptive text by using picture series media. The subject of the research was students on class H at VII (seven) Junior High School 19 Bengkulu City, there were 23 students. The form of this research was a classroom action research. The data of this research were gathered from the descriptive writing test and analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The result showed that there are an improvement of students’ ability in writing descriptive text by using picture series media on class H at VII (seven) Junior High School 19 Bengkulu City. It can be seen from the writing result on cycle I that students’ average score 70 (enough) and increased with 76,04 (good) after repaired on cycle II, then increased again after repaired on cycle III with 86,17 (very good).

Education is the essence of the nation’s progress. But in reality, it is rhetoric whereas it has been more than 65 years of independence. The low professionalism of teachers in Indonesia can be seen from the eligibility of teaching teachers. One of effort to improve the professionalism of teachers, conducted through the supervision of school academic supervisors in supervision of teacher’s performance. Thus the role of academic supervision conducted by the school supervisor is very influential in order to improve the performance of teachers in teaching. This research was conducted in Junior High School (SMPN) in Tungkal Jaya districts. This was a classroom action research which the approach used in this research was a quantitative descriptive approach. The implementation of academic supervision of school supervisors influenced the performance of teachers’ science subject at SMPN 2 Tungkal Jaya, SMPN 3 Tungkal Jaya, SMPN 4 Tungkal Jaya, SMPN 5 Tungkal Jaya, and SMPN 7 Tungkal Jaya. This study showed that the performance of the teachers’ science subject increased from the category of less good value (≤ 50) to very good (≥ 86).

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika materi irisan dan gabungan dua himpunan dengan menerapkan Portal Rumah Belajar pada Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2012 - 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 langlah yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi.Hasil penelitian Penggunaan Portal Rumah Belajar pada siswa Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya, terbukti meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, sebelum tindakan siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa atau 73,3 %, pada Siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 23 siswa atau 76,7 %. sedangkan pada Siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 28 siswa atau 93,3 %. Dengan demikian kualitas pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan sampai dengan Siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Saran dalam PTK ini adalah: Guru harus memotivasi siswa untuk belajar secara inovatif mempergunakan media pembelajaran. Guru hendaknya memiliki paradigma bahwa guru bukan satu-satunya sumber belajar. Pembelajaran Matematika hendaknya disampaikan dengan menggunakan media yang mampu menyenangkan siswa dan mampu membuat siswa aktif. Kata Kunci: Himpunan, Portal Rumah BelajarAbstract: Math is considered difficult and students have less motivation in learning math. That is why teacher must provide approprite learning medium to ease the students to learn math. The aim of this study was to increase students’ mathematic learning achievement on intersection set and union set by applying the Portal Rumah Belajar for Seventh Grade A of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya year 2012 - 2013. The design of the study was Classroom Action Research. In this study two cycles were conducted, and each of which consisted of 4 steps, namely: (1) plan, (2) act, (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The use of Portal Rumah Belajar could increase the achievement of seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya. The number of student passing the competency in the pre-action was 22 students or 73.3%, in the cycle was 23 students or 76.7%, and in the cycle II were 28 students or 93.3%. Thus the quality of learning increased between pre-action and the second cycle. Recommendation from this classroom action research was: teacher should motivate students to learn innovatively by using instructional media. Teachers should have a paradigm that teacher was not the only source of learning. Learning math should be submitted using the media to please students and be able to keep students active. Abstract-The purpose of this research is to increase cooperation among students through the role playing method on the students of class VIII-C Muhammadiyah 6 Junior High School Bandung academic year 2014/2015. This study uses a classroom action research approach. Subjects in this study were students in class VIII-C Muhammadiyah 6 Junior High School Bandung. of collecting data technique using Role Playing method and teacher achievement test. Action is done as much as 3 cycles, in one cycle done 2 times action. Data processing refers to qualitative procedures and changes in learning evaluation results before and after learning by using Role Playing method. The results showed: 1). The percentage of observation results of cooperation between friends on this 1st cycle has not been seen, because it is still within the range of "less" rating with the percentage of 38.1%. While the average learning achievement score of 74.5, although there is an increase but not showing the expected success rate because the acquisition of values above the minimum score only amounted to 9 people. 2). The result of student activity observation shows that the cooperation between students in cycle 2 is increased, and is in the range of "enough" assessment with the percentage of 68%, the average value obtained is 83.25, although there is improvement, indicating the expected success rate, there are students earning grades under the minimum score of 4 students. 3). The 3rd cycle shows a very high increase and is in the 'good' range with a percentage of 80% and an average value of 86.Keywords: cooperation, role playing

This research was conducted to improve students’ achievement on Citizenship Education  through  Talking Stick Instructional Model in Class VII B Muhammadiyah Junior High School Seyegan  academic year of 2015/216. It was Classroom Action Research . Based on result of the study it  can be concluded that the implementation of   Talking Stick Instructional Model  improved  students’ achievement on Citizenship Education.  It  was based upon the results that (1) the procentage of passer grade was increased through entire cycles. The average of the score was 60.64  with 16.12 %  of students succed the defined treshold during pre Cycle, was increased  to 79.68 with 65.62 % of students during cycle I and the average of the score was increased to 96.54 consists of 93.54%. (2) The students’ learning activities were also increased, cycle I was 46.87%   and cycle II became 81.25%. Accordingly, it was recomended that Talking Stick Instructional Model can be used to improve students’ achievement on Citizenship Education.

This research aimed (1) to explain the learning process in writing short stories using the Learning-Based Project Methode by Class VIII at Lau State Junior High School, Maros Regency; (2) to explain the learning tesult of the short stories after the implementation of the model of the Learning-Based Project Methode by Class VIII at Lau State Junior High School, Maros Regency.The research type used was the Classroom Action Research, know as Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) or the Classroom Action Research. This Classroom Action Research implemented several cyrcle in its implementation.The research results indicated that there had been inceases of the process and the learning achievement of the students. Meanwhile, the learning result of the control class showed a difference. Cycle I reached the mean result of 70,86 and the cycle II reached the mean value of 72,11. However, such difference did not show any increase in the learning result. Both cycle could be categorized as adequate. The learning achievement of the experiment class showed a difference which was significant enough. Cycle I reached the mean value of 79,76 and could be categorized as adequate, while cycle II reached the mean value of 84,79 which was categorized as good. This revealed the learning increase which was significant enough.

Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia materi memahami iklan baris pada siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 (dua) siklus, dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo dengan subjek penelitian seluruh siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018  yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan 3 (tiga) tahapan meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hipotesis menyatakan diduga melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia materi memahami iklan baris pada siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Dari data empirik menyatakan melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia materi memahami iklan dari kondisi awal nilai rata-rata 70 dengan ketuntasan 54,54% ke kondisi akhir pada siklus II nilai rata-rata 85 dengan ketuntasan 86, 36% pada siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia materi memahami iklan baris pada siswa kelas IX D SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Kata Kunci: prestasi belajar, bahasa Indonesia, iklan baris, problem based learning (PBL)  Abstrak Bahasa Inggris : This study aims to improve the learning achievement of Indonesian material understanding of classified ads in grade IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo in the first semester of Lesson 2017/2018 through the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) method. Data analysis was done with 3 (three) stages including: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion or verification. Hypothesis states allegedly through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) method can improve learning achievement Indonesian language material understand classified ads on students of class IX D Junior High School 6 Sukoharjo first semester Lesson 2017/2018. From the empirical data states through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) method can improve learning achievement Indonesian material understand the ads from the initial condition of the average value of 70 with the completeness of 54.54% to the final condition in cycle II average value 85 with completeness 86 , 36% in grade IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Sukoharjo in the first semester of Lesson 2017/2018. This Community Service activity intended as an effort to improve the quality of learning and professionalism of teacher in Junior High School Tahdizul Qur'an Muadz bin Jabal Kendari by using training activities to improve the ability to implement innovative learning through Classroom Action research (CAR). CAR is intended to achieve several output targets which include: 1) Increase the understanding of teacher in Junior High School Tahdizul Qur'an Muadz bin Jabal Kendari about CAR concepts and practices to maximize self-evaluation as part of the teacher professional competency development process; 2)Improve teacher understanding of CAR concepts and practices; 3) Reducing the teaching quality gap between schools partner with other schools that qualified in air-CAR for their share of problems, exchange ideas and experiences, trials with, frank discussion between a teacher and a team of science and technology, and adjustment of the solution to the institutional structures and informal practices; 4) For schools, if the teacher in  Junior High School Tahdizul Qur'an Muadz bin Jabal Kendari can conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR), then student learning outcomes will improve so that it hoped that the quality of the school would also increase.  At this time PKM produced seven titles of CAR proposals provided by the teacher in Junior High School Tahdizul Qur'an Muadz bin Jabal Kendari who were ready to be submitted to the Action level
