This makes the government and related institutions have to present an alternative learning process. Many factors affect student learning outcomes coupled with changes in learning conditions due to the Corona virus (Covid-19) outbreak. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the impacts and constraints of the Covid-19 outbreak on teaching and learning activities, especially in Geography subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Sikur. Data collection was carried out using the pretest - posttest method of students' abilities before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out by quantitative methods using paired sample t-test to test the difference in the effect of the two treatments on the interrelated sample groups. The results of the analysis indicate that there is a difference in the average Geography learning outcomes of 11th grade of social science students before and after the outbreak of the corona virus. Information was obtained that the average value of student learning outcomes during the face-to-face learning process was 86.27, better than the average value when the learning process was carried out online which was 75.73. The curriculum in Philippines different with the curriculum in Indonesia. This make the learning process and the problems faced by students in Indonesia and Philippines different. One of the problems experienced by students is caused by the lack of variation in strategies in the teaching and learning process. The instructional model used by the teacher is to upgrade student learning outcomes, especially on high-level cognitive, in this research especially problem solving abilities. Instructional method used by researchers is Problem Based Learning (PBL) with a pretest posttest design. Data of this research obtained quantitatively and using the mean before and after the test. This study used control class and experimental class on material cells to organism. The results show that the experimental class has a higher average value of 88.6 compared to the control class, 81.9. These results indicate that PBL successfully increases learning activities and students can follow the learning model using PBL.

ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the problem of the low learning outcomes of students of Bima City Middle School 6. To overcome this problem, research was conducted using the Open-ended approach. This study examines the problem of improving student learning outcomes. This research is a Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, in which each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative analysis is done by using student learning outcomes data. Qualitative analysis is done using the results of the observation sheet during the teaching and learning process. From the results of data processing, the percentage of learning completeness in the first cycle was 83% with an average value of 82.08, while the percentage of learning completeness in the second cycle was 92% with an average value of 86.67. The average score of student learning activities in cycles I and II was 3.46 and 3.89 with the active category. The results showed that students were more active and motivated in the teaching and learning process and there was an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle using the Open-ended approach.  This study is a class action based on the results of observations in SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam, met some of the symptoms or phenomena in the learning process, among others: of the 18 students, only 10 people, which totaled completeness criteria minimal set school namely 65, while the other students have not reached the kkm, teaching and learning process education citizenship (civics) does not stimulate students to engage actively follow the lessons, it is apparent from the activities of children busy with activities respectively, learning only emphasizes the terms of cognitive less engaging students, so that students are less self-contained, so the lack of student learning outcomes, especially on the subjects of civics. Based on the above, it can be concluded that the low student learning outcomes. To improve student learning outcomes, this research used non-example of cooperative learning example in citizenship education lessons class III SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. The formulation of the problem in this research are: does the implementation of cooperative learning mode non-examples examples can improve learning outcomes civics lesson in third grade students of SDN 003 Pagaran Tapah Darussalam. This research was carried out in three cycles and each cycle is done in one meeting. In order to study this class action work well without barriers obstructing the smooth running of the study, researchers compiled stages are passed in classroom action research, namely: 1) planning/ preparatory actions, 2) implementation of the action, 3) observation and reflection. After the implementation of cooperative learning tife examples non-examples, it is known the first cycle student learning outcomes at an average value of 67.2. Then, after reflection and improvement against the weaknesses of learning. Unknown at the second cycle of the average value of student learning outcomes achieved on the average value of 75.6, and the third cycle, student learning outcomes also meninkat with the average achieved in the classical style was 80.8 in both categories. This means that all students have reached kkm is set so that it indicates the success of the study. Due to the success indicator set has exceeded 75%.
