In recent years driver fatigue is one of the major causes for vehicle accidents in the world. A direct way of measuring driver fatigue is measuring the state of the driver drowsiness.  So it is very important to detect the drowsiness of the driver to save life and property. In our system, this aims to develop a prototype of drowsiness detection system. This system is a real time system which captures image continuously and measures the state of the eye according to the specified algorithm and gives warning if required. Though there are several methods for measuring the drowsiness but this approach is completely non-intrusive which does not affect the driver in any way, hence giving the exact condition of the driver. For detection of drowsiness the each closure value of eye is considered. So when the closure of eye exceeds a certain amount then the driver is identified to be sleepy. The entire system is implemented using PSO, DPSO and FODPSO algorithm and detection of drowsiness behaviour of driver different eye state level.

The article is concerned with the topical issues of present – the principles and foundations of introduction of circular economy (CE). The article emphasizes that, despite the fact that the issue of introducing circular economy has already been widely covered in the scientific publications by domestic and foreign scholars, any strategy for the practical introduction of circular economy at the State level has not yet been formed. Thus, the publication is aimed at studying the key aspects and prerequisites for the introduction of circular economy within the Ukrainian terms. In accordance with this aim, the advantages and disadvantages of the introduction of circular economy in the world aspect are analyzed. The advantages of the introduction of circular economy include the following issues: profitability growth; reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; creation of new jobs. Among the shortcomings of the introduction of circular economy, the publication distinguishes the following: level of complexity of the promotion of systemic changes; economic fluctuations (CE may be non-profit in a short period of time); unsuitable markets (lack of necessary raw materials and infrastructure, competition, knowledge); imperfect regulation (imperfect legislation and/or its implementing); social factors (lack of knowledge and skills related to circular economy); insufficient control over waste sorting; level of financing (both on the part of the State treasury and business). Summing up the advantages and disadvantages of the introduction of circular economy, it is emphasized that, in the terms of CE, the most important value is not being attached to material flows or waste, but to much more sufficient methods, such as maintenance, reuse and recycling of equipment. Also, the research pays considerable attention to the instruments of circular economy and the prerequisites for their application. In addition, each of the above mentioned instruments is considered in the aspect of practical use and analyzed upon existing in the world examples. Thus, among the instruments for the introduction of circular economy, the author highlights: Design of thinking of the future; Virtualization and sharing; Product as a service; Reuse in production; Reuse in consumption; Industrial symbiousness and processing of production waste; Recycling. Special attention in the article is given to the problems of introducing circular economy in Ukraine and ways to solve them. Thus, the research has consistently revealed the problems and ways to solve them at the level of government, business, and society.

Purpose. To analyze the flows of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Ukraine, countries of the OECD, the G-20, the EU, and the World, as well as the impact of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic on investment activity in the World; to identify problems and threats for investment activity in modern conditions, to identify relationship between FDI in Ukraine, the level of exports and imports of goods and services in Ukraine, to forecast these indicators. Methodology. In the process of research, general logical methods and research techniques were applied: analysis, synthesis, generalization, analogy, modeling, probabilistic (statistical) methods. The materials of the official analytical reports of the OECD, the European Commission, and the State Statistics Service of Ukraine were used to achieve the tasks of the investigation. The statistical data for the period 20112019 was analyzed. Forecast of foreign direct investment in Ukraine for the period 20202023 was implemented using the theory of Markov chains. Findings. The study indicates a significant decline in investment activity since the beginning of 2020 due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Almost all economies in the world witnessed the impact of the crisis. There was a drop in investment activity in Ukraine output flows tended to decrease during 20092019. Taking into account the stochasticity of the processes taking place in the world economy, on the basis of the theory of Markov chains, forecasting of FDI in Ukraine was carried out. The modeling showed that in 2023 the situation with FDI in Ukraine would stabilize. Taking into account the predicted scenarios, the authors suggested that enterprises must focus on domestic investment and government support to overcome the crisis in the economy caused by the situation with COVID-19. Originality. The scientific novelty is in the use of the theory of Markov chains, which was adapted by the authors for research and forecasting of FDI in Ukraine till 2023. This theory makes it possible to take into account the stochasticity and instability of the processes occurring in the global and national economies. Practical value. The analysis of incoming and outcoming FDI flows and the identified threats to investment activity makes it possible to assess the dynamics of world economic processes and global competitiveness in the period 20112020. Using the tools of economic and mathematical analysis based on the regression influence, the degree of influence of direct investments in Ukraine on the dynamics of the GDP of the national economy and the level of exports and imports of goods were investigated. The forecasting of the dynamics of direct investments in Ukraine in the near future was carried out using the theory of Markov chains, which will allow working out appropriate decisions on the strategic development of the state.

Since the onset of the current crisis, numerous intergovernmental organizations made declarations and plans, but only national packages were implemented to minimize adverse effects to real (national) economies. Despite the fact that capital markets have long ago become increasingly complex with a multitude of actors, a state-level approach remains firmly in place. This paper aims to present political responses to the crisis, identifying how politicians envision the future of capital markets and the world economy. The financial crisis might have been a direct motive to start a global political interplay regarding regulation, but it was also a unique opportunity for numerous actors to start pressing for their own agenda vis-?-vis the global economic and political order. Reviewing the responses of several of the most prominent actors on the scene may contribute to understanding how close the world is to having a new financial - or even economic - structure on the global level.

Background: The digitalisation of the world economy as a means of improving the quality of human life is becoming increasingly important. The essence of the digital economy is multifaceted and insufficiently studied, in particular, the concept of “digital economy” needs to be clarified, the principles for digitalisation of the economy for specific countries and ways to implement them need justification. Purpose: To explore the current trends for digitalisation of the world economy and on this basis to develop principles and ways to implement them at the state level. Materials and Methods: A set of theoretical methods was used: analysis of academic literature, current normative documents and draft legislative acts, as well as synthesis, comparison, generalization, systematization to define and substantiate the guiding principles for digitalisation of the economy and ways to implement them in Ukraine. Results: Current trends in the digitalisation of the world economy were studied. The essence of the concept of “digital economy” was clarified. We propose to understand the digital economy as a type of economic activity in the system of socio-behavioral and cultural relations with the use of digital technologies, characterized by the creation, collection, processing, storage, transfer and use of digitized resources. The guiding principles for digitalisation of the economy were justified: integrity, phasing, leading, innovation, adaptability, simplicity (accessibility). Ways of implementation were developed for each principle. They contain answers to key questions: what needs to be done? how to stimulate? what support should be provided by the state? Conclusions: This paper reveals the current trends of digitalisation of the world economy and provides responsible persons, who determine the country policy, the guiding principles for defining and implementing digitalisation strategies in the most appropriate sectors of the economy at the state level

The article is devoted to the analysis of the main factors of innovative spatial development that affect the economy of Russia and the world. The purpose of the article is to identify trends in Russia’s innovative development and “new” aspirants for world innovative leadership. Analysis of differences in the state of spatial innovation development, including the identification of features and factors of influence on the economy, has made it possible to note the limitations of existing approaches for assessing the innovative development of countries, including Russia, and to propose an authorial approach to the formation of a model of the interconnection of modern markets. The author’s idea of the model of innovative development in the system of economic development of the country is presented in the form of a conceptual model for the formation of an innovative landscape in which a qualitative aspect of management plays a special role: defining the requirements for the innovative character of development management, using new ideas, technologies and management methods at the state level. The study of the new innovative landscape of Russia and other countries of the world, as a result of the assessment of spatial innovation development, suggests the definition of new solutions in the field of innovative development at the regional and world level.
