This study is going to know what cooperative script method can increase students’ English skill on Islamic economic law especially in past tense material. This study used class action research and the data of collecting used pre test and post test. The population in this study was 60 students in first semester, Students’ Islamic economic law, State College of Islamic studies (STAIN) Mandailing Natal and used random sampling technique as sample, there were 30 students as sample. The analysis data used average score. The result of this study shows that cooperative give good significant in learning English especially in past tense material in first semester, Students’ Islamic economic law, State College of Islamic studies (STAIN) Mandailing Natal

This study is class action research conducted at class A of 9th grade in SMPN 1 Prambon, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Based on preliminary study, students still found some difficulties to solve the problem about Electrical  Series. This was proven from their average score of test on this topic that is 73,19, which is still lower than KKM score that is 76. This research aimed to analyze the effect of using PENCILS media on increasing students’ understanding about Electrial Series topic. PENCILS media is software application in computer. The analysis result in the first cycle, from 36 students, 21 of them had score lower than KKM. In the second cycle, learning process used PENCILS as learning media to facilitate students’ difficulty. The result of analysis data in the second cylce showed that only 6 students had score lower than KKM and the average score of test was 77,37. The third cycle was conducted to ensure that the score obtained is stable. Based on the result of data analysis in the last cycle indicated that only 3 students had score lower than KKM and the average score of test was 78,75. In conclusion, the PENCILS media can be effectively used to improve students’ understanding on the topic of Electrical Series.

Reading is one of important language competent for developed because written language as object of reading which didn’t know about time and place. Reading activity didn’t just express of sound syimbols in the text, but comprehend of good text. That one of weakness of student in first semester State for Islamic Studies Miftahul Ulum Pamekasan which must be improved with look for good method. One of method which was bilieved as appropriate method was reading method. With this method was hoped be able to improve student in reading arabic texts, so that was needed to do the research about increase of reading competent with used  reading method. The purpose of this research was for to know, how used reading method in improve student’s reading competent about arabic text for comprehension aspect which includes; comprehend of meaning text, main idea of paragraph and implied meaning from all texst.القراءة هي واحدة من اللغات الهامة المؤهلة لتطويرها لأن اللغة المكتوبة هي موضوع القراءة التي لا تعرف عن الزمان والمكان. لم يقتصر نشاط القراءة على التعبير عن المقاطع الصوتية السليمة في النص فحسب ، بل فهم أيضًا النصوص الجيدة. تلك نقطة ضعف الطالب في المستوى الأول بقسم الدراسات الإسلامية بجامعة مفتاح العلوم باميكسان التي يجب تحسينها مع البحث عن طريقة جيدة. وتلك الطريقة هي طريقة القراءة. مع هذا الأسلوب كان من المأمول أن يكون قادرا على تحسين الطالب في قراءة النصوص العربية، لذلك كان ضروريًا لإجراء بحث حول زيادة القراءة المختصة بطرائق القراءة المستخدمة. الغرض من هذا البحث هو معرفة كيفية استخدام أسلوب القراءة في تحسين قراءة الطالب المختص حول النص العربي لوجه الفهم والذي يتضمن: فهم معنى النص ، والفكرة الرئيسية للفقرة والمعنى أو المضمون من جميع النصوص.

This study intends to describe the used of drill techniques can improve understanding and the ability of students to use Simple present and past tense. This research can be classified into quasi-experimental research using the pre-test and post-test design. The research was conducted at the beginning of semester in 2018/2019 academic in year in the first semester, class A amounted to 45 students as the experimental class and class B which amounted to 45 students as a control class. The data were collected through a test. The result showed that the use of drill techniques has been able improve student competence and English performance. The average score of the post test (74) is higher than the pre-test(51.92), and the percentage of student whose grades are 71-100 is 100% while in the pre-test only 18,51%. The researcher came to the conclusion that it was proven, drill techniques can be used as a technique in teaching English to improve the competence and performance of English language students. The objective of this research is to find out whether the application Preview, Read, Write, and Recite (PRWR) method improve student’s achievement in reading recount text. This research applied classroom action research model. This study was done in six meetings. The subject of this study was first year of SMAN 1 Delitua. Primary data were collected by giving 20 questions of multiple-choice test, the aspects contained in the tests focused on generic structure, main ideas, factual information, and Secondary data were collected by (interview, observation sheet, and questionnaire sheet. Based on analysis data, it was found that the student’s achievement improved. It could be seen from the comparison of result in the orientation test and the cycle test I and II. There were only 9 students who had passed minimum criteria KKM in orientation test (75). The improvement showed that in cycle I and II, based on the total average score it was 16 (42,4%) up to 26 (78,7%) in cycle II, The secondary data gathered from interview, observation sheet, and questionnaire sheet, showed that students’ expression and enthusiastic also improved. Thus, it was found that the applications of Preview, Read, Write, and Recite (PRWR) method in process of teaching improved students’ achievement in reading recount text. It is suggested that English teachers apply PRWR method in teaching reading recount text. This study aims at describing teachers’ pedagogical competence in teaching Islamic Studies in accordancewith the 2013 curriculum on the PLPG activities of FITK of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.Determination of the research subject used purposive sampling technique. The data collection wasdone by the methods of documentation, observation and interviews. While data analysis used the stagesof data reduction, data display, and data verification. The research results show that: (1). Teachers’achievement of pedagogical competence in teaching in accordance with 2013 curriculum in the PLPGactivities reached the average score of 71 percent, or in the category of fairly good. (2). Factors inhibitingthe mastery of competencies are, among others, the short PLPG duration, lack of adequate training on2013 curriculum by the government, and the unavailability of instructional media of LCD projectorsin schools, and the lack of KKG and MGMP guidance. (3). The necessary solutions are, among others,continuous teaching profession development programs, especially on learning strategies, utilization ofinformation technology, and education of teaching profession (PPG) in occupation.Keywords: Pedagogical Competence, Islamic Studies Teaching, 2013 Curriculum.

In this collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR), the researcher tried to overcome the problem of writing narrative text facing by the eighth-grade students in Junior High School, especially in getting and composing the ideas. The question of this research was ‘Can Picture Series improve the students’ ability in writing the narrative text?’ This class action research was divided into two cycles. Every cycle was divided into four stages, including (1) planning, (2) implementing, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting and it was focussed on the students’  ability in  writing  narrative  text by  getting idea from a picture and developing the idea with the guidance from a series of pictures. The samples were 20 students of SMP Negeri 03 Sindang Kelingi, Curup, and Rejang Lebong. The data which were got from the students’ achievement in the cycle I and cycle II were analyzed by using quantitative analysis data technique. From the analysis, the writer founded that in the cycle I, students gain the average score 61,35 and in the cycle II the average score was 84,50.It is suggested for the Junior High School English teachers to apply this technique increase their students’ ability in writing the narrative

Adolescents are currently in the midst of technological sophistication, which is very helpful for its development. On the other hand, many adolescents are trapped in the problem of technology addiction. Adolescents are the most age group who experience problems with the use of technology, including online games. Online game addiction is the loss of control over the use of online games, which makes other daily activities are disrupted. Online game addiction in adolescents have an impact on several aspects of life, such as health aspects, psychological aspects, academic aspects, social aspects, and financial aspects. Lack of understanding about the risks of online game addiction can get adolescent stuck in online game addiction. This research aims to describe high school students understanding about the risks of online game addiction. The sample consisted of 255 high school students selected by proportional random sampling technique. Data was collected using a scale measuring understanding of the risks of online game addiction. Data analysis used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The results showed that high school students understanding about the risks of online game addiction was included in the moderate category with an average score of 198,48 and an achievement score level of 55,14%. Therefore, school counselors must to improve high school students understanding of the risks of online game addiction.

This study seeks to understand the pragmatism of the development of sharia economic law, and its implications for Islamic financial products in Indonesia. The data comes from the results of interviews and focus group discussions with key informants from academics, practitioners, authorities, and the public. This research finds that pragmatism in the development of Islamic economic law is an approach that still dominates the DSN-MUI fatwas. The pragmatism style used is complex-eclectic pragmatism which is represented through makhārij al-fiqhiyyah, which is to choose a mild opinion by sticking to the strongest method or also called "taysīr al-manhajī". The use of this method is intended to ensure that the fatwa is truly able to answer the needs of the business world, as well as being in line with sharia principles. DSN-MUI also does not use maslahah as a legal consideration in a free or liberal way. Rather, it returns maslahah in consideration of the method, so that it is permissible to use the bay’ al-'inān contract only in a forced state (ḍarurah).

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji proses pembelajaran matematika danmenganalisis peningkatan prestasi belajar melalui permainan mistar bilangan. Metodepenelitian yang digunakanadalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Temengeng Kabupaten Blorapada semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Teknikanalisis yang digunakandeskriptifkomparatif, yaitu membandingkan data hasil antara prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Hasilpenelitian yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran matematikadengan menggunakan permainan mistar bilangan sangat menyenangkan siswa, sehinggaaktivitas pembelajaran meningkat dari 62,5 menjadi 84,5. Hasil belajar siswa juga meningkatditandai hasil siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas 60,48 dan ketuntasan mencapai 57,10%. Siklus IInilai rata-rata kelas 75,24 dan ketuntasan 85,70%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaranmatematika tentang penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat melalui permainan mistarbilangan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar menunjukkan semuasiswa berminat dalam melaksanakan tugas dan memperoleh pengalaman yang menyenangkandalam permainan mistar bilangan. Abstract:The purpose of this research is to study the learningprocess ofmath and analyseincreasing of learning achievement through rulernumbers game. The method usedin thisresearch is class action which is done in2 cycles. The subject of the research are fourth gradestudents of Number 2 PublicElementary Schoolat Temengeng, Blora district in second semesterof the school year 2014/2015. The analysetechnicusedby comparingthe data from precycle,first cycle and second cycle. The results of the research that is done two cycles indicate thatmath learning process by using ruler numbers game can make the students feel pleased sothatlearning activities increase from 62.5 to 84.5. The results of student learning alsoincrease,it can be showed from the average score of the first cycle is 60.48 and the completeness scorereaches57.1%. The average score of thesecond cycle is 75.24 and the completeness scorereaches 85.7%. The conclusion of the research ismath learning about addition and deductionof integer through ruler numbers game can improve learning activity and the results of studentlearning show that all students are interested to obtain the task and get moreenjoyableexperience in using rulernumbers game.
