Nowadays, in the face of the breakdown of established social, ideological, economic and political relations, the family is, in essence, the only self-regulating structural unit. It, to a certain extent, models and reproduces practically all spheres of life, social relations and functions of society, is a natural social form of preservation, processing and transmission of original ethno-cultural information, embodied in family culture, national archetype, ritual and folklore. The family shapes the inner world of the individual, determines the structure of his perception.

The family is the main social institution that carries out spiritual, cultural, personal, physiological development of the individual. Global changes in recent years have led to the emergence of a family crisis, which has an impact on the institution of the family, family and marriage relations and causes public concern. The transformation of the Kazakhstan Family Institute has contributed to the emergence of negative trends, in addition to traditional types of family relations. One of them is an increase in the number of single- parent families consisting of single mothers.

Family research aims to explore family processes, but is often limited to the examination of unidirectional processes. As the behavior of one person has consequences that go beyond that one individual, Family functioning should be investigated in its full complexity. The Social Relations Model (SRM; Kenny & La Voie, 1984) is a conceptual and analytical model which can disentangle family data from a round-robin design at three different levels: the individual level (actor and partner effects), the dyadic level (relationship effects) and the family level (family effect). Its statistical complexity may however be a hurdle for family researchers. The user-friendly R package fSRM performs almost automatically those rather complex SRM analyses and introduces new possibilities for assessing differences between SRM-means and between SRM-variances, both within and between groups of families. Using family data on negative processes, different type of research questions are formulated and corresponding analyses with fSRM are presented.

The paper analyzes the genesis of modern political humor and determines its position in the system of spiritual relations in society. The formation of the need to comprehend social relations by means of humor during progressive transition from traditional to modern society is investigated. We note that humor is essentially a social phenomenon. A fundamental distinction between humor formed in the modern period and humor of previous times is the presence of reflexivity. New kind of humor has also dealt with political relations began to be interpreted by means of humor culture. In the course of research we found that comic interpretation of politics became feasible due to the legislative fixation of individual rights as a part of modern political culture. The emancipated personality demonstrates more complicated expectations to a political institute and experiences acute dissatisfaction as state authorities have often made decisions not appropriate to such expectations. For the individual as sovereign entity political humor became a sort of social and psychological compensation. An author pays attention to the fact that the social subject having shown such a reaction was formed during the second half of XIX and the beginning of XX centuries because of the dissemination of the print media and was named «the audience». The audience became a key agent of humorous reflection about the political institute. As a case that grounds the applicability of this theory to the practice the paper considers the example of inclusion of specific comic genre (political caricature) in the social discourse in the West and in Russia.

Interest in studying the status of the Kyrgyz family at the present stage is caused by the unstable situation in society. The socio-economic crisis of the Kyrgyz society, which led to market relations, unemployment, migration and poverty, affected the needs of family members. The mobilization of the family's internal capabilities for survival in a crisis, the preference for material well-being to spiritual values have become the main factors in reducing the value of the family and weakening the status of parenthood. Changes in traditional family values caused social risks that negatively affected the quality of socialization of the individual, the integrity of the family, the structure of family and marriage relations, the status of the family, which led to the dysfunctionality of the institution of the Kyrgyz family. The family is the only historically determined and stable institution of Kyrgyz society that can withstand the destructive and destabilizing situations of society. This requires purposeful strengthening of the social potential of the family, parents, youth and effective family policy of the state.

Human and social vulnerability in the face of the pandemic once again raises the question of knowledge and of the two key dimensions of the individual (rationality and responsibility) framed in the various relationships they establish (with nature, with other individuals, with state institutions etc.). These become relationships of knowledge and awareness concerning the facts and laws of social-state organization. Being aware that the pandemic crisis left its mark on all areas of life, changing the nature of human relations, affecting the benchmarks of values, and requiring a review of the foundations of social organization, we believe it necessary to assess the current situation through a systemic approach aimed at identifying the benchmarks of the balance between individuality and sociality. Thanks to the assessment of the interdependencies between the individual and the social, the following objectives were addressed: to define the changes caused by the pandemic and analyze the social processes; to validate the decisions taken by the authorities from a logical, praxeological and axiological point of view; to emphasize the importance of norms and principles in the social organization; to determine the role of social actors in overcoming the crisis, and to assess how social relations have evolved under pandemic conditions. Therefore, the present article, applying an interdisciplinary methodology to the pandemic crisis, aims to evaluate, understand and raise awareness of the situation and its impact on the social and human situation, where solidarity, rationality, and human responsibility are being reassessed.

This article interprets the Christian discourse of purity of heart in the context of the importance of care as a hermeneutic method. The key aspects of this discourse have been identified and studied in the doctrine of purity of heart in connection with the question of caring for the dignity of the individual as an image and likeness of God. The main functions of the heart as an essential factor in the constitution of the inner world of the individual and its intentional directions are identified and analyzed. The main focus of this study is on the Christian doctrine of purity of heart in the face of a situation of spiritual impurity that defiles the honor and dignity of the individual. It is proved that the opposition of purity / impurity is not limited to the ethical dimension, it contains in its content a metaphysical discourse, which indicates a sharp contradiction between the ideal of the integrity of the individual and its phenomenal manifestation in a state of splitting. The concern for the constitution of the ideal personality is traced through the actualization of spiritual acts of purification from attachment to worldly values (aspect of spiritual freedom), filling the inner world of the individual with divine values (aspect of axiological acquisition) and protecting the inner world from spiritual impurity (aspect of spiritual control). The study of the Christian doctrine of purity of heart is made taking into account the understanding of its content and mechanisms of construction. Its basis is determined by an organic combination of theistic and personalist discourses. The complex picture of the interweaving of various discursive mechanisms is reconstructed and the role of metaphysical, ethical, aesthetic, ascetic approaches in the conceptualization of the doctrine of purity of heart is analyzed. Concern for the purity of the heart is assessed as an essential condition and means of personalization, which affirms the values of spiritual freedom (from the state of impurity of the inner world of man) and transcendence as the elevation of personality in the direction of divine-spiritual orientation.
