Community service activities are one of the TRI DHARMA university’s obligations. On this occasion, it was reported that community service activities needed improvement in the health sector. The location of this activity is in Pangambatan Village, Kecamatan Merek, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara and this activity is planned to begin in April until September 2019. The problem in the field is to increase the flow of tourists to Kecamatan Merek to make the need for adequate toilet facilities (MCK). Besides that, it was also found that the community's need for clean water and toilets were used daily by the community. The solution offered is to renovate the MCK facilities for the daily needs of the community and in addition to the toilet facilities for tourists who visit to the village. It is hoped that through this activity the problems in the local community can be overcome.

<p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong>Abstract.</strong> <em>The objective of this service is the first to empower tourism Embung Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang through the concept of ecotourism with an environmental approach. The second objective is to contribute positively to the existence of ecotourism empowerment with the environment approach in Embung Patemon, so that it can provide more value not only to the welfare of the local community, but also to environmental sustainability. The method of implementing community service activities in the form of empowerment and development of ecotourism for Embung Patemon with environmental approaches is carried out with training that produces skills, lecture methods, question and answer, discussion, simulation and mentoring. The results of community service activities that have been carried out are (1) The potentialof the village mapping and coordination activities, (2) identification of the potential of tourism in Embung Patemon as a basis for implementing ecotourism programs, (3) development of the potential tourism of Embung Patemon. The next stage of the plan is training in tourism marketing, evaluation of service programs, preparation of final service reports, and preparation and publication of articles / manuscripts to accredited national journals.</em></p><br /><p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong>Abstrak.</strong> Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini yang pertama adalah untuk memberdayakan wisata Embung Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang melalui konsep ekowisata dengan pendekatan lingkungan. Tujuan kedua adalah memberikan kontribusi positif dari adanya pemberdayaan ekowisata dengan pendekatan lingkungandi Embung Patemon, sehingga mampu memberikan nilai lebih tidak hanya pada kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal, tetapi juga pada kelestarian lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pemberdayaan dan pengembangan ekowisata Embung Patemon dengan pendekatan lingkungandilakukan dengan pelatihan yang menghasilkan keterampilan, metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, simulasi serta pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang telah terlaksana adalah (1) kegiatan kordinasi dan pemetaan potensi kelurahan, (2) identifikasi potensi wisata di Embung Patemon sebagai dasar dalam pelaksanaan program ekowisata, (3) pengembangan potensi wisata Embung Patemon. Rencana tahapan berikutnya adalah pelatihan pemasaran wisata, evaluasi program pengabdian, penyusunan laporan akhir pengabdian, serta penyusunan dan publikasi artikel/ manuskrip ke jurnal nasional terakreditasi.</p>

The specific objectives and targets of these community service activities are to provide counseling on the rejuvenation of oil palm and the legality of farmers' land so that there is a change in the knowledge, understanding and skills of farmers who are members of farmer groups in an effort to want to rejuvenate oil palm plants and to provide an understanding of the importance of legality Farmer's land as an inseparable part of the structure of the requirements in order to get financial assistance to rejuvenate oil palm plants. The methods used are counseling, outreach, demonstration and assistance when the extension activities take place. Counseling methods provide counseling and conduct training after counseling. The demonstration method is carried out at the time of delivery of material. Farmers immediately practiced how to rejuvenate oil palm plants, after that they were given counseling about the ways and functions of farmers' land legality and farmer group institutions in order to get funds in groups. The assistance method aims to monitor developments after counseling to farmers by involving agents of change, namely community leaders, traditional leaders, the village government and banking institutions. In general, the implementation of community service in Kerta Jaya and Tassel Jaya villages, Kempas Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency can run well and well..

ABSTRACTThe hijab sewing skills training program is seen as a strategic educational skill to be implemented for women because hijab sewing can be applied for their own needs or become a side business. This skill, if properly trained and mastered, can become a form of business that can help the family economy and create jobs for the community. The village community service activities were carried out in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit Subdistrict, Siak Regency, Riau Province with the target audience is the housewives of the village. They have given basic knowledge in choosing materials for the hijab. Then skills trained was held, starting how to make pet and headscarves, cutting fabrics according to the patterns that have been made, and sewing headscarves with various existing patterns. After the stitches are finished, then an examination of the results of the stitches so that they are suitable for sale and market. Keywords: Bunsur Village, home industry, sewing training, hijab  ABSTRAKProgram pelatihan keterampilan menjahit jilbab dipandang sebagai sebuah skill pendidikan yang strategis untuk dilaksanakan bagi wanita karena menjahit jilbab dapat diaplikasikan untuk kebutuhan sendiri ataupun menjadi usaha sampingan. Keterampilan ini bila dilatih dan dikuasai dengan baik dapat menjadi bentuk usaha yang dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga dan penciptaan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bunsur Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak Propinsi Riau dengan khalayak sasarannya adalah Ibu-ibu rumah tangga desa tersebut. Mereka diberi pengetahuan dasar dalam memilih bahan untuk jilbab. Kemudian diadakan pelatihan keterampilan, mulai cara membuat pola pet dan jilbab, memotong kain sesuai dengan pola yang sudah dibuat, dan menjahit jilbab dengan bermacam pola yang telah ada. Abstrak   Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui bentuk kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pengolahan sampah di Desa Tempursari, Kecamatan Tempursari, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur pada tanggal 12-17 Juli 2017.  Permasalahan sampah menjadi permasalahan yang belakangan sangat banyak dikeluhkan oleh masyarakat secara khusus di desa Tempursari. Kerjasama yang solid antara semua stakeholder diharapkan dalam penanganan dan pemecahan permasalahan sampah ini, seperti yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Tempursari dengan kehadiran Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) yang menjadi fasilitator dalam penanganan sampah di desa Tempursari. Dalam rangka mengembangkan program yang sudah disusun dan akan dijalankan, GKJW bekersama dengan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta dalam beberapa hal terkait pengolahan sampah tersebut, di antaranya mensosialisasikan pemahaman tentang sampah (jenis dan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan), bagaimana mengolah sampah sesuai dengan jenisnya dan membantu mengoperasikan mesin pencacah sampah plastik dan sampah organik lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dinilai memberikan dampak positif, di mana mesin pencacah yang tadinya sudah lama tidak berfungsi menjadi beroperasi dengan operator yang yang sudah mahir atau fasih, masyarakat mampu memilah sampah dimulai dari tia-tiap rumah tangga sebelum selanjutnya diserahkan ke tim pengolah yang sudah ditunjuk oleh gereja. Akhirnya setelah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bersama dengan GKJW Tempursari, maka program pelayanan masyarakat melalui pengolahan sampah oleh GKJW Tempursari mulai berjalan lancar.   Kata Kunci: sampah organik, mesin pencacah   Abstract The community service activities were carried out through the form of socialization and training activities on waste management in Tempursari Village, Tempursari District, Lumajang Regency, East Java. The problem of garbage has become a very recent problem that is very much complained by the community specifically in the village of Tempursari. Solid cooperation between all stakeholders is expected in handling and solving these waste problems, as has been done by the people of Desa Tempursari with the presence of the Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) who became a facilitator in handling waste in the village of Tempursari. In order to develop a program that has been compiled and will be implemented, GKJW cooperates with the Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta in several matters related to waste management, including socializing understanding of waste (types and impacts), how to process waste according to its type and helping operate plastic waste chopping machines and other organic waste. The results of community service activities are considered to have a positive impact, where the enumerating machines that have not been functioning for a long time become operational with operators who are already proficient or fluent, the community is able to sort waste starting from each household before being submitted to the processing team who has been appointed by the church. Finally after the community service activities together with GKJW Tempursari, the community service program through processing waste by GKJW Tempursari began to run smoothly.   Keywords: organic waste, chopping machine

Community empowerment is one of the keys to the success of a village to prosper the lives of its people, with the potential of existing villages, where the community can develop ideas, creations of superior products in the village that generate entrepreneurial spirit in accordance with the provisions given by the government for village development. Padamatang Pasawahan Kuningan village is one of the villages that has a lot of natural resource potential that can be managed and developed into a superior product from the village including Processed Tempe and Emping (Melinjo). The method for carrying out this activity through several stages, namely the stages of preparation, socialization, training, and assistance. In the village of Sanur Kauh there is a group of fishermen who are currently still operating but have constraints from the processing of group activities carried out, so that this group of fishermen really hope for guidance from universities. Results of observations made by the PKM team from Ngurah Rai University, the fishermen group was very need help to solve the problems they are facing. Fishing group This is the “Ketapang Kembar Fisherman Group” located in Sanur Kauh. Village South Denpasar District, Denpasar City. The problems faced have caused a decrease in the income level of the fishermen coupled with the Covid-19 pandemic condition which also has an impact on decrease in people's purchasing power. These problems will be resolved later with some solutions that will be provided from Ngurah Rai University as an institution education that carries out community service activities. One solution that will given, namely the socialization of processing catches into other products that can be sold to the community and socialization of cooperation to other parties in order to improve income from fishermen.

ABSTRACTOlele Village is one of the villages located in Bone Bolango Regency and is included in the Coastal Region. Most Olele villagers have livelihoods as fishermen, so most Olele village women are fishermen's wives. The purpose of community service activities carried out in Olele village is to increase community income through empowering coastal women. The method used consists of two forms, namely counseling and training. Coastal women who were participants in service activities were 30 fishermen wives. The material provided in counseling is about the types of diversification of processed products and fisheries processing techniques. Training is provided through hands-on practice and assistance during service activities. The products produced are fish fingers, dragon foot fish, jelly, pudding, and crackers which will be sold to increase community income especially for fishermen's wives. The results of community service activities carried out in the village of Olele are increased knowledge and skills diversification of processed fisheries products for fishermen wives who have received service activities. Community service activities also provide increased income for the community through the sale of various processed fishery products. Keywords:  Fish Finger, Foot Dragon Fish, Jelly Candy, Pudding, and Fish Crackers.  ABSTRAKDesa olele merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Bone Bolango dan termasuk wilayah pesisir. Penduduk desa Olele sebagian besar memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai nelayan, sehingga sebagian besar perempuan desa Olele merupakan istri nelayan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan di desa Olele yaitu untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan perempuan pesisir. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari dua bentuk yaitu penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Perempuan pesisir yang dijadikan peserta pada kegiatan pengabdian adalah istri-istri nelayan sebanyak 30 orang. Materi yang diberikan pada penyuluhan yaitu tentang jenis diversifikasi produk olahan dan teknik pengolahan hasil perikanan. Pelatihan diberikan dengan cara praktek langsung dan pendampingan selama kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah fish finger, foot dragon fish, permen jell,  puding, dan kerupuk yang akan dijual untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat khususnya bagi istri-istri nelayan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan di desa Olele yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang diversifikasi produk olahan perikanan bagi istri-istri nelayan yang telah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian. Kegiatan pengabdian juga memberikan dampak bagi peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat melalui penjualan diversifikasi produk olahan perikanan.  Kata Kunci: Kaki Naga, Kerupuk, Nugget, Permen dan Puding.

The purpose of this report is to provide an overview of the preparation and implementation of Community Service activities at the Bali Institute of Design and Business in making murals at the Astagina Padangsambian Klod Denpasar field. The benefit of this report is that it provides an overview of the process of preparing and working on a mural as a form of cultural re-interpretation which also supports the vision and mission of Denpasar City as a cultural-minded creative city. The method used in the process and work of this Community Service is to prepare designs inspired by Balinese culture such as kite, congklak, tajog, Barong dance, etc. which are then visualized through a mural with a flat design with attractive colors. The results of the Community Service activities through the reinterpretation of Balinese culture on the mural at Astagina Field, Padangsambian Klod, give a new color to the Astagina field walls as well as provide cultural education to the local community and the general public.

Empowerment have keeping the River Health  by using the Float Trash Can in Tanjung Seteko Village Indralaya sub distric Ogany Ilir Regency.  Provide alternative solutions that could be applied in order to overcome the bad habits people taking out the trash into the river. Maintenance of order and cleanliness of the river tributaries in the village of Tanjung Seteko Indralaya District . This activities are expected to provide tangible benefits to the target audience , as: 1 ) . Society has a floating trash . 2 ) . Society will be protected from various diseases caused by waste dumped into the river . The Community Service activities consciousness will arise to always maintain the cleanliness of the river , Trash Floating  is one of the main of the solution in addressing the problems of waste in the water , floating trash can is a design environment technology in the form of floating garbage which is applied through simple methods and technologies to optimize the role of communities around the river in South Indralaya to get used to dispose of waste in place and eliminate bad habits not to throw garbage into the river.

AbstrakPengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mendampingi Kelompok Sadar Wisata yang berada di Belawan Sicanang untuk mendukung penyebaran informasi dan promosi keberadaan Ekowisata Mangrove Belawan Sicanang sebagai upaya peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat setempat. Metode pendampingan yang dilakukan dengan memberikan bantuan secara langsung papan informasi memperkenalkan keberadaan Ekowisata Mangrove, memasang panduan arah menuju kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove, memasangkan atribut edukasi pada kawasan ekowisata dan pelaksanaan pelatihan yaitu: pelatihan manajemen ekowisata, pelatihan pembuatan media sosial sebagai media promosi ekowisata berbasis Teknologi Informasi (TI) kepada kelompok penggiat ekowisata di Belawan Sicanang. Dari hasil penilaian terhadap motivasi mitra dalam mengembangkan Ekowisata Mangrove sebelum dan setelah kegiatan dilaksanakan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 15,6%, (sebelumnya sebesar 50%). Respon pengunjung terhadap pemasangan media promosi dan publikasi melalui media sosial lebih dari 60%. Dari data pengunjung yang diperoleh sejak diberikannya papan informasi dan penunjuk arah keberadaan Ekowisata Mangrove terjadi perubahan jumlah pengunjung yang datang dan beberapa lembaga bekerjasama untuk melakukan edukasi. Selama 4 Bulan melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di peroleh jumlah pengunjung mengalami pertambahan sebesar 10%–20% dan mempengaruhi pertambahan pendapatan dari aktifitas wisata sebesar 10%-20% dari pendapatan sebelumnya. Selanjutnya 82% anggota kelompok menyatakan bahwa pendampingan yang berkelanjutan akan memberikan peluang untuk membangun perekonomian masyarakat disekitar kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Belawan Sicanang.Kata kunci: Ekowisata Mangrove Belawan Sicanang, informasi, promosi ekowsiataAbstractThis community service aims to assist the Tourism Awareness Group in Belawan Sicanang to support the dissemination of information and promotion of the existence of the Belawan Sicanang Mangrove Ecotourism as an effort to improve the economy of the local community. The mentoring method that was carried out by providing direct assistance to the information board introduced the existence of Mangrove Ecotourism, installed direction guides to the Mangrove Ecotourism area, paired the attributes of education in the ecotourism area and carried out training namely ecotourism management training, training on making social media as information technology-based ecotourism promotion media (TI) to ecotourism groups in Belawan Sicanang. From the results of the assessment of partner motivation in developing Mangrove Ecotourism before and after the activities carried out an increase of 15.6% (previously 50%). The visitor's response to the installation of promotional media and publications through social media is more than 60%. From the visitor data obtained since the information board was given and a guide to the existence of Mangrove Ecotourism there was a change in the number of visitors who came and several institutions collaborated to educate. During the 4 months of community service activities, the number of visitors experienced an increase of 10% -20% and affected the increase in income from tourism activities by 10% -20% of the previous income. Furthermore, 82% of group members stated that ongoing assistance would provide an opportunity to develop the economy of the community around the Belawan Sicanang Mangrove Ecotourism area.Keywords: Belawan Sicanang Mangrove Ecotourism, information, eco-tourism promotion
