When, after a violent incident, strong emotional bonds are established in order to connect two people, there is the installation of a trauma called by the literature as bonding trauma. It is an emotional dependence between two people, in a relationship characterized by periods of abuse, violence and power imbalance, with bonds of intense connection, cognitive distortion and behavioral strategies of both individuals that paradoxically strengthen and maintain the bond, which is reflected in the vicious cycle of violence. However, there is a lack of literature and scientific research on the subject in Brazil, which highlights the need for a refined and in-depth study, since the causes and effects of bonding trauma are still not exactly clear, which makes the understanding and treatment of individuals, as well as their recovery, a slow and painful process. Thus, this research is guided by the question: what is bonding trauma and what are its mechanisms? Thus, it was defined as the general objective to analyze bonding trauma in loving relationships, in order to give birth to the neuropsychobiological processes of trauma generated in intimate relationships and to investigate the reasons why victims remain in pathological relationships, we will also address the functioning of Stockholm Syndrome and posttraumatic stress in victims of abuse in loving relationships as factors that generate bonding trauma. For contextualization, problematization and validation of the theoretical framework used in the research undertaken, the methodology used was the literature review or bibliographic review, from the reading, selection and analysis of texts of different genres, such as records, reviews and scientific articles related to the subject and which were published in journals and newspapers in the area. It was concluded that several emotional and neuropsychobiological factors are the cause for bonding trauma to be established within a relationship.

Laws governing adolescent sexuality are incoherent and chaotically enforced, and legal scholarship on the subject neither addresses nor remedies adolescents’ vulnerability in sexual encounters. To posit a meaningful relationship between the criminal law and adolescent sexual encounters, one must examine what we know about adolescent sexuality from both the academic literature and the adults who control the criminal justice response to such interactions. This article presents an in-depth study of In re John Z., a 2003 rape prosecution involving two seventeen-year-olds. Using this case, I explore the implications of the prosecution by interviewing a variety of experts and analyzing the contemporary literature on sexual norms among youth. I also relate a series of interviews conducted with the major players in the prosecution. Examining this case from a variety of perspectives permits a deeper understanding of how the law regulates adolescent sexual encounters and why it fails.

While the role of citizens in smart cities is hotly debated, there is a dearth of empirical research on the subject. This in-depth study of a European city, selected for its typical smart city ambitions, explores the roles that citizens actually play in smart city projects. The study examines twelve initiatives in the City of Utrecht (NL) using a framework that differentiates between types of citizen participation. The findings show that technology-enabled citizen participation in Utrecht is highly diverse and embraces all types of participation rather than simply taking the form of either “citizen empowerment” (as the advocates argue) or “citizen subjugation' (as the critics stress). The diversity found in the study highlights the need to conceptualize the role of the smart citizen at the micro (project) level rather than at the level of the city as a whole. The study shows that citizen participation in the smart city should not be understood as a technological utopia or dystopia but as an evolving, technologically mediated practice that is shaped by a variety of factors.

Several approaches to the interpretation of emotion in poetic text are considered in the article — linguistic, traditional literary and emotive (from the point of modern interdisciplinary interpretation of the phenomenon of emotionality). The relevance of the study determines the belief that, without taking into account of achievements of linguistic emotion and traditional linguistics, the analysis of the stylistic individuality of the writer will be incomplete. Novelty of the study is the introduction concepts of poetic emotion and emotivity into the conceptual apparatus of the style of the text. The subject of study — the emotivity of a poetic text — is defined as a formal-stylistic index / factor of author’s individuality, expressed through the images of a work. The relation of emotional and rational in methods of author’s self-expression, coordination of pathos and emotions is considered. The methodology of the research is determined by an interdisciplinary approach, it is determined during the analysis that among the linguistic approaches the most effective for literary analysis is the method of in-depth study of the category of emotivity in the text, worked out by O. Filimonova. As a result of research an emotivity of the form and content components are interpreted as the interconnected stylistic means in recognition of the lyrical work. It is proved that the expressiveness and aesthetic origin of poetry as a kind of artistic creation predetermines the emotivity of all its components. The basis of the theory of the emotivity of a poetic work, which incorporates the concepts of traditional poetry and prosody, is the principle of revealing poetic emotion in the text in three planes: content, expression and image. Stylistic differentiation of emotive means is conditioned by the formal expression of them at all levels of language use — phonological, morphological, lexical-semantic, phraseological, syntactic levels of structural models of works. According to the results of studying various aspects of the author’s emotionality in the poetic text, it is planned to develop a literary theory of poetic emotion and its description in the historical perspective.
