This research is library research with a thematic interpretation approach. In this study, the method that will be used is the "per-surah thematic interpretation" approach. It is said that the thematic approach is per-surah because specifically, this study will examine the surah of al-Kafirun in-depth with a focal point on monotheistic education. Specifically, the study refers to the interpretation of "Fi Zhilal al-Qur’an" by Sayyid Quthb. This study yielded two findings. First, the main essence of surat al-Kafirun is to instill tauhid in human beings to form a strong personality. Second, the main essence of the surah of Al-Kafirun' is the development of three dimensions of religious character: (a) theological dimension, (b) ritual dimension (c) comparative dimension.

Education in Islam covers the entire dimension of a Muslim's life. Bothdimensions ilahiyyahrelate to their relationship to God, or the dimensions of insaniyyah in relation to other human beings, as well as the dimensions of kauniyyah in relation to the universe. So the educational material in Islam is also very broadly covering the three dimensions, which are largely the subject of Aqidah, Ibadah, Morals, Languages and Literature, Science and Technology. Islamic education is entirely sourced and based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah. Given that its main source is the Qur'an and the Sunnah, then a necessity to study and understand the language used by both sources is Arabic. In Indonesia as the world's largest Muslim population, Arabic is one of the mandatory subject material in the national curriculum for Islamic education institutions, while for public education institutions as the subject matter of choice. But of course in the course of learning it encounters obstacles and difficulties as well as challenges, where Arabic is a foreign language morning Indonesian people. This research is a library research (Library Research) that is equipped with data from the field. The data collected are from the literature or from the informants related to this theme. The author describes the data through the deskreptive method and then draws conclusions that the undertaking is done objectively and systematically. The results show that the obstacles and challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia are quite diverse, but they still have similarities between one institution and another, so they can be grouped into the following major points: (1) politically problematic ; (2) problematic in sociological terms; (3) problematic in terms of methodology. But despite the many challenges and obstacles faced, but all of that can be an opportunity to develop Arabic language learning at Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract: Teachers’ Intelligence in the Perspectives of the West and Islam. The psychological principle of education can be understood as truth which is the basis or basis for thinking, both at the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of knowledge based on theories from psychology. Therefore, it becomes essential in understanding education, that education also has principles as a place and foothold that is upright, upright in material, upright in interaction, upright in innovation, or honest in its ideals. The type of research used is library research. The content analysis is used as an analysis method in this study. The results of this study can be concluded that: (1) The concept of psychological principles in Islamic education according to Hasan Langgulung is by emphasizing the theory of the learning process and the idea of human creation according to the Islamic view, which includes the nature of creation, essential human potential, cognitive and psychological growth and development and human spirit, so that it can be understood that human beings are creatures consisting of elements of Islamic and spiritual. (2) The implication of the concept of psychological principles in Islamic education is to view learning as a process in preparing the young generation so that they can act as the next generation, transferring knowledge and Islamic values so that they are aligned with the purpose of the human being created, as well as in their daily behaviour. Therefore, in the process of education must pay attention to the development of the soul, as well as the growth of the body of students by referring to the basis, objectives, curriculum, material, and evaluation that carry human functions as abid and khalifatullah which are decorated with righteous deeds.

The article is based on research in the region of Heidelberg—the city itself and two small municipalities nearby. It addresses three dimensions of local support movements for refugees: (1) the varying bundles of motives among those engaged, (2) the diversity of organizations concerned and (3) their interaction with the local political administration. A focal point of the study concerns features and processes that give actions and organizations a more or less political character. Our results reveal that, especially among newly engaged helpers and activists, political and apolitical motives coexist. Many people and their local organizations take positions in the country-wide controversial political debates on refugees, but for their practical action on location, moral concerns clearly prevail. Processes of politicization and depoliticization of refugee support largely depend on the ways and degrees to which nationwide political controversies and local developments intermesh. Politicization may take place due to controversies that call for more than a moral attitude, have an impact and build up at the local level. However, resistance to supportive action, be it by changing discourses or the persistence of traditional administrative routines, may also cause depoliticization, where volunteers and initiatives restrict themselves to acting as mere helpers that bring some human touch into an environment that longs to return to normality.

Decreased awareness to internalize and inspire the values of Pancasila will lead to the degradation of the nation's character. If left unchecked will have an impact on the morale and attitudes of the younger generation that are not in accordance with the values of Pancasila. This study aims to determine the implementation of character education based on Pancasila values through role models and habituation. This research is based on the library research process. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative-critical, namely by emphasizing the ability of analysis and analysis of selected library sources. The results showed that the implementation of Pancasila values through role models was done by improving the religious side of students, providing guidance and training students' obedience to obey the rules, arouse the national spirit and love of the motherland, instilling democratic attitudes in students, teaching social care and not apathetic. Whereas the implementation of the values of Pancasila through habituation is done by accustoming students to having an attitude of religious tolerance, mutual love and respect for fellow human beings, not making a difference as an excuse to be divided, accustomed to making deliberative decisions, making friends with anyone and having solidarity.

The concept of the Anthropocene finds its origins in geology and assumes that humanity has become a geological force, changing the Earth’s environment in an unprecedented scale, blurring the dividing line between nature and society. This new understanding of the power of human beings is accompanied by the demand for a revolution in values capable of providing ways to deal with the situation we find ourselves in. The purpose of this paper is to briefly explore the use of the notion of Anthropocene as the focal point of an understanding of the radically new character of the current situation by way of its approximation to Hannah Arendt’s notion of acting into nature, as well as to probe the critical analyses on value both of Arendt and Herbert Marcuse to provide a sketch of a possible way of dealing with the Anthropocene’s demand for a revolution in values.

Conflicts are unavoidable in human life. Thus, for human beings, the attitude of forgiveness is of importance to be well-embedded and sustainably constructed. Resting upon the aforesaid premises, the present study conducted a library research to reveal how forgiveness is viewed from the perspectives of positive psychology and Islam. 102 scientific works reviewed, 58 works were finally selected to be scrutinized in depth. This study revealed that the discourses in the field of positive psychology imply that forgiveness attitude is of importance to be embedded in human beings and continuously constructed by virtue of its positive natural impacts on mental health, good relationships, physical health, and positive well-being. Furthermore, as informed by Islamic teachings, the attitude of forgiveness is also suggested to be well and continuously embedded. As the best Islamic role model for the end-time people, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH already exemplified that humans are indeed to always be forgiving and even to pray for others for the sake of good things that Allah SWT will bestow to. It is worth noting that both positive psychology and Islam encourage humans to be forgiving individuals.

The research’s aim is to present a thematic study of the prohibition of menstruating women to come inside the mosque and recite Al Qur’an. It is based on certain hadith with various Islamic histories. The analysis of mufradat and the content of hadith are used to reveal its prohibition. The method used in this research was library research or documents with a Maudhu'iy (thematic) approach. The results of this research concluded that menstruating women and Junub people are not forbidden to come inside the mosque for any reasons as long as they can keep their menstrual blood was not scattered in the mosque. It was based on several hadith proposed by Ibn Hazm and Aisyah. The reasons given by Ibn Hazm are relevant to the conditions of the present age. While reciting al-Qur'an, there is no single valid hadith stated by Imam al-Bukhari. It can be assumed that menstruating women may recite Al Qur'an. If they are forbidden to recite Al Qur'an and do dhikr, then she will be far from Allah as quoted in the hadith from Aisyah as explained that the prophet will always remember Allah all times

Conceptual modeling appears to be the heart of good software development (Jackson, 2000). The creation of a conceptual model helps to understand the problem raised and represents the human-centered/problem-oriented moment in the software process, as opposed to the computer-centered/software-oriented moment of the computational models (Blum, 1996). The main objective of human computer interaction (HCI) is also precisely to make human beings the focal point that technology should serve rather than the other way round. The conceptual models are built with conceptual modeling languages (CMLs), whose specification involves constructors and rules on how to combine these constructors into meaningful statements about the problem. Considering the criterion of the representation capability of the CMLs in software engineering, their main drawback is that they remain too close to the development aspects (Jackson, 1995). The constructors are too much oriented toward the computational solution of the problem, and therefore, the problem is modeled with implementation concepts (computer/software solution sensitivity) rather than concepts that are proper to human beings (human/problem sensitivity) (Andrade, Ares, García & Rodríguez, 2004). This stands in open opposition to what we have said about the moments in the software process and HCI. Moreover, this situation seriously complicates the essential validation of the achieved conceptual model, because it is drawn up in technical terms that are very difficult to understand by the person who faces the problem (Andrade et al., 2004). The semantics of the constructors determines the representation capability (Wand, Monarchi, Parsons & Woo, 1995). Since the constructors are too close to implementation paradigms, the CMLs that currently are being used in software engineering are incapable of describing the problem accurately. Suitable human/problem-related theoretical guidelines should determine which constructors must be included in a genuine CML. This article, subject to certain software-independent theoretical guidelines, proposes the conceptual elements that should be considered in the design of a real CML and, consequently, what constructors should be provided. The Background section presents the software-independent guidelines that were taken into account to identify the above-mentioned conceptual elements. The Main Focus of the Article section discusses the study that identified those elements. Finally, the Future Trends section presents the most interesting future trends, and the final section concludes.
