ABSTRAK Kegawatandarutan bisa terjadi dimana saja terutama wisata pulau. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pertolongan pertama masyarakat wisata pulau. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah penyuluhan tentang pertolongan pertama wisata pulau kepada masyarakat Desa Lemukutan Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat didapatkan data terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat sebelum dan setelah penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pertolongan pertama wisata pulau. Peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pertolongan pertama menjadi upaya penanganan kegawatdaruratan di Pulau Lemukutan. Kata Kunci: Pertolongan pertama, Pengetahuan, Edukasi  ABSTRACT The emergency condition can occur anywhere, especially island tourism. The purpose of community service was to increase the knowledge of first aid for island tourism communities. The method of implementing community service is counseling about island tourism first aid to the people of Lemukutan Island, Sungai Raya Islands District. The results of community service showed that there was an increase in community knowledge before and after health counselling about island tourism first aid. ABSTRAKCovid-19 sangat mudah menular diantara masyarakat, terutama ditempat-tempat keramaian terutama daerah wisata. Banyak masyarakat yang tidak mematuhi anjuran kesehatan terhadap protokol kesehatan disebabkan pengetahuan yang rendah tentang covid-19. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat tentang pencegahan covid-19 di Desa Lemukutan. Metode palaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah penyuluhan tentang covid-19 dan skrining covid-19 kepada masyarakat Desa Lemukutan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat didapatkan data sebelum edukasi diperoleh tingkat pengetahuan dan kemampuan masayarakat dalam melakukan skrining covid-19 pada kategori kurang 43,3%, kategori cukup 33,3%, dan kategori baik 23,4%. Sedangkan setalah diberikan edukasi terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan masayarakat dalam melakukan skrining covid-19 pada kategori cukup 30% dan kategori baik 70%. Peningkatan pengatahuan masyarakat tentang covid-19 dan kemampuan dalam melakukan skrining covid-19 menjadi salah satu upaya pencegahan covid-19. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Skrining, Covid-19  ABSTRACTCovid-19 is very easy to spread among people, especially in crowded places, especially tourist areas. Many people do not comply with health recommendations regarding health protocols due to low knowledge about COVID-19. The purpose of community service is to increase community knowledge and skills about preventing COVID-19 in Lemukutan Village. The method of implementing community service is counseling about covid-19 and COVID-19 screening training to the people of Lemukutan Village. The results of community service obtained data before education obtained the level of knowledge and ability of the community in screening for COVID-19 in the less category 43.3%, the sufficient category 33.3%, and the good category 23.4%. Meanwhile, after being given education, there was an increase in the knowledge and ability of the community in screening for COVID-19 in the 30% sufficient category and 70% good category. Increasing public knowledge about COVID-19 and the ability to screen for COVID-19 is one of the efforts to prevent COVID-19. Keywords: Education, Screening, Covid-19.

ABSTRAK Banyak dari penderita hipertensi yang tidak menyadari atau menganggap remeh akibat belum dirasakannya keluhan berarti meskipun tekanan darah sudah mencapai level berbahaya. Kondisi tersebut akan semakin berbahaya apabila masyarakat memiliki keterbatasan akses ke pelayanan kesehatan yang memadai seperti daerah-daerah pesisir pantai atau pulau-pulau kecil yang memerlukan transportasi air apabila ingin menuju ke pekayanan kesehatan yang memadai. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat tentang tanggap hipertensi di Desa Lemukutan Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan. Metode palaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah penyuluhan tentang tanggap hipertensi dan pelatihan pengolahan mentimun serta prosedur rendam kaki air hangat dan jahe kepada masyarakat Desa Lemukutan Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kepulauan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat didapatkan data terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat sebelum dan setelah penyuluhan kesehatan tentang tanggap hipertensi dengan hasil sebelum diberikan edukasi dan demonstrasi pengolahan penurun tekanan darah non farmakologis dan terapi terkait penurunan hipertensi sebagian besar peserta memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan pada kategori sedang yaitu 66,7%, kategori rendah yaitu 30% dan kategori tinggi yaitu 3,33%. Sedangkan setelah diberikan edukasi dan pengolahan penurun tekanan darah non farmakologis dan terapi terkait penurunan hipertensi  diperoleh pengetahuan dan kemampuan pada kategori sedang yaitu 76,7% dan kategori tinggi yaitu 23,33%.. Peningkatan pengatahuan masyarakat tentang hipertensi dan keterampilan dalam melakukan pengolahan mentimun serta prosedur rendam kaki air hangat jahe menjadi salah satu upaya pencegahan komplikasi hipertensi. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Pelatihan, Hipertensi     ABSTRACT Many people with hypertension do not realize or underestimate the consequences of not having any significant complaints even though their blood pressure has reached a dangerous level. This condition will be even more dangerous if the community has limited access to adequate health services, such as coastal areas or small islands that require water transportation if they want to go to adequate health services. The purpose of community service is to increase community knowledge and skills about hypertension response in Lemukutan Village, Sungai Raya Islands District. The method of implementing community service is counseling about hypertension response and training on cucumber processing as well as foot soaking procedures in warm water and ginger to the people of Lemukutan Village, Sungai Raya Islands District. The results of community service showed that there was an increase in community knowledge before and after health counseling about hypertension response with the results before being given education and demonstration of non-pharmacological blood pressure-lowering processing and therapy related to reducing hypertension, most of the participants had knowledge and abilities in the moderate category, namely 66.7 %, the low category is 30% and the high category is 3.33%. Meanwhile, after being given education and processing non-pharmacological blood pressure lowering and therapy related to reducing hypertension, knowledge, and abilities were obtained in the medium category, namely 76.7%, and the high category, namely 23.33%. Increasing public knowledge about hypertension and skills in processing cucumbers and The procedure of soaking feet in warm ginger water is an effort to prevent complications of hypertension. Keywords: Education, Training, Hypertension

Teluk Kenidai Village is located in Tambang District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Teluk Kenidai Village has the potential for natural tourism in the form of beaches, which are one of the alternative tourist destinations for the community. The activities carried out are playing various kinds of rides and swimming on the banks of the Kampar River. The visitors to the island of love in Kenidai Bay are the largest visitors of all tourist objects in Kampar Regency. The existence of the island of love tourism can develop the community's economy by providing special foods as souvenirs and drinks for tourist visitors. Alternative foods that can be done are processed crispy monitor fish and lime syrup drinks because these two things have very high potential in Kampar Regency, and can provide added value to people's lives. The purpose of the activity is to empower the people of Teluk Kenidai Village, to process various crispy monitoring fish and to increase the attractiveness of the island of love for visiting tourists. The benefits of the activity are opening up people's insights in increasing the potential of natural resources, gaining skills and abilities in making crispy monitor fish and lime syrup to improve the economy. The method is carried out by demonstration and hands-on practice in the manufacture of crispy monitoring fish and lime syrup. The target communities are the people living in Teluk Kenidai Village and village customary leaders and the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) totaling 15 people. Evaluation is carried out by giving questionnaires to all participats before and after the delivery of counseling materials and practices. The results of the evaluation of the community service activities that have been carried out show that the increasing desire of the community in practicing extension activities to earn additional income by opening this bussines, especially in the tourist area of Pulau Cinta in Teluk Kenidai Village.

<p><em>Buku Limau village is located at Belitung Timu</em><em>r</em><em> district. This village is one out of 18 remoted villages which located in one region of Bangka Belitung Province. Buku Limau village is also one out of three villages which are populated by the people. One of the greatest potential of this village is tourism, which have a very lovey beaches all along the coast line. However, it seems that they do not have an adequate number of human resources. The purpose of this students community service programme is to increase the awereness of Buku Limau people in several important aspects, namely: education, tourism, well-being based on local wisdom. In order to increase those several aspects, the students will held several comunnity job, namely: first aid training, training and education for tourism human resources. These several community service will helped the people of Buku Limau to increase their wealth and boost the tourism programme. </em></p>

ABSTRAKArtikel ini merupakan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat di Desa Aluh-Aluh Besar Kecamatan Aluh-Aluh Kabupaten Banjar dalam mencegah penyakit hipertensi. Berdasarkan hasil diagnosa komunitas, masih banyak didapatkan masyarakat yang terkena hipertensi. Selain itu, berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh menunjukan masih rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai hipertensi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyuluhan ini adalah 1) perencanaan dan persiapan berupa perizinan, membuat whatsapp grup serta mengundang masyarakat sasaran. Selanjutnya tim menyusun kuesioner pre-post test, membuat materi dan media penyuluhan, 2) pelaksanaan dan proses berupa penyajian materi dan penutupan, 3) monitoring dan evaluasi, monitoring dari program ini adalah dengan selalu mem-booster pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat, evaluasi dari program ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap masyrakat. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukan peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai penyakit hipertensi dari sebelum 76,9% dan setelah mendapatkan materi menjadi 100% dan terjadi peningkatan sikap dari sebelum 92,3% dan setelah mendapatkan materi menjadi 100%. Kata kunci: penyuluhan; hipertensi; whatsapp grup. ABSTRACTThis article is a community service that aims to improve the knowledge and attitudes of the community in Aluh-Aluh Besar Village, Aluh-Aluh District, Banjar Regency in preventing hypertension. Based on the results of community diagnosis, there are still many people affected by hypertension. It was, based on the information obtained, public knowledge about hypertension was still low. The methods used in this outreach are 1) planning and preparation in the form of licensing, creating whatsapp groups and inviting target communities. Furthermore, the team compiled a pre-post test questionnaire, made counseling materials and media, 2) implementation and process in the form of material presentation and closure, 3) monitoring and evaluation, monitoring of this program is to always increase community knowledge and attitudes, evaluation of this program can seen from the increase in knowledge and attitudes of the community. The results of counseling increased knowledge about hypertension before 76.9% and after the material became 100% and the attitude increased from before 92.3% and after getting the material to 100%. Keywords: counseling; hypertension; whatsapp group.

Korban henti jantung bisa dialami oleh siapapun dan kapanpun tanpa mengenal tempat kejadian. Salah satu faktor penyebab tingginnya kematian akibat henti jantung adalah terlambatnya pertolongan yang diberikan kepada korban segera setelah henti jantung. Mayoritas kasus henti jantung terjadi di pra-Rumah Sakit, mencapai 72%. Pengetahuan dan ketrampilan orang awam yang baik, meningkatkan angka kelangsungan hidup korban henti jantung sebelum mendapatkan penanganan lanjutan di Rumah Sakit. Relawan adalah orang atau tim yang paling sering menjumpai kejadian henti jantung dan korban tidak sadar ketika melakukan pencarian dan evakuasi korban. Tujuan dilakukan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan relawan bencana. Proses pengabdian masyarakat ini terdiri dari edukasi dan praktik dengan materi bantuan hidup dasar. Perubahan kognitif sebelum dan sesudah edukasi dievaluasi menggunakan pertanyaan, dengan nilai rata-rata 35 menjadi 85. Peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti program edukasi bantuan hidup dasar. Pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan relawan dalam memberikan pertolongan kepada korban tidak sadar. Tindak lanjut dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu membuat tim relawan kolaborasi dengan medis untuk menangani kasus medis diluar Rumah Sakit Kata kunci: bantuan hidup dasar; ketrampilan; pengetahuan; relawan bencana IMPROVEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS BASIC LIFE ASSISTANCE IN DISASTER VOLUNTEERS ABSTRACT Victims of cardiac arrest can be experienced by anyone and at any time without knowing the scene. One of the factors causing the high death due to cardiac arrest is the late help given to victims immediately after cardiac arrest. The majority of cases of cardiac arrest occur in pre-hospital, reaching 72%. Good knowledge and skills of lay people, increase the survival rate of victims of cardiac arrest before getting further treatment at the Hospital. Volunteers are the people or teams that most often encounter cardiac arrest and the victim is unconscious when searching and evacuating victims. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge and skills of disaster volunteers. This community service process consists of education and practice with basic life support materials. Cognitive changes before and after education were evaluated using questions, with an average score of 35 to 85. Participants were very enthusiastic in participating in the basic life support education program. Community service by providing knowledge to improve volunteer skills in providing assistance to unconscious victims. Follow-up from this community service is to create a team of volunteers collaborating with the medical to handle medical cases outside the hospital. Abstract. Wahidah BF, Afiati N, Jumari. 2021. Community knowledge of Amorphophallus muelleri Blume: Cultivation and utilization in Central Java, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 22: 2731-2737. Porang (Amorphophallus muelleri Blume) is a member of the Araceae edible family currently popular on Java island, Indonesia. In the last five years, this plant which has high economic value due to its various benefits as a food plant and medicinal plant has been cultivated in Central Java. This study aims to determine the knowledge of the people in Central Java about porang plant, its cultivation, and its use in people's lives. The method used is a qualitative method by applying data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Besides general interviews, this study gains more information from some informants whose purposively chosen amongst the respondents as people knowledgeable about porang in general, and in particular A. muelleri. Results showed that people in Central Java do have knowledge about porang plant even though it was not used as food ingredient. Public knowledge about porang cultivation is obtained from various sources including social media and people who strive for porang with success. Therefore, since the community is currently aware of the potential and economic values of porang, they have started to cultivate it. Porang has enormous potential to be developed in the future and provide welfare for the community.

The Village

The potential of this agribusiness can be found and developed in Gunung Perak Village. In the village fresh milk is produced which is then processed in the Sintari Dairy Cooperative, better known as Susin. Aiming at product innovation, the community service team conducted this Community Service Activity smoothly for five months. Participants in this activity generally work as teaching teachers, housewives and farmers. This activity is dominated by participants aged 18-45 years and 100% participants are female. This activity was also followed by PKK in Gunung Perak Village. Mc Nemar X2 test with a Significant value of 0.007 <0.05 so that there are differences in knowledge before and after exposure to material about Processing and Online Marketing of Kefir Dairy Products in Gunung Perak Village, West Sinjai District, Sinjai District. This activity, public knowledge increased by an average value difference of 1.88 with the addition of knowledge reaching 9.4%.

The Impact

Community service activities carried out in Padarincang village are aimed at increasing public knowledge about the importance of maintaining health during the Covid 19 period, in this transitional period, education also changes things that need attention. The final target of this activity is that the community understands the importance of maintaining health and the impact on education during the Covid 19 period, the community becomes more aware of the current education patterns. In the event using google meet media, the event was divided into 2 speaker sessions related to the pattern of discussion about the education period during the Covid period, 19 of whom discussed the socialization of health protocols. In this event the participants who took part were mostly the people around the padarincang area, which was the main objective. This activity was assisted by the KKM 18 UNTIRTA group. The methods used are observation, interview and seminar. The results obtained from this activity are that the community understands the importance of maintaining health during Covid 19 and understands the current government regulations regarding the implementation of education. From the evaluation at the end of the seminar 96% of the activities carried out were successful in accordance with the expected targets and achievements.

Education related to emergency cases and their management are very important and practical; in order to increase the number of people, particularly students, who are trained in handling first aid in emergency cases. The purposes of this event are to provide an insight and understanding as well as to socialize first aid skills on emergency cases to lay people. By understanding health and safety factors, positively they can help to prevent unnecessary death. Emergency education and first aid training can increase public knowledge about the potential cases, so that people can implement them in daily life. This will definitely have an impact in increasing positive attitudes on the community. The event is held online using Zoom platform, on Saturday, September 24, 2021 and were attended by 339 participants, mostly medical students. Before and after the presentation, a pretest and a post-test are conducted to assess the knowledge of attending participants regarding emergency education. In general, the participants have better understanding about emergency cases and first aid training after the event.Kegiatan Penyuluhan Kesehatan Masyarakat (PKM) berupa edukasi terkait kasus gawat darurat serta tatalaksananya tentunya merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan bermanfaat. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan jumlah orang yang terlatih, terutama dikalangan mahasiswa, dalam melakukan tindakan pertolongan pertama pada kasus gawat darurat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan serta pemahaman kepada masyarakat dan mensosialisasikan sejak dini kegiatan pertolongan pertama pada kasus kegawatdaruratan. Dengan demikan, pertolongan dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan unsur kesehatan serta keselamatan dengan tujuan dapat mencegah terjadinya kematian. Edukasi serta pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai kasus gawat darurat yang berdampak pada peningkatan sikap yang positif pada masyarakat, khususnya dalam kasus kegawatdaruratan serta penatalaksanaannya sehingga masyarakat dapat menerapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan secara daring (online) dengan menggunakan platformZoom pada hari Sabtu tanggal 25 September 2021 dan diikuti oleh 339 peserta yang sebagian besar dari kalangan mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran. Sebelum dan sesudah penyampaian materi edukasi kasus kegawatdaruratan, dilakukan pretest untuk menilai pengetahuan awal peserta dan post-test bagi peserta untuk menilai pengetahuan setelah mengikuti edukasi terkait kegawatdaruratan. Secara garis besar, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai tatalaksana kasus kegawatdaruratan (first aid) setelah dilakukan penyuluhan.
