This research has the aim of building a system of acceptance for new students with a website-based method, so that it can help prospective new students in the subject make it easier to obtain information about the registration of new students. Data processing in the acceptance of new students at Al Amanah Vocational School Pasar Kemis still uses Conventional systems, namely prospective registrants come directly to the school then fill out the registration form then the registration data is recorded in a book and reports are made also using manual recapitulation resulting in archival loss and needing a very long time in the process of making a report. Using research methods namely Library Studies, Analysis, Observation, Designing, Trial and Implementation. The information system at the admission of new students is designed using the PHP programming language and using the MySQL database as a Database Server. The output of this research is that the information system on admission of new students with web-based can have the ability to provide convenience for parents of new students in terms of getting all information about acceptance to new students and doing the registration process flow online.   Keywords: New Student Admissions, PHP, MySQL Database.

The existence of a system that is applied online can help and facilitate human work in various aspects of life so that it is easier and more effective. The implementation of the registration of prospective new students is used as the initial process of entering a new level in education. The implementation of the registration of prospective new students who have to come directly to the school to fill out the registration form is considered ineffective and inefficient. So, to make the registration process easier, it is necessary to create an online registration information system. For the analysis stage using flowcharts, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, Erd, and hierarchies for the design stage using class diagrams. With the design of a web-based system, it can simplify the process of registering new members, storing data relating to new student registrations can be stored neatly using a database and information relating to new student registration can be obtained quickly and accurately.

STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa is an educational institution that deals in English education and mathematics education. STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa organizes new student admissions every year. In organizing the admission of new students, STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa still uses a manual system that is by recording all registrants using books and registration forms are still stored in a cupboard. This makes it difficult for the organizing committee to manage data, which data will change from time to time. The solution to the problems that are happening at STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa is to build a Web-Based New Student Admission Information System at STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa. This system was developed using the PHP programming language by using the CodeIgniter and MysSql Framework as a database. The method used in building this system is to use the waterfall method. This system is expected to simplify and speed up the data management process for prospective new students.

Abstrak: Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan masih menjadi favorit para siswa dalam menimba ilmu pengetahuan dibangku sekolah, salah satu yang menjadi alasannya adalah biaya yang terjangkau. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan semakin bertambahnya siswa SMK yang ada pada kota Bekasi sehingga pihak sekolah membutuhkan peningkatan pelayanan yang cepat tanggap yang didukung dengan teknologi informasi, ruang belajar yang nyaman dan pendidik yang profesional. Seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah siswa membuat pihak sekolah kesulitan dalam mengelola data siswa yang mendaftar secara akurat sampai dengan proses pembuatan laporan yang membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Pada saat penerimaan siswa baru pihak sekolah masih menggunakan sistem manual yakni calon siswa mengisi kertas formulir yang diberikan panitia pendaftaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membantu pihak sekolah mengelola data siswa dalam proses penerimaan siswa baru menggunakan website yang mana dapat diakses melalui smartphone sehingga kegiatan penerimaan dapat berjalan dengan efektif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Waterfall karena dianggap memiliki tahapan yang terurut atau sekuensial yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengkodean, pengujian dan pemeliharaan. Sedangkan bahasa pemrograman untuk membangun sistem menggunakan PHP dengan CodeIgniter web framework, karena dianggap dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat proses pembangunan aplikasi yang memiliki banyak library dan DBMS yang digunakan menggunakan mysql yang kompatibel dalam pembangunan aplikasi berbasis website. Hasil penelitian ini berupa sistem informasi penerimaan siswa baru berbasis web menggunakan framework codeigniter sehingga dapat membantu mempermudah siswa dalam mendaftar dan pihak sekolah dalam melakukan kegiatan penerimaan siswa baru secara online.   Kata kunci: penerimaan siswa baru, sistem informasi, metode waterfall   Abstract: Vocational High School is still a favorite of students in studying at school, one of the reasons is the affordable cost. This is evidenced by the increasing number of vocational students in the city of Bekasi so that the school needs an increase in responsive services that are supported by information technology, comfortable learning spaces and professional educators. As the number of students increases, it is difficult for schools to manage the data of students who register accurately up to the process of making reports that require a long time. At the time of admission of new students the school still uses a manual system where the prospective student fills out the paper form provided by the registration committee. Based on the problems faced, the purpose of this study is to help the school manage student data in the process of admitting new students using a website which can be accessed via a smartphone so that the reception activity can run effectively. The method used in this study is the Waterfall method because it is considered to have sequential or sequential stages namely requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. While the programming language for building systems using PHP with CodeIgniter web framework, because it is considered to be able to simplify and accelerate the process of building applications that have lots of libraries and DBMS that are used using mysql that are compatible in building website-based applications. The results of this study in the form of a web-based new student admission information system using a codeigniter framework so that it can help facilitate students in registering and the school in conducting new student admission activities online.   Keywords: new student admissions, information systems, waterfall methods

The government through the Manpower Office has built a Job Training Center which aims to provide skills and expertise to training participants in order to improve the quality of prospective workforce. The service for admitting new students at the Cilegon City Work Training Center which is implemented has not been effective because it still uses the manual system, where participants come to the office to take the registration form. This study aims to create a web-based information system for new student admissions at the Cilegon City Work Training Center. Making this new web-based student admission information system uses the waterfall method which includes software requirements analysis, design, system coding, system testing, system support and maintenance. The web-based admission system at the Cilegon City Work Training Center can make it easier for prospective new students to register by saving time and costs compared to coming in person. With this new student admission information system, it is hoped that it can facilitate the processing of new students at the Cilegon City Work Training Center.

New student registration is one of the processes that is normally carried out every year in educational institutions such as schools. New student registration is useful for screening prospective students who have been selected tobecome their students. In this research the process of registering new students at SMK Putra Rifara is done conventionally and has not been computerized, which allows many errors from writing data, stacking files and losing data. The formulation of the problem of this research is how to make a registration information system for SMK Putra Rifara. So the research method used is the method of observation, interviews, and library methods. The new student registration in formation system is buit with the PHP programming language and utilizes the MySQL database as a database server. The results of this study are web-based new student registration information systems that have the ability to provide data accuracy and ease for parents and prospective new students to obtain information about the school.

One of the most important things in the work process is the presentation of information that is fast and accurate. Data is processed in a short time, it will increase work efficiency, one of which is by using the system to process and display data into information. Information systems are needed considering technology is growing and now people are required to use more technology to reduce activities outside the home. Problems that often arise are the tight location of registration and the length of service for one registrant due to filling out registration forms and screening examinations for new students. In addition, the large accumulation of registration and trial files also takes a long time so that announcements of new student graduations cannot be made. The goal is to build a new student admission information system for all faculties at the Indonesian Methodist University, reduce applicants who come to the registration location, reduce the use of paper registration forms, help submit and fill in student data, conduct online screening exams, provide information on new student registration, schedule and payment of tuition fees. The result of this initialization is building a new student registration information system using the Codeigniter Framework and Application Programming Interface (API).   Index Terms—Application Programming Interface (API); Codeigniter framework; information systems; online registration

Abstrak: Pendidikan adalah hal yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan suatu bangsa, pada era sekarang ini pendidikan sudah harus bisa menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada dengan mengagas kurikulum baru yaitu kurikulum 2013 berbasis komputasi. Pada Sekolah As-Sabiquun belum ada sistem yang terkomputerisasi dalam hal peneriman siswa baru sehingga sering terjadi kerangkapan data, karena sebab itu sekolah  As-Sabiquun sangat membutuhkan adanya sistem informasi yang menunjang dalam proses penerimaan siswa baru .  Dengan demikian sudah sewajarnya jika perombakan terjadi pada sistem sekolah dengan menggunakan teknologi terkomputerisasi salah satunya adalah untuk masalah penerimaan siswa baru pada sekolah As-Sabiquun. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode waterfall. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa sistem informasi penerimaan siswa baru berbasis web yang diharapkan dapat mempermudah proses pengolahan data siswa pada sekolah As-Sabiquun.   Kata kunci: sistem informasi ,sistem penerimaan siswa baru, waterfall   Abstract: Education is a very influential thing on the development of a nation, in this current era education must be able to adjust to the development of existing technology by examining the new curriculum, namely the 2013 curriculum based on computing. In the As-Sabiquun School there is no computerized system in terms of the acceptance of new students so that duplication of data often occurs, because of that the As-Sabiquun school is in need of an information system that supports the admission process of new students. Thus it is natural that an overhaul occurs in the school system using computerized technology one of which is for the problem of admission of new students to the As-Sabiquun school. The method used in the development of this system is to use the waterfall method. New Student Admission is an activity that will always be carried out every year by schools, both public and private schools in attracting new students. The process of admitting new students needs doing quickly and precisely to support the educational process in each school. There are currently not many schools in East Nusa Tenggara that develop new student admission information system and Academic Information online. With the benefit and ease of existing technology, this new student admission information system and Academic Information set by each school. The New Student admission and Academic Information System at the Christian High School Kesetnana Soe currently still use a manual system where information on new student admissions distributed through brochures, the registration process for new students is still by filling in the form provided by the committee, data entry is not accurate, and it takes too long. Of these problems, the purpose of this research is to build an application to assist the school in the web-based admission process for the process to run effectively and efficiently. This software development uses the waterfall method, and the programming language used is PHP and MYSQL as the database. The result of this research is a system that can help make it easier for students to register and see the results of graduation anywhere and make it easier for teachers to input school academic information data online.

Abstract: The registration of students is only carried out in several stages, such as inputting the student's personal data, completeness of the requirements file, and announcement of selection results. However, because the new student registration system in Ma'arif NU 1 SMK Kemranjen is still manual, the new student registration service is still considered ineffective and time efficient, because prospective new students must wait for long service, besides the risk of prospective new student documents tucked into other documents because too many docu ments from prospective students are quite large. So we need a new student registration information system at Ma'arif NU 1 Kemranjen Vocational High School to provide better service. Research using methods of observation, interviews and literature studies. The used method in the development of this system is SDLC (Life Cyce Development System) with the waterfall process model. With this system, it is expected that it can support registration data processing so that it is more structured, efficient and effect ive. As well as for community service that is as an information center for schools in disseminating information so that the general public can quickly find accurate information. Abstract – Currently, the procedure for admitting new students at SMK Al-Halim Garut is considered less effective and efficient. Since the acceptance of new students is by means of prospective students who must fill out a form using the google forms provided by the school. This makes it difficult to share information with outsiders. After that, prospective students or parents must come to school to just see announcements or information and even submit documents related to the implementation of new student admissions. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new web-based student information system at SMK Al-Halim Garut which can solve the problems so far. This development stage used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the waterfall model and the need for a Unified Modeling Language (UML) which functions to make it easier to describe the system already made. The results showed that the Web-based Information System for New Student Admissions with PHP and SQL was able to manage the implementation of the New Student Admissions, such as registration, selection, announcement, and re-registration. In the feasibility test using a black box, it showed that this software was very feasible in terms of functionality.Keywords : information system, acceptance of new students, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Unified Modeling Language (UML).Abstrak - Saat ini prosedur penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMK Al-Halim Garut dinilai kurang efektif dan efisian. Karena penerimaan peserta didik baru dengan cara calon siswa harus mengisi lembaran formulir menggunakan google form yang sudah disediakan oleh pihak sekolah. Hal ini mengakibatkan sulitnya berbagi informasi dengan pihak luar. Setelah itu calon siswa ataupun orang tua siswa harus bersusah payah mendatangi sekolah untuk sekedar melihat pengumuman atau informasi dan bahkan mnyerahkan dokumen persyaratan yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya suatu pengembangan sistem informasi peserta didik baru berbasis web di SMK Al-Halim Garut yang bisa menyelasaikan permasalahan selama ini. Tahap pengembangan ini menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model waterfall dan perlu adanya Unified Modeling Language (UML) yang berfungsi untuk mempermudah menggambarkan sistem yang akan dibuat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Berbasis Web dengan PHP dan SQL ini mampu mengelola pelaksanaan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru yaitu pendaftaran, seleksi, pengumuman, dan pendaftaran ulang. Pada uji kelayakan yang mengggunakan black box menunjukkan bahwa perangkat lunak ini sangat layak dari aspek fungsional.Kata Kunci : sistem infromasi, penerimaan peserta didik baru, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Unified Modeling Language (UML).
