There are several differences between the two types of alarm systems, conventional systems and addressable systems. It is important to carefully determine the introduction of a fire alarm system according to the installation environment. Talking about the main difference relates to how the connected device communicates with the main control panel by sending a signal. Cost is another factor that can be a determinant of your chosen fire alarm system. In this paper, we proposed smart addressable fire detection system. In the proposed system, IoT was used and the network was constructed using ZigBee module. In the configured network, it consists of a local server and a control server. The local server controls the addressing sensor and sends the information obtained from the sensor to the control server. The control server receives data transmitted from the local server and enables quick fire action. In the actual implementation, the local server used the Lycra controller and ZigBee module. In addition, the control server used the Raspberry Pi and ZigBee modules and connected to the Ethernet so that the administrator could monitor or control the local server.

Genotyping of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) is an important task in medicine, veterinary medicine and biology. Precise differentiation of SNPs can be challenging. Methods based onTaqman can lead to false positive results due to nonspecific annealing of the probe. The aim of this research was to develop a new approach for the accurate differentiation of SNPs based on real-time PCR with Taqmanprobes and their rivals. The rivals competed with the Taqmanprobes for annealing to the site. The rivals blocked the nonspecific allele so that the Taqmanprobe could not anneal to it. Thus, the Taqmanprobe only detected specific alleles. This approach madeit possible to fine-tune the diagnostic system by selecting the ratio of Taqmanprobes and rivals (in non-equimolar amounts too). The new approach was tested on several diagonally significant SNPs in veterinary medicine.Using Taqman probes and rival probes showed a significantly greater specificity and efficiency in the determination of both homozygotes and heterozygotes than when conventional systems based only on Taqmanwere used. Keywords: SNP, allele identification, real-time PCR, fluorescent dye

Brazilian coffee production represents an important activity in the country’s agricultural sector and, for this reason, it requires innovative technologies for the production of seedlings, which is one of the most important inputs in crop implantation. Thus, plant cloning by cutting, mineral nutrition via modified hydroponics and the use of alternative substrates appear as technological innovations for seedling production. This study evaluated the production of clonal coffee seedlings in a modified hydroponic system in comparison to the conventional climate-controlled greenhouse system, using vermiculite and phenolic foam as alternative substrates. At the end of the experiment, the seedlings were analyzed for growth (height, stem diameter, number of total leaves, leaf area, root area, shoot and root dry matter) and physiological (chlorophyll content and stomatal conductance) characteristics. For the statistical analysis, a completely randomized design was used in a factorial scheme 2 (types of substrate) x 2 (cultivation systems) with six replications and ten plants per plot. The innovative modified hydroponic system leads to a greater growth of coffee seedlings produced by cuttings in tubes with vermiculite compared to those produced in conventional systems. The substrate phenolic foam can be used alternatively in the air-conditioned greenhouse system. However, in the modified hydroponic system, it is not indicated, as it causes total seedling mortality.

The development of organic agriculture in France was steady since 2010 but became stronger since 2014. Like other crops, the cultivated areas of organic soybean and sunflower doubled from 2014 to 2018. With a view to better characterize cultural practices in organic production, Terres Inovia and ITAB (in collaboration with Agence Bio) conducted in 2016 and 2017 a national farmers’ survey. These surveys reveal that sunflower was mainly cultivated over the same types of soil than in conventional production but were integrated in more diversified rotations. The main differences between organic and conventional systems concern sowing date and weed control. Organic sunflower was sown very lately compared to conventional one, which impacted the yield severely. Weed were controlled through ploughing, mechanical weeding and crop rotation and weed control was judged as satisfying by a major part of producers. Concerning soybean, a great difference is the use of irrigation which is almost systematic in conventional but concerned only 50% of cultivated area in organic production. Contrary to sunflower, soybean is integrated in short crop rotation, particularly when it was irrigated. This demonstrated the high profitability of soybean in organic systems. Like for sunflower, weed control done through ploughing, mechanical weeding, and crop rotation and weed control was also judged satisfying; nevertheless, criteria on harvest impurities are more severe and to respect them, organic farmers also use hand weeding in complement. These surveys will be reconducted over the years to be able to follow the changes of cultural practices over the years.

Covid 19 has an impact on the economic decline evenly, one of which is the level of people's purchasing power decreases. Coupled with the existence of social restrictions that do not allow people to interact with each other, it greatly affects sales revenue, especially marketing that still uses and relies on conventional systems. Therefore, there is a need for assistance to do digital marketing, especially in this era of sophisticated technology. Because it is undeniable that online marketing is an alternative, not just to keep up with the times, but also a way to adapt to the pandemic conditions that have not subsided. The purpose of this activity is to conduct socialization and assistance to the community, especially women farmer groups regarding how to make product packaging techniques attractive and marketing techniques through digital, with the hope that people will not only do conventional marketing but also digitally. The method used is by socializing or delivering digital marketing materials and theories, as well as direct practical assistance on how to package products, take product photos, use social media, and so on. From the assistance that has been carried out by women farmer groups, they can apply social media including whatsapp and facebook as a means of making sales so that the products or agricultural products they market more attract the wider community

Stock and Mechanism of Physical Protection of Soil Carbon in Agricultural Managements A B S T R A C TThe terrestrial compartment is the largest carbon reservoir in the soil and stores about three times as much as the atmospheric compartment. However, the atmosphere has increased its concentrations, due to the high emissions of greenhouse gases, mainly due to the consumption of fossil fuels and forest fires. Brazil is one of the largest emitters, especially of carbon dioxide, for which the sector of land use change and forests are responsible for the majority of emissions. Soil under natural conditions has a balance between carbon input and output, however when the soil is cultivated, mainly with conventional systems, there is a significant loss of soil carbon stocks. However, when conservation management is adopted, there is a mechanism for the physical protection of carbon through the formation and stabilization of aggregates, which hinders the access of microorganisms to decomposition and keeps them stored in the soil, which mitigates the emission into the atmosphere. In view of the above, this study aimed to show how the management influences the carbon stock in the soil, and how the mechanism of physical protection of aggregates in conservationist systems works, demonstrating how advances were made in researching the interaction of organic matter with formation and stabilization of aggregates.Key words: aggregates, carbon dioxide, greenhouse effect, crop-livestock-forest integration, organic matter

Fibre optics deals with study of propagation of light through transparent dielectric waveguides. The fibre optics is used for transmission of data from point to point location. Fibre optic systems currently used are most extensively as the transmission line between terrestrial hardwired systems. The carrier frequencies used in conventional systems had the limitations in handling the volume and rate of the data transmission. Greater the carrier frequency larger is the available bandwidth and information carrying capacity. This paper explains about Optical BPSK, where input data is converted to BPSK data which is optically modulated by optical modulator and transmitted through an optical fibre cable. The transmitted data and received data are compared in the end.

Fabricating objects with desired mechanical properties by utilizing 3D printing methods can be expensive and time-consuming, especially when based only on a trial-and-error test modus operandi. Digital twins (DT) can be proposed as a solution to understand, analyze and improve the fabricated item, service system or production line. However, the development of relevant DTs is still hampered by a number of factors, such as a lack of full understanding of the concept of DTs, their context and method of development. In addition, the connection between existing conventional systems and their data is under development. This work aims to summarize and review the current trends and limitations in DTs for additive manufacturing, in order to provide more insights for further research on DT systems.
