Rice husk waste has been thrown away and burned without any use, it has the potential to cause environmental pollution. This rice husk can actually be used, for manufacture of briquettes, but the lack of knowledge and skills of the people about processing rice husk waste into briquettes. The process of making briquettes does not require high technology and low cost. The training in manufacturing of charcoal briquettes is very useful which aims to make people in the area able to utilize rice husk waste to become a product of sustainable technology, namely charcoal briquettes which can be used as an alternative fuel instead of BBM, and also minimize the occurrence of environmental pollution. These activities include (1) socializing the using of rice husk into charcoal briquettes; (2) training to manufacture of chimneys to burn rice husk; (3) processing of rice husk into charcoal; (4) manufacturing charcoal briquettes; (5) applying the use of briquettes as fuel. These socialization and training activities have been successfully carried out in accordance with the planned activities that have been prepared, and received good reception from the local villagers seen from their presence and involvement in activities, and succeeded in providing special skills for local residents, especially farmers who were directly involved in making briquettes.

Dusun Penggung is one of the Dusun (sub-village) located in Giripurwo village, Girimulyo district, Kulonprogo regency. The geographical condition, dry soil nd far distance from the city are the main factors of underdeveloped village. Most of the people work as rice and corn farmers. AbstractOrganic waste is one of the big problems that are difficult to solve in Indonesia. The international news page, The Anadulu Academy stated that in 2019, there were 67 million tons of waste produced in Indonesia, of which 67 million tons, 60 percent of which is organic waste. In fact, in this organic waste, there are several substances such as protein or glucose which, if properly utilized can produce nutrients needed for plant growth, development, and health. Therefore, the writer as a participant in the Sisdamas Community Service Program tries to minimize the amount of organic waste in a small scope such as in Tagog Hamlet by processing it into liquid organic fertilizer or named "Tagog Liquid Organic Fertilizer (Tapukor)". Besides being able to be used by the people in the village, this liquid organic fertilizer can be marketed also where the liquid organic fertilizer has a high economic value of around 25,000 for 50 mL. So that the creation of liquid organic fertilizer is expected to contribute significantly in achieving the goal of sustainable development (SDGs) point eight, namely promoting equitable and sustainable economic growth, optimal and productive workforce, and decent work for all

Mangoes are a widely available type of fruit during the harvest seasons in Kaibobu Village, West Seram, Western Seram Regency, Maluku Province. However, there have been no innovative measures to preserve the mangoes to be consumed outside their harvest seasons. Thus, there should be a training program that focuses on mango processing techniques employed to increase the storability of these mangos while maintaining their nutrient compositions. One such technique is fruit leather. Targeting the family empowerment women groups in Kaibobu Village, the training activities aimed to boost the people’s knowledge and skills in utilizing the potentials of mangoes processed into fruit leather. The activities included both education and training sessions. These community service activities have run well and provided various benefits to the people of Kaibobu Village. The community participation in the program was also evident, as seen from their enthusiasm when they joined both education and training sessions. The participants have garnered more knowledge about mangoes’ nutritional values, technology to process mangoes into fruit leather, and product packaging through the education activities. They also better understood the importance of mango processing and had better skills in processing mangoes into fruit leather. Lastly, the participants received the equipment needed to process their mangoes into fruit leather.
