This study was conducted to identify the teacher skill level and attitude towards the use of multimedia in the teaching and learning of the Holy Koran for Autism students. This study was conducted using a set of questionnaires that were completed by 40 teachers who teach in the Integrated Special Education Program (PPKI) class selected by random. These quantitative data from the questionnaire were analyzed descriptively through SPSS software, version 22 to obtain the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between skill level and teacher attitude towards using multimedia in the teaching and learning of the Holy Koran for Autism students. The results of the analysis of the study found that the teacher skill level (M=3.63, SD.=0.82) and teacher attitude (M=3.80, SD.=0.71) were at a moderate and high level. Meanwhile, this study also shows that there is a significant relationship between skill level and teacher attitude. Indeed, the teacher skill level and attitude towards using multimedia in teaching is positive but has weaknesses in terms of the application of multimedia items. Thus, while conducting the teaching process, a teacher must take into account the skill level to be applied and the readiness of the teacher attitude to build a multimedia-based teaching process to be more effective. AbstrakKajian ini dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti tahap kemahiran dan sikap guru terhadap penggunaan multimedia dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran al-Quran untuk murid Autisme. Kajian ini dilakukan menggunakan set soal selidik yang telah dilengkapkan oleh 40 orang guru yang mengajar di kelas Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) yang dipilih secara rawak. Data kuantitatif daripada soal selidik ini dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan SPSS versi 22 bagi mendapatkan kekerapan (frekuensi), peratusan, min dan sisihan piawai. Analisis korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk menentukan hubungan antara tahap kemahiran dengan sikap guru menggunakan multimedia dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran al-Quran murid Autisme. Hasil analisis kajian mendapati, tahap kemahiran guru (M=3.63, SP.=0.82) dan sikap guru (M=3.80, SP.=0.71) berada pada aras sederhana tinggi. Sementara itu, kajian ini juga menunjukkan wujud hubungan yang signifikan antara tahap kemahiran dengan sikap guru. Sememangnya tahap kemahiran dan sikap guru ke arah menggunakan multimedia dalam pengajaran adalah positif tetapi mempunyai kelemahan dari aspek pengaplikasian item-item multimedia. Justeru, semasa menjalankan proses pengajaran, seseorang guru mesti mengambil kira mengenai tahap kemahiran untuk diaplikasikan dan kebersediaan sikap guru untuk membina proses pengajaran berasaskan multimedia agar menjadi lebih efektif.

Purpose and problem of the study: This study to identify the level of impact of zakat distribution and the level of religious practice among the mualaf (convert) in Selangor. The aim is also to analyse the relationship between the level of impact of zakat distribution and the level of religious practice of mualaf in Selangor. The problem of the study is issues which related to the granting of zakat rights to Muslims and its impact on strengthening the faith of these groups and their appreciation of Islamic teachings. Methodology: This study applies quantitative methodology which involves 454 Muslim converts as respondents and they were randomly selected to get the data of this study. Main Findings: The descriptive analysis findings demonstrate that the level of impact of zakat distribution and the level of religious practice of mualaf in Selangor is at high level, where each has a mean value (4.20 and 4.63). The result of the Pearson correlation analysis proves that there is a significant relationship between the impact of the distribution (r = 0.643, p < 0.01) and religious practice (r = 0.677, p < 0.01).       Applications of this study: This study involves respondents from the mualaf group in Selangor. Selangor has chosen to be the area of study as the total number of muallaf registered in this state is greater than those in other states in Malaysia. Novelty/Originality of this study: The implementation of zakat distribution based on the principals and concepts dictated by Islamic law will give a great impact to the group of mualaf (convert).

Research has demonstrated that teachers’ beliefs on teaching and learning plays a part on the way they teach and assess learning. A new assessment system for schools was implemented in 2011 to set the stage for change of the Malaysian education system from centralised examination to a combination of centralised examination and school-based assessment. There is a growing concern with implementation issues pertaining to how teachers will transform their assessment practices in their school contexts. Thus, this study sought to gain insights into teachers’ beliefs about school based assessment, and examine the relationship between their beliefs and classroom practice. A survey measuring teachers’ beliefs and practices of school based assessment was administered to 174 teachers who are currently educating in Malaysian government funded schools. Findings from this study demonstrated that teachers appear to have good knowledge of assessment principles about School Based Assessment (SBA). They conducted their assessment using appropriate procedures by considering the context of teaching and assessment in which they operate. The result of Pearson correlation analysis revealed a positive relationship between teachers’ beliefs about SBA and their classroom practices.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between social support and academic stress among first year students at Syiah Kuala University (UNSYIAH). Data was collected through questionnaires. The respondents were first year students at UNSYIAH (n = 364) with ranging age from 16 to 21. Respondents completed the Multi Dimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) and Student Life Stress Inventory (SLSI). Pearson Correlation Analysis was used to analyze the relationship between social support and academic stress among first year students. The results revealed that the sample reported moderate levels of social support and academic stress. Students with high level of social support, reported low level of academic stress.

Abstract Background Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) is a condition characterized by an exaggerated response of the immune system to the fungus Aspergillus. This study aimed to assess the relationship between carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and eosinophils in ABPA patients.Methods: We describes a case of a 50-year-old patient who was diagnosed with ABPA presenting with high level of CEA and eosinophils. Besides,we used immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence to identify eosinophils and CEA in sections which were obtained by Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial lung biopsy aspiration (EBUS-TBLB). The sections were then visualized using confocal microscopy. We also retrospectively analyzed a cohort of 37 ABPA patients between January 2013 and December 2019 in our hospital.Results: We found the patient whose serum CEA levels were consistent with eosinophils during the follow-up(r=0.929,P=0.022). The positive expression of CEA and abnormal expression of eosinophils was higher in the ABPA tissue compared to the normal lung tissue. The co-localization was represented as pixels containing both red and green color in the image (with various shades of orange and yellow) which signified that eosinophils were immunohistochemically positive for CEA. Patients with higher levels of eosinophils had higher levels of CEA in the serum (P<0.001). The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that the levels of eosinophils were positively correlated with serum CEA levels(r=0.459 and r=0.506,P=0.004 and P=0.001). Conclusion: Serum CEA level is elevated in ABPA patients. The elevated serum CEA level was shown to be normalized after treatment. Increased CEA levels in ABPA patients may be positively correlated with eosinophil levels, and eosinophils may be served as CEA-secreting cells in patients with ABPA.

This article examines the relationship between learning and behavioural evaluation among religious officers in Malaysia after attending the Manual on HIV/AIDS in Islam Training Programmes organized by the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (JAKIM). The training programmes were implemented to deliver the most accurate and the latest information on HIV / AIDS as well as to train religious officers in Malaysia to address the issues among Muslims. The training programmes apply the theoretical and practical activities where participants had the opportunity to carry out outreach activities with People Living with HIV / AIDS (ODHA). Quantitative methods through questionnaires were used to obtain data. A total of 350 religious officers who had attended the training programmes were selected as respondents by simple random sampling technique. Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between the learning and behavioural evaluation. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis found that there was a significant relationship between learning evaluation in terms of the information obtained from programmes’ contents and behaviour evaluation with r = 0.489 and sig = 0.000 (p <0.05) at the medium positive range.. While the relationship between learning evaluation in terms of the information obtained from outreach activities with behavioural evaluation showed a strong positive correlation with the strength values obtained were r = 0.539 and sig = 0.000 (p <0.05). This analysis shows that the information acquired through the training program Manual Islam and HIV / AIDS has been successful in changing the behaviour of religious officers’ awareness in terms of the role of dakwah to ODHA. ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan melihat hubungan antara penilaian pembelajaran dengan penilaian tingkah laku dalam kalangan Pegawai Agama di Malaysia setelah mengikuti Program Latihan Manual Islam dan HIV/AIDS anjuran Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM). Program latihan ini dilaksanakan untuk menyampaikan maklumat yang tepat serta informasi terkini isu HIV/AIDS di samping melatih Pegawai-pegawai Agama di Malaysia untuk menangani isu tersebut dalam kalangan umat Islam. Program latihan ini berbentuk teori dan praktikal di mana peserta program berpeluang melaksanakan dakwah secara temu seru (outreach) dengan Orang Yang Hidup dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA) secara langsung. Kaedah kuantitatif melalui soal selidik telah digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Seramai 350 orang Pegawai Agama yang telah mengikuti program latihan ini dipilih sebagai responden melalui teknik pensampelan rawak mudah. Analisis korelasi Pearson dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti hubungan di antara penilaian pembelajaran dengan penilaian tingkah laku peserta yang mengikuti Program Latihan Manual Islam dan HIV/AIDS. Hasil analisis ujian korelasi Pearson tersebut mendapati bahawa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan di antara penilaian pembelajaran dari segi maklumat yang diperoleh daripada kandungan program dengan penilaian tingkah laku dengan nilai r = 0.489 dan sig = 0.000 (p<0.05). Kekuatan hubungan ialah positif sederhana. Manakala hubungan antara penilaian pembelajaran dari segi maklumat yang diperoleh daripada program temu seru dengan penilaian tingkah laku pula menunjukkan kekuatan hubungan positif kuat dengan nilai yang diperoleh ialah r = 0.539 dan sig = 0.000 (p<0.05). Analisis ini menunjukkan bahawa pembelajaran yang diperoleh melalui program latihan Manual Islam dan HIV/AIDS ini telah berjaya mengubah tingkah laku Pegawai Agama dari segi kesedaran peranan berdakwah kepada ODHA.

Boyle's law is used to explain the inverse relationship between pressure and the volume of gas at a constant temperature. This law states that when the pressured container is filled by increasing gas, thus the total volume will decrease. This research paper aims to study the level of student acceptance of teaching based on teaching aids (TA) Boyle's Law Apparatus (BLA) in the teaching and learning for the DJJ20063 Thermodynamics course. The questionnaire study was distributed to 66 respondents, namely Port Dickson Polytechnic‟s students of semester 2, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program December 2019 session who involved in lectures where TA is used to give the students a clear vision in understanding the concept of Boyle Law in the topic of Perfect Gas. The data were analysed by using SPSS software through descriptive analysis statistics. The results of the study showed that the level of effectiveness of this TA is at a high level with an average mean score of 3.70 and standard deviation 0.447. Therefore, studies showed that the use of this teaching aids among students provides a better understanding, especially on the topic of Perfect Gas compared to teaching methods without the teaching aids that had been produced before. Through this method as well, the study found that students' interest and determination to deepen a lesson can be nurtured in more depth.

Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is characterized by structural and functional disorder of the kidney with irreversible and gradual characteristics with one of the modalities of renal replacement therapy such as hemodialysis (HD). The role of inflammation in HD patients by uremic toxin and dialysis can be assessed by the marker of High Sensitive C Reactive Protein (HsCRP). Several studies have examined the relationship between HsCRP and red cell distribution width (RDW) in regular HD patients which leads to increase patient morbidity and mortality, but until now, there has been no study in Indonesia regarding the correlation between HsCRP and RDW in regular HD patients. This study aims to determine the correlation HsCRP as a marker of inflammation and RDW values in regular HD patients. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study in Regular HD patients at Dialysis Unit-H. Adam Malik General Hospital. A total of 20 subjects were included. Bivariate and multivariate analysis was conducted to analyze the relationship of HsCRP, ureum, creatinin, hemoglobin, and eGFR to RDW. Results: There were 20 Regular HD patients analyzed. The proportion of patients with increased RDW was 80%. In pearson correlation test, there is a strong correlation between HsCRP and RDW (r= 0.667, p<0.001). Discussion: Majority of regular HD patients at H. Adam Malik General Hospital were assessed with increased RDW. Pearson correlation analysis revealed HsCRP was significantly associated with RDW. Conclusion: Increased RDW was found in 80% of regular HD patients at H. Adam malik General Hospital. From pearson correlation analysis, we found HsCRP was significantly associated with RDW. The purpose of this study is identify factors that affect students motivation in  learning Arabic among lower secondary level students at Naim Lilbanat National Religious Secondary School (SMKA), Kota Bharu, Kelantan. To achieve this purpose, four objectives have been outlined; to identify the level of students performance in Arabic, to identify the level of students interest towards Arabic, to identify factors that affect students motivation towards Arabic and to evaluate the relationship between motivation and students performance in Arabic. This quantitative research used questionnaires for collecting data. 93 students at lower secondary level at SMKA Naim Lilbanat were selected by simple random technique as the sample that represent 40% of the research population. A pilot study was conducted to ensure the quality of feasibility, validity and reliability of the instrument. The validity of items was obtained by referring to 10 experts of the subject matter. Coefficient of reliability value was obtained at a high level that is 0.86 through Cronbach Alpha test using SPSS version 19. The study found that 88 (94.6%) respondents have a good performance in Arabic and 78 (83.9%) respondents have a good interest towards Arabic. According to this study, five factors that affect students motivation in descending order are: attitude toward Arabic as they consider it as important, Arabic environment, attitude toward Arabic as they consider it as easy to learn and understand, self-awareness and the effectiveness of teaching and learning in the classroom. The Pearson correlation test showed that there is a positive significant relationship at a moderate level between level of interest and performance of Arabic among lower secondary level students at SMKA Naim Lilbanat.   Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti faktor-faktor yang membentuk motivasi terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam kalangan pelajar peringkat menengah rendah di Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) Naim Lilbanat, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Bagi mencapai tujuan tersebut, empat objektif telah digariskan iaitu mengenal pasti tahap pencapaian pelajar bagi mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab, mengenal pasti tahap minat pelajar terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab, mengenal pasti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi pelajar terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab dan menguji hubungan tahap motivasi pelajar dengan pencapaian Bahasa Arab. Kajian ini berbentuk kuantitatif dan menggunakan soal selidik sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Seramai 93 orang pelajar peringkat menengah rendah di SMKA Naim Lilbanat telah dipilih secara rawak mudah sebagai sampel yang merupakan 40% daripada jumlah populasi kajian. Satu kajian rintis telah dijalankan bagi menjamin kualiti kebolehlaksanaan, kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan instrumen. Kesahan instrumen diperoleh secara merujuk kepada 10 orang pakar bidang. Nilai keefisienan kebolehpercayaan item diperoleh pada tahap tinggi iaitu 0.86 daripada ujian Alpha Cronbach menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 19. Kajian ini mendapati 88 orang (94.6%) responden mempunyai pencapaian yang baik dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab. Kajian ini juga mendapati 78 orang (83.9%) responden mempunyai tahap minat yang baik terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab. Lima faktor yang paling mempengaruhi motivasi pelajar secara turutan menurun ialah: sikap terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab yang dianggap penting, persekitaran bahasa Arab, sikap terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab yang dianggap mudah dipelajari dan difahami, kesedaran diri dan keberkesanan pengajaran dan pembelajaran dalam bilik darjah. Ujian korelasi Pearson memperlihatkan wujud hubungan positif yang signifikan pada kadar sederhana antara tahap motivasi dan pencapaian Bahasa Arab dalam kalangan pelajar peringkat menengah rendah di SMKA Naim Lilbanat.

Objective: The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic further increased this stress of employees. This disease, which did not have a cure and a vaccine at the beginning, increased the anxiety of the employees and forced them to live separately due to the risk of infecting family members. This study aimed to investigate the burnout levels of doctors and technicians working in Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital Anaesthesiology and Reanimation Clinic. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted prospectively by using a questionnaire method in the Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital. Maslach Burnout questionnaire applied to the participants. Quantitative data were expressed as %, the number of subjects as (n). The distribution of continuous variables was evaluated with the Kolmogorov-Smirnow test. Qualitative data were expressed in mean±SD (standard deviation). X2 test was used for comparison of categorical variables. Independent Student T-test was used for comparison of continuous variables. The relationship between burnout level and variables was determined by Pearson Correlation Test. The value of p<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: A total of 52 volunteers participated in the study. The average emotional exhaustion score of the volunteers participating in the study was 31.13±4.6, the average depersonalization score was 15.06±3.3, and the mean personal achievement score was 23.60±3.7. There was no statistically significant relationship between any of the variables and the burnout level (p>0.05). Conclusion: The high level of burnout in a clinic that is at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19, such as anesthesiology and reanimation, is important in terms of determining the situation.
