Boyle's law is used to explain the inverse relationship between pressure and the volume of gas at a constant temperature. This law states that when the pressured container is filled by increasing gas, thus the total volume will decrease. This research paper aims to study the level of student acceptance of teaching based on teaching aids (TA) Boyle's Law Apparatus (BLA) in the teaching and learning for the DJJ20063 Thermodynamics course. The questionnaire study was distributed to 66 respondents, namely Port Dickson Polytechnic‟s students of semester 2, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program December 2019 session who involved in lectures where TA is used to give the students a clear vision in understanding the concept of Boyle Law in the topic of Perfect Gas. The data were analysed by using SPSS software through descriptive analysis statistics. The results of the study showed that the level of effectiveness of this TA is at a high level with an average mean score of 3.70 and standard deviation 0.447. Therefore, studies showed that the use of this teaching aids among students provides a better understanding, especially on the topic of Perfect Gas compared to teaching methods without the teaching aids that had been produced before. Through this method as well, the study found that students' interest and determination to deepen a lesson can be nurtured in more depth.

Teaching aids are among the most important instruments in providing effective delivery results as well as the best understanding to students. Therefore, this teaching aid should also be in the Thermodynamics course and among the topics whose concept is quite difficult to understand by students is Boyles Law in the topic of Perfect Gas. Boyle's law is used to explain the inverse relationship between pressure and gas volume at a constant temperature. This law states that when the pressure of the container is filled with increasing gas, then the total volume will decrease. Boyles' Law on the topic of Perfect Gas is also one of the important topics and it is the basis in Thermodynamics. This paper is about the development of Boyle's Law Apparatus (BLA) teaching aids (TA) for the DJJ20063 Thermodynamics course at Port Dickson Polytechnic which is an apparatus that can explain to students related to the basic concepts of Boyle's Law. In addition, this teaching aids can also help lecturers in providing a better understanding to students who take Thermodynamics courses. The production of this tool is not only used by lecturers in the theory class but also this tool can also be used for practical needs in the laboratory. In conclusion, a suitable apparatus for explaining Boyle's Law to students has been successfully designed and developed. In this regard, hopefully the innovation of this teaching aids will be able to benefit all parties in improving the teaching and learning system, especially for Thermodynamics course.

Purpose-Teacher autonomy is one of the important research topics and has got centre place in the field of teacher education. The main purpose of autonomy is to develop the ability to organize and direct their own teaching and learning inside and outside the classroom. Hence, the present study is an attempt to explore the Autonomy of teacher educators teaching in B.Ed. colleges in Delhi concerning their gender, type of institutions and subject of teaching. Methodology-Overall 100 teacher educators working in different types of B.Ed. colleges of Delhi were taken as sample by stratified random sampling technique. Teacher Autonomy scale (TAS) constructed by Pearson and Moomaw (2006) was used to collect data. The data was analyzed with the help of descriptive analysis and test of significance. Findings -The result showed that moderate level of autonomy was found among teacher educators and there was statistically a significant difference for type of institutions and no difference for gender and subject of teaching was found among teacher educators of Delhi. Significance- Teacher educators are teacher of teachers are mainly responsible to train teachers as autonomous teachers. To develop autonomy among perspective teachers, to make our teacher autonomous practitioner we should trained them in such a way that they have good chance of autonomous learning. It can only be possible if teacher educators have autonomous approach. Teacher educators autonomy should not be confined to the classroom but it also include curricular and research autonomy and teacher should have freedom to reflect and innovate to improve his teaching and learning process. This study was conducted to identify the teacher skill level and attitude towards the use of multimedia in the teaching and learning of the Holy Koran for Autism students. This study was conducted using a set of questionnaires that were completed by 40 teachers who teach in the Integrated Special Education Program (PPKI) class selected by random. These quantitative data from the questionnaire were analyzed descriptively through SPSS software, version 22 to obtain the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between skill level and teacher attitude towards using multimedia in the teaching and learning of the Holy Koran for Autism students. The results of the analysis of the study found that the teacher skill level (M=3.63, SD.=0.82) and teacher attitude (M=3.80, SD.=0.71) were at a moderate and high level. Meanwhile, this study also shows that there is a significant relationship between skill level and teacher attitude. Indeed, the teacher skill level and attitude towards using multimedia in teaching is positive but has weaknesses in terms of the application of multimedia items. Thus, while conducting the teaching process, a teacher must take into account the skill level to be applied and the readiness of the teacher attitude to build a multimedia-based teaching process to be more effective. AbstrakKajian ini dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti tahap kemahiran dan sikap guru terhadap penggunaan multimedia dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran al-Quran untuk murid Autisme. Kajian ini dilakukan menggunakan set soal selidik yang telah dilengkapkan oleh 40 orang guru yang mengajar di kelas Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) yang dipilih secara rawak. Data kuantitatif daripada soal selidik ini dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan SPSS versi 22 bagi mendapatkan kekerapan (frekuensi), peratusan, min dan sisihan piawai. Analisis korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk menentukan hubungan antara tahap kemahiran dengan sikap guru menggunakan multimedia dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran al-Quran murid Autisme. Hasil analisis kajian mendapati, tahap kemahiran guru (M=3.63, SP.=0.82) dan sikap guru (M=3.80, SP.=0.71) berada pada aras sederhana tinggi. Sementara itu, kajian ini juga menunjukkan wujud hubungan yang signifikan antara tahap kemahiran dengan sikap guru. Sememangnya tahap kemahiran dan sikap guru ke arah menggunakan multimedia dalam pengajaran adalah positif tetapi mempunyai kelemahan dari aspek pengaplikasian item-item multimedia. Justeru, semasa menjalankan proses pengajaran, seseorang guru mesti mengambil kira mengenai tahap kemahiran untuk diaplikasikan dan kebersediaan sikap guru untuk membina proses pengajaran berasaskan multimedia agar menjadi lebih efektif.

This study aimed to learn the knowledge, attitude and problems of Malay Language teachers on the implementation of higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in teaching and learning (T&L) literature component (KOMSAS) in secondary schools.The study was conducted because there are Malay Language teachers who have a low mastery of the syllabus and content of KOMSAS. Respondents of this study consisted of 108 Malay Language teachers in secondary schools that teach in Timur Laut district, Penang. The design of this study is a study that uses descriptive analysis. This study uses questionnaires as instruments. Data were analyzed using Social Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25.0 for descriptive data description. The findings showed the mean average value of teacher knowledge level before T&L (min 3.917) and current T&L (min 3.970), teacher attitude level before T&L (mean 3.894) and current T&L (min3.875) against HOTS in T&L KOMSAS showed the average mean value was at a high level, while the average mean value of problems on teachers (mean 3.116) and problems on students (mean 2.578) to implement KBAT in T&L KOMSAS are at a moderate level. This indicates that the knowledge, attitudes and problems affecting the implementation of HOTS among Malay language teachers in the T&L of KOMSAS. Kajian ini dijalankan kerana terdapat guru bahasa Melayu yang mempunyai penguasaan yang rendah tentang sukatan pelajaran dan kandungan KOMSAS. Responden kajian ini terdiri daripada 108 orang guru Bahasa Melayu sekolah menengah yang mengajar di Daerah Timur Laut, Pulau Pinang. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah kajian tinjauan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Kajian ini menggunakan soal selidik sebagai instrumen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Social Package for Science Social (SPSS) versi 25.0 untuk pemerihalan data secara deskriptif. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan nilai purata min bagi tahap pengetahuan guru sebelum PdP (min 3.917) dan semasa PdP (min 3.970), tahap sikap guru sebelum PdP (min 3.894) dan semasa PdP (min3.875) terhadap KBAT dalam PdP KOMSAS menunjukkan nilai purata min berada pada tahap tinggi, manakala nilai purata min bagi masalah terhadap guru (min 3.116) dan masalah terhadap pelajar (min 2.578) untuk menerapkan KBAT dalam PdP KOMSAS berada pada tahap sederhana. Fertility is one of the causes of the high population in an area. The problem in this study showed the high level of fertility in Sub-district Tembalang, Semarang, although the population of the District Tembalang is a second largest population after the District Pedurungan. The subjects of this study were heads mother in Sub Tembalang. This study using a sample of 100 respondents of the total population which is 10.600 people The analytical tool used in this study is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression by using SPSS software version 16.0.The results are obtain socioeconomic variables family income, education, age of first marriage are influential negative and significance on the level of fertility in Sub Tembalang, Semarang. Whereas the variable of working hours is not significant on the fertility rate. Suggestions relating to this study so that the authorities and field officers of PLKB in Sub-District Tembalang, hold a socialization for the society about the importance of marriage age maturation and improvement of education, so that the fertility can be reduced. Fertilitas merupakan salah satu penyebab tingginya jumlah penduduk di suatu daerah. Masalah dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan masih tingginya tingkat fertilitas di Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang, meskipun jumlah penduduk di Kecamatan Tembalang berada pada posisi kedua penduduk terbesar setelah Kecamatan Pedurungan. Subjek penelitian ini ibu rumah tangga yang berada di Kecamatan Tembalang. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 100 responden dari keseluruhan jumlah populasi adalah 10.600 orang. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh variabel sosial ekonomi pendapatan keluarga, pendidikan, usia kawin pertama berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat fertilitas di Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang. Sedangkan variabel curah jam kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat fertilitas. Saran yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini supaya pihak pemerintah dan PLKB di Kecamatan Tembalang mengadakan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pendewasaan usia pernikahan dan peningkatan pendidikan, sehingga fertilitas dapat berkurang.

This study aims to identify the personality profile among UTM lecturers who were excellent in teaching and learning based on the lecturers‟ teaching evaluation system (PPP) for semester 2 session 2007/2008 and semester 1 2008/2009. This study is corellational study and used the Big Five Personality Traits as framework research. A total of 52 lecturers had been selected using purposive sampling method. NEO-PIR inventory set by McCrae and Costa (1992) and translated by Khairul Anwar (2000) had been used in this study. It shows a high level of reliability which demonstrated the alpha Cronbach value of .870 for Neuroticism, .804 for Extraversion, .790 for Openness to Experience, .682 for Agreeableness and .904 for Conscientiousness. Overall, the value of alpha Cronbach is .813. The data collected were analyzed using 'Statistical Packages for Social Sciences(SPSS v12 for windows). The result of the descriptive analysis showed that the majority of excellent lecturers have conscientiousness profile of personality (mean=182.57), followed by agreeableness (mean=175.75) and extraversion (mean=160.019). The finding also showed that there was no significant between the profile of personality and achievement among the excellent lecturers. Kajian ini merupakan kajian korelasi dan menggunakan Teori Tret Personaliti Big Five sebagai kerangka kajian. Seramai 52 orang pensyarah cemerlang dalam PPP dilibatkan sebagai responden. Persampelan bertujuan digunakan dalam kajian ini dan Soal selidik NEO-PI-R oleh McCrae and Costa (1992) yang diterjemahkan oleh Khairul Anwar (2000) digunakan sebagai instrumen kajian. Soal Selidik ini mempunyai nilai kebolehpercayaan yang baik berdasarkan nilai alpha Cronbach .870 bagi domain Neuroticism (N), .804 bagi domain Extraversion (E), .790 bagi domain Openness to Experience (O), .682 bagi domain Agreeableness (A), dan .904 bagi domain Conscientiousness (C). Nilai alpha Cronbach bagi keseluruhan item adalah .813. Data yang telah dikumpul dianalisis menggunakan „Statistical Packages for Social Sciences’ (SPSS) versi 12.0 for windows. Analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahawa majoriti pensyarah yang cemerlang memiliki profil personaliti conscientiousness (min=182.57) diikuti dengan agreeableness (min=175.75) dan extraversion (min=160.019). Vocabulary is fundamental and one of the important components in acquiring a second language. The implementation of various platforms and applications in carrying a lesson is another way or substitute towards enhancing the students’ vocabulary knowledge. The current study aims to investigate the perceptions of students from Bachelor in Teaching English as a Second Language (BTESL) towards Enhancing Vocabulary through Social Media in Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia. Another aim of this study is to examine the differences in the perceptions of the BTESL students towards enhancing vocabulary through social media according to the year of study. This research involves 263 BTESL students consisting of 78.1% of Female respondents and 21.9% of Male respondents. A quantitative research was used in this study by using a survey method for the data collection. The questionnaire was created after reviewing the existing related literature and the draft was given to the experts in the field of Linguistics. The data was tabulated in the SPSS software and it was interpreted through descriptive analysis. The findings affirm that majority of the students view enhancing vocabulary through social media positively and it was observed that there are differences in the students’ perceptions according to the year of study. Thus, this study provides pedagogic implications to foster the teaching and learning processes based on the 21st Century learning.

This study is a need analysis of the development of sketch module for secondary D&T students. This study is in a form of a survey using questionnaire as a research instrument. A total of 287 teachers were involved in the study sample. The study sample was randomly selected. The data were analyzed using a descriptive analysis to meet the objectives of the study. The findings show that teachers are facing difficulties in implementing D&T teaching in schools. The majority of teaching teachers consist of non-option D&T teachers, lack of D&T knowledge and skills, intensive course requirements, less teaching aids and less conducive workshops. Students found that it was difficult to master topics that the teachers teach, especially the topic of sketching. The majority of teachers agree that the topic of sketching ought to be developed in a way to enhance students understanding, and along with helping the less skilled teachers. The implication of the study is that this module can be used by D&T teachers and students as a reference to improve the teaching and learning to become more effective.

This paper is to identify the implementation of hadith teaching and learning in secondary Islamic Education in Perak. This form of research uses quantitative methods. A total of 269 Islamic education teachers in daily secondary schools in Perak were selected as respondents using random sampling techniques. The study data were descriptively analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to obtain frequency, percentage, mean standard deviation. The findings on the time allocation construct were at moderately high levels (mean=3.51, s.p =0.3). Meanwhile, the findings of the teaching aid Material Construct mean score of the entire item are (mean=3.75, s.p=0.15) and the teachers’ interpretation is moderately high and the construct for teacher's teaching method “kitabah” the whole item's mean score is (mean=4.65, s.p=0.23) and interpretation at a high level. In conclusion, the main findings of the study show that teachers can implement good teaching methods to influence students' achievement. Despite the provision of teaching time and ease of teaching aids needs to be improved. The implications of the study show that the parties should increase their teaching time and expose the use of teaching materials to teachers so that students can master and improve sunnah practices in everyday life as derived from hadith learning in schools.

This research is Classroom Action Research aimed at improving students mathematics achievement of Class VIIIA Students of SMP Negeri 10 Bulukumba through the implementation of discovery learning method. The subject of the research were Class VIIIA Students of SMP Negeri 4 Bulukumba. The study was conducted within two cycles. The first cycles was conducted for 4 lessons and the second cycles for 5 lessons. Data were gathered using mathematics achievements test in each final of cycle according the matherial that is taught. Data were then analyzed by employing both qualitative and quantitative analyses. From descriptive analysis show that: (1) Within the first cycle, the students average score reached in the achievement test was 56,83; which was categorized as being in moderate level. Within the second cycle with the correction based on the reflection from the first cycle, there was an improvement of the mathematics achievement of student become 79,98; which was categorized as being in high level. (2) Students were more active in the process of teaching and learning. Beside happened improving mathematics achievement in each cycle caused: (1) The students more the more active forward in front of the class to doing question, improved from 16,9 % become 49 %. (2) The students were the more ask at the implementation happens improved from 15 % become 23 %. (3) The students are doing their homework improved from 57,5 % become 89,5 %. According the analysis data above, it could be concluded that the mathematics achievement of Class VIIIA Students of SMP Negeri 10 Bulukumba improved after the implementation of discovery learning method.
