The role of mass media in dissemination of farm information to the farmers is crucial. Thus, the study was undertaken to determine the effectiveness of selected mass media in agricultural technology transfer to farmers of Bangladesh and identify the influential factors affecting the effectiveness of mass media in technology transfer to farmers. The study was conducted in three villages of Gouripur sub-district under Mymensingh district in Bangladesh. One hundred ten farmers were interviewed using a structured questionnaire for data collection during the period of 15 May to 15 June, 2016. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the collected data. Results show that 62.7 per cent of the farmers perceived that effectiveness of mass media in technology transfer was low, while 31.8 per cent and 5.5 per cent of them perceived the issue as “moderately effective” and “highly effective”, respectively. Television was most popular mass media compared to radio, leaflet, poster and farm magazine based on the farmers’ responses. Out of eight characteristics, farmers’ education, extension contact and use of media had positively significant with the effectiveness of mass media. Multiple regression analysis revealed that 39.3% of the total variation in perceived effectiveness of mass media explained by two variables, namely education and use of media and identified as influential factors affecting the effectiveness of selected mass media.Res. This research was conducted on Melia Bali Hotel accounting employees. The number of samples in this study were 50 respondents. The sampling technique is saturated sampling using the Likert Summated Ratings (LSR) method. Data collection was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires for Melia Bali Hotel accounting employees. Data analysis in this study uses moderated regression analysis and the model feasibility test. The results of the moderated regression analysis and the model feasibility test indicate that the locus of control variable as a moderating variable influences the role of stress on job satisfaction of accounting employees at Melia Bali Hotels. The results of this study indicate that the higher the role stress felt by Melia Bali Hotel accounting employees, the job satisfaction felt by employees will decrease. A total of 109 smallholder cattle farmers were randomly selected and interviewed by using structured questionnaire. Descriptive and probit regression analysis were performed using the Statistical Package for Social Science. The results revealed that the majority of the farmers: were males, married, not formally educated, had less than 10years of cattle farming experience, did not participate in the most rewarding channels, used informal markets, received higher prices from the cattle markets nearer and regularly used. The statistically significant variables found to influence the cattle farmers’ participation in the high value formal markets from the probit regression analyses were number of heifers (Z=2.742: Sig. 0.006), keep farm-records (Z=2.611: Sig. 0.009), years in cattle farming (Z=-2.451: Sig. 0.014), and slaughtering cattle and selling as carcass (Z=-1.899: Sig. 0.054)

This study was conducted to find out factors affecting and level of mussel production, level of efficiency of using the tools and materials in cultivation process and whether the cultivation of mussels in Pasaran. This study was analyzed using Cobb-Douglass. The study were analyzed in quantitative descriptive, multiple linear regression analysis, and analysis of efficiency. The dependent variable (Y) is the result of production of green mussels cultivation and free variables are the number of bamboos (X 1), the amount of strap (X2), grouper (X3) and labor (X4). Mussel fisherman in Pasaran NPM with Px calculated to obtain the level of efficiency of each factors of production in messels cultivation. Studies show that the most influential factors production are variable bamboo, rope and labor. While the results of analysis the level of efficiency of using tools and materials is not efficient. The number of bamboo and labor should be reduced, because it tends to be a waste and not profitable either technically or economically. The value of the return to scale of 1.22 showed cultivation mussels are on increasing return to scale.

The Directorate General of Taxation has the authority to collect data and information related to taxation from agencies, institutions, associations, and other parties (ILAP) through Government Regulation No. 31 of 2012. Data and information collected from the ILAP, including transaction, identity, licensing, and non-transactional data, are used to build tax databases and explore potential taxation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of data and information collected in the context of taxation and investigate the factors that support and inhibit the implementation by using the variable implementation of the hybrid policy model. This work is qualitative research with a post-positivist approach. Data collection was done by conducting in-depth interviews and literature reviews. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, presentation, conclusions, and verification. The study showed that the implementation of data collection and information related to taxation has helped the Directorate General of Taxation build a tax database and taxpayer profile. However, there are still obstacles, such as the unavailability of an information system to monitor data use and barriers in incomplete data received. The inhibiting factors affecting implementation are the non-target setting of policy objectives and standards, lack of resources, and inadequate communication and coordination. The factors that support the implementation of this policy are the high motivation of policy implementers, the active role of policy implementers, and the adaptability of implementers.
