The purpose of this research is to look at the description of scientific attitudes possessed by students at SMPN 17 jambi city based on indicators of adoption of scientific attitudes and indicators of interest in increasing the time of science learning. This research is a quantitative study in which researchers use survey methods with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of the 2 attitude indicators discussed in this study are indicators of the adoption of scientific attitudes of 62.5% of students categorized as good. While the interest in increasing science learning time by 66.4% of students is of sufficient category. Based on the results of research that has been conducted it can be concluded that students have adopted a good scientific attitude and have sufficient interest to increase their science learning time.

The purpose of this study was to find out how the attitude of students of SMAN 8 Jambi City towards Physics subjects. This type of research is a quantitative study with a survey research design. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire or questionnaire and used a 5-point Likert scale. This research involved 174 students of SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics. Indicators used in this study are the Social Implications of Physics, Scientific Normality and Adoption of Scientific Attitudes. The analysis results obtained on indicators of the social implications of physics are good with 54.6% presentation. Indicator of attitude toward scientific normality is sufficient with 61.5% presentation, and indicator of scientific attitude adoption is good with presentation of 49.4%. AbstractThis research purposes to analyze the improvement of scientific attitudes, student learning outcomes, responses by utilizing environment media in subject of preservation living environment and sustainable development geography subject of XI Social-3 class at SMA Negeri 1 Angsana in 2017. This research used classroom action research. Subject of this research is students of class XI Social-3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana, it has 34 people. The technique of collecting data used observation sheet or questionnaire and written test. The result of the research shows the improvement of scientific attitude students obtained in the first cycle average 67,19% with enough category, and the second cycles has increased average 79,00% with good category. Learning outcomes in the first cycle students who achieve a minimum mastery of learning as much as 22 people (64,7%) with enough category and the second cycles has increasedas much as 30 people (88,2) with very good category. The students response in the first cycle with very good category has increased98,23% with very good category. The result of this research can be concluded that study by utilizing environment as learning media can increase the scientific attitude science, learning outcomes and positive response in geography subject in preservation living environment and sustainable development class XI Social-3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana, Tanah Bumbu regency. Learning by utilizing environment as media can motivate, fun, creative, thinking scientific and students learning outcomeare increasing.Key words: Environment media, scientific attitude students, learning outcomes AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peningkatan sikap ilmiah, hasil belajar siswa dan tanggapan (respon) dengan memanfaatkan media lingkungan pada pokok bahasan pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pembangunan berkelanjutan mata pelajaran geografi kelas XI IPS3 di SMA Negeri 1 Angsana tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana yang berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik pengumpuilan data menggunakan lembar observasi atau angket dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan sikap ilmiah siswa yang diperoleh pada siklus I rata-rata 67,19% dengan kategori cukup, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan rata-rata 79,00% dengan kategori baik. Hasil belajar siklus I siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan sebanyak 22 orang (64,7%) dengan kategori cukup dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan ketuntasan sebanyak 30 orang (88,2%) dengan kategori amat baik. Respon siswa pada siklus I dengan kategori sangat baik mengalami peningkatan 98,23% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa belajar dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah, hasil belajar dan respon positif siswa mata pelajaran geografi pada pokok bahasan pelestarian lingkungan hidup dan pembangunan berkelanjutan kelas XI  IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Angsana Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu. Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sebagai media dapat memotivasi, menyenangkan, kreatif, berpikir ilmiah dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat.Kata Kunci: Media Lingkungan, Sikap Ilmiah, Hasil Belajar

The attitude of students during the learning process is essential to be known by an educator to understand how to deal with students in the class. This study aims to determine how students 'attitudes towards science subjects and this study also aim to determine whether there is a comparison of students' attitudes towards natural science subjects in junior high schools in Indonesia. This research was conducted at some state junior high schools in Jambi. Specifically, the research sites were Junior High School 5, Junior High School 6, and Junior High School 26 in Jambi. The research design used in this study was a quantitative approach with survey methods. The research instrument was a science attitude questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that students' attitudes toward science subjects based on indicators of adoption of scientific attitudes, fun in learning science, and interest in increasing the time to study science were in good categories and also there are significant differences of students’ attitude towards science subjects in the three schools with a comparison value of 0.042 < 0.05.

The purpose of the research to identification attitudes of students SMAN 08 Batanghari of Physics on two indicators, that is the adoption of scientific attitudes and career interests in Physics. The sample used was 150 students. This type of research is quantitative with survey methods. The instrument used was an attitude questionnaire. Data analysis in this study uses descriptive statistics. The results obtained showed that the Adoption Indicator of scientific attitudes had the highest percentage of 69.3% with a good category and indicators of career interests in Physics had the highest percentage of 55.3% with a quite good category.

<p><em>This study aims to prove the correlation between scientific attitudes and science learning outcomes to fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Alian sub-district in the academic year 2019/2020 and the magnitude of the effective contribution of scientific attitude towards science learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative study using the correlation method. Sampling was randomly taken by cluster sampling technique. Correlation test results of scientific attitudes and science learning outcomes indicate that the value of Sig. of 0,000 and the correlation coefficient of 0.316. The contribution of scientific attitude towards the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences is 9.98%. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between scientific attitudes and learning outcomes of science to fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Alian sub-district in academic year of 2019/2020</em></p>

This research aims to implement Inquiry Small Research to improve the scientific attitude and achievement of students in vertebrate zoology This research was conducted in second semester with 38 students. This classroom action research is conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle through planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection using observation sheet to know the scientific attitude and cognitive test to measure student achievement. The results showed that implementation of Inquiry Small Research for scientific attitude of students with good and excellent category experienced an increase from pre-cycle and cycle I by 54%, and from cycle I and II increased by 6%. Thus, overall from the pre-cycle stage to cycle II, students' scientific attitudes increased by 60%. The increase of student achievement by 27%, from pre cycle and cycle I, from cycle I and cycle II experienced 39% improvement. Thus, overall from pre-cycle stage to cycle II, student achievement has increased by 66%. The conclusion of this research is through implementation of Inquiry Small Research can improve scientific attitude and student achievement.

This study aims to describe the implementation of augmented learning to improve the response to science learning of class students of PGMI Unipdu Jombang. The research sample was 30 students of class 5A PGMI Unipdu Jombang. The study was conducted in October-December 2019 using an experimental method with data collection techniques through cognitive tests, observation, and interviews. The results showed that augmented learning can improve the learning response of class students of PGMI Unipdu Jombang. <p>Abstract<br />Scientific attitude and emotional intelligence are needed so that students have good science learning achievements and are able to compete in the times. The study aimed to know correlation between scientific attitudes and science learning achievement, to know correlation between emotional intelligence and science learning achievement, and to know correlation between scientific attitudes and emotional intelligence on science learning achievement for fifth grade students of public elementary schools in Kebumen Sub district in academic year of 2020/2021. The research was quantitative research including ex-pose facto and correlational method. The research results showed that the scientific attitudes had correlation on science learning achievement (Sig. 0.00 &lt;0.05) with coefficient value 0.567, emotional intelligence had correlation on science learning achievement (Sig. 0.00 &lt;0.05) with coefficient value 0.528, and scientific attitudes and emotional intelligence had correlation on science learning achievement (Sig. 0.00 &lt;0.05) with coefficient value 0.634. It meant that the better students’ scientific attitudes and the emotional intelligence, the better learning achievement.<br />Keywords: scientific attitude, emotional intelligence, learning achievement</p><p>Abstrak<br />Sikap ilmiah dan kecerdasan emosional dibutuhkan agar siswa memiliki prestasi belajar IPA yang baik dan mampu bersaing dalam perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui adanya korelasi sikap ilmiah dengan prestasi belajar IPA, korelasi kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar IPA, dan korelasi sikap ilmiah dan kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelas V SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis expost facto dan metode korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap ilmiah memiliki korelasi dengan prestasi belajar IPA (Sig. 0,00 &lt; 0,05) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,567, kecerdasan emosional memiliki korelasi dengan prestasi belajar IPA (Sig. 0,00 &lt; 0,05) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,528, serta sikap ilmiah dan kecerdasan emosional memiliki korelasi dengan prestasi belajar IPA (Sig. 0,00 &lt; 0,05) dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,634. Semakin tinggi sikap ilmiah dan kecerdasan emlosional siswa secara bersama-sama, maka prestasi belajar IPA yang diperoleh juga akan semakin baik.<br />Kata kunci: sikap ilmiah, kecerdasan emosional, prestasi belajar</p>
