ABSTRACT One of the treatments to save the life of patients with chronic renal failure is hemodialysis therapy, accompanied by fluid intake restriction. This research aimed to figure out the effect of health education using audiovisual media on fluid restriction of Chronic Kidney Failure patients in the Hemodialysis Room of RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. This research was a  quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach with control group design. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. In the control group, the score of adherence to fluid restriction in CKD patients was significantly different (p=0.000). In the treatment group, the score of adherence to fluid restriction in CKD patients was significantly different (p=0.000). There was a difference in adherence scores after education between the control group and the experimental group (p=0.040). Education using audio-visual is very effective for increasing one's knowledge. So it is recommended that the next researchers to conduct health education research using the audio-visual method more than one meeting. Keyword: Health Education, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Fluid Intake ABSTRAK Salah satu penanganan untuk menyelamatkan nyawa pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik adalah terapi hemodialisis, disertai pembatasan asupan cairan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan media audivisual terhadap pembatasan cairan pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik di Ruang Hemodialisa RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif desain Quasi Eksperiment Teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling. Pada kelompok kontrol, skor kepatuhan pembatasan cairan pada pasien GGK berbeda signifikan (p=0.000). Pada kelompok perlakuan, skor kepatuhan pembatasan cairan pada pasien GGK berbeda signifikan (p=0.000). Terdapat perbedaan skor kepatuhan sesudah edukasi antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen (p=0.040). Edukasi menggunakan audio visual sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan seseorang, sehingga disarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan metode audio visual lebih dari satu kali pertemuan. Masalah pertumbuhan dan perkembangan masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan anak pada saat ini. Menurut WHO tahun 2013 mencatat bahwa setiap tahun lebih dari 200 juta anak mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan.Data nasional Menurut Kemenkes RI bahwa pada tahun 2010, sebesar 11,5 % anak balita di Indonesia mengalami kelainan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sedangkan dari data Riskesdas tahun 2018 menunjukkan total indeks perkembangan anak di Indonesia mencakup  88,3 % . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pijat bayi terhadap Perkembangan pada bayi usia 3 sampai 6 bulan di Kelurahan Mandalika wilayah kerja Puskesmas Cakranegara Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam proposal ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non equivalent control group dan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah bayi yang berusia 3-6 bulan yang memiliki perkembangan meragukan atau menyimpang, dengan jumlah sampel 30 bayi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan april 2019.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa setelah dilakukan uji mann whitney didapatkan hasil analisis pengaruh pijat bayi terhadap perkembangan pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok control yaotu  p value = 0,000 < α (0,05) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol terhadap perkembangan bayi. Ada pengaruh pijat bayi terhadap perkembangan bayi pada usia 3-6 bulan.The problem of growth and development is still a child health problem at this time. According to the 2013 WHO noted that every year more than 200 million children experience growth and development disorders. National data According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health that in 2010, 11.5% of children under five in Indonesia experienced abnormalities in growth and development while from the Riskesdas in 2018 showed the total child development index in Indonesia includes 88.3%. the purpose of this study is to know the Influence of Baby Message for Baby Development at the ages 3 – 6 months on Working Region of Cakranegara Health Center in 2019. The research method used in this proposal was quasi-experimental with a non equivalent control group design and the sampling technique was purposive sampling. The population in this study were babies aged 3-6 months who had dubious or deviant development, with a sample of 30 babies. This research was conducted in April 2019. The result of this study is after the Mann Whitney test, the results of the analysis of the effect of infant massage on the development in the experimental group and the control group p value = 0.000 <α (0.05) showed that there were differences between the experimental group and the control group on baby development, so there is an effect of baby massage on the development of babies at the age of 3-6 months.

The problem of anemia in adolescent girls will have a negative impact on decreased learning concentration and later pregnancy. Based on data of Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (SDKI) in 2017, only 8% of young women answered correctly about the meaning of anemia and 23.4% answered they did not know about the cause of anemia. This study aims to determine differences in students knowledge about anemia and Tablets Added Blood (TTD) before and after health education through video media and Quizlet Applications. This research uses Quasi Experimental Design with Pretest-Posttest with Control Group Design. The sampling technique used Stratified Random Sampling for the experimental group of 30 respondents and the control group of 30 respondents. The results of the T-Dependent and T-Independent tests showed that there were differences in students knowledge about anemia and Tablets Added Blood (TTD) before and after health education through video media and Quizlet Applications, with a Pvalue 0,000. It is expected that Health Center and Schools can work together in providing health education through video media and the Quizlet Application by holding a Healthy Friday Program and the Health Center can employ specialized human resources educated in Information Technology (IT) to develop video media and online-based applications.

This research aims to determine the effect of the use of Discovery Learning on the results of learning Pkn in five grade students SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi This research is a type of experimental research in the form of Quasi-Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique using total sampling technique with the sample number 40students.This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% obtained count (4,28>2,03). The result of Civic learning obtained by the experimental group is higher than the control group, it is shown from mean 77,35 and the mean obtained by the control group is 74,1.

World Health Organization (WHO), cervical cancer is the number two cause of death in the world for women from all existing cancer. Every two minutes a woman dies of this disease. This cancer attack at an early stage does not cause any symptoms. That is why, why does this type of cancer fall into the category of the silent killer. One of the promotive and preventive efforts in women of childbearing age as primary prevention can be through the provision of health education about cervical cancer using the Acetic Acid Inspection (IVA) method. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of health education about IVA on WUS motivation in cervical cancer detection in health centers. Putri Ayu Jambi. This type of quantitative research with non randomized pretest-posttest with control group design, with purposive sampling technique totaling 22 WUS, 11 people as controls and 11 experimental people. The instrument in the form of questionnaires was analyzed by univariate and bivariate Paired Test t-test, which was conducted from April to July 2018.  The results of the study revealed that of the 22 WUSs studied, the average motivation of the pretest in the experimental group was 41.1818 and the control group was 39.9091, while the results of the posttest of the experimental group after being given counseling and leaflets increased by 42.9091 with p-value 0.034. There is an influence of health education about IVA tests on WUS motivation in detecting cervical cancer. It is suggested that the Puskesmas can improve activities in planning disease control programs, especially carrying out counseling and counseling both in the puskesmas building and in the working area of the puskesmas by involving cadres in their environment so that WUS is moved to take the IVA examination.

ABSTRACT: SEFT THERAPY (SPIRITUAL EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE) FOR ANXIETY IN DEALING WITH LABORBackground: If the concern and anxiety of pregnant women is not handled seriously, it will have an impact and influence on physical and psychological aspects, both on the mother and the fetus. Pregnant women who experience anxiety in the face of labor are afraid of being operated on, afraid of spending a lot of money, fear of not being able to care for their babies properly, fear of their baby dying, fear of pain during delivery. One of the techniques for dealing with anxiety is SEFT therapy.Objective: to determine the effect of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) on anxiety in dealing with labor process.Methodology: this research is a quasi-experimental design with pre and post-test with control group design. The sample in this study was 25 trimester III pregnant women. The sampling technique was using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used the DASS 42 questionnaire. The results of the data normality test were normally distributed so that the data were analyzed using the paired t-test.Results: The results showed that the average score of maternal anxiety before therapy was 13.48 (moderate) while after therapy was 7.88 (normal). The bivariate test results obtained p value 0,000.Conclusions: Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) can overcome the anxiety of pregnant women in facing labor.Suggestions: It is hoped that this therapy can be applied in the practice of midwifery to care for pregnant women, especially pregnant women who experience trauma or have anxiety in their pregnancy. Keywords: anxiety, pregnant women, spiritual emotional freedom technique. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kekhawatiran dan kecemasan pada ibu hamil apabila tidak ditangani dengan serius akan membawa dampak dan pengaruh terhadap fisik dan psikis, baik pada ibu maupun janin. Ibu hamil yang mengalami kecemasan dalam menghadapi persalinan disebabkan karena ibu takut dioperasi, takut akan mengeluarkan biaya yang banyak, takut tidak bisa merawat bayinya dengan baik, takut bayinya meninggal, takut kesakitan saat persalinan. Salah satu teknik untuk menghadapi kecemasan adalah denga terapi SEFT.Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) terhadap kecemasan dalam menghadapi persalinan.Metodologi penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan quasi-experimental dengan rancangan pre and post test with control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 25 ibu hamil trimester III. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner DASS 42. Hasil uji normalitas data berdistribusi normal sehingga dianalisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test.Hasil Penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skor rata-rata kecemasan ibu sebelum terapi 13,48 (Sedang) sedangkan sesudah terapi menjadi 7,88 (normal). Hasil uji bivariate didapatkan p value 0,000.Kesimpulan: Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) mampu mengatasi kecemasan ibu hamil dalam menghadapi persalinan.Saran: Diharapkan terapi ini dapat diaplikasikan dalam praktik kebidanan perawatan ibu hamil khususnya ibu hamil yang mengalami trauma atau mempunyai kecemasan dalam kehamilannya. Kata kunci: Kecemasan, ibu hamil, Terapi Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan Keterampilan Proces Sains (KPS) siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dan pembelajaran konvensional mengenai materi pokok elastisitas dan hukum Hooke di SMA. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain two groups pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Medan. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan observasi aktivitas KPS siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan pengujian hipotesis uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan KPS yang signifikan antara penerapan menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional dengan nilai sig. 0,000 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain Score dengan penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih tinggi dalam meningkatkan KPS siswa sebesar 0,70 dalam kategori tinggi dibandingkan KPS siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 0,59 dalam kategori sedang. Kata kunci: keterampilan proses sains; model pembelajaran inquiry training. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the differences in Science Proses Skills (SPS) of students using inquiry training learning model and conventional learning about the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law in High School. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with two groups of pretest-posttest design. The population of this research is all students of class XI MIPA in Public Senior High School 5 Medan. The sample was taken by a purposive sampling technique that consists of two groups, namely an experimental group and a control group. The data collected technique has been done by tests and observations activities SPS student. The data in this research was analyzed a hypothesis-testing t-test. The results showed significant differences in SPS between the application of using inquiry training learning models compared to conventional learning with the value of sig. was 0.000 at the significance of level 0.05. Based on the results of the N-Gain Score test with the application of the inquiry training learning model is higher in increasing SPS of the students by 0.70 in the high category compared to SPS of students with the application of conventional learning by 0.59 in the medium category. Keywords: science process skills; inquiry training learning model.

This research is intended to observe the effect of through sociodrama technique in improving students’ interpersonal communication skill at the tenth-grade students of SMK Ar-Rahman Misriadi Langkat. In the research methodology, the writer used quasi-experimental design, focusing on non- equivalent control group design. In addition, to decide the sample of the research the writer used non-probability sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling technique. There were twenty four  male students who had been chosen as the research sample.The sample chosen was classified based on the interpersonal communication  skill in the lower rate. Moreover, the instrument used to decide the sample was the instrument of interpersonal communication skill which provided four options on a Likert scale. The technique of analysis was carried out by using descriptive statistics which provided empirical mean to know the average scores between the pre-test and the posttest in the experimental group and controlled group respectively. The result showed that the score of Asymp. Sig were 0.000 which meant that the interpersonal communication skill of the male students Sig < 0.05. It can be concluded that the high number of increasing of interpersonal communication skill was experienced by the male students  in the experimental group than in the controlled group. Therefore, the result of this research was used to improve the interpersonal communication skill of the tenth- grade male students  at SMK Ar-Rahman Misriadi Langkat.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pembelajaran generatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi  matematis siswa berdasarkan kemampuan awal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 6 Pandeglang,  kelas XI yang berjumlah 9 kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling diperoleh kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalahThe nonequivalentpretest-postest control group design. Selama penelitian berlangsung kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran generatif sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap rataan gain ternormalisasi antara dua kelompok sampel. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa  yang  diberi  perlakuan model pembelajaran generatif  lebih tinggi  daripada siswa  yang mendapat model pembelajaran ekspositori; (2) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal matematis (KAM) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa; (3) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada siswa dengan KAM tinggi; (4) Tidak terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada siswa dengan KAM sedang dan rendah. Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran generatif, kemampuan awal matematika   Abstract This study aims to look at the effect of generative learning to improve students' mathematical communication skills based on early mathematic abilities. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were students of SMAN 6 Pandeglang, class XI which numbered 9 classes. The purposive sampling technique was obtained in class XI IPA 4 as the control class and class XI IPA 5 as the experimental class. The research design used was The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. During the research, the experimental group was treated with generative learning models while the control class used the expository learning model. Data analysis was performed on normalized gain average between two sample groups. The results of this study are (1) Increased mathematical communication skills of students who are treated with a generative learning model higher than students who get an expository learning model; (2) There is an interaction between the learning model and early mathematic abilities (EMA) on improving students' mathematical communication skills; (3) There is an increase in mathematical communication skills in students with high EMA; (4) There is no increase in mathematical communication skills in students with moderate and low EMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pengaruh pembelajaran kolaboratif terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Salah satu faktor rendahnya hasil belajar karena pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada pendidik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan populasi peserta didik kelas V SDN Leuwinutug 04. Hipotesis yang digunakan dengan menggunakan independent sample t-test dengan nilai sig 0,000<0,05 artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Jadi, kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kolaboratif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas V SDN Leuwinutug 04.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, IPS, pembelajaran kolaboratif.  COLLABORATIVE LEARNING MODEL AS ALTERNATIVE LEARNING ON SOCIAL SCIENCEABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the influences of collaborative learning on social sciences learning outcomes. One of the factors of low learning outcomes due to learning that is still focused on teachers (teacher-centered learning). The method used in this study is quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. This study used purposive sampling technique with population of class V students of SDN Leuwinutug 04. The analysis results by using independent sample t-test showed sig value 0,00 < 0,05 means that Ho is rejected and H1 accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that collaborative learning had significant influences on social sciences learning outcomes of class V students of SDN Leuwinutug 04.

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of learning media based on Augmented Reality to learning outcome of students 10th grade on the concept particle dynamics. This research was done in 10th grade science class: 2 and 4 in SMA 67 Jakarta. The research was done in October-November 2013. The research method is a quasi experimental with a noneqiuvalent control group design and the sampling technique is purposive. Instruments of the research are test (multiple choices) and non test(questionnaire). Data were analyzed quantitatively using the t test, questionare analyzed qualitatively. The conclution : there is the influence of augmented reality-based instructional media on learning outcome of students grade 10th on the concept particle dynamics. Average learning outcome experiment group is higher than control group. The experimental group superior on cognitive level (C1-C4). Carrying capacity of the media Augmented Reality on the learning process had teacher done is excellent category (83.24 %). DOI: 10.15408/tjems.v1i1.1111
