Indonesia Basic Health Research Data in 2018 shows that smokers in the 10-18 years age group increased to 9.1%. The phenomenon of smoking in adolescents in Indonesia has touched on educational institutions such as pesantren, where students are found to have smoked from an early age. This study aims to review the influence of students' perceptions of cigarettes based on smoking habits, cigarette advertisements and the image of cigarette companies to the smoking behaviour in students at Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study design using 40 students as research samples. We use modified structured questionnaire from the Smoke-Free Agents. Research shows 62.5% of students are active smokers. Based on the bivariate test, we found a relationship between perceptions of smoking habits and perceptions of cigarette advertising (p-value <0.05) to the smoking behaviour. In addition, we found that there is no relationship to the perception of the image of the cigarette company (p-value> 0.05). This study found a high percentage of students who smoked in the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School. Students' perceptions of smoking habits and students' perceptions of cigarette advertisements are related to students' smoking behaviour. The denormalization of cigarette products needs to be carried out by Islamic Boarding School Management to control smokers among students and prevent adolescent’s smoker.

For measuring psychometric properties, the scale was again administered on a sample of 300 participants. Moreover, for validation sample of 150 adults were selected by convenient sampling technique. The data was analysed with correlation, confirmatory factor analysis and reliability test. The results showed the correlation of test-retest administration in between .310 to .865 of the 26 items. The model fit summary of CFA showed a CFI of .905 p-value of .00 that is less than .05 so it confirmed the structure of the questions and their relations to the subscales were confirmed. The reliability of the subscales: choleric .970, sanguine .943, phlegmatic .744, and melancholic .766 and divergent validity was also confirmed using BFI-10. Finally, the translated English version of scale with 26 items was found reliable and valid at the end of analysis.

The sample in this study is Jumanior (elementary school students as larva monitoring juniors) of 40 people obtained by purposive sampling. The dependent variable are the knowledge and attitudes, independent variable is Jumanior’s motivation measured in the implementation of PSN by questionnaire. Data analized with a statistical test Chi Square. The results showed relationship between the level of knowledge and motivation with strong relationships and a positive direction (cc= 0.733 and p-value = 0.002) and relationship between attitude and motivation with the power relationships in a strong category, positive direction, (cc = 0.724 and p value = 0.014). Jumanior with good knowledge about the prevention of dengue fever will affect the attitude which will lead to Jumanior in implementing PSN. PSN should be included in the material in UKS or extracurricular engaged in the health sector, so that it can be a medium of information for students who play an important role in this regard as change agent in the home environment and health to maintain a healthy school environment.
