The background of this research is the problem of power point media management is one part of the problem of improving the quality of learning. The problems that occur in power point media management are not optimal planning, implementation, and assessment so that it has an impact on the quality of teachers and the quality of learning. The lack of success in power point media management is due to the less than optimal use of learning media implemented in each school that has not been managed optimally, the learning process has not reached the target effectively, the learning media has not been well managed, so that teachers have not been able to show the expected improvement in the quality of learning. The quality of education is something that must be considered and strived to achieve, because education will be in vain if the quality and graduates are low. It will be worse and worse if the educational output adds to the burden on the community, family and country. In general, the management of learning media at SMKN 1 Talaga Majalengka has not shown a satisfactory impact on improving the quality of teachers themselves, especially for students, this is influenced by many factors. Power point media management is still not optimal in improving the quality of learning. This research is a qualitative research which takes the background of power point media management to improve the quality of Islamic education learning at SMKN 1 Talaga Majalengka. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out by giving meaning to the data that was collected, and from that meaning it was concluded. Checking the validity of the data was carried out using triangulation by means of check recheck and cross checking.

School management is an activity that is carried out effectively and efficiently to improve school performance, including learning Islamic religious education. Therefore it is necessary to affirm that school management will be more organized and focused on goals. Schools that run a good managerial system will certainly pay attention to the quality of education in them so that learning in these schools will run optimally. The object of this research is Islamic education learning in schools with good school management. The research methodology used is qualitative research methods with descriptive methods. The findings in this study show that schools that carry out affirmation of school management will be able to encourage the success of Islamic Education learning in these schools.

<p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Studi ini mengkaji gagasan pendidikan Al Ittihadiyah meliputi bidang pendidikan dan metode pendidikan. Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kelangkaan referensi tentang organisasi asal Sumatera Timur ini, terutama gerakan dan gagasan Al Ittihadiyah dalam bidang pendidikan. Studi ini merupakan hasil penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari kegiatan studi dokumen yang dianalisis dengan metode analisis isi dan diperkaya dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara. Kajian ini mengajukan temuan bahwa Al Ittihadiyah berkontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam di Sumatera Timur, dimulai dari era Kolonial sampai pasca kemerdekaan. Sebagaimana organisasi Islam pembaharu lain, Al Ittihadiyah sebelum masa kemerdekaan telah melakukan pembaruan kurikulum dan metode pendidikan, sehingga organisasi ini berperan dalam memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan kaum Muslim di Nusantara. Tetapi belakangan ini, terlihat organisasi ini relatif kurang memainkan peran dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam mengingat lembaga-lembaga pendidikan tidak lagi dikelola oleh organisasi secara sentralistis.</p><p><br /><strong>Abstract: Al Ittihadiyah Education Modernisation Movement in East Sumatra, 1935-1975</strong>. This study examines the ideas of Al Ittihadiyah’s education in the fields of education and education methods. This study was motivated by the scarcity of references about organizations from East Sumatra, especially Al Ittihadiyah’s movements and ideas in the field of education. This study is the result of qualitative research. Data obtained from document study activities which was then analyzed by the method of content analysis and enriched using interview techniques. This study proposes findings that Al Ittihadiyah contributed to the development of Islamic education in East Sumatra, starting from the Colonial era to post-independence. As with other reforming Islamic organizations, Al Ittihadiyah prior to independence had carried out reforms in curriculum and educational methods, so that this organization played a role in improving the quality of education of Muslims in the archipelago. However, in the latest development, it appears that this organization has relatively little role to play in the development of Islamic education since educational institutions are no longer managed by organizations centrally.</p><p><strong>Kata Kunci:</strong> Al Ittihadiyah, pendidikan, Sumatera Timur, Melayu</p>

Vocational schools (SMK) is a secondary education that preparesstudents primarily for working on a particular field. Diverse efforts made by SMKgraduates increased 8 Medan include improving the quality of education byreforming both the substance of the material and the provision of facilities andinfrastructure. However, the results have not been up, cermatan can be seen fromthe low competence of graduates, making it less able to play a role in meeting thedemands of the workplace. Assumed to be an indication of the quality of learning isstill performed during less effective, less efficient and unable to increase studentinterest. In order to achieve maximum learning outcomes is through theimprovement of learning strategies to utilize the educational facilities in accordancewith existing conditions, ie, by examining one of the subjects namely Constructiondressmaking pattern. Construction material pattern done with learning strategyapproach manipulated into two comparing results STAD cooperative learningstrategies and learning strategies expository and compare the results with thelearning characteristics of students with high and low interest in learning onlearning outcomes Pattern Construction.

Abstract Education is the way to prepare the next generation with excellence and competitiveness and Islamic education is no exception. Islamic education, which aims to form the perfect man (insan kamil), is faced with complicated problems of globalization era characterized by the transformation of information. Islam must dominate the quality of education, to be both resistant and flexible with the times. To form a solid Islamic education takes various steps. Reconstruction of the essence and urgency of Islamic education is a way to drown out the dichotomy of science, since all sciences, according to Islam, comes from one authority. The concept of pluralism education should be done so that Muslims are not conflicted in the belief monopolistic practices. By understanding and accepting diversity, the nature of tolerance and inclusivity have been more mature so that Muslims are able to exchange thoughts for the future progress. The term "reconstruction" in this paper indicates that there has been existing paradigm used in Islamic education. However, this paradigm must now be designed or renewed so that Islamic education is able to build a democratic, religious, innovative, and ready person to face the challenges of the transformation of great and rapid information. Keywords: Islamic Education, Essence and Urgency of Islamic Education, Information Transformation, Islamic Education and Information Transformation Abstrak   Pendidikan adalah cara untuk menyiapkan generasi yang unggul dan memiliki daya saing. Tak terkecuali bagi pendidikan Islam. Pendidikan Islam yang bertujuan untuk menbentuk insan kamil dihadapkan pada permasalahan pelik akan derasnya globalisasi yang ditandai dengan era transformasi informasi. Mutu pendidikan Islam harus mendominasi, agar bersifat resisten dan fleksibel dengan perkembangan zaman. Untuk membentuk pendidikan Islam yang kokoh diperlukan berbagai macam langkah. Rekonstruksi essensi dan urgensitas pendidikan Islam merupakan cara untuk meredam dikotomi ilmu, karena pada hakikatnya semua ilmu menurut Islam bersumber dari satu otoritas. Pendidikan yang berwawasan pluralisme perlu dilakukan agar umat Islam tidak terbentur dalam praktik monopoli keyakinan. Dengan memahami dan menerima keberagaman, maka sifat toleransi dan inklusif semakin matang sehingga umat Islam mampu melakukan tukar pikiran demi kemajuan bersama. Term “rekonstruksi” di dalam paper ini mengindikasikan bahwa sebelumnya telah ada paradigma yang digunakan dalam pendidikan Islam. Hanya saja, paradigma tersebut kini harus dirancang atau diperbaharui kembali agar pendidikan Islam mampu membangun masyarakat yang demokratis, religius, inovatif, dan siap untuk menghadapi tantangan transformasi informasi yang begitu hebat dan pesat.   Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Islam, Essensi dan Urgensitas Pendidikan Islam, Transformasi Informasi, Pendidikan Islam dan Transformasi Informasi

Textbook is one of learning components that plays an important role in determining the success of learning. Textbook as a media and one of main resources in the learning process has a strategic role to be developed to improve the quality of learning and cultivate religiosity of the students. The cultivation of religious characters will be effective, efficient, and interesting if the available textbooks are combined with the Islamic education and characters contents. Those contents will create religious atmosphere and familiarize the students in practising their religiosity in everyday life. In this way, the competency of Islamic education and characters are combined with the competency of other subjects that are packaged in a learning experience. Thus the Islamic values will be formed in students characters.

As an effort to improve the quality of human resources, the development of human resources was important for the goverment to focus on improving the quality of education by provision learning processes with quality education personnel. This article aimed to discussed the principle management of educational staff of the Al-Qur'an perspective. This research was literature studies, namely by examining journals, books, research reports. The result showed that : (1) the Principle of Tawheed, covering the principle of unity of direction and unity of command; (2) Principles of justice and prosperity; (3) The principle of deliberation; (4) Principles of efficiency, effectiveness and productivity; (5) Disilpin principle, integrity and loyalty; (6) The principle of division of authority and responsibility; (7) Principle of Ukhuwah. An understanding of the management principle of the Al-Qur'an perspective in the management of Islamic education institutions will be able to contribute positively, including planning of education personnel, the process of recruitment, selection and placement, and the development of education personnel. Abstract. This article aims to determine the achievement of the standard education process at Cisaat 1 Public Middle School. This research is a descriptive qualitative research by collecting data in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the attainment of process standards at Cisaat 1 Public High School is 96.2% when compared to all the maximum scores that should be achieved in the standard process forms. This study recommends exploring the indicators that have not been optimally achieved, especially indicators of a maximum of 32 people. Although it feels good, empowerment, utilization and maintenance of the learning process in schools must be improved. This is intended to improve the quality of education and satisfaction of community expectations.Abstrak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketercapaian standar proses pendidikan di SMPN 1 Cisaat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitaian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian standar proses di SMPN 1 Cisaat sebesar 96,2% jika dibanding dengan seluruh skor maksimum yang seharusnya dicapai pada borang standar proses. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan untuk mendalami indikator-indikator yang belum tercapai dengan optimal khususnya indikator  rombongan belajar maksimum 32 orang. Meski dirasa telah baik, namun pemberdayaan, pemanfaatan dan pemeliharaan proses pembelajaran disekolah harus ditingkatkan. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan pemuasan harapan masyarakat.
