The research about the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting and Extending) model has been conducted in SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to detemine wheterthe application of CORE learning can improve achievement and the influence of application of CORE learning model in class XI IPA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru on the subject solubility aquilibrium (Ksp). The type of this research is experimental research with experiment design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class XI IPA 5 as an experimental class (implemented the CORE learning model) and class XI IPA 1 as the control class (without the CORE learning model). Test tecniques used as a tecnique in collecting research dats. T-test and coefficient determinasi was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t > t table is 5,71 > 1,66, meaning that the application of the CORE learning model can improve the student achievement on the subject solubility aquilibrium (Ksp) in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru with the great influence of implementation of the CORE learning model on improving learning achievement is 31,178%.

This research is aimed to determine the increase in student learning achievement toward the implementation of Osborn learning model on the subject of rate of reaction. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru on class XI MIA SMA. The research is an experimental study with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample of the study was students of class XI MIA 3 as an experimental class and students in class XI MIA 4 as a control class. The experimental class was applied to the Osborn learning model, while the control class was not treated. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis test tcount> ttable is 9,141 > 1.670, meaning that the application of Osborn's learning model can improve student learning achievement on the subject of rate of reaction in class XI MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.

The research has been conducted at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru which aims to improve student learning achievement on the subject of ion stoichiometry in class X MIPA. This type of research is an experimental study with adesign Randomized Control Group pretest-posttest.. The sample from the study was students of class X MIPA 3 as an experimental class. The experimental class is the class applied to the type Probing-Prompting type cooperative learning model. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis test, tcount> ttable is 3,59> 1.67, with value of its influence to student learning achievement is15,56%. It can be concluded that the application of Probing-Prompting type cooperative learning model can improve student learning achievement on the subject of ion stoichiometry in class X MIPA of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanabru with value of its influence to student learning achievement is 15,56%.

The research aims to improve student learning results on ion equilibrium and pH of salt solution in class XI IPA SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. This is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest design. The sample study was students of class XI IPA 2 as an experimental class and students in class XI IPA 1 as a control class. The experimental class is the class applied to the CORE learning model while the control class is not treated. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the data analysis test, tcount> ttable is 9,03> 1.66, meaning that the application of CORE’s learning model can improve student learning achievement on the subject of ion equilibrium and pH of salt solution in class XI IPA 6 SMAN 6 Pekanbaru

The aim of this research is to know the effect of CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting and Extending) learning models to students concept understanding of atomic strukture. This research is quasi experimental research with a nonequivalent control group. The population in the research is class X SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur. The samples in the research was X MIPA 2 as an experimental class and class X MIPA 5 as a control class which was determined randomly. The experimental class was treated with the implementation of CORE learning model while the control class with a scientific approach. Data was collected using essay test instruments. The data obtained from test were analyzed descriptively and statistically by the test-t right side. The results of data analysis obtained tcount = 5,63 and ttable = 1,66 with α = 0,05, dk = 74. Tcount > ttable is 5,63 > 1,66 meaning that the implementation of CORE learning model can improve students concept understanding on the subject of atomic structure in the class X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur. Criteria students concept understanding in the experimental class with an average N-gain of 0,80 while the average N-gain in the control class is 0,69.

This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of collaborative learning using open-ended approach and open-ended approach in terms of problem solving skillss students. This study is a quasi-experimental research with the entire population of ten graduate science students of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta which consists of four classes. The research samples were randomly selected from the four existing classes, in order to obtain class X MIPA 3 to be given collaborative learning model using open-ended approach and class X MIPA 1 to be given open-ended approach. Data analysis technique consists of one sample t-test used to investigate the effectiveness of collaborative learning model using open-ended approach and open-ended approach. The results show that collaborative learning model using open-ended approach is effective in terms of student’s problem solving skillss of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. But, open-ended approach isn’t effective in terms of student’s problem solving skillss of SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta.

Selection of the right learning model will increase the chances of achieving student learning success. The choice of learning model should pay attention to students' ability which is generally not the same among students one to another. The main factors are the various intelligence and student backgrounds. In addition, the absorptive capacity of the subject matter between students with one student is not the same so that affect learning outcomes achieved. Therefore, teachers need alternative learning model to overcome the diversity of student characteristics, one of them is with individual learning. However, the large number of students in the classroom and the various shortcomings in individual learning such as the effectiveness of learning, time, effort, and curriculum demands, as well as other obstacles, then individual learning is very unlikely to be implemented. An alternative that teachers can do is through the use of learning models that lead to programmed individual learning. The model of learning in accordance with the problem is Model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). The TAI model is designed as a learning model that combines individual learning with cooperative learning. With the TAI model, the weaknesses that exist in individual learning and on cooperative learning can be minimized with the advantages that exist in both. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of TAI Model on the results of IPS geography learning. This research includes quasi experiment type, using Pretest-posttest Control Group Design design. The subjects consisted of one experimental class and one control class, grade VII student SMPN 4 Lumajang. The research instrument is a test consisting of prates and pascates. The data analysis technique uses t-test with SPSS 16.00 for Windows. The result of data analysis shows that the learning result of IPS geography of students using TAI model is better than students who do not use TAI Model. Thus it can be argued that the use of TAI model influences the learning outcomes Geography IPS Geography students proposed for teachers in the field of study Geography is to make the Model TAI as an alternative model of learning to improve student learning outcomes. Suggestions for further research are piloting the TAI Model on different materials and levels of higher classes or schools, as well as combining with more varied learning media so as to show a great influence on student learning outcomes and gain greater benefits from the TAI Model. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Discovery Learning model on improving the ability to write fantasy stories of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih. This research is an experimental research (Experimental Research). Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used independent samples t test. The results stated that 1) The ability to write fantasy stories of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih after using the Discovery Learning learning model was in the high category. Then the ability to write fantasy stories using conventional learning models is in the high enough category; 2) There is an effect of the Discovery Learning learning model on the ability to write fantasy stories of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih based on the average value of the ability to write fantasy stories of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih after using the Discovery Learning learning model which is higher than the ability to write fantasy stories of students which uses conventional amounting to 90.00. Therefore, it can be that the Ho3 hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the Discovery Learning Model on the ability to write fantasy stories of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih.

This research is based on the problems that exist in SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, which have an impact on the low learning outcomes of students. Efforts that can be made are implement the learning model Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) with scientific literacy on respiratory system material at SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the competency of students through the model Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) with scientific literacy in the material of human respiratory system in SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. This type of research is experimental research with a Randomized control group posttest only design. The population in this study were all class XI IPA SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam registered in the 2018/2019. Sampling was done using technique Purposive Sampling, which was chosen as the sample of the study was class XI IPA 4 as the experimental and XI IPA 3 as the control class. The instruments used were in the form of questions posttest for knowledge competency, observation sheets for attitude and skills. The hypothesis was tested using the t-test, can be concluded that the competence of learners knowledge tcount 3,80 > ttable 1.67, the competence of attitude  value tcount 3,61 > ttable 1,67, and the competency of skills value tcount 2,00 > ttable 1.67. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. Concluded that the application of model Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) with scientific literacy can improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of students class XI IPA of SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam.

This research aims at investigating the impact of Communicative Language Teaching method on the improvement of students’ speaking ability. This is experimental research with non-randomized control group pretest posttest design. Class VII/A is the experimental research group, while class VII/B is the control group. Each of them consists of 22 students. Subjective test is used to collect the data about the students’ speaking ability in which the content is based on the curriculum used in the school. The data analysis used is t-test using SPSS version 16. The result of data analysis shows that p value is 0.016. The score is lower than 0.05. Seeing the result we can say that the null hypothesis (Ho) saying that there is no effect of using Communicative Language Teaching on speaking ability is rejected. It means that there is effect of using Communicative Language Teaching on the students’ speaking ability.Keywords: Communicative Language Teaching method, speaking ability.

The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of speed, agility, and quickness training on the reaction speed of the soccer goalkeeper. There are two groups, namely the experimental group with speed, agility, and quickness training and the control group with conventional training. The method used is experimental research using a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The analysis technique uses a dependent paired t-test. Different test results can be seen that the t-value calculated in the experimental group 9787, the control group with a value of 1.990. influence is obtained from the value of p = 0.000 <0.05, which means that the training methods of speed, agility, and quickness can increase the reaction speed of the soccer goalkeeper. Football goalkeeping coach recommendations in increasing reaction speed in order to provide speed, agility and quickness training.
