The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of speed, agility, and quickness training on the reaction speed of the soccer goalkeeper. There are two groups, namely the experimental group with speed, agility, and quickness training and the control group with conventional training. The method used is experimental research using a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The analysis technique uses a dependent paired t-test. Different test results can be seen that the t-value calculated in the experimental group 9787, the control group with a value of 1.990. influence is obtained from the value of p = 0.000 <0.05, which means that the training methods of speed, agility, and quickness can increase the reaction speed of the soccer goalkeeper. Football goalkeeping coach recommendations in increasing reaction speed in order to provide speed, agility and quickness training.

Background: Obesity remains the main malnutritional problem globally. One of the contributing factors is the imbalance diet eating behavior. This study aimed to analyze the effect of balanced diet education with media comic on modification of eating behavior in adolescents at middle school, Malang, East Java. Subjects and Method: A randomized control trial study was conducted at Middle School, Malang, East Java, in November 2018. A sample of 64 students was randomized into two groups: (1) Experiment group that received diet education using media comic, and (2) Control group that received no intervention. The dependent variables were knowledge, attitude, and skill of eating behavior. The independent variable was diet education using media comic. The data were analyzed by independent t-test. Results: After the intervention, the experimental group had higher mean of knowledge (Mean= 92.72; SD= 10.78), attitude (Mean= 83.23; SD= 18.13), and skill (Mean= 78.79; SD= 16.94) than the control group, including knowledge (Mean= 88.68; SD= 11.47), attitude (Mean= 87.60; SD= 8.60), and skill (Mean= 79.94; SD= 14.31), and it was statistically insignificant in each outcomes, (p= 0.151), (p= 0.223), and (p= 0.770) respectively. Conclusion: Diet education with media comic is effective in improving knowledge, attitude, and skill of eating behavior in students, but it is not statistically significant. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of sainsmatika-based storybooks to improve environmental awareness for students. The experimental research design was used in this study, which involved two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. Each class consisted of 30 students. The research subjects were 60 students of grade 4 students consisting of 36 female students and 24 male students. The analysis process used an independent t-sample test to find out the differences in each outcome. The results showed that based on the gain value obtained, it found out that the average value of the pre-test results in the control class was 49.47 and the posttest result was 67.41. This showed that the increasing score in the pre-test and post-test control classes only reached 2.34 which can be classified as low. Whereas in the experimental class, the results showed that the average pre-test results in the experimental class was 52.63, and the post-test results were 78.90. It means that the students' environmental awareness on pre-test and post-test results were 3.48, which was in the medium category. The results of the experimental research showed that the use of sainsmatika-based storybooks has a significant impact on students' environmental awareness. The results of hypothesis testing on environmental awareness variables showed that there were significant differences between the control group and the experimental group. The experimental group was better than the control group (t count 3.124 at level p 0.01).

The research about the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting and Extending) model has been conducted in SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to detemine wheterthe application of CORE learning can improve achievement and the influence of application of CORE learning model in class XI IPA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru on the subject solubility aquilibrium (Ksp). The type of this research is experimental research with experiment design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class XI IPA 5 as an experimental class (implemented the CORE learning model) and class XI IPA 1 as the control class (without the CORE learning model). Test tecniques used as a tecnique in collecting research dats. T-test and coefficient determinasi was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t > t table is 5,71 > 1,66, meaning that the application of the CORE learning model can improve the student achievement on the subject solubility aquilibrium (Ksp) in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru with the great influence of implementation of the CORE learning model on improving learning achievement is 31,178%.

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian  ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan bandul stroke with feeding untuk meningkatkan kemampuan groundstroke dalam permainan tennis. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan uji t-berpasangan. Populasi adalah mahasiswa prodi PKO Unimed, dengan jumlah 81 orang. Kelompok pertama adalah kelompok eksperimen dengan jumlah 40 orang dan kelompok kedua adalah kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 41 orang. Setiap kelompok dirandom untuk memperoleh sample dengan teknik Slovin. Pada kelas eksperimen jumlah sampel adalah 36 orang dan pada kelompok kontrol jumlah sampel adalah 37 orang. Pada kelas ekperimen diberikan perlakuan yaitu latihan bandul stroke with feeding sebanyak 16 kali pertemuan dengan frekuensi latihan tiga kali dalam satu minggu. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol tetap melakukan latihan seperti apa adanya. Pengukuran kemampuan groundstroke dengan groundstroke tennis tes yang dilakukan dua kali yaitu sebelum diberikan perlakukan dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Uji persyaratan analsis yaitu data harus berdistribusi normal dan juga homogen serta pengambilan sampel dari populasi adalah random. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh yang singnifikan dari latihan bandul stroke with feeding terhadap kemampuan groundstroke dalam bermain tennis lapangan. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol yang tidak diberikan latihan bandul stroke with feeding tidak menujukkan pengaruh yang singnifikan. Sangat disarankan kepada pelatih dan juga instruktur agar memberikan bentuk latihan ini kepada atletnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan teknik dalam bermain tennis yaitu groundstroke. The treatment was given for experimental group, namely bandul stroke with feeding. 16 times exercises with the frequency is three times a week. While in the control class, they still do the exercises as they are. Measuring the ability of a groundstroke with a groundstroke tennis test is done twice, before being given treatment and after being given treatment. Test requirements analysis are normally distributed and also homogeneous and sampling from the population is random. The results of this study is there are significant effects of bandul stroke with feeding on groundstroke abilities in playing tennis. Where as in the control group that was not given bandul stroke with feeding with conventional feeding or exercise did not show significant effect. It is strongly recommended for the tennis coach or tennis instructor to give this exercise to tennis athlete for improve their technical ability to play tennis, especially groundstroke. The purpose of this study was to determine and test the effect of the tactical approach model on students' interest in physical education learning. The method used is an experimental method with a Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was 249th grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Bayongbong, totaling 249 people. The sample chosen was 60 people taken by simple random sampling. Based on this technique, 30 experimental group samples and 30 control group samples were obtained. The instrument used to measure Physical Education interest is using a student interest scale test. Statistical calculations in testing hypotheses using SPSS 23 through paired t-test Paired sample t test. The results of data analysis showed that the tactical approach had an influence on students' interests with the Sig. 2-tailed 0.004 <0.05. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, it can be concluded that the tactical approach model has a significant influence on student interest

This study attempts to discover the effect of applying Small Group Work Strategy on students’ achievement in writing procedure text. It was conducted by using experimental research design. The population of this research was the nineth (IX) grade students of SMP N 1 Padang Bolak Julu which consists of 3 parallel classes with the total number of students is 90. The samples of this research were taken by random sampling through lottery technique. The result was class IX1 consisted of 30 students became the experimental group and class IX3 consisted of 30 students became the control group. The experimental group was taught by Small Group Work Strategy while the control group was taught by using individual work strategy. The instrument was used to collect the data was writing procedure text. After the data were analyzed, it was found that the value of t-observed was 3.37 with the degree of freedom (df) = 58 at the level significance 0.05. it means that t-observed was higher than t-table (3.37 > 2.00. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is reected and the hypothesis alternative (Ha) is accepted.Key words : Small Group Work Strategy, Writing Procedure Text.

The population of this research was the tenth (X) grade students of SMA N 6 Padangsidimpuan  which consists of 10 parallel classes with the total number of students is 64. The samples of this research were taken by random sampling through lottery technique. The result was class X1 consisted of 32 students became the experimental group and class X2 consisted of 32 students became the control group. The experimental group was taught by Personal Experiences Strategy while the control group was taught by using Big group work strategy. The instrument was used to collect the data was writing narrative text. After the data were analyzed, it was found that the value of t-observed was 4.25 with the degree of freedom (df) = 62 at the level significance 0.05. it means that t-observed was higher than t-table (4.25 > 1.997. The result of this study showed that teaching narrative text by using personal experiences strategy was higher than that by big group work. Keywords : Using Personal Experiences Strategy. This study was conducted to know the effect of applying Peer Review Strategy on the students’ achievement in writing descriptive paragraph. It was conducted by using experimental research method. This research design was conducted pre-test, post test in experimental and control group. The population of this research was the eight (VIII) grade students of SMP IT IQRA’ Medan. The sample of this research was taken by lottery technique. They were in class VIII-1 by experimental group and the class VIII-2 by control group. The experimental group was taught by using Peer Review Strategy while the control group was given no treatment. The instrument used to collect the data was writing essay test. The data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The result showed that the value of t-observed was higher than the value of t-table. (3,55 > 2,05 (a = 0.05)) with the degree of freedom (df) = 28. It means that there was a significant effect of applying Peer Review Strategy on the students’ achievement in writing descriptive paragraph. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.

This study is an attempt to discover the effect of applying Think-Talk-Write strategy on students’ achievement in writing descriptive text. The objective of this study were to find out whether applying Think-Talk-Write strategy affect the students’ achievement in writing descriptive text. This study was an experimental research. In conducting the research, the writer used 60 students of Al-Fattah Senior High School Medan as the sample. The 60 students were taken from two classes and they were divided into two groups namely the experimental group who was taught by using Think-Talk-Write strategy and the control group who was taught without Think-Talk-Write strategy. The data of the test were collected by administering written test. The data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The result of the analysis shows that the value of t-observed is higher than the value of t-table (2,3> 2,00 (α = 0.05)) with the degree of freedom (df) = N-2 = 58. It means that there is significant effect of applying Think-Talk-Write strategy on students’ achievement in writing descriptive text. So the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The conclusion is that applying Think-Talk-Write strategy can encourage and increase the students’ achievement in writing descriptive text. Therefore, it is suggested that English teacher should try to apply this strategy.
