The principal needs training to have managerial skills to optimize his performance. Otherwise, several studies have shown the opposite. This study aims to examine the effect of exercise and managerial skills on principal performance. This study is field research with a simple path analysis design. Data were obtained through questionnaires, observation, and documentation study. This study shows that there is an effect of training and principal managerial skills on principal performance. This indicates that the more intense the principal attends training and has a deep understanding of training material, the higher the principal organizational skills are. The higher the principal managerial skills are, the higher the quality of the principal performance is, which in turn increases the rate of the school.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena minat baca siswa dan pengaruh minat baca terhadap pertumbuhan kemampuan belajar siswa pada jenjang-jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Kepala sekolah sebagai lokomotif perkembangan mutu pendidikan memiliki peran strategi bagi pengumbuhan dan pengembangan minat baca peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator, manajer, dan innovator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif lapangan, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi, serta dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik meliputi meliputi tiga pembinaan, yakni pembinaan mental dan moral, serta pembinaan artistik. 2) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai manajer dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam meliputi penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen dengan didasarkan pada pada kerjasama dengan USAID dan UIN Walisongo Semarang. 3) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai innovator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam Kota Semarang meliputi inovasi strategi, pola pikir (mindset) dan struktur. Abstract This research is motivated by the phenomenon of reading interest of students and the influence of reading interest on the growth of students' learning ability in the next level of education. The principal as a locomotive of the development of the quality of education has a strategic role for the growth and development of reading interest of learners. This study aims to determine the role of principal as an educator, manager, and innovator in the development of reading interest of learners in MIT Nurul Islam Semarang City. This research is a qualitative field research, data collected through observation, interview, documentation and triangulation, and analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The role of principal as an educator in the development of reading interest of learners includes three activities are coaching, namely mental and moral coaching, and artistic coaching. 2) The role of principal as manager in the development of reading interest of learners at MIT Nurul Islam covers the application of management functions based on cooperation with USAID and UIN Walisongo Semarang. 3) The role of principal as innovator in the development of reading interest of learners at MIT Nurul Islam Semarang City includes innovation strategy, mindset, and structure.

Entrepreneurship of principals in the educational environment to enhance students' creative behavior and achievements through innovation and the development of learning methods is very important. The principal has the task of managing resources and taking advantage of opportunities in improving the quality of education. This study aims to discuss the significant variables in increasing entrepreneurship principals. The study uses a quantitative approach with path analysis. The research sample was 334 Principals of Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High Schools in Central Java Province. Data collection was carried out by studying documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis was performed by path analysis with the AMOS program. The results showed that the rank and tenure as a teacher had a positive and significant effect on the tenure as a principal. While the use of social media has a significant negative effect. Of the various independent variables observed, only the existence of opportunities that had a significant positive effect on the ability of innovation of the principal. While the variables that significantly influence the development of learning methods are the ability of innovation and the presence of opportunities. The development of learning methods and the existence of opportunities will subsequently have a positive effect on improving student achievement, as the ultimate goal of developing entrepreneurship by the principal. Pathways to improve the entrepreneurship of principals are the existence of opportunities, tenure as principal, innovation and the development of instructional media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji, menganalisis menginterprestasi kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, Quality of Work Life Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Perilaku Pada Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriftip analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. dan metode analisis yang digunakan Analisis Path/ Path Analysis. Data diperoleh dari Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar dan Responden adalah karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menemukan bebe-rapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar, antara lain Kepemimpinan, Kepuasan Kerja, Quality of Work Life dan Perilaku. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan ter-hadap perilaku karyawan. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karya-wan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karyawan.  This study aims to examine, analyze leadership interpretation, job satisfaction, Quality of Work Life Against Employee Performance Through Behavior at the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City. This research is a descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach and a qualitative approach. And the analytical method used is Path Analysis. Data obtained from the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City and respondents were employees. The results of this study can find several factors that affect employee performance in the Makassar City Dynasty Hotel. These include leadership, job satisfaction, quality of work life and behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior.

Abstrak: Kualitas pembelajaran dan minat belajar memungkinkan hasil belajar mahasiswa meningkat. Sehingga diharapkan kualitas pembelajaran dan minat belajar mahasiswa tinggi untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang tinggi pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bahwa kualitas pembelajaran dan minat belajar mahasiswa berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa Akuntansi pada mata kuliah Matematika Ekonomi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan meggunakan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis), dimana terdapat dua variabel eksogen dan satu variabel endogen.  Variabel eksogen berupa kualitas pembelajaran dan minat belajar, sedangkan variabel endogen berupa hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Kualitas Pembelajaran berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap Hasil Belajar, Minat Belajar berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap Hasil Belajar, dan Kualitas Pembelajaran berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap Minat Belajar Mahasiswa. Abstract:  The quality of learning and interest in learning allows student learning outcomes to increase. It is hoped that the quality of learning and student interest in learning will be high to achieve high learning outcomes. This study aims to see that the quality of learning and student interest in learning has an effect on improving student learning outcomes in Accounting Economics Mathematics courses. This research is a survey research using path analysis technique, where there are two exogenous variables and one endogenous variable. Exogenous variables are learning quality and learning interest, while endogenous variables are learning outcomes. The results of this study are Learning Quality has a direct positive effect on Learning Outcomes, Learning Interest has a direct positive effect on Learning Outcomes, and Learning Quality has a direct positive effect on Student Learning Interest.

Background: Communication skills are essential for nurses in providing health services. Efficacious communication will impact in the quality of care and patient safety. This manuscript is to identify factors predisposing implementation of effective nurse communication. Method: This study that data was retrieved uses systematic review design. Data was retrieved from database ProQuest, SCOPUS, EBSCO, Science-Direct, JSTOR, and Wiley-Online in the period of 2011 – 2017. The study was done for journal, article and literature review by applying the keywords nurse communication, health’s communication, effective communication of nurse. Results: A total of 12518 studies was found from six databases. From, the number of these direct search, systematic review identifies conformity based on the title, so that it obtained 31 studies with a title that suitable for a selected discussion. The total of selected papers were 16 studies and identified Efficacious communication. Analysis result from the paper research was there were 16 papers that complement the criteria determined. Six factors are identified to have effect in an implementation of effective nurse communication: (1) intelligence and self-efficacy, (2) Communication Skills, (3) Work Experience, (4) Perceptions, (5) Socio-cultural, and (6) Organization culture.

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of waters, community structure of phytoplankton and zooplankton around the fishponds waters of Gerokgak Subdistrict. This research was conducted for 2 months, from May to June 2019. There were three sampling locations, namely in Gerokgak, Patas and Sumberkima Villages. The research method used was field research using quantitative analysis of phytoplankton biological indice. The waters condition around the Gerokgak Subdistrict waters was rather polluted, except for the around Sumberkima Village waters. The quality of the waters of Sumberkima Village was better than that of Gerokgak Village and Patas Village waters. Plankton abundance in the waters of Sumberkima Village was slightly low. The highest abundance of plankton in the waters of Patas Village and the lowest in Gerokgak Village waters. The dominant type of plankton was Cyanophyceae (blue-green algae).
