Local wisdom-oriented learning in elementary schools in the city of Ternate has not been implemented optimally. In general, schools have implemented thematic learning that should contain local wisdom. Ethnopedagogy is the actualization of learning oriented to the cultivation of local wisdom values. Ethnopedagogic aproach in elementary schools need to be implemented through strategies and innovative learning media that are able to attract students' attention to understand and apply local wisdom. This study aims to integrate Cloves as an identity flora in North Maluku in the implementation of an ethnopedagogic aproach at elementary schools in Ternate. This study uses a qualitative approach with a mixed method of research instruments consisting of observation sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis technique with concurrent triangulation strategy. The results showed that the ethnopedagogical approach implemented through learning activities using cloves as a spice study object in North Maluku was an effective alternative to local wisdom-based learning applied in elementary schools in Ternate city. Through the integration of cloves in an ethnopedagogical approach, it can improve scientific literacy skills and students' learning motivation. This study recommends that the ethnopedagogical approach can be implemented with innovative learning activities based on local wisdom.

Science is a field of study that is closely related to daily life. However, students are less skilled and have difficulty connecting science concepts with problem-solving in their environment. This article is a Define phase that aims to describe how to apply life skills and understand, feel, and trace from the teachings of Ki Hajar Dewantara on integrated science-based digital worksheets in science learning. Data collection techniques using documentation that is from the study of literature about integrated science, lifeskill and the teachings of Ki Hajar Dewantara. Integrated science-based digital worksheets that are developed by applying life skills and ngerti, ngrasa, nglakoni can be displayed with a variety of innovative learning models. Application of the steps of the model will be able to bring up the type of life skills that are developed and also develop tringo in the learning activities of students.

Science learning in Indonesia has not succeeded in increasing scientific literacy skills, as indicated by the decreasing international ranking from year to year. One of the efforts made to improve scientific literacy is using Android-based learning media. This study aims to analyze the need for the development of instructional media to improve students' scientific literacy at MTs Al Uswah Bergas Semarang Regency. This type of research is a descriptive study that is to describes the current situation. The data instruments used were interviews, observation, and questionnaires. The results of the research on the analysis of the needs for learning media based on android showed that 38% of the 80 students, namely 30 students agreed to develop Android-based learning media, while 29% of the students showed disagreement, 21% strongly agreed, and 12% strongly disagreed. There are aspects of literacy then students including; literacy as mastery of science as knowledge was 63%, 66% as a way of thinking, 62% of scientific literacy as a way of learning, 62% of the aspects of mastery of the competence of the interaction of science, technology, and society. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the development of Android-based mobile learning media to improve students' scientific literacy

This study aims to find out: (1) Student learning activities in IPS (Social Sciences) learning on the application of scramble learning model using puppet hero media (Puppet Heroes), and (2) Improvement of IPS learning outcomes after application of learning model of scramble using media of wayang heroes. Data collection using observation and test, while for data analysis technique using the analysis technique of classical and individual completeness. From the research result, it can be concluded that: (1) learners are more active in IPS learning on the application of scramble learning model by using puppet hero media, students play an active role, motivated, cooperate with increasing concentration and speed of thinking during learning process in cycle I. the observation of teacher activity on the learning process conducted by observer I and observer II during social science learning process (IPS) in cycle I average aspects of teacher activity is 3.63 with very good criteria and the average aspects of the activities of learners that is 3.37 with good criteria, and (2) There is an increase in learning outcomes of IPS learners after the application of the model of learning scramble using the media of wayang heroes. This is indicated by the results of learning seen through the average scores of classes in the first cycle is 80.21 with the criteria achieved and meet the KKM 70, reaching the percentage of learning mastery learners classically that is 100%, with 85% classical completeness.

This study aims to apply innovative learning methods. New methods that are expected to provide references for teachers, especially low-class teachers. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques are based on observations that cover several aspects. Observations are carried out in stages by comparing classes that apply the new method and those that do not. The data analysis technique is done by qualifying the observational data. The research results are shown based on observations by the teacher during the learning activities. There are differences when learning with the same material, but delivered by different methods. That is because the new method has several advantages, among others: children are more enthusiastic to play together, familiarize children with tolerance by not picking friends, class conditions more orderly, creating a pleasant atmosphere, and training children to work while learning in group dynamics.

The scientific literacy skills of Indonesian students are still low. This condition encourages the government to improve the ability to solve problems, namely by issuing Permendikbud Number 65 of 2013 concerning the standards for the process of primary and secondary education, including the development of the domain of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This development research aims to produce science learning tools on the topic of classification of living things in class VII of the SMP Negeri which are valid, practical and effective. Development research refers to the device development model with phases 1) Identifying problems, 2) Describing objectives, 3) Designing and developing devices, 4) Performing tests, 5) Evaluating test results, and 6) Communicating test results. Data was collected using instruments and evaluation questions. All data collected was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning device was declared valid. Practical learning tools are used based on the results of the lesson plan implementation and student responses. Learning tools are also effectively based on results 1) cognitive assessment 2) psychomotor, social, and spiritual assessment, 3) critical thinking assessment, 4) student activity on teaching and learning activities and, 5) teacher response to teaching and learning activities.

This study aims to integrate the local wisdom of the traditional engklek game into problem-solving-based mathematics learning at the elementary school level. The method used in this study is a mixed-method with an explanatory design. The data analysis technique used in this study was random sampling and data collection was carried out by distributing observation sheets about student process skills, student learning interest questionnaires and conducting interviews with students and teachers at the school. Based on the results obtained by the researchers, it can be found that there is interest in learning and skills of students in grades IV A and IV B in the engklek game in mathematics subjects at State Elementary Schools. In addition, there is a relationship between students' interest in learning and students' process skills in mathematics subjects at State Elementary Schools. AbstractThe study is to provide an alternative science learning model of an elementary school that can invite students to improve science literacy. As observations and questionnaires of researchers in a preliminary study at two elementary schools in the city of Cirebon, West Java, it was found that based on the average results of the initial analysis of scientific literacy tests of students from the two schools, an average of 85.7% showed negative results with the ability to answer the practice of science questions in the form of literacy, which means that students have not been able to answer literacy questions test. The research method uses model development the ASSURE development model starting with Student analysis; setting goals; choose a method, media / material, use media & material; activating student involvement as well as evaluations & revisions developed by Sharon Smaldino. As for the preliminary study conducted by analyzing 5th-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) PGM and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI)  An-Nur Cirebon as samples and also observing teachers from the two schools, so this research produces a SIBELPOLEN model for science learning, which consists of teaching syntax, teacher roles, support system, accompaniment impact, instructional impact and designing lesson plans that can improve Science literacy competence of elementary school students.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif model pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di sekolah dasar dalam  meningkatkan literasi sains pada siswa. Hasil observasi dan angket peneliti dalam studi pendahuluan di dua Sekolah Dasar di Kota Cirebon Jawa Barat diketahui bahwa berdasarkan rata-rata hasil analisis awal tes literasi sains siswa dari dua sekolah tersebut rata-rata 85,7% menunjukkan hasil negatif dengan kemampuan menjawab soal latihan soal IPA berupa literasi yang artinya siswa belum mampu menjawab soal tes literasi. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan pengembangan model ASSURE yang diawali dengan Student analysis; menetapkan tujuan; pilih metode, media / material, gunakan media & material; mengaktifkan keterlibatan siswa serta evaluasi & revisi yang dikembangkan oleh Sharon Smaldino. Learning media is very useful to help students understand the concepts of learning material provided. The use of innovative learning media is still limited to the learning process, especially thematic learning. Thematic innovative learning media is more specifically developed with STEM-based learning based on 4C capabilities, namely the Media Electrical Tandem Roller (ETR). Media development is carried out using the Focus General Discussion (FGD) Method with a qualitative approach. The process of implementing this FGD stage involved the development team of STEM learning tools that aims to validate the media produced without going through field trials. ETR media based on the ability of 4C in elementary schools has been produced for STEM learning. This innovative learning media is expected to be used, especially for teachers in thematic learning in elementary schools.

<p>The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the free inquiry learning model on scientific literacy skills of students on biodiversity material. This research was conducted in July to October 2019. The research method used true experimental with a population of all classes X SMA Negeri 6 Tasikmalaya as many as 7 classes with a total of 248 students. The samples used were 2 classes taken by cluster random sampling, namely class X MIPA-5 as a control class and class X MIPA-6 as an experimental class. The research instrument was in the form of a scientific literacy skill test in the form of multiple choices on biodiversity material, amounting to 48 questions. The data analysis technique used is the parametric statistical test (t test). <br />2 <br />Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an influence of the free inquiry learning model on the scientific literacy skills of students on biodiversity material in class X SMA Negeri 6 Tasikmalaya in the academic year 2019/2020.</p>

Environment-based learning is needed to increase student’s activity through environmental empowerment, which can solve the problems in society as well as to improve students’ scientific literacy. The objective of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of environment-based thematic learning on fourth grade by contextual approach in improving students' scientific literacy skills. This research is a quasi-experimental research by implemented Environmental-Based Thematic Learning Tools (EBTLT). The subject of this research is determined by purposive cluster. They were 25 students as control class, 33 students as the experiment class 1, and 27 students as the experiment class 2. The data analysis was used completeness test, N-Gain analysis, and independent sample t-test. The results showed that the first experimental class and second experimental class students achieve classical completeness > 75%, the value has increased after implemented EBTLT in high category. The average score of science literacy skills and student activity in both experimental class was higher than that of the control class. It can be concluded that students who received EBTLT more effective in improving science literacy skills than students who received basic learning and the activities can create character values for learners
