The scientific literacy skills of Indonesian students are still low. This condition encourages the government to improve the ability to solve problems, namely by issuing Permendikbud Number 65 of 2013 concerning the standards for the process of primary and secondary education, including the development of the domain of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This development research aims to produce science learning tools on the topic of classification of living things in class VII of the SMP Negeri which are valid, practical and effective. Development research refers to the device development model with phases 1) Identifying problems, 2) Describing objectives, 3) Designing and developing devices, 4) Performing tests, 5) Evaluating test results, and 6) Communicating test results. Data was collected using instruments and evaluation questions. All data collected was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning device was declared valid. Practical learning tools are used based on the results of the lesson plan implementation and student responses. Learning tools are also effectively based on results 1) cognitive assessment 2) psychomotor, social, and spiritual assessment, 3) critical thinking assessment, 4) student activity on teaching and learning activities and, 5) teacher response to teaching and learning activities.

The aims of this study is to describe the ability of scientific literacy of students in Adiwiyata’s school on three aspects, they are content, context, and attitude. The importance of having scientific literacy is one of the competencies must be possessed in 21st century education. Adiwiyata School is one of the concrete steps of the government to instill the principles and competences of scientific literacy. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The research sample was taken using simple random sampling technique. The data collection was carried out by distributing questions and questionnaires to students in Adiwiyata School. Then, the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics by referring to categorization norms. The results showed that the scientific literacy ability of elementary school students in Adiwiyata School was in the high category. Furthermore, the ability of scientific literacy aspects of attitudes in Adiwiyata school students is in the high category namely X> 53.6. While the ability of scientific literacy in the aspect of content included in the category is quite low. The acquisition of scientific literacy skills in students at Adiwiyata school is believed to be influenced by the characteristics of the school in internalizing the values of science in teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Keywords: adiwiyata, scientific literacy, content, and contextABSTRAK.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi sains siswa di sekolah Adiwiyata pada tiga aspek, yakni konten, konteks, dan sikap. Pentingnya memiliki Literasi sains menjadi salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki dalam pendidikan abad 21. Sekolah Adiwiyata menjadi salah satu langkah konkrit pemerintah untuk menanamkan prinsip dan kompetensi literasi sains. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan soal dan kuesioner kepada siswa di Sekolah Adiwiyata. Kemudian, data di analisis dengan menggunakan Statistik Deskriptif dengan merujuk pada norma kategorisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar di Sekolah Adiwiyata berada pada kategori tinggi. Selanjutnya, kemampuan literasi sains aspek sikap pada siswa sekolah Adiwiyata berada pada kategori tinggi yakni X > 53,6. Sedangkan kemampuan literasi sains pada aspek konten termasuk dalam kategori cukup rendah. Pemerolehan kemampuan literasi sains pada siswa di sekolah Adiwiyata diyakini dipengaruhi oleh ke-khas-an sekolah dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai sains dalam aktivitas belajar mengajar di kelas.Kata kunci: adiwiyata, literasi sains, konten, konteks, sikap

<p>The research is motivated not yet using CTL approach. In addition, the study provided yet foster the character value of students. This study aimed to the development of learning materials by using CTL approach with the integration of character value are valid, practical, and effective. The type of this research is research and development by using 4-D models. The stages of this research are define, design, and development. The define stage consists of analyzing of curriculum, students, and concept. Then, the learning materials as lesson plan, handout, student’s worksheet, and evaluation, were designed at design stage. The development stage was doing validity, practicality, and effectiveness test. The data of this research was collected by using validation instruments, questionnaire of students and teacher, observation and test instruments. The result of research with validity of the test results showed that the syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets and assessment sheets (cognitive, affective and psychomotor) developed very valid. The test results showed that the learning practicalities developed very practical. Based on the results of efficacy trials, it was stated that the developed learning very effectively used as learning tools are developed to improve the activity and competence of students in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor and behavioral character. And Those, learning materials by using CTL approach with the integration of character values are classification of very valid, very practical, and effective.</p>

The application of the Student Teams Achievement Division and Tournament (STADAT) learning method is a Class Action research conducted on class VIII-I students of SMP Negeri 1 Banjar. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The first cycle discusses the Government System in Indonesia, consisting of (1) planning, namely making learning tools (RPP-1, test questions, measuring teacher teaching and learning), (2) actions (teaching and learning teachers in class), (3) observing collaborators during teaching and learning activities. ) and (4) Reflection (discussing the strengths and weaknesses of teaching and learning activities between teachers and collaborators). Data obtained from formative tests, interview results and qualifications. The second cycle is carried out like the first cycle with material, namely Presentation of Indonesian State Sovereignty. From the research data, it is obtained that the application of STADAT cooperative learning with the Quetion Ask Card (QA) media can improve the cultural behavior and national character of grade VIII-I students. The average proportion level of increased action increased from 71.88% (satisfactory behavior) in cycle I to 85.00% (very good behavior) in cycle II. The average completeness of student learning was 59% in cycle I, increasing to 88% in cycle II.

This research is motivated by efforts to improve scientific literacy skills and build the skills of 21st century students by developing the concept of Android-based science learning devices. Learning device are developed so that students can learn independently, quickly, practically, not limited by time and space, and students are ready to compete in the global world. This study aims to describe the feasibility of developing Android-based science learning tools for college students. This device was developed with a 4-D model by Thiagarajan. The tools developed are: RPP, e-book, LKM and evaluation tools. The research subjects were college UNIROW students who took the Science Concept 2018/2019 course. Collecting data using questionnaires and observations, then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. From the results of the validation and test results, it can be concluded that the learning tools developed are categorized as good, valid and suitable for use in learning.

In the implementation of learning activities that occur at SD Plus Pesantren Al-Anwar, problems when implementing learning activities, among others, are the media used are not supportive, teachers use learning resources in the form of books and have not used certain learning media. This is the cause of students tend to be passive in learning activities. When learning theme 3 sub-theme 2 learning 2 in class IV the teacher uses image media in teaching and learning activities, making students less understanding of the material. As a result, students are less interested in teaching and learning activities. This research was conducted in class IV, which consisted of 20 students. In the development research that has been carried out, it is expected to be able to provide a good influence for students, the Fun Thinkers book media is to foster student learning activities and achievements and must use media that can foster student interest in learning so that they are enthusiastic in undergoing the learning process. Research using the ADDIE model which passes through 5 stages.

This research was motivated by the lack of learning tools that can improve students' Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM). Activities that can encourage students to improve KKM have not been designed by the teacher in the learning device properly. This study aims to produce learning tools by applying Problem Based Learning models to improve KKM. This development research used the ADDIE development model with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of Syllabus, RPP, LKPD and KKM validation results showed highly valid criteria with percentages of 91.67%, 91.30%, 89.09%, and 87.15%, respectively. Practicality results indicate a very practical criterion with the percentage of small group trials at 95.57%, large group trials at 96.07%, and teacher responses at 96.25%. The effectiveness test results state that KKM of students who use learning tools with PBL models is better than KKM of students who use conventional learning.

This study aims to develop contextual learning tools for Islamic Education through contextual learning that is valid, practical and effective. The subject of this study was students grade seven Junior High School on odd semester of Rejang Lebong. This research is a development research whose procedure consists of ten steps, namely: (1) problem identification, (2) information collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design improvement, (6) product testing , (7) product revisions, (8) usage trials, (9) final product revisions, 10) mass production, so that the syllabus, teaching implementation plan, modules and worksheets are valid, practical and effective. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, questionnaire, and test results. The data collected was analyzed by percentage. The results of this study are: syllabus, teaching implementation plan, modules and Student Worksheets that have been validated by the validator are valid. Then based on the response of students to the module and student worksheet grade seven Islamic Education in Rejang Lebong is practical. then the teaching implementation plan, modules and Student Worksheets provided in the learning process are effective.

As educators in schools, teachers have some duties and responsibilities not only to teach, but also to administer the school. Islam gives an overview of the duties and responsibilities for teachers in educational administration. The purpose of this paper is to propose a logical consequence of the professionalism of teachers in Islamic education. The professional duties of teachers as administrators in Islamic Education among others are to run instructional management and management in general such as managing school, utilizing the procedures and mechanisms to carry out their duties and act in accordance with the professional ethics. Besides, they also have to create a good physical condition of classrooms and qualified teaching tool, prepare for daily teaching, create conducive conditions so that learners have willingness to learn, design a lesson plan quarterly and annually, prepare for teaching in accordance with the schedule and lesson plan, evaluate and make a report of students’ achievement to several parties, make some revision based on the results of the evaluation, get to know the talents, interests and abilities of students, help students to improve and direct the talents and interests of students, participate and maintain reputation of the institution and write a report of teaching and learning activities. All in all, teachers also have a responsibility given by Allah to do their best in teaching.

Teaching materials are one of the important components needed in the learning process. With the appropriate teaching materials, it is hoped that it can help the smooth running of learning activities. Science is a compulsory subject for elementary school students. Science contains all things related to nature. Teaching materials that have been used in learning activities are teaching materials made by the government. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of students for context-based teaching materials and creativity to improve the scientific literacy of elementary school students. The research subjects were students from several elementary schools in Peukan Bada District, 25 students were used as the source of interview data. Data were collected using interviews and open questionnaires for students. The research data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop context-based teaching materials and creativity. Context and creativity-based teaching materials were chosen because they can facilitate students to learn, both with educators and independently. Context-based teaching materials and creativity are teaching materials that are packaged in a comprehensive and schematic manner. This study is also part of a study on the development of teaching materials on the topic of human and animal organism.

This research is aimed at developing active learning tools to improve the effectiveness of the instructional strategy lectures at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of State Institute for Islamic Studies (FITK IAIN) Mataram. The method of this research is research and development (R&D) that was started with the process of needs assessment, the design of prototype of active learning tools that were tested in the next process by meansof expert validation, one to one, small groups, whole class, and effectiveness trials. The result of the trials on the developed product showed that its use had been effectively improved the students contribution during teaching and learning activities if compared to the students contribution in conventional learning process.
