The advanced development of information and communication technologybrings a significant impact on the way of how human learn. The e-learning orInternet-based and online learning has been widely used in a variety of learning activities as a suplement to the conventional in-class learning, flipped classroom etc. The term e-learning refers to learning activities conducted by the use ofInternet. Universitas Terbuka (UT) utilizes e-learning program in the form of online tutorial. The online tutorial is basically a form of learning support provided by UT to facilitate student to learn. The online tutorial consists of three major learning activities including reading, discussion and assignment. During online tutorial student must complete the assigned activities and interaction with peers, tutor and digital learning resources. Online tutorial can be seen as an instrumental tool that provide an opportunity for students to expandhis/her knowledge and skills beyond the provided printed and digital module. Tutors should be able to design online learning programs that can be used to facilitate students in expanding their knowledge and skills. The purpose of this study is to elaborate conceptually the use of constructivism learning theory in online tutorial of the open and distance learning higher institution.

Recommender systems in e-learning contexts typically try to “intelligently” recommend actions to a learner based on the actions of previous learners. One of the limitations of such systems is that a lot of data is needed in order to recommend meaningful activities. This chapter describes one approach for addressing this limitation in a framework that uses a structured map of mathematics concepts and processes to power a recommender system that will recommend to students digital learning activities for which they are ready. This recommender system is called Metis, for the Greek goddess of good advice, and is currently in the design phase. Metis takes seriously the idea that to build on the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) that a student has, it is essential to identify those KSAs. Trying to build on KSAs that a student does not have is misguided. Metis recommends activities linked to KSAs that students are ready to learn, and more standard recommender algorithms further refine the list of recommended activities. Taking this approach has the potential to make activities more engaging, which can lead learners to greater interest in the content area.

Covid-19 or often called the Corona Virus is an outbreak of a disease that originated or was first discovered from China, the disease spreads rapidly throughout the world. The Covid-19 spread to Indonesia in early March 2020. The spread of the Corona virus caused quite a number of losses to our country, namely Indonesia, especially in the economic field, and spread to the field of education, Covid-19 also drastically changed the learning model, from learning conventionally and now learning is done online, from face to face and now it can only be via the application, which is affected starting from elementary school (SD) to college level. Online learning activities at Lambung Mangkurat University have been quite effective by using the Google Classroom application, Google Meet and E-learning. This article explores the flipped-classroom learning cycle and traditional blended-learning cycle from the experiential learning-theory perspective, according to which we proposed three teaching strategies: high-flipped classroom (high-FC), low-flipped classroom (low-FC), and Traditional Blended Learning (traditional BL). And, the three teaching strategies are adopted in the course of Enterprise Resource Planning System. The purpose is to investigate the effects of learning outcomes and satisfaction among high-FC, traditional BL, and low-FC. This research adopts a quasi-experimental method. The sample for the study is a compulsory course of the Information Management Department of the University of Science and Technology in Taiwan, with a total of 94 students in two classes. There are several research conclusions. (1) The three groups of t test results found that there are significant differences in the learning outcomes of the system skills. high-FC is better than low-FC, low-FC is better than traditional BL, and high-FC is better than traditional BL. However, there are no significant differences in the learning outcomes of process knowledge. (2) The results of ANOVA testing showed that students have the highest perceived learning outcomes for high-FC, followed by low-FC and traditional BL. (3) The results of ANOVA testing showed that students have the highest perceived learning satisfaction in high-FC, followed by low-FC, and the lowest is traditional BL. (4) The t test result shows that students are more satisfied with preview e-learning than review e-learning. The study findings provide several implications. (1) It is feasible to implement flipped classrooms from the perspective of experiential-learning theory. (2) Fully flipped classrooms have practical difficulties. A partially flipped classroom (high-FC or low-FC) can be a feasible gradual strategy. (3) Flipped classrooms and e-learning support each other’s sustainable development. (4) The flipped classroom based on experiential learning theoretical perspective has obtained preliminary verification in the ERP-system course.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning was carried out online. It takes student activeness with the right approach and method to provide maximal learning experiences and learning outcomes. The purpose of this paper is to describe the application of the facilitated e-learning approach combined with the 5E method on student activeness in learning. This paper used the descriptive qualitative research method. Students are imagebearers of God so a teacher should view students as special and valuable. Students have reason and ability so it can be said that they are active individuals. Therefore, a teacher should always encourage their activiteness during the learning process. Implementing the facilitated e-learning approach with the 5E method is the right solution because the students carry out learning activities independently with the teacher in the role of facilitator. This has the potential to encourage student activeness in online learning so that students can get the maximum learning experience and learning outcomes and teachers can provide God-centered learning. In applying these approaches and methods, a teacher needs careful and measured preparation in order to provide the maximum learning experience even though it is carried out online.

BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Selama pandemi covid-19, pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring.
