The need for research using modern methods of physical and chemical analysis in combination with methods for processing the graphical results arises with an increase of developments aimed at changing the structure and properties of hydration-hardening materials. Currently, the method of scanning electron microscopy is widely used for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of materials. Additional information, including fractal analysis of the image, determines the information-entropy levels and the state of the information system in the form of the microstructure based on the generalized structural entropy that increases the volume and quality of analytical information extracted from the obtained images. Images with a magnification of 20,000 times were used to analyze the microstructure of a control cement composite and a carbon black modified composite. The fractal analysis of the images revealed a change in the relative organization of the system, which justifiedthe nature of the change in the physical and technical properties of the modified cement composite relative to the additive-free cement composite from the perspective of self-organization.

The quality of underwater images is an important problem for resource detection. However, the light scattering and plankton in water can impact the quality of underwater images. In this paper, a novel underwater image restoration based on non-convex, non-smooth variation and thermal exchange optimization is proposed. Firstly, the underwater dark channel prior is used to estimate the rough transmission map. Secondly, the rough transmission map is refined by the proposed adaptive non-convex non-smooth variation. Then, Thermal Exchange Optimization is applied to compensate for the red channel of underwater images. Finally, the restored image can be estimated via the image formation model. The results show that the proposed algorithm can output high-quality images, according to qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Business process outsourcing (BPO) is transforming Western companies’ corporate real estate (CRE) requirements. When business processes move to a developing country there are consequences for that country’s CRE practice. This paper considers the effects of western BPO on Indian CRE. Qualitative and quantitative analysis was used to analyze data from a survey of professionals operating in Indian CRE. Location issues, quality of workspace, and the availability of human resources were identified as important in establishing BPO activities in India. Suburban, and campus or built-to-suit facilities, were increasingly preferred locations and styles of workplace that were transforming Indian CRE practice. Also, the effect of western BPO was impacting on the types of CRE services being offered. With the continuing growth in BPO to ‘secondary cities’ the transformational effects on local CRE practice are likely to spread and further transform CRE practice in India.

In this article, the problems of dubbing, especially related to lip synchrony as one of the most challenging aspects of audiovisual translation, are scrutinised. Contrarily to the traditional focus on bilabials and open vowels, the object of this research is lip synchrony of both rounded and protruded vowels and diphthongs since lip rounding is a visibly marked feature, which cannot be neglected especially in close-ups. The study aims at determining the inaccuracies in lip synchrony of the mentioned phonemic group in the dubbed animated feature film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 from English to Lithuanian. Qualitative and quantitative analysis is carried out by employing a comparative method. The research methodology is based on the theoretical insights and assumptions provided by Frederic Chaume (2004, 2006, 2012), Richard Barsam & Dave Monahan (2010), and Indrė Koverienė (2015). The research findings demonstrate the main issues of lip synchrony a translator might face while adapting a piece of audiovisual material for the target language audience. Also, it provides insights into the quality of the overall translation of the chosen film.

The low scientific literacy of Indonesian students indicates the low quality of science/science education. Reality on the ground in the science learning process is that teachers only use textbooks and have not developed inquiry labs-based teaching materials. The research objective is to develop an integrated science teaching material based on inquiry labs that is valid, practical, and effective. The type of research is research and development (r&d). The test was conducted in class VIIB of MTsN 6 Sijunjung. The instruments used are expert validation sheets and student questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the validation of teaching materials have an average value of 89, meaning are very valid. The average practicality test results for teaching materials are 84, meaning are very practical. The results of statistical tests on students' scientific literacy tests were effective in increasing students' scientific literation

Like any other food/feed matrix, regardless of the employed analytical method, wine requires authentication strategies; a suitable qualitative and quantitative analysis represents the fingerprint which defines its identity. Until recently, fingerprinting approaches using liquid chromatography applications have been regarded as an effective tool for the assessment of wines employing polyphenol profiles. These profiles are of considerable importance for grapes and wines as they influence greatly the color, sensory, and nutritional quality of the final product. The authenticity and typicity characters are fundamental characteristics, which may be evaluated by the use of polyphenol fingerprinting techniques. Under these conditions, the evolution of polyphenols during the red wine elaboration and maturation processes shows a high importance at the level of the obtained fingerprints. Moreover, the environment factors (vintage, the area of origin, and variety) and the technological conditions significantly influence wine authenticity through the use of polyphenol profiles. Taking into account the complexity of the matter at hand, this review outlines the latest trends in the polyphenol fingerprinting of red wines in association with the transformations that occur during winemaking and storage.

Coconut Farmers Empowerment Effort (Cocos Nucifera) in the Village of Pesaban,Sub-District of Rendang, Regency of Karangasem. Pesaban Village, Rendang Sub-District of Karangasem Regency has great coconutpotential, but farmers can’t utilize the condition properly. The purpose of this researchis to investigate: (1) coconut farming potential, (2) aspect and effort of empowering thecoconut farmers. The research uses qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Theresults showed that the potential of natural resources of coconut farming, humanresources, and financial resources are good. Ownership of assets is good and belongs tothe farmers themselves, relationships between individuals and groups are wellestablished, coconut farmers have organizations to cooperate, and the partnershipsynergy of coconut farmers with the local and outside traders. Access to information isvery less, the participation of the group has been well built, coconut farmers have asense of responsibility in maintaining the good quality of the product, group forumshave not fully be a problem-solving.

This study investigates whether it is possible to translate Islamic Arabic poetry, as a universal literary religious genre, into English to a high level of quality. A global-local translation framework (Halimah, 2020) is applied to the translation of Imam Ashshafi’ee’s[i] poem “الرضا بقضاء الله”/ “Accepting Fate with Pleasure” into English, where a methodological collaboration between a bilingual translator and an English poet manifests a two-stance methodological framework. The results, along with the qualitative and quantitative analysis of poetic extracts used in this paper, indicate that this framework has resulted in improving the quality of Islamic Arabic poetry translation. The translated materials proved to be ‘novel and appropriate’, achieving a very high 90% of approximation of the original text against ACNCS criteria. This framework can also be applied by translators of other literary and non-literary texts to bring more structure and clarity to the discipline of translation.[i]Muhammad bin Idrees Ashshafi’ee (DoB:150H/767A.D died in 204H/820A.D.) The aim of this study is to evaluate the degradation of the accuracy and quality of the images in relation to the TIFF format and the different compression level of the JPEG format compared to the raw images acquired by UAV platform. Experiments were carried out using DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Hasselblad L1D-20c camera on three test sites. Post-processing of images was performed using software based on structure from motion and multi-view stereo approaches. The results show a slight influence of image format and compression levels in flat or slightly flat surfaces; in the case of a complex 3D model, instead, the choice of a format became important. Across all tests, processing times were found to also play a key role, especially in point cloud generation. The qualitative and quantitative analysis, carried out on the different orthophotos, allowed to highlight a modest impact in the use of the TIFF format and a strong influence as the JPEG compression level increases.
