Engaging each student in learning comprises a continuous challenge and concern for the contemporary teacher. Educational research confirms the alarming increase of the disengaged students, relating student disaffection to adverse effects on students’ academic development. In the present research through one-on-one, semi-structured interviews, we investigate 80 Greek in-service kindergarten teachers’ opinions with regards to the significance of engaging the disengaged students in learning activities in preschool environments. The interviews based on Creswell’s (2009) interview model, incorporate open-ended and close-ended questions that offer a well-rounded view of the subject. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis of teachers’ opinions show that engaging each disengaged preschooler has multiple benefits on students’ academic development, class climate, and cohesion, and teacher’s self-efficacy, as well. Specifically, teachers’ engaging actions offer students the opportunity to develop their abilities, self-efficacy, and sense of belonging. The interviewees also recognise that increased student engagement levels decisively affect teachers—students’ interactions, offering at the same time clear feedback to the teacher.

This study aims to develop additional teaching materials in the form of e-Modul Bryophyta dengan Kajian Islam, as well as to determine the quality of the products developed based on the assessment of several validations, teachers, and students as respondents. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. Descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the research obtained indicate that the Bryophyta e-Module with Islamic Studies developed as a whole has the quality Very Fit for use in teaching and learning activities. With the percentage results from material experts of 89.2% with Very Feasible criteria, from media experts of 71.6% with Eligible criteria, from Islamic Religion experts of 82.6% with Very Appropriate criteria and an assessment of the teacher of 82.5% with criteria Very Eligible for use in teaching and learning activities. Meanwhile, the response of students obtained the overall percentage of small and large group tests of 85.2% with very attractive criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that e-Modul Bryophyta dengan Kajian Islam, which was developed with the Borg & Gall model, is feasible and very attractive to be used as teaching material for students in class X MIA in Ma, especially in Bryophyta lessons.

Result kindergarten teacher supervision is found in teaching teachers have to plan daily activities, so that learning activities are not effective. For that, it is necessary guidance to teachers in order to increase their competence in planning daily activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase kindergarten teacher competence in planning daily activities through ongoing guidance in the TK Dharma Wanita District of Tembarak 2015.Who is the subject of this research is all kindergarten teachers in the district Tembarak Dharma Wanita, amounting to 18 teachers. With schools, action research is expected 75% of kindergarten teachers are able to plan daily activities properly. Acts done in two cycles each cycle there are three meetings which consist of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Results of the action from the first cycle to the second cycle increased aspects of kindergarten teacher competence in planning daily activities properly in TK Dharma Wanita District if the year 2015 in the first cycle there are 6 teachers or 33% increase to 15 teachers or 83%. While activity has increased from 65% in the first cycle to 79% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that through continuous guidance can improve the competence of kindergarten teachers in planning daily activities in TK Dharma WanitaTembarak District of Waterford District 2015.

The purpose of this study is known the picture of user satisfaction (user institution) for the quality of Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu graduates. This is the kind exploratory and descritive research  that are qualitative and quantitative. Unit analysis of research data is user institution where Poltekkes kemenkes Bengkulu graduates working. While the subject of study is the leadher-ship of the institution / head room in which graduate work and their partner work at the institute. Subjects in this study set by purposive sampling technique followed by a snow ball sampling tech-nique. Data was collected through structured interviews and filling out the questionnaire guidelines. Interviews were conducted to the leadership of institutions and co-workers. Data from Pol-tekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu graduates conducted using a questionnaire. The analysis showed that more than half (63.6%), users opinion said that the  quality of graduates were good, the majority (72.7%) chairman and co-workers are satisfied with the performance of Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu graduates, and 23.4% of graduates find a job < 3 months after graduation and 23.4% of graduates find job after waiting 3-6 months. Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu  should prepare the studends to have a competitive advantage began the process of selection and education to produce qualifiedgraduates.

This study aims to determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes and learning activities of students by applying the PAIKEM Model assisted by Media PowerPoint. The method used in this study was to use the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The subjects in this study amounted to 38 students, for data collection techniques used were observation and tests. This study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study show that the activity is good and learning outcomes increase. This can be seen in the first cycle of student learning activities obtained 3.19 with good categories while in the second cycle obtained 3.78 with good categories. Increased learning outcomes in the first cycle of the average value of students are 70 with classical completeness 60.52% and in the second cycle, the average value of students is 84 with classical completeness to 89.47%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes using the PAIKEM model assisted by Media PowerPoint.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the improvement of student activities and learning outcomes with the implementation of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).  This research uses Class Action Research. As the subject in this study were grade VII MTs students as many as 23 people. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative to measure the increase in student activity and learning outcomes. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the application of RME can improve student activities and learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in learning activities in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of 55% with a fairly good category, increased by an average percentage of 85% fall into the category of excellent in cycle II. While student learning activities have increased from cycle I with an average percentage of 55% fall into the category quite well to 85% with a very good category in the second cycle. Classical student completeness also increased in cycle I was 56.52% and in cycle II by 86.95%. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).  Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sebagai subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs sebanyak 23 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengukur peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan RME dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 55% dengan kategori cukup baik, mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 85% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik pada siklus II. Sedangkan aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 55% masuk dalam kategori cukup baik menjadi 85% dengan kategori sangat baik pada siklus II. Ketuntasan klasikal siswa juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I adalah 56,52% dan pada siklus II sebesar 86.95%.

Through the concept of implicit cognitive vulnerability, the learner develops a “comfortableness” within the instructional environment that engages the learner in a creative understanding of the subject matter that reflects a cognitively vulnerable sense of understanding that engages the learner in new and different ways with the subject matter. This cognitive vulnerability is not only creative in nature, but the “comfortableness” to safely “think outside the box” in new and different ways more fully supports the learner's understanding of the subject matter. The importance revolving around a learner's “comfortableness” within an instructional environment is a level of engagement within the learning community that impacts not only the sense of community engagement towards motivational and self-efficacy efforts, but more importantly the learner's sense of belonging and “comfortableness” within a learning community.

ABSTRACT In this study, it discussed the development of youth in the Indonesian Alumni Paskibraka organization in planting the values   of national defense and its implications for personal resilience. This research was conducted at the Purna Paskibraka Indonesia (PPI) organization in Bandung Regency. The purpose of this study were  to knew and analyzed the formation of youth in the Full Paskibraka Indonesia in Bandung Regency in the cultivation of values   of national defense during the education and training process, and to knew and analyzed the implications of internalizing the defense of the Bandung Regency in terms of personal resilience the paskibraka and alumni. This research used descriptive qualitative research method, where the subject of the researchwas Purna Paskibraka Indonesia, Bandung Regency and the object of research was PPI youth in activities to maintained the values   of state defense and its implications for personal resilience. Methods of data collection used the structured interviews, observation, literature studies, documentation studies, and online page search. Data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study showed that understanding the concept of state defense was a matter that must be understood and carried out by every citizen according to the guidance of the Act. PPI as a youth organization consisting of selected elements of civil society and special education, must took responsibility for the country’s defense efforts in accordance with the capacity of their organization.Purna Paskibraka Indonesia (PPI) participating in the state defense activities in Bandung Regency was carried out through four models of activities which also produced pillars of commitment. From this participation, it provided an understanding of the values   of the nation and state, which then gave awareness to the obligation to defended the country, and also stated its commitment to defended the country. The youth who became the Alumni Paskibraka Indonesia of Bandung Regency showed a strong sense of belonging to the nation and state of Indonesia, showing the pride of identity as an Indonesian nation, having good personal character and showing nationalism at a real level. Therefore, the internalization of state defense must be improved, so that personal resilience could be realized and helped to createdthe national resilience in Indonesia.ABSTRAK Pada penelitian ini membahas tentang pembinaan pemuda dalam organisasi Purna Paskibraka Indonesia dalam penanaman nilai-nilai bela negara dan implikasinya terhadap ketahanan pribadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada organisasi Purna Paskibraka Indonesia Kabupaten Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pembinaan pemuda Purna Paskibraka Indonesia Kabupaten Bandung dalam penanaman nilai-nilai bela negara selama mengikuti proses pendidikan dan latihan, danuntuk mengetahui dan menganalisis implikasi internalisasibela negara Purna Paskibraka Indonesia Kabupaten Bandung terhadap ketahanan pribadi para paskibraka dan alumninya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dimana subjek penelitian adalah Purna Paskibraka Indonesia Kabupaten Bandung dan objek penelitian adalah pemuda PPI dalam kegiatan untuk penanaman nilai-nilai bela negara dan implikasinya terhadap ketahanan pribadi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara secara terstruktur, observasi, studi pustaka, studi dokumentasi, dan penelusuran laman online. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep bela negara menjadi suatu hal yang harus dipahami dan dilakukan oleh setiap warga negara sesuai tuntunan Undang-Undang. PPI selaku organisasi kepemudaaan yang terdiri atas unsur masyarakat sipil yang terpilih dan telah menempuh pendidikan secara khusus, harus turut bertanggung jawab atas usaha-usaha pembelaan negara sesuai kapasitas kemampuan organisasinya. Purna Paskibraka Indonesia berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan bela negara di Kabupaten Bandung  dilakukan melalui empat model kegiatan yang juga menghasilkan pilar-pilar komitmen. Dari partisipasi tersebut memberikan pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai berbangsa dan bernegara yang kemudian memberikan kesadaran terhadap kewajiban bela negara, serta menyatakan komitmennya terhadap bela negara. Pemuda yang menjadi Purna Paskibraka Indonesia Kabupaten Bandung menunjukkan adanya rasa memiliki yang kuat terhadap bangsa dan negara Indonesia, menunjukkan adanya kebanggaan akan jatidiri sebagai bangsa Indonesia, memiliki karakter pribadi yang baik dan menunjukkan nasionalisme dalam tataran nyata. Oleh karena itu internalisasi bela negara harus terus ditingkatkan, sehingga ketahanan pribadidapat terwujud dan membantu terciptanya ketahanan nasional di Indonesia.

As pousadas são meios de hospedagem de pequeno porte, com um atendimento mais personalizado, e muitas vezes realizado diretamente pelos seus proprietários. Porém, independentemente do tamanho e da capacidade de um meio de hospedagem, ele pode investir em uma oferta de lazer, da mais simples, com algumas atividades, até a mais completa, com estrutura de equipamentos e serviços que buscam atender as expectativas de lazer dos hóspedes, contribuindo com isso para uma valoração de mercado. Esta pesquisa é um estudo de caso, com dados coletados em pesquisa bibliográfica, em artigos publicados sobre o tema, e entrevistas estruturadas, que através de dois métodos, quali-quantitativos, de coleta e análise de dados, teve como objetivo analisar a oferta de lazer das pousadas da Rota do Lambari, em Porto União, SC, os serviços e os equipamentos que estão sendo oferecidos aos hóspedes. Como resultado se observou uma oferta de lazer grande e variada na maioria delas, e uma oferta não focada somente no pescador, mas que atende a toda a família e outros hóspedes que não exercem a pesca. O lazer em pousadas de pesca: um estudo de caso na Rota do Lambari, Porto União (SC) ABSTRACT The lodges are small lodging facilities, with a more personalized service, and often performed directly by its owners. However, regardless of the size and capacity of a host resource, it can invest in a range of leisure, the simplest, with some activities to the fullest, with equipment structure and services that aim to meet the leisure expectations guests, a contributing factor to a market valuation. This research is a case study, with data collected in literature, in articles published on the subject, and structured interviews, which through two methods, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, aimed to analyze the supply of leisure, hotels and Rota do Lambari, in the city of Porto União, SC, services and equipment that are being offered to guests. As a result it was observed offered a large and varied leisure in most of them, and not focused only offer the fisherman, but that caters to the whole family and other guests not engaged in fishing. This research is motivated by the low interest of students to social science education in class VII-J SMPN 3 Lembang. The purpose of this study is to describe the plan, implementation,result, difficulties, and solutions in the implementation of games method to improve students’ interest in learning. This esearch uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. This research also uses classroom action research with Kemmis and Taggart model by using games as a learning method. The subject for this research is the students of class VII-J in  SMPN 3 Lembang Bandung. The planning of this research includes preparing lesson plan, preparing games that will be used in each cycle, as well as preparing the research instruments according to the needs of the researcher. This research was conducted in four cycles and the result showed that there was an improvement of students’ interest in learning social science education from the first cycle until the fourth cycle. In the first cycle, to improve students’ interest in earning social science education, the researcher used Bottle Throwing Game and the result showed that the students got low score. In the second cycle, the reesearcher used Ular Naga Game and the result was a little bit better than the first cycle. In the third cycle, Hungry Bunny Game was used and the students got a good score in this cycle. For the last cycle, the researcher used Pokemon Go Game and the result showed that the students got a very good score in the last cycle. The evidence for students’ improvement in learning is marked by the number of students who feel happy when learning social science education, show their enthusiastic, and active in social science education class. The researcher found some difficulties in implementing this research, there are difficult to determine the appropriate game for the students, difficult in selecting material, and difficult in directing the students when playing the games. Those difficulties can be overcome by making a good lesso plan, reading a lot of teaching materials, and facilitate students to discuss with the group, and  also make some rules when the students will do the games.
