This study compares the Empathy Quotient (EQ) and Systemizing Quotient (SQ) scores of elementary school children with and without ADHD. The study also examined their brain types and, because sex plays a big role in empathy and systemizing ability, compared the results of the boys and girls. This cross-sectional study involved 122 participants, including 61 parents of children with ADHD and 61 parents of children without ADHD. The EQ, SQ and brain types were obtained using the Empathy and Systemizing Quotient in children (EQ-/SQ-C), validated in the Indonesian language. Data was analyzed using the SPSS program version 20 for Windows, with a p-value < 0.05 for statistical significance. There was a significant difference in EQ between children with and without ADHD, the score being lower in children with ADHD. There was also a significant difference in SQ among girls with and without ADHD, but not in boys. The brain types in both groups were not significantly different. The results indicate that children with ADHD have a lower ability to empathize compared to children without ADHD. Systemizing abilities were significantly lower in girls with ADHD than in girls without. Therefore, an intervention program focusing on improving empathy and systemizing ability needs to be developed in the community.

ABSTRACT: RELATIONSHIP WITH ANEMIA IN ELEMENTARY CHILDREN IN TANJUNG SENANG REGENCY, BANDAR LAMPUNG Background: Anemia is a condition in which the number of red blood cells or the hemoglobin concentration in them is less than normal. WHO in the World Wide Prevalence of Anemia reports that the total population of the world who suffer from anemia is 1.62 billion people with a prevalence in primary school children (25.4%) and 305 million school children worldwide suffer from anemia. In general, the cause of anemia is nutritional deficiencies, especially iron deficiency and parasitic infections such as worms. Worms is an infectious disease caused by parasites in the form of worms. Objective: Knowing the Relation between Worms and Anemia in Elementary School Children in In Tanjung Senang District Bandar Lampung in 2020. Method: This type of research is quantitative research and analytical observational research methods with a cross sectional approach with the Chi Square test. Sampling was done using Quota Sampling. The sample in this study were 63 people. Results: The results of the Chi Square test showed p-value = 0.000, which is less than the significance value of 5% (0.05), this shows that there is a significant relationship between worms and anemia in elementary school children in Tanjung Senang, Bandar Lampung, in 2020. Kecacingan merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh parasit berupa cacing.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Kecacingan Dengan Kejadian Anemia Pada Anak Sekolah Dasar di Di Kecamatan Tanjung Senang Bandar Lampung Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan metode penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan uji Chi Square. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Quota Sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 63 orang.Hasil: Hasil uji Chi Square  menunjukkan p-value = 0.000 dimana kurang dari nilai kemaknaan yaitu 5% (0.05), hal tersebut menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecacingan dengan kejadian anemia pada anak Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Tanjung Senang Bandar Lampung Tahun 2020.Kesimpulan: Kesimpulannya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecacingan dengan kejadian anemia pada anak Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Tanjung Senang Bandar Lampung Tahun 2020. Kata Kunci  Kecacingan, Kejadian Anemia

Sufficient consumption of vegetables and fruits is one balanced nutritional indicator. Indonesian people (60.44%) consume fewer vegetables and fruits. The fiber content in vegetables and fruit is very useful for the body. Nutrition education in early childhood aims to shape nutritional behavior to be better. Efforts to improve nutrition knowledge can be done with appropriate, interesting, and easily understood media for children including storytelling methods. Therefore, it is necessary to research nutrition education through a storytelling method to increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits for elementary school children. This study aims to determine the effect of nutrition education through storytelling methods to increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits for elementary school children. This research is a pre-experiment. one group pre-post test. Data analysis in this study using the Paired Sample T-test. The subjects of this study were the elementary school children of 21 North Pontianak totaling 35 samples. The technique of collecting questionnaire data was chosen by direct interview, to see the difference in the consumption of vegetables and fruits. Based on the results of statistical tests of fruit intake scores before and after the intervention of 35 respondents obtained p-value 0,000 <0,05 this indicates that there is a significant difference between the fruit intake score before and after. The statistical test results of vegetable intake scores before and after the intervention were obtained p-value 0,000 <0,05, indicating that there were significant differences in vegetable intake scores in school children.

This study aims to create a product in the form of a game model based on environmental insights for elementary school children. This research is a research development using research and development from Borg and Gall which consists of ten steps. In this study, researchers only used eight steps because after conducting a small group trial and product evaluation it was declared to be feasible for a primary trial or field trial by experts. This study involved 80 subjects aged 6-12 years. Data collected through observation, interviews, and tests.The significant value of the difference in the results of t-count = 28,971, and p-value = 0.00 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference in understanding of environmental insights before and after being treated in the form of a game model based on environmental insights. It was concluded that the game model developed was effective in increasing understanding of environmental knowledge for children aged 6-12 years.

Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran shooting bola basket untuk anak Sekolah Dasar (SD) usia 9-12 tahun, guna menghasilkan suatu produk model pembelajaran shooting bola basket yang efisien dan efektif untuk meningkatkan shooting bola basket bagi anak Sekolah Dasar (SD) usia 9-12 tahun. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan Research and Development dari Borg and Gall. Untuk mengetahui efektifitas produk, dilakukan proses implementasi dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian pra-eksperimen berbentuk “one group pretest-posttest design”. Subjek Penelitian adalah anak Sekolah Dasar Negeri Duren Sawit 10 usia 9-12 tahun di Kota Jakarta. Hasil uji efektivitas produk dilakukan kepada 10 anak/subjek. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada masa pandemik covid-19 tahun 2020. Model pembelajaran ini secara keseluruhan dinyatakan layak dan efektif dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan shooting bola basket untuk anak sekolah dasar usia 9-12 tahun. Instrument tes yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan dan ketepatan shooting bola basket. Model pembelajaran shooting bola basket untuk anak sekolah dasar usia 9-12 tahun telah dinyatakan valid baik model maupun instrument tes oleh dua ahli bola basket dan ahli belajar motorik. Analisis data menggunakan rumus uji-T. Data hasil pretest dan posttest keterampilan shooting dan ketepatan shooting bola basket menggunakan uji lilifors pada taraf signifikansi=0,05. Nilai rata-rata sebelum diberikan perlakuan adalah 173.10 dan setelah diberikan adalah 259.20 artinya bahwa nilai rata-rata shooting bola basket adanya peningkatan. Dalam uji signifikansi perbedaan dengan SPSS 26 di dapat hasil T-hitung=13.249, df=9 dan p-value=0.00 < 0.05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pembelajaran shooting bola basket untuk anak sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah adanya perlakuan model pembelajaran shooting bola basket, dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran shooting bola basket untuk anak sekolah dasar usia 9-12 tahun yang dikembangkan efektif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan shooting bola basket untuk anak sekolah dasar usia 9-12 tahun. This research is a development research using Research and Development from Borg and Gall. To determine the effectiveness of the product, an implementation process was carried out using a pre-experimental research design in the form of "one group pretest-posttest design". The research subjects were 10 students of Duren Sawit Public Elementary School aged 9-12 years in Jakarta. The results of the product effectiveness test were carried out on 10 children / subjects. This research was conducted during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. This learning model as a whole was declared feasible and effective in developing and improving basketball shooting for elementary school children aged 9-12 years. The test instrument used was a test of basketball shooting skills and accuracy. Basketball shooting learning model for elementary school children aged 9-12 years has been declared valid both model and test instrument by two basketball experts and motor learning experts. Data analysis used the T-test formula. The data from the pretest and posttest shooting skills and the accuracy of shooting basketball used the Lilifors test at a significance level of = 0.05. The average score before treatment was 173.10 and after it was given it was 259.20, meaning that the average basketball shooting score was increasing. In the significance test of the difference with SPSS 26, the results of T-count = 13,249, df = 9 and p-value = 0.00 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in learning basketball shooting for elementary school children before and after the treatment of shooting basketball learning models, it can be said that the learning model for shooting basketball for elementary school children aged 9-12 years which is developed can effectively improve basketball shooting skills for elementary school children aged 9-12 years. Abstract: Child abuse is all forms of violence and neglect that occurred against children under the age of 18 years old. One of the psychological impact of violence is depression. Depression is a mood disorder that can happen to anyone, including a child. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship of violence with depression in elementary school children in the district Malalayang city of Manado. Design of the study is quantitative analytical research with cross sectional approach. Samples were 4th, 5th, and 6th grade elementary schools students in the district of the city of Manado Malalayang aged 9 to 12 years old. The respondents who followed the study are 316 children consisting of 169 female and 147 male. Screening instrument used for children depression in this study was Children Depression Inventory (CDI). Statistic analysis chi-square test with alternative test fisher. The results showed that of 316 respondents, 315 experience abuse but only 31 respondents become depressed. The result (p value) of the analysis of relationship between violence and depression in children using Fisher test is 1.000 (p> 0.05). Conclusion: Violence is not associated with depression in children, but does not guarantee children who are abused in childhood will not experience depression as they grow up.Keywords: violence, depression, elementary school children, CDI Abstrak: Kekerasan pada anak adalah segala bentuk tindakan kekerasan dan penelantaran yang terjadi terhadap anak di bawah usia 18 tahun. Salah satu dampak psikologis dari kekerasan adalah depresi. Depresi adalah gangguan mood yang dapat terjadi pada siapapun, termasuk seorang anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kekerasan dengan depresi pada anak sekolah dasar di kecamatan Malalayang kota Manado. Desain Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian analitik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas 4, 5, dan 6 sekolah dasar di kecamatan Malalayang kota Manado yang berusia 9 sampai 12 tahun.Responden yang mengikuti penelitian adalah 316 anak yang terdiri dari 169 perempuan dan 147 laki-laki.Intrumen yang digunakan untuk skrining depresi pada anak dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner Children Depression Inventory (CDI).Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah chi-square dengan uji alternatif uji fisher. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 316 responden, 315 yang mengalami kekerasan tetapi hanya 31 responden yang depresi. Hasil analisis hubungan kekerasan dengan depresi pada anak menggunakan uji fisher didapatkan nilai p sebesar 1,000 (p > 0,05). Simpulan: kekerasan tidak berhubungan dengan depresi pada anak, tetapi tidak menjamin anak yang mengalami kekerasan pada masa kecil tidak akan mengalami depresi saat dewasa. <p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p><em><strong>Background</strong>: Elementary school children are in the developmental age, thus need nutritions with good and proper quality and quantity. Nutrient needs can be fulfilled through eating habits. Snacking habit can also contribute to nutritional status in children if the snack consumed has good quality in term of the type</em><br /><em>and quantity.</em></p><p><em><strong>Objectives</strong>: To understand the relationship between snacking habit and diet with nutritional status of elementary school children in SD Sonosewu Bantul Yogyakarta.</em></p><p><em><strong>Methods</strong>: This study was an observational research with cross sectional approach. This study population was all students in SD Sonosewu Bantul Yogyakarta grades III, IV, V, that were 160 respondents. The sample used in this study was 65 people selected by using simple random sampling. The process of</em><br /><em>selecting a random sample was based on the random number table. The research instruments used were questionnaires, form of 24 -hour food recall for 1 day, bathroom scales, and microtoise. The collected data was analyzed by using a statistical test chi-square.</em></p><p><br /><em><strong>Results</strong>: Respondents who had frequent snacking habit with a normal nutritional status was 27 respondents (81%), whereas those who had less frequent snacking habit with wasting nutritional status was 7 respondents (21.9%). Respondents with a good diet (&gt;80% RDA) with wasting nutritional status was 9 </em><em>respondents (75%) and respondents who had bad diet with normal nutritional status was 34 respondents (66%). Chi-Square analysis in the relationship between snacking habit and nutritional status obtained 0.781 p value (p&gt;0.05) which mean that there was no statistically significant of relationship between snacking habits and child’s nutritional status. Whereas Chi-Square analysis of diet and nutritional status showed a significant relationship with 0.008 p value (p&lt;0.05) means that there was a relationship between diet and nutritional status.</em></p><p><em><strong>Conclusions</strong>: There was a relationship between diet and nutritional status of elementary school children, but there was no relationship between snacking habits and nutritional status of them.</em></p><p><strong>KEYWORDS</strong><em>: snacking habit, diet, nutritional status, elementary school children</em></p><p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><em><strong>Latar belakang</strong>: Anak usia sekolah dasar termasuk usia perkembangan sehingga membutuhkan nutrisi dengan kualitas maupun kuantitas yang baik dan benar. Kebutuhan gizi tersebut di antaranya dapat dipenuhi melalui kebiasaan makan. Pola jajan juga dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap status gizi anak apabila jenis jajan yang dikonsumsi berkualitas dari segi jenis dan kandungan gizinya.</em></p><p><em><strong>Tujuan</strong>: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kebiasaan jajan dan pola makan dengan status gizi di SD Sonosewu Bantul Yogyakarta.</em></p><p><em><strong>Metode</strong>: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa dari kelas III, IV, V yang berjumlah 160 siswa di SD Sonosewu Bantul Yogyakarta. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 65 yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Proses memilih sejumlah sampel secara random berdasarkan tabel bilangan random. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner, formulir food recall 24 jam selama 1 hari, timbangan injak, dan microtois. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji statistic chi-square.</em></p><p><em><strong>Hasil</strong>: Responden yang memiliki kebiasaan jajan sering dengan status gizi normal yaitu sebanyak 27 responden (81%), dan yang tidak sering jajan dengan status gizi kurus berjumlah 7 responden (21,9%). Responden dengan pola makan yang baik &gt;80% AKG dengan status gizi kurus sebesar 9 responden (75%) dan responden yang memiliki pola makan tidak baik dengan status gizi normal sebesar 34 responden (66%). Hasil analisis chi-square hubungan kebiasaan jajan dengan status gizi diperoleh p 0,781 (p&gt;0,05) yang berarti bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara kebiasaan jajan dengan status gizi. Overweight is a condition where the body experiences a buildup of fat in the body so that the body weight is outside the ideal limit. This study aims to determine whether the habit of snacking, fast food, physical activity is related to the incidence of overweight in elementary school children at SDN 18 Tumampua 1, Pangkep Regency. This type of research is an observational study using a cross sectional design. The results showed that there was a relationship between eating habits and the incidence of overweight with a p-value of 0.000, there was a relationship between fast food and overweight with a p value of 0.000, there was a relationship between physical activity and the incidence of overweight with a p-value of 0.000. The conclusion is based on the results of the study, namely the existence of snack habits, fast food, physical activity related to the incidence of overweight in elementary school children at SDN 18 Tumampua 1 Kab.Pangkep Abstrak Overweight merupakan kondisi dimana tubuh mengalami penumpukan lemak di dalam tubuh sehingga membuat berat badan berada di luar batas ideal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah kebiasaan jajan, fast food, aktivitas fisik berhubungan dengan kejadian overweight pada anak sekolah dasar di SDN 18 Tumampua 1 Kab.Pangkep. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan kebiasaan jajan dengan kejadian overweight dengan hasil nilai p 0.000, adanya hubungan makanan fast food dengan kejadian overweight dengan hasil nilai p 0.000, adanya hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian overweight dengan hasil nilai p 0.000. Kesimpulan berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu adanya kebiasaan jajan, fast food, aktivitas fisik berhubungan dengan kejadian overweight pada anak sekolah dasar di SDN 18 Tumampua 1 Kab.Pangkep

helminthiasis is a disease caused by a worm or helminth. Worm disease is a neglected infectious diseases / Neglected Infectious Disease (NIDS), which can lead to declining health, nutrition, intelligence and productivity. Factors that could cause the high incidence of worm disease is sanitation, hygiene, education level, socio-economic, knowledge, attitudes, behavior and geographical conditions. This study aimed to determine the relationship Soil transmitted helminth infections with Hb levels in elementary school children in the fishing village town of Bengkulu. This study was a cross sectional analytic. Subjects were four primary school pupils in Desa Nelayan of Bengkulu. Large sample of 185 samples. Sampling with simple random sampling technique. Examination of faeces by direct methods. Analysis of the samples by using the t test. The result showed no significant association with Hb STH infection (p = 0.09), no significant relationship with personal hygiene STH infection (p = 0.89), no significant association with the school environment sanitation STH infections (p = 0.34) and no significant relationship with the environmental sanitation STH infection (p = 0.70) in the elementary school children in Desa Nelayan of Bengkulu. The school have to provide counseling so that maintain the health of the prevention efforts that can reduce STH infections in elementary school children.

Background: This study aims at investigating the seroprevalence of HIV infection among status naive pregnant women and probable vertical transmission in Sokoto, Nigeria.Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study examined 13,026 apparently healthy pregnant women aged between 14 and 45 years and 312 mother-baby pairs in 4 different hospital settings in Sokoto State, North West, Nigeria between March, 2011 and February, 2013. The babies were aged between 8 and 16 months. HIV screening was performed using qualitative rapid tests and ELISA and HIV-DNA polymerase chain reaction (PCR) techniques. Measurement of CD4+ T-lymphocytes was carried out by the BD FACScount System. All seropositive pregnant women were immediately placed on triple antiretroviral therapy (ART) throughout the duration of the pregnancy and beyond.Results: An overall 2.4% prevalence of HIV-1 infection among the pregnant women and 20.5% incident of mother-to-child transmission were found. Of the seropositive pregnant women, 75.0% were full-time house wives, 13.8% and 11.2% were traders and civil servants respectively; of which, 70.2% were within the ages of 14 and 27 years (youthful predominance). Pearson’s χ2analysis did not show any statistically significant difference in the Mean values in the 4 health facilities (χ2 =2.084, df=3, P-value=0.555). Similarly, no significant difference in HIV seropositivity in the demographic data of the pregnant women were observed (P>0.05). Infection was recorded in all age groups but there was no statistical significance between age groups and infection (P = 0.833). Of the 64 seropositive babies, 62 (92.5%) contracted HIV from antiretroviral therapy non-adherence mothers (χ2 =271.457, df=1, P<0.01), OR=1506.6 (95%CI=285.5-7950.4). Conclusion: This study found high prevalence of vertical transmission due to ART non-adherence. Intervention initiatives should, therefore, focus seriously on ART non-adherence. Abstract Motivation A fundamental interest in chronobiology is to compare patterns between groups of rhythmic data. However, many existing methods are ill-equipped to derive statements concerning the statistical significance of differences between rhythms that may be visually apparent. This is attributed to both the form of data used (longitudinal versus cross-sectional) and the limitations of the statistical tests used to draw conclusions. Results To address this problem, we propose that a cosinusoidal curve with a particular parametrization be used to model and compare data of two sets of observations collected over a 24-h period. The novelty of our test is in the parametrization, which allows the explicit estimation of rhythmic parameters [mesor (the rhythm-adjusted mean level of a response variable around which a wave function oscillates), amplitude and phase], and simultaneously testing for statistical significance in all three parameters between two or more groups of datasets. A statistically significant difference between two groups, regarding each of these rhythmic parameters, is indicated by a P-value. The method is evaluated by applying the model to publicly available datasets, and is further exemplified by comparison to the currently recommended method, DODR. The results suggest that the method proposed may be highly sensitive to detect rhythmic differences between groups in phase, amplitude and mesor.
