The role of the industrial sector in total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and resource consumption is well-known, and many industrial activities may have a negative environmental impact. The solution to decreasing the negative effects cannot be effective without the consideration of sustainable development. There are several methods for sustainability evaluation, such as tools based on products, processes, or plants besides supply chain or life cycle analysis, and there are different rating systems suggesting 80, 140, or more indicators for assessment. The critical point is the limits such as required techniques and budget in using all indicators for all factories in the beginning. Moreover, the weight of each indicator might change based on the selected alternative that it is not a fixed value and could change in a new case study. In this regard, to determine the impact and weight of different indicators in sustainable factories, a multi-layer Triangular Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (TFAHP) approach was developed, and the application of the method was described and verified. The defined layers are six; for each layer, the pairwise comparison matrix was developed, and the total aggregated score concerning the sustainability goal for each alternative was calculated that shows the Relative Importance Coefficient (RIC). The method is formulated in a way that allows adding the new indicators in all layers as the verification shows, and thus, there are no limits for using any green rating systems. Therefore, the presented approach by TFAHP would provide an additional tool toward the sustainable development of factories.

Branded apps are not only an important platform for enterprises and customers to have real-time interactions and communicate marketing messages, but also a new business model that encourages value co-creation between the two. In order to explore the impact of branded apps on customers, this study constructs a fuzzy multi-criteria decision making (FMCDM) analysis model, and it uses consistent fuzzy linguistic preference relations (CFLPR) to set up a symmetric pairwise comparison matrix, which greatly reduces the complexity and error rate of calculations. Empirical research findings show that brand experience attributes and the influence of brand experience on customer loyalty and satisfaction can be more accurately measured. As a consequence of this study, we show that, among the brand experience facets of two retail chain branded apps, behavioral experience is the most favored, while affective experience is the least favored. Furthermore, brand attachment and active participation should be strengthened to enhance customer loyalty. Through the analytical model employed in this study, enterprises can regularly monitor changes in the brand experience preferences of branded app users and evaluate app performance to flexibly adjust mobile device-based marketing campaigns and strategies. It can also aid enterprises in using mobile devices effectively to improve customer loyalty and address the issue of diminishing brand loyalty.

Northern Tajikistan creates favorable conditions for growing grapes due to its climate. The choice of method of grape production to ensure a high-quality yield, while reducing the negative effects of such production on the environment, poses a serious challenge to implementation regarding the principles of sustainable production. In addition to the essential techniques associated with grapevine production, such as irrigation, fertilization, and plant protection, a training system plays a significant role. The objective of this research was to evaluate the environmental efficiency of vineyard training systems in northern Tajikistan. The indicators accepted for the evaluation process were the vegetative growth of plants, yield, and environmental pressure of production expressed by greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The single-factor experiment was conducted in Ghafurov District, and the following training systems were used: (A) multi-arm fan; (B) Umbrella Kniffin; (C) one-side multi-arm, paired planting. Growth parameters, yield, yield quality, and GHG emissions were evaluated. The cultivation of grapes in training system “C” resulted in higher values of parameters such as Practical Bud Fertility coefficient and fruiting shoots pcs and higher yields. The training systems were ranked according to GHG emissions per yield unit in the following order, from lower to higher emissions: C < B < A.

The purpose of the paper is an in-depth study of the innovative transformation of agricultural enterprises in the conditions of unpredictability, the need to spread and introduce new technologies that help reduce the effects of any crisis. Methodology. The rationale for choosing the agricultural sector corporation survey is based on the use of market capitalization and share price statistics over the past ten years, which clearly demonstrate the stable, moderate economic development of the corporate system. The study of innovative projects allows to demonstrate the state of the innovation sector within corporations of agriculture and food industry. The results of the paper are to emphasize the importance of maintaining the technologically advanced sector of agriculture, which will reduce the financial, fixed and variable costs of the enterprise. Cooperation between corporations, research institutes and non-profit organizations in the field of innovation will be able to improve the economic development of the host countries and start a new stage in the functioning of TNCs in the field of agro-industrial complex. Although TNCs in the food industry have a low market capitalization compared to the technological sector of the economy, they are the basis of one of the components of sustainable development, namely the environmental component. Limited resources encourage their rational use and careful treatment. Practical implications. Demonstration of successfully implemented innovation projects in the future will stimulate the management staff of any enterprise, regardless of ownership, to the rational use of own resources and sustainable development. The market capitalization of TNCs in the agro-industrial sector proves that obtaining permanent profits can reduce the impact of economic, environmental and social crises. Crisis waves and peaks will be smoothed out. Value/originality. Solving the problem of overcoming the consequences of unpredictability through innovative projects emphasizes the importance of a deeper and more thorough study of vivid and real examples of the introduction of innovative products by well-known transnational corporations. The agro-industrial sector depends on the available technologies, as the preservation of natural resources, public health and food safety are the main areas of existence of this sector of the economy.

Purpose. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the development of the food market in Ukraine and determine its compliance with the goals of sustainable economic development, to formulate the concept of marketing of balanced development in relation to the food market and to identify a set of tasks that need to be addressed within this concept. Methodology / approach. While writing the article we used the following: methods of content analysis – to study scientific approaches to the interpretation of marketing tasks in terms of the concept of «sustainable development»; morphological analysis, generalization and scientific abstraction – to clarify the essence of the definition of «marketing of balanced development» and its conceptual content; economic-statistical and comparative analysis – for research, the dynamics of the food market and the market of organic products in Ukraine, the structure of exports of agricultural products to Ukraine, as well as the impact of the agro-industrial sector on the environment. To visualize the results, we used methods of graphical and tabular representation. The method of SWOT analysis assessed the qualitative characteristics of the state of the market of organic products of Ukraine in the light of opportunities and obstacles to the implementation of the concept of «sustainable development». Abstract-logical method was used to form a complex of marketing of balanced development, conclusions of the article and directions for further research. Results. The article is devoted to the study of the dynamics of the Ukraine food market development as a component of the national economy and food security of the state. It was determined that the areas of agro-food production, food processing and food products trade were showing growth due to increased demand in domestic and foreign markets. However, as a result of technological and resource features, agro-food production has a negative impact on the environment of Ukraine. Trends in the development of organic production as a way to implement the concept of sustainable development in the food sector were studied. The author’s interpretation of the essence of the concept of balanced market development was offered and the complex of tasks of marketing for the enterprises functioning in the food market was defined. Originality / scientific novelty. The article defines the magnitude and extent of the impact of agro-food production on the environment. The essential content of the definition of «marketing of balanced development» in relation to the agro-industrial sector through the prism of the concept of «sustainable development» was clarified. For the first time, a SWOT analysis was used to assess the state of the market of organic products of Ukraine in the light of opportunities and obstacles to the implementation of the concept of «sustainable development», which allowed determining the main directions for improving the marketing set for food market entities. The provision of the concept of sustainable development in the food sector was further developed. Practical value / implications. The main results of the study can be used for (i) structuring tasks of the marketing of balanced development of agribusiness entities; (ii) determining balanced development marketing complex for enterprise, will be relevant for both the organic market and the food market as a whole; (iii) definition of the purposes of balanced development at development of strategy of the enterprises; (iv) development of strategic directions of activity for the enterprises of the organic market on the basis of the conducted SWOT analysis.

Diesel generators are currently used as an off-grid solution for backup power, but this causes CO2 and GHG emissions, noise emissions, and the negative effects of the volatile diesel market influencing operating costs. Green hydrogen production, by means of water electrolysis, has been proposed as a feasible solution to fill the gaps between demand and production, the main handicaps of using exclusively renewable energy in isolated applications. This manuscript presents a business case of an off-grid hydrogen production by electrolysis applied to the electrification of isolated sites. This study is part of the European Ely4off project (n° 700359). Under certain techno-economic hypothesis, four different system configurations supplied exclusively by photovoltaic are compared to find the optimal Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCoE): photovoltaic-batteries, photovoltaic-hydrogen-batteries, photovoltaic-diesel generator, and diesel generator; the influence of the location and the impact of different consumptions profiles is explored. Several simulations developed through specific modeling software are carried out and discussed. The main finding is that diesel-based systems still allow lower costs than any other solution, although hydrogen-based solutions can compete with other technologies under certain conditions.

Transnational power grid interconnection is an important measure to promote the construction of energy Internet. It can meet the global power demand in a clean and green way, promote the UN’s concept of “sustainable energy,” and tackle climate changes. But, transnational power grid projects face many complex and variable risks due to their complex background and lacking experience. According to the characteristics of transnational power grid interconnection projects, a risk assessment index system including 10 indexes such as national relation, public participation, and available transmission capacity is constructed. Then, in order to overcome the shortcomings of traditional risk assessment methods, this paper proposes a risk assessment method combined with risk theory and probabilistic model, which can not only consider the uncertainties but also integrate the probability of accidents with consequences. Therefore, it can effectively assess the transnational power grid interconnection projects under diversified risks. In addition, in order to further magnify the impact of higher risks on such projects, a method combining traditional weighting method with the variable weight theory is proposed. The study in this paper provides certain guidance and decision-making support for different participants such as the government power sector, construction enterprises, and investment enterprises when they launch on sustainable development of the transnational project business, which have obvious practical significance.

This paper presents a case study on the impact of the use of natural gas cogeneration plants in industrial facilities from food companies established in the State of São Paulo, aiming at the financial and greenhouse gases emissions (GHG) analysis. It is proposed a comparison between two different energy supply models for two manufacturing plants, the first one based on electricity supply from local grid and steam from natural gas fired steam generators, and a second model that considers the industries energy needs being partially supplied through natural gas cogeneration plants which are installed in each one of the companies. This study indicates the differences of the financial results for supplying electricity and steam in both models proposed, describing the main variations and the reasons for those, besides identifying the main current tariff benefits in the legislation for the different classes of power plants and Energy Market. The summarized greenhouse gases inventory is presented for both industries as well, and a later assessment of environmental impact from the studied cogeneration plants in the overall GHG emissions in the two proposed scenarios is done. Finally, it is presented the relation analysis between electricity and steam supplying costs if compared with the greenhouse gases emissions levels for both proposed scenarios, and how public policies can act in order to guide emissions decreasing, since São Paulo State has promulgated a law in which establishes a major GHG emissions reduction to 2020.

En apariencia, los primeros análisis de la digitalización y la robotización de la economía parecen coincidir en que tendrá efectos negativos para el empleo: en la medida en que ciertas actividades puedan ser sustituidas totalmente por procesos digitales o por sujetos robotizados, se hace prescindible ya la presencia total o parcial de trabajadores en las empresas. Solo indirectamente se hace referencia a la incidencia de esos nuevos procesos en el estatuto jurídico del trabajador, en las relaciones laborales colectivas y en la revisión de los sistemas de protección social.Desde septiembre 2015 se han activado desde las Naciones Unidas los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), que pueden ser las nuevas directrices de inspiración para nuevas herramientas de gestionar el cambio, o para nuevos contenidos de herramientas clásicas. La legislación y la negociación colectiva son destinatarias de algunos mandatos (referidos a regulaciones de salarios y demás condiciones decentes, son los ejemplos más inmediatos), de ahí que sea preciso insertar nuevas vías de reflexión en la docencia del Derecho Social 4.0. Al mismo tiempo, los ODS son susceptibles de actuar como acelerantes del aprendizaje, por lo que de estimulantes tienen en el ámbito material del Trabajo Decente y del Desarrollo Sostenible.The first analysis of digitalisation and the robotization of the economy seem to converge in the idea that Revolution 4.o will have negative effects on employment: if certain activities can be completely replaced by digital processes or by robotic subjects, then it is possible that workers in companies are totally o partially replaced. There are just only indirect references to the impact of these new processes on the legal status of the worker, on collective labor relations and on the revision of social protection systems.Since September 2016 the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) have been activated from the United Nations, which may be new inspiration guidelines for new tools to manage change, or for new contents of classic tools. Legislation and collective bargaining are the recipients of some mandates (referring to salary regulations and other decent conditions, are the most immediate examples) hence it is necessary to insert new ways of rethinking the teaching of Social Law 4.0. At the same time, the SDG are likely to act as accelerators at learning processes, so that they are stimulating frameworks in the material scope of Decent Work and Sustainable Development

Few decades ago, the development of the industrial sector was disconnected from society’s protection. Negative effects awareness emerges from the current industrial processes through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), considering the causal implications to build up a more sustainable society. The aim of this study is to analyze the state of the art in industrial processes management to obtain positive and sustainable effects on society. Thus, a bibliometric analysis of 1911 articles was set up during the 1988–2019 period, bringing up the authors’ productivity indicators in the scientific field, that is, journals, authors, research institutions, and countries. We have identified environmental management; the impact assessments of industrial processes on the environment and its relation with a more sustainable society; as well as the study of the sustainable management of water resources as the related axes in the study of environmental protection with political, economic, and educational approaches. The growing trend of world scientific publications let us observe the relevance of industrial processes management in the implementation of efficient models to achieve sustainable societies. This research contributes to the academic, scientific, and social debate on decision-making both in public and private institutions, and in multidisciplinary groups.

Technology is an important aspect for the success of an industry. Gazal Makmur UKM is an UKM that processes cassava into chips in Gazal Hamlet, Kotaanyar Village, Kotaanyar District, Probolinggo Regency. This study aims to calculate the value of the technology component contribution coefficient (TCC) and determine the priority of technology component development in Gazal Makmur SMEs. The method used in this study is the technometric method, namely the technology assessment method used to evaluate the contribution of technology components and the pairwise comparison matrix approach. The measured technology components include technoware (production equipment), humanware (human resource capabilities), infoware (information tools), and orgaware (organizational tools). The results of this study indicate that the contribution of the Orgaware component is the highest in Gazal Makmur SMEs (0.578), then humanware (0.467), humanware (0.252), and the smallest is technoware (0.0.244). The TCC value for Gazal Makmur SMEs is 0.418. The results of this calculation show that these SMEs have a TCC value below 0.7 and above 0.3, meaning that it can be concluded that these SMEs are classified as having a semi-modern level of technology with a reasonable technology category for the SME scale. Improving the quality of Gazal Makmur cassava chips SMEs starts from the orgaware component then humanware, infoware and finally orgaware.
