The article considers the author’s interpretations regarding the definition of the essence of operational management concept. The purpose of article is to systematize the existing definitions of «operational management» and clarify the essence of this concept. The research methods of comparison, grouping, induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis were used in the research. According to the study results, different opinions of researchers on the relationship between the concepts of operational and production management have been studied and found that these concepts are not interchangeable. Based on the analysis of the author’s interpretations of the essence of operational management, three scientific approaches are identified, which were presented in the scientific developments of a number of researchers, namely: an emphasis on the production systems management, an emphasis on operations management and an emphasis on resource allocation. The relationship between key concepts of operational management such as «operation», «operational strategy», «operating system», «operational function» is established. It was revealed that the operation is the primary indivisible link of the operating system, and the operational function should be considered as a set of operations, the result of which is the manufacture of goods or provision of services, supplied by the enterprise to the external environment. It is determined that operational decisions related to management concern the formation of operational strategy, as well as the development and ensuring the functioning of the operating system. According to the results of definitions systematization and analysis of the basic concepts of operational management, the interpretation of its essence is generalized. It is proposed to consider the operational management as an activity of operations management, which is the basis of the operating system of any enterprise and provides for its provision of the necessary resources and transform them into goods or services to achieve established corporate goals.

The issue of farm animal welfare has become increasingly of essence in many countries these days. Farm animal welfare concerns are expressed about the conditions in which farm animals are kept and management practices, particularly in systems where animals are kept in confinement for most of their lives, feed methods, health care, and expression of normal behaviors. The use of an ethical basis for animal welfare standards requires some generally accepted principles on how animals should be treated and used by humans. Animals have enormous capacity to feel a huge range of emotions, to learn from their experiences, to adapt to challenges, and to suffer when their needs are either ignored or disrespected. It is now time, in the evolution of the relationship between humans and animals, to move forward with this knowledge and take real action to improve the lives of farm animals. The use of behavioral principles should improve efficiency of livestock handling and reduce stress on animals. Changing public opinion about the importance of good animal welfare and applying legislative actions will be important in animal production systems especially in developing countries where the poor animal welfare is immense and production management is below substandards.

This review examines the relationship between a person’s social status and trust. Previous research has yielded differing results. On one hand, studies have repeatedly found positive correlations of different strengths between social status and trust; that is, persons with higher social status trust more than persons with lower social status. On the other hand, empirical evidence has also suggested a negative correlation between social status and trust; that is, persons with lower social status trust more than persons with higher social status. In addition to a systematic analysis of the various theoretical approaches and the respective study results, possible causes for these diverging empirical findings are discussed. With regard to the relationship between socioeconomic status and generalized trust, all studies reviewed show a positive correlation. Contradictory results can be found only in studies that investigated socioeconomic status and trust, measured as behavior. In addition to the different operationalizations of social status and trust, one potential cause for different results may be found in the fact that in experimental settings, the social status of the interaction partner is often known.

The aim of this paper is to present a theoretical approach in order to propose a social responsibility management model for project management. This theoretical support is based on the topics of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Project Management (PM). In recent times, CSR has been widely applied in permanent organizations, but there is insufficient evidence to indicate that CSR has been systematically incorporated into projects, which are temporary organizations, specifically in PM practices. The method employed began by setting the topics that should be consulted. Then, the documentary research was carried out using renowned databases and books in the two topics, based on the definition of keywords in each of them. Thereafter, the results of the research were classified by topic, and, finally, the theoretical framework was drawn up. The result revolves around items such as social responsibility, CSR, and stakeholders, as regards CSR; and revolves around the items of project and PM, as concerns PM. There is also discussion conducted based on the relationship between CSR and PM, according to the background research. The conclusions relate to the different theoretical approaches found for the concepts of CSR, project, and PM, which frame the development of research.

Despite the rapid growth rate, the scientific base and theoretical development of Internet marketing in Ukraine requires scientific justification and additional research. This paper highlights the problems associated with the unclear position among scientists and experts in defining the concept of “Internet marketing” because the concept is quite new and practically unexplored, consists of two words, each of which has its meaningful content. The paper aims, based on the analysis of conceptual theoretical approaches of scientists and marketers, to formulate the conceptual definition of “Internet marketing,” considering modern features of Internet marketing activity. The research considers the basic theoretical and practical definitions of “Internet marketing” in accordance with the conceptual and categorical approaches. According to the supporters of the descriptive approach, the definition of Internet marketing characterizes, as part of e-commerce, the set of Internet marketing tools, while ignoring the relationship with traditional marketing. Supporters of the conservative approach consider Internet marketing as an integral part of traditional marketing and do not pay due attention to the technical capabilities and limitations of the Internet. To form a comprehensive definition of Internet marketing, which would take into account all aspects of Internet marketing, this paper considers the Internet marketing features, according to the “6I” Internet marketing model of McDonald and Wilson, supplemented by characteristics of the modern conditions of the Ukrainian Internet market, like reactivity, dynamic pricing, innovation, complexity of implementation, and others.

The article studies the accounting and analytical capital system, since any economic entity must have a certain capital and clearly understand for what purposes it should be directed. However, a single conceptual framework for the definition of «capital» and its components does not exist today. During the study there have been used such methods as: analysis, synthesis, concretization and abstraction, classification, grouping and others. As a result of the study, there has been clarified the notion of «an accounting and analytical system», studied theoretical approaches to the formation and functioning of the accounting and analytical capital system for agricultural enterprises; there has been determined the concept of the accounting and analytical capital system; there have been studied the main factors of agricultural production that influence the formation of the accounting and analytical capital system; there have been determined the main elements (subsystems) of the accounting and analytical capital system and the relationship of the accounting and analytical system of capital formation with the development of an anti-crisis program for agricultural enterprises, there have been clarified the stages in the implementation of an anti-crisis program and the scheme of the accounting and analytical capital system for agricultural enterprises.

Operations management is an area of management concerned with overseeing, designing, and controlling the process of production and redesigning business operations in the production of goods or services. It involves the responsibility of ensuring that business operations are efficient in terms of using as few resources as needed, and effective in terms of meeting customer requirements. It is concerned with managing the process that converts inputs (in the forms of raw materials, labor, and energy) into outputs (in the form of goods and/or services). The relationship of operations management to senior management in commercial contexts can be compared to the relationship of line producers to highest-level of production process. Management, including operations management, is like engineering in that it blends art with applied science.Operation management (control) of the productive process consists of: operational planning, delivery control, process monitoring and operational registration. In operating system management objectives define the required results (Wz) the production process, given the operational system plans. As which he defines not only objective, but also the development of the manufacturing process to observe the given goals (structure, tasks, and sequence operating plan). Operational management is a multi- level control system,The process of producing new energetic drink L-Carnitine, “Gora” , drinking water in various volumes, juices various volumes and other products.

Thoroughbred production systems are concentrated in the Waikato region on free-draining, high fertility soils utilising perennial pastures based on tyegrass/white clover. The major emphasis is on the production of thoroughbred yearling stock for sale in January, and the mating of breeding stock, from September through until December. As with other pastoral industries in the region, successful pasture management entails matching pasture production with animal requirements. On thoroughbred stud farms, a mixture of different classes of horses and co-grazers. principally cattle, make up the animal requirements. This paper examines the relationship between pasture production and animal requirement on a large-scale thoroughbred stud operation. Data from a typical stud farm near Matamata were used to assess total animal requirements. Pasture production was determined from long-term, local mowing trials. Pastures failed to meet animal requirements on this stud from April through to August, while a surplus of pasture growth occurred from September through until March. Pasture utilisation over the main pasture growing period was estimated to be low. Alternative management options are proposed and discussed. Keywords: thoroughbreds, pasture production, management systems, perennial pastures
