One of the factors that influence Kadarzi's achievement is the knowledge and attitudes of the toddler's mother. This study aims to determine the effect of counseling using backsheet media on the knowledge and attitudes of toddlers' mothers about Kadarzi in the Cipeundeuy Health Center District of West Bandung Regency. The research design used was quasi-experimental with a pre-post test control group design model with a total sample of 28 people each for the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group was given an intervention in the form of counseling using flipchart media, while the control group was given an intervention in the form of counseling using leaflet media. The results obtained from the Wilcoxon test in the experimental group and the t-dependent test in the control group were changes in the increase in knowledge and attitude scores in the experimental group and the control group after intervention (p <0.005). The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed no significant difference between knowledge and attitude scores in the experimental group and the control group (p> 0.005). It is better to do further research related to Kadarzi's behavior so that the application of the Kadarzi indicator can be monitored so that it can describe the results of attitudinal changes, and to increase Kadarzi's knowledge and attitudes to toddler mothers.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the smart egg puzzle game on the social behavior of early childhood. This research was conducted in TK intan Berlian Lamongan with a total sample of 35 children. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research design in this study uses a quasi-experimental research design, where this design has a control group but does not fully function to control external variables that affect the implementation of the experiment. In this study, a nonequivalent control group design was used, where the experimental group and the control group were not chosen randomly. The indicators of this research are being cooperative, expressing emotions according to existing conditions and sharing with others. The results showed that the smart egg puzzle game had a significant effect on understanding the concept of geometry and social behavior in children aged 5-6 years at Intan Berlian Kindergarten. The t-test proves that the value of sig. Levene's Test for Equality of Variances is 0.221, greater than 0.05, it means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group

Dynamic assessment has been widely used in educational literature over the past two decades. The present study aimed at investigating the effect of using dynamic assessment on teaching the rhythm of English to Iranian EFL learners and scrutinizing their attitudes towards it. The participants of the study were 30 Iranian EFL leaners at the intermediate level of proficiency, who were conveniently selected from a foreign language institute in Isfahan, Iran. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the participants were divided into two homogenous groups, including the experimental group and control group. In this quasi-experimental, pretest-posttest-control-group-design research study, the control group followed traditional method of learning pronunciation and rhythm, while dynamic assessment approach was used to teach the same materials to the experimental group. In contrast to the control group, the experimental group took an active role in the classroom by having more interaction and using the ongoing hints and prompts provided by the teacher. The result of the posttest unfolded that there was a significant difference between the performances of the two groups, and that the experimental group participants managed to outperform the control group members on the pronunciation posttest. Moreover, based on the attitude questionnaire, EFL learners had grown a positive attitude towards the use of dynamic assessment to learn rhythm. The results of this study demonstrated that through the implementation of DA, the proper form of mediation could be provided to the learners regarding their ZPD.

<p class="Abstract">Drawing – based modeling as learning approach, it allows students to create models based on drawing which help them to run a simulation. Students can use drawing–based modeling to learn a pair of interacting population known as predato–prey system while they usually conducted practicum using diagram of organisms. This study was to explore students’ argumentation and students’ understanding on the concept of the ecosystem. The study was conducted quasi – experimental using the matching – only post-test – only control group design. The participants consist of 60 grade 10 senior high school students in Subang, West Java. They are placed into two groups, 30 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. Data was collected through argumentation test and selected response test for assessing students’ understanding. Students’ argumentation were analyzed using Toulmin’s argumentation pattern and statistical analysis. The result showed there is no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group for students’ argumentation. Most of the students are predominantly at level 2. But the coherency of arguments of the experimental group is more coherent than the control group. It means that the students in experimental group can make logical claim and supported by the correct and relevant grounds (data, warrant, and backing). The result of students’ understanding showed there is a significant mean score between the experimental group and the control group whether 72.33 for the experimental group and 62.13 for the control group</p>

The objectives of this study were to find out whether or not there was any significant difference in reading comprehension achievement between the students who were taught by using guided discovery and those who were taught by using conventional strategy to the eleventh grade students of MAN Arahan. This research was conducted through quasi-experimental method and used matching only pre-test post-test control group design. The population was 140 students of the eleventh grade of MAN Arahan in the academic year 2012/2013. Seventy students were chosen as the sample by using convenience sampling technique. The sample were assigned into two groups; the experimental group and the control group. Each group consisted of thirty five students. The data were obtained by reading comprehension test. A test was given both to the experimental group and control group before and after the treatment. The result of the test was analyzed by using matched t-test. The result of the study showed that there was any significant difference between eleventh grade students of MAN Arahan who were taught by using guided discovery and those who were taught by conventional strategy. The t-obtained was 4.52 at the significant level 0.05 in two tailed testing and df=21, the critical value of t-table is 2.080. Since the value of t-obtained was higher than t-table, then the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. It can be stated that guided discovery is effective in teaching reading comprehension, and can be used as the alternative technique for teaching reading comprehension to the eleventh grade students of MAN Arahan.
