Today the crisis of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic represents a threat worldwide because it is a leading cause of human morbidity and mortality. Besides, it possesses a destroying impact on countries’ economies. Therefore, there is an urgent need for hard research work and global collaboration to find a potential therapy. In this review, structural genomic variations in COVID 19 and further therapeutic options of Coronaviridae family or COVID 19 are expressed. Lectins are natural proteins, which can exist in algae, higher plants, banana, actinomycetes, fungi, and archaea, and they have antiviral properties. Griffithsin lectin, isolated from red algae, has noteworthy efficacy against lethal SARS-CoV infection, human coronaviruses, and other animal coronaviruses. Furthermore, all mannose-specific plant lectins have anti-coronaviruses properties except for garlic lectins. However, lectins from mushrooms can act as immunomodulators by activating T-lymphocyte or stimulating dendrites or cytokines. The lectin may hinder glucans on viral spike protein and prevent entry and the virus's release. Lectin's anti-coronavirus activities include a glimmer of hope to tackle the global COVID 19 crisis and inspire more scientific work on carbohydrate-binding agents against SARS-CoV-2.

The article presents the experimental data on the assessment of economically useful traits of eleven new parthenocarpic heterotic cucumber hybrids under the conditions of the spring-summer turnover of the Kirov region. The problem of cultivation of thermophilic crops, which arises in the northern regions of the country, is one of the stages of breeding research. The cultivation of cucumber in the Kirov region is aggravated by unfavorable climatic conditions of the second light zone (short duration of the growing season, low positive temperatures, frosts in the third decade of July and in the first decade of August). The purpose of the scientific work is to evaluate and identify promising parthenocarpic heterotic hybrids of cucumber for growing in unheated greenhouses in the spring-summer turnover of the second light zone. The research was carried out in the laboratory of northern vegetable growing of the Kirov region at the All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Growing - a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution Federal Scientific Vegetable Centre in the conditions of polycarbonate unheated ground greenhouses during 2018-2019. As a result of phenological observations and assessment of biometric indicators, the early maturity, early maturity and marketability of the tested parthenocarpic heterotic cucumber hybrids of the selection of Agroholding Poisk and ARRIVG – a branch of the Federal Scientific Vegetable Centre were determined: F1 Avoska, F1 Atos, F1 Buket dlya mamy, F1 Multifrut, F1 Novator, F1 Piligrim, F1Sprinter, F1 Revansh, F1 Tonus, F1 Express in comparison with the zoned hybrid of cucumber F1 Carolina. A strong negative influence of climatic conditions of the second light zone on the duration of the seedling-fruiting period was determined, which on average over the years of research, depending on the hybrid, varied from 47 to 55 days. It has been established that to obtain early production of cucumber in polycarbonate unheated ground greenhouses of the Kirov region, heterotic parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1 Sprinter (3.6 kg/m2), F1 Avoska (2.1 kg/m2) and F1 Atos (2.5 kg/m2). Parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1 Sprinter and F1 Atos were noted, which have the highest yield of marketable products, 95.7 and 94.0%, respectively. The most productive parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid F1Novator (16.1 kg/m2) has been identified. As a result of the research work, it was recommended to grow parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1Novator, F1 Sprinter, F1 Atos and F1 Avoska under conditions of unheated greenhouses of spring-summer turnover of the Kirov region.

: With the emergence of the novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), the whole world is suffering from atypical pneumonia, which resulted in more than 559,047 deaths worldwide. In this time of crisis and urgency, the only hope comes from new candidate vaccines and potential antivirals. However, formulating new vaccines and synthesizing new antivirals are a laborious task. Therefore, considering the high infection rate and mortality due to COVID-19, utilization of previous information, and repurposing of existing drugs against valid viral targets have emerged as a novel drug discovery approach in this challenging time. The transmembrane spike (S) glycoprotein of coronaviruses (CoVs), which facilitates the virus’s entry into the host cells, exists in a homotrimeric form and is covered with N-linked glycans. S glycoprotein is known as the main target of antibodies having neutralizing potency and is also considered as an attractive target for therapeutic or vaccine development. Similarly, targeting of N-linked glycans of S glycoprotein envelope of CoV via carbohydrate-binding agents (CBAs) could serve as an attractive therapeutic approach for developing novel antivirals. CBAs from natural sources like lectins from plants, marine algae and prokaryotes and lectin mimics like Pradimicin-A (PRM-A) have shown antiviral activities against CoV and other enveloped viruses. However, the potential use of CBAs specifically lectins was limited due to unfavorable responses like immunogenicity, mitogenicity, hemagglutination, inflammatory activity, cellular toxicity, etc. Here, we reviewed the current scenario of CBAs as antivirals against CoVs, presented strategies to improve the efficacy of CBAs against CoVs; and studied the molecular interactions between CBAs (lectins and PRM-A) with Man9 by molecular docking for potential repurposing against CoVs in general, and SARSCoV- 2, in particular.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the concert for piano and symphony orchestra by the modern Azerbaijani composer R. Agababayev. The article is very relevant from the point of view of identifying ways to implement classical traditions in a modern piano concerto of the 21st century. It must be said that in this issue we have found many such stylistic features that testify to the strong reliance of Azerbaijani composers on classical traditions. This article is devoted to the study of identifying the stylistic features of R. Agababayev’s piano concerto in the context of the historical development of this genre. Research methodology. The choice of the methodological basis for this study is due to the above goals and tasks that we set ourselves in the framework of this work. Based on the subject matter of the article, the methodological basis of this scientific work is a complex analysis, which implies the interaction of several research methods at different levels. The basis for the analytical analysis of the piano concerto was a theoretical approach, in which such aspects of the work as the problem of form formation, stylistic features of individual elements of the musical language are subject to research. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time as special research work is the study and detailed analysis of R. Agababayev’s piano concerto. Conclusions. The main conclusion of our scientific research was to determine the stylistic features of the Azerbaijani piano concert created in the 21st century. Based on the data obtained during the analysis, we were able to determine the main trends and ways of development of this genre at the present stage of the development of Azerbaijani academic music. One of the important, if not decisive, aspect in achieving this kind of goal is to identify issues of preserving and transforming traditions, as well as innovative tendencies in the composer’s solution of a particular work. Single-movement piano concertos have become widespread in academic music since the beginning of the era of romanticism. And in the Azerbaijani one-part piano concerts, connections with romantic traditions are deeply felt. Moreover, in each specific work, these traditions are reflected especially. Since the concert by R. Agababayev demonstrates an interesting and original one-part interpretation, combined with an inner poly-part one, this is a typically romantic tendency associated with the composers’ desire to compress the cycle.

The paper is devoted to the outstanding native botanist-geographer Andrey Nikolayevich Krasnov (1862-1914), who, with his original works, left a remarkable track in the history of geographic science. He has done a lot for the development of geography. Geospatial comparative-geographic research occupied a special place in the many-sided scientific work of the outstanding educator and geographer. Andrey Krasnov conducted them in the homeland and in different places of the globe. The purpose of this study is to highlight multi-component comparative-geographical developments, which are widely represented in Andrey Krasnov’s works. Elements of comparative analysis and comparative approach as a whole in these publications focus on itself all the richness of research work and constructive nature use results of the scientist, relevant up to now. Andrey Krasnov substantially enriched the comparative approach with the techniques of geographical comparative method with regard to research of the comparable geospatial objects of nature, and also considerably strengthened the approach by methods of paleogeographical, genetic, morphological, geomorphological, evolutionary, landscape-science content. Andrey Krasnov’s original geomorphological hypothesis of steppes forestlessness was developed by comparative study of steppe nature in different parts of the world. Using comparative approach Andrey Krasnov came to the conclusion that it is possible to create "Japan" in Colchis and grow tea there. The co-creation of man with nature realized by him (in the case of the introduction of tropical plants in analogical environment) was carried out on the basis of comparative-geographical approach. In that co-creation the future of constructive geography was guessed. Andrey Krasnov advanced and worked out the idea of "geographic combinations" – landscapes as the main objects of study of geographical science. This idea preceded the science of geographic landscapes and their regionalization, as well as the distinguishing of landscapes-analogues in different regions and zones of the Earth. Andrey Krasnov for the first time in the national literature has outlined the landscape regions and zones (strips) for the territory of the entire globe. In the scientific work of Andrey Krasnov the scientist and artist were harmoniously combined. His works are an example of combination of high scholarship with artistic presentation. He significantly developed the research capabilities of comparative approach and expanded the horizons of its effectiveness, including the teaching and educational field.

We consider the experience of using museum pedagogy to implement the innovation project “Basic schools of the Russian Academy of Sciences”. The main goal of the project is to identify and attract talented young people to the scientific sphere. The school museum can become a place for students to get acquainted with the methods of search and research work, critical thinking development and, as a result, further development in the professional sphere. Based on the analysis of the military and historical glory museum’s work of school graduates and Tambov partisans, “MAEI Lyceum no. 6” managed to identify 4 stages of the project implementation. First of all, with the help of creative tasks and game methods it is necessary to motivate students to engage in search and research work. The next stage implies creation of additional opportunities for scientific self-realization. From the most interested students a creative association is formed, which is engaged in such activities as museology, source study, art and technology, and historical. At this stage the teacher should actively implement the project method of work. It is possible to invite scientists and specialists with lectures and master classes to make students learn more about the features of scientific work. The third stage implies the inclusion of museum lessons in the educational process, and the organization of such lessons should involve members of the creative association. In conclusion: we should not forget about the importance of promoting the museum in the public environment through the official website, media, scientific publications, mass events and excursions for school guests.
