One of the accreditation indicators of a modern Uni-versity is research work. The paper presents an anal-ysis of research carried out at the Department of foreign and Russian languages of the Siberian Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the problem of forming the speech culture of foreign students. The research period is 2018–2020. The topics are indicated, the stages of research are briefly described, and the prospects for scientific work are determined. Research work was carried out on the following topics: “Teaching Russian speech etiquette to students of training courses for foreign specialists in educational organizations of the Minis-try of Internal Affairs of Russia”; “Formation of speech culture of students of training courses for foreign specialists, taking into account the regional component”. The presented generalization of the research work made it possible to verify the rele-vance of the chosen direction and the need for fur-ther continuation of the work.

Представлены результаты опроса слушателей курсов подготовки иностранных специалистов СибЮИ МВД России. Выявлено, что респонденты не владеют в полном объеме сведениями о структуре и правилах составления электронного делового письма. The article is devoted to the actual problem of understanding and proficiency of foreign students in the rules of writing an electronic business letter. The article presents the results of a survey of students of the training courses for foreign specialists of the SIBYUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. It was revealed that the respondents do not have full knowledge of the structure and rules of writing an electronic business letter.

The article is devoted to the actual problem of studying the Russian language by foreign students. A special place in teaching Russian as a foreign language is occupied by extracurricular work, including Olympiads and competitions in Russian language teaching. The article presents the experience of participation of students of the training courses for foreign specialists of the SIBUIIA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the SFU student Internet Olympiad in the Russian language.

he object of the study, which formed the basis of this article was to optimize the possibilities of teaching English in educational organizations of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, and the subject is studying the vocabulary of English scientific literature to optimize the possibilities of teaching English in educational organizations of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The aim of the work is to improve and optimize the use of the vocabulary of the English scientific literature to optimize the possibilities of teaching English in educational institutions of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as developing recommendations for teachers on the use of scientific terminology in the process of teaching a foreign language to students and students of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The research methods used in this scientific work are the analysis and systematization of scientific literature on the subject of the research; statistical data processing methods. The scientific novelty of the research consists in expanding, supplementing and refining scientific views on optimizing the possibilities of teaching English in educational institutions of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The practical significance of the results lies in the substantiation of the possibility of using the vocabulary of the English scientific literature in the process of teaching a foreign language to cadets and students of the Russian Interior Ministry.


The article considers possible ways of forming and improving the professional communicative competence that is necessary for the implementation of a presentation speech act – a public defence of the research work written by foreign students. The factors of influencing the presentation success have been determined; the algorithm of processing the written text-source in the shortened version of the report have been proposed. The authors formulate the principles to be followed by a communicator in the course of the defence of a graduation project or an essay project in order to persuade recipients that his/her research is done qualitatively, the topic is relevant, the method is appropriate, the result is probable, the conclusion is substantiated and that the speaker is able to further studies at the scientific- research work. The article deals with the convention standards of scientific work public presentations, the strict execution of which by the speaker ensures standardization of the procedure of protection and positively influences the success of the speech act. Verbal and non-verbal means of feedback with the audience that promote the attraction of listeners' attention, support of the interest to the research problem, and bringing the recipients to the speaker's necessary conclusion have been considered by the authors. The article describes affective strategies for eliminating the feeling of psychological discomfort, excitement, anxiety, fear speaking in public, that assesses not only the essence of the report, but also speaker's abilities; the compensatory strategies for preventing the difficulties associated with the shortage of speaker’s linguistic resources have been described. The educational-methodical principles that the teacher of ULAF faces with in the formation of public speaking skills in the academic situation of the defence of a graduation project or an essay project have been determined on the basis of the research material. It has been proved that the purposeful teaching of presentation skills is an important part of the educational process, as the described form of work corresponds to the communicative needs of professional interactive activities, increases motivation for effective learning. The obtained results allow the use of the proposed methodology for the development of training materials for foreign students according to their speciality.

Систематическое выполнение практических заданий посредством активных и интерактивных методов обучения, подготовка выступлений по соответствующей тематике способствует пониманию иностранными обучающимися этического аспекта речи и овладению правилами русского речевого этикета. The article is devoted to the actual problem of studying the discipline "Russian language and speech culture"by foreign students. The article presents the experience of studying the ethical aspect of speech by students of training courses for foreign specialists of the Russian Ministry of internal Affairs. Systematic implementation of practical tasks through active and interactive teaching methods, preparation of speeches on the relevant topic contributes to the understanding of the ethical aspect of speech by foreign students and mastering the rules of Russian speech etiquette.

Приведены экспериментальные данные оценки по хозяйственно полезным признакам одиннадцати новых партенокарпических гетерозисных гибридов огурца в условиях весенне-летнего оборота Кировской области. Проблема возделывания теплолюбивых культур в северных регионах страны формирует цели селекционных исследований. Выращивание культуры огурца в Кировской области усугубляется неблагоприятными климатическими условиями второй световой зоны (короткая продолжительность вегетационного периода, низкие положительные температуры, заморозки в третьей декаде июля и в первой декаде августа). Цель научной работы – оценка и выявление перспективных партенокарпических гетерозисных гибридов огурца для выращивания в условиях необогреваемых теплиц в весенне-летнем обороте второй световой зоны. Исследования проводили в лаборатории северного овощеводства Кировской области во Всероссийском научно – исследовательском институте овощеводства – филиале ФГБНУ «Федеральный научный центр овощеводства» в условиях поликарбонатных необогреваемых грунтовых теплиц в течение 2018-2019 годах. В результате фенологических наблюдений и оценки биометрических показателей определены раннеспелость, скороспелость и товарность испытуемых партенокарпических гетерозисных гибридов огурца селекции Агрохолдинга «Поиск» и ВНИИО – филиала ФГБНУ «Федеральный научный центр овощеводства»: F1Авоська, F1 Атос, F1 Букет для мамы, F1Малахитовая шкатулка, F1 Мультифрут, F1 Новатор, F1Пилигрим, F1 Спринтер, F1 Реванш, F1 Тонус, F1Экспресс в сравнении с районированным гибридом огурца F1 Каролина. Определено сильное негативное влияние климатических условий второй световой зоны на продолжительность периода «всходы-плодоношение», который в среднем за годы исследований в зависимости от гибрида варьировал от 47 до 55 суток. Установлено, что для получения ранней продукции огурца в условиях поликарбонатных необогреваемых грунтовых теплиц Кировской области следует выращивать гетерозисные партенокарпические гибриды огурца F1Спринтер (3,6 кг/м2), F1 Авоська (2,1 кг/м2) и F1 Атос (2,5 кг/м2). Отмечены партенокарпические гибриды огурца F1 Спринтер и F1 Атос, которые имеют наиболее высокий выход товарной продукции 95,7 и 94,0%, соответственно. Выделен самый урожайный партенокарпический гибрид огурца F1 Новатор (16,1 кг/м2). В результате исследовательской работы рекомендовано выращивать в условиях необогреваемых теплиц весенне-летнего оборота Кировской области партенокарпические гибриды огурца F1 Новатор, F1 Спринтер, F1 Атос и F1 Авоська. The article presents the experimental data on the assessment of economically useful traits of eleven new parthenocarpic heterotic cucumber hybrids under the conditions of the spring-summer turnover of the Kirov region. The problem of cultivation of thermophilic crops, which arises in the northern regions of the country, is one of the stages of breeding research. The cultivation of cucumber in the Kirov region is aggravated by unfavorable climatic conditions of the second light zone (short duration of the growing season, low positive temperatures, frosts in the third decade of July and in the first decade of August). The purpose of the scientific work is to evaluate and identify promising parthenocarpic heterotic hybrids of cucumber for growing in unheated greenhouses in the spring-summer turnover of the second light zone. The research was carried out in the laboratory of northern vegetable growing of the Kirov region at the All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Growing - a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution Federal Scientific Vegetable Centre in the conditions of polycarbonate unheated ground greenhouses during 2018-2019. As a result of phenological observations and assessment of biometric indicators, the early maturity, early maturity and marketability of the tested parthenocarpic heterotic cucumber hybrids of the selection of Agroholding Poisk and ARRIVG – a branch of the Federal Scientific Vegetable Centre were determined: F1 Avoska, F1 Atos, F1 Buket dlya mamy, F1 Multifrut, F1 Novator, F1 Piligrim, F1Sprinter, F1 Revansh, F1 Tonus, F1 Express in comparison with the zoned hybrid of cucumber F1 Carolina. A strong negative influence of climatic conditions of the second light zone on the duration of the seedling-fruiting period was determined, which on average over the years of research, depending on the hybrid, varied from 47 to 55 days. It has been established that to obtain early production of cucumber in polycarbonate unheated ground greenhouses of the Kirov region, heterotic parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1 Sprinter (3.6 kg/m2), F1 Avoska (2.1 kg/m2) and F1 Atos (2.5 kg/m2). Parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1 Sprinter and F1 Atos were noted, which have the highest yield of marketable products, 95.7 and 94.0%, respectively. The most productive parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid F1Novator (16.1 kg/m2) has been identified. As a result of the research work, it was recommended to grow parthenocarpic cucumber hybrids F1Novator, F1 Sprinter, F1 Atos and F1 Avoska under conditions of unheated greenhouses of spring-summer turnover of the Kirov region.

The results of analytical studies of the subject and subjectivity in relation to law enforcement officers based on the academicians Eddy V. Sayko and Anatoly A. Derkach’s fundamental research are presented in the article. Service in the internal Affairs bodies is a deterministic system. It is characterized by huge information flows, extreme neuropsychic and emotional loads, and complex interpersonal relationships. In this regard, increased requirements are imposed on employees of all levels of the law enforcement system. After studying the long-term dynamics of the level of readiness of cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia in the framework of self-development, it can be concluded that specialized competencies formed in the classroom according to the traditional system are not transformedinto skills of the highest order. Based on the research, the obvious problem of further improving the methodology of teaching competent actions in the course of performing operational and service tasks in various conditions is revealed. It is reasonable that the traditional learning process involves the development of a specific algorithm of actions in standard situations of operational and service activities, and when introducing various tasks of modeling typical situations, students often cannot complete the task in changing conditions (beyond the standard).

Methods of training in advanced training groups formed from the staff of personnel divisions of the MIA of Russia, which involve the use of anti-corruption education at different stages of professional activity are discussed in the article. A comprehensive approach to the formation of anti-corruption behavior, which allows using various forms of training of police officers in their relation is described. The effectiveness of this approach in the system of professional development was shown. A comprehensive approach allows the training process to pay attention to the needs and difficulties in the field of corruption prevention without spending time on basic training information. Several stages in the organization and content of training are considered. Each of them corresponds to different stages of professional development of specialists of personnel divisions of internal affairs bodies. Described in detail every stage is aimed at a separate audience and has its own value. The possibilities of anti-corruption education are presented, starting with the selection of personnel for service in the internal affairs bodies and ending with the preparation for dismissal. The anti-corruption educational activities carried out at the present time are analyzed. Methods of intensifying each of them and the possibilities of optimal inclusion in the developed complex of content and forms are determined. The proposed approach can be used for majority posts. It is not limited to human resources units. In addition, the developed methodological material can be used by students in the course of their professional activities in the field after studying at advanced training courses.

The article reveals the content of modern training technologies for internal affairs bodies; approaches are presented to training and education of cadets and students of educational organizations of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and educational methods the foundation of which is formed value content of professional activities: patriotism and citizenship, service to the Fatherland and interests of the people, loyalty to the law and official duty. The authors propose specific methods (case methods, group discussions, role-playing and business games) for use during seminars and practical classes in the discipline «Professional ethics and official etiquette». These methods are active and interactive, and their content is based on the appeal to literary and cinematic works on the activities of law enforcement officers on various stages of national history. The article is of methodological interest for scientific and academicians of educational organizations of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, teaching humanities. The authors come to the conclusion that the use of educational methods of teaching in the classroom gives cadets and listeners a clear idea of the main components of professional activity and official duty, morality and law, strengthens the understanding of the continuity of the glorious traditions of previous generations of employees of the internal affairs bodies, allows creating the Ministry of Internal Affairs in educational organizations Russia a favorable upbringing environment and qualitatively raise the level of practical readiness of graduates for professional activities.
