The transformation from agriculture to industrial business has led to radical socio-economic shifts, while the related employment issues have taken place. Certain problems have been illustrated by a critical view of attain the education,employability, patterns and political outlook for people with disabilities. While paradigms in their employment facilities have changed dramatically, a number of shortages and obstacles make a more concentrated and systematic effort to achieve maximum benefits essential for them. Hence the government taking more steps for these people those who struggling for primary education and their employment opportunity. The educational policies is the supportive stone of their employment opportunity of differently abled people and this lack of education is the informal influence of them become a self-employer in the environment for their survival. This study indicates the educational policy of differently abled people and various ministries allocated for the educated and uneducated person with disability employment opportunities in India.

The employment opportunity policy for persons with disabilities is a policy established by the Government which aims to provide employment opportunities and create employment opportunities for persons with disabilities in order to create equal employment rights between persons with disabilities and normal society so that discrimination against persons with disabilities is eliminated. This study aims to look at the implementation of employment opportunities policies for persons with disabilities in Pekanbaru City and the factors that influence the implementation of these policies. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. This study uses the theory of policy implementation according to Merilee S. Grindle which consists of two indicators that affect the performance of public policy implementation, namely indicators of policy content which include the interests of the target group, types of benefits, degree of desired change, location of decision making, program implementers, resources involved, and indicators of the implementation environment consisting of the powers, interests, and strategies of the actors involved; characteristics of institutions and authorities; compliance and responsiveness. The results of this study are the finding of deficiencies that must be considered to be improved, namely in the aspect of implementing responsiveness (lack of socialization) so that policy implementation has not run optimally in Pekanbaru City. Researchers also found several factors that influence the implementation of this policy in Pekanbaru City, namely the objectives of the policy, human resources, economic conditions, as well as the response and participation of the target group.

This study aims to determine the role and efforts of the ILO in promoting the rights of persons with disabilities employment opportunities in Indonesia in 2012-2014. This study used qualitative methods, with the data collection technique literature (online searches, interviews, documentation). As for analyzing the data, researchers used data reduction techniques. The results showed that the role carried out by the ILO through PROPEL project-Indonesia in promoting the rights of persons with disabilities employment opportunities in Indonesia serves as a platform and means. ILO helps, socialize, approach, providing technical assistance and recommend solutions or policies in dealing with disability issues against the government, employers and labor unions in Indonesia. The conclusion from this study is the ILO has contributed to promoting the rights of persons with disabilities employment opportunities in Indonesia, is viewed from many policy makers began raising the issue of disability in providing employment opportunities to Indonesian people with disabilities and priorities Disability Bill for the Government of Indonesia today.

The authors investigate potential discrimination against people with disabilities through a field experiment that sent job applications to 6,016 accounting positions for which the applicants’ disabilities are unlikely to affect productivity. One-third of the cover letters disclosed that the applicant had a spinal cord injury, one-third disclosed the presence of Asperger’s syndrome, and one-third did not mention disability. The disability applications received 26% fewer expressions of employer interest. This gap was concentrated among experienced applicants and small private companies that are not covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Tests suggest possible positive effects of the ADA, but not of state laws, in reducing the disability gap. Results indicate there may be substantial room for employer and policy initiatives to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

The paper analyses the evolution of Yu. Samarin’s ideas from rationalism to “holistic knowledge”. Special attention is paid to the philosopher’s conceptualization of the key role of religion for a nation. The author also examines the scholar’s position concerning the promotion of patriotism as an important impetus for social development. Emphasis is made on analyzing the interaction of universal and national aspects in the educational process, as well as on the value of national identity in the field of humanities. The article also presents Yu. Samarin’s critical evaluation of the government educational policy and his suggestions on increasing its effectiveness. The author notes the relevance of Yu. Samarin’s views for the contemporary philosophical and educational context.

Abstract Policymakers have increasingly embraced social enterprises as a vehicle to create job opportunities for the disadvantaged. However, there is limited research on social enterprises in the context of disability in relation to labour market integration. Drawing on the perspectives of representatives of work integration social enterprises and people with disabilities employed in these enterprises (n=21), this study examines whether and how work integration social enterprises promote inclusion for people with disabilities, and also explores the role of WISEs in enabling people with disabilities to transition into open employment. Thematic analysis revealed three key emergent themes: Cocooned inclusion but not transition; Reinforced normative demarcation; and WISEs as a deflection from institutionalizing proactive disability policy measures. This article argues that, although WISEs were able to provide job opportunities for people with disabilities, their purported function in enabling disabled people to transition into open employment remains constrained by factors beyond their control including prevailing norms and the absence of proactive disability employment measures. This article cautions against the over-romanticisation of WISEs as the primary means to ensure the rights of people with disabilities to participate in the labour market. Implications on disability employment policies in relation to social enterprises are discussed.

This article analyses two cases of populist mobilisation – namely, one against a primary school entry-age reform and another against WHO sexuality education and the concept of gender – that took place in Poland between 2008 and 2019. Both campaigns had a populist character and were oriented towards restoring social justice taken away from ‘the people’ by a morally corrupted ‘elite’. There are differences between the cases that can be analytically delineated by assessing whether a religious mobilisation has an overt or a covert character. While the series of protests against the school-age reform represents a case of mobilisation with covert religious symbolism, the campaigns against sexuality education and the use of the concept of gender are characterised by overt religious populism. To characterise the dynamics of the two campaigns, the study uses the concept of a moral panic, emphasising the importance of moral entrepreneurs waging ideological war against the government and/or liberal experts conceived of as ‘folk devils’.

El objetivo de la investigación es mostrar cómo se representan las personas con discapacidad en las imágenes de los libros de texto de Educación Física en la etapa de Educación Primaria. El estudio es de tipo empírico, descriptivo y comparativo entre los libros de texto analizados. La muestra recogió 3836 imágenes de libros de texto publicados en España entre los años 2006 y 2013, bajo la Ley Orgánica de Educación (LOE). La técnica de investigación fue el análisis de contenido a través de un sistema de categorías elaborado ad hoc, previa validación y fiabilidad mediante una prueba piloto, una consulta a expertos/as y una prueba intercodificadores. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el software SPSS 19.0. Se realizó un análisis univariante y bivariante con la prueba Kolmogorov-Smirnov, la prueba de Levene y el test Ji-Cuadrado de Pearson con un nivel de significación del 5%. Los resultados mostraron que las personas con discapacidad son prácticamente excluidas en dichas imágenes, siendo casi invisible la mujer con discapacidad. A su vez, la persona con discapacidad es de raza blanca, entre niña y joven y con una discapacidad física, principalmente representada en silla de ruedas. La actividad física que aparece en este colectivo se asocia a la práctica deportiva, en un ámbito competitivo y de máximo nivel. Estos resultados están muy alejados de la inclusión de la discapacidad en la sociedad actual y concretamente, en los libros de texto de Educación Física en Primaria, del sistema educativo español.  Abstract. The objective of this research is to show how people with disabilities are represented in Physical Education textbooks in use in Primary Education. The study design is empirical, descriptive, and focuses on comparing between the analyzed textbooks. A sample of 3,836 images were collected from textbooks published in Spain between 2006 and 2013, under the Organic Law of Education (LOE). A research technique based on content analysis was employed through a tailor-made system of categories, which was previously tested for validity and reliability in a pilot study, by consulting experts, as well as by intercoder agreement test. The statistical analysis of data was performed using the software SPSS 19.0. Univariate and bivariate analysis with Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Levene test and Pearson Chi-Square test were performed, setting the significance level at 5%. Results showed that people with disabilities are mostly excluded in these images, especially impaired women. Disabled people are represented as Caucasian, either children or youth with a physical disability, mostly using wheelchair. Physical activity appearing in this group is associated with sports at a competitive and maximum level. These results are far from the inclusion of disability in today's society and specifically in textbooks of Physical Education in Primary Education within the Spanish educational system.

This research discussed grand investment tourism sector efforts to increase the number of villas and hotels to expand employment opportunities in the   Sub-district of Ubud Bali." affect the economic growth of a region. The main problem is how is the tourism sector's grand investment effort to increase the number of villas and hotels to expand employment opportunities in the Sub-district of Ubud Bali? High levels of unemployment can increase the amount of crime and increase social unrest. If examined further, from an economic standpoint, if many foreign and local investments are realized then job opportunities are wide open for the people in the area and other regions so that people's income rises by itself. The government is trying to create vocational education that aims to produce a quality and superior workforce in all sectors. Investment activities are the use of a sum of money in the hope of obtaining benefits and can plan their financing and implementation as a unit of activity within a certain period of time. Expenditure on investment costs is done once and only produces benefits a few years later.

Industrialization is a progressive measure that creates social and economic change by transforming human society from pre-industrialization to industrial era; Industrialization plays a predominant role in the development of the economy, acts as a basic fundamental factor that is influenced by the growth prospects of the economy of a country. The prominence of industrialization creates employment opportunities, balancing the regional development living and poverty eradication, etc. In this context, the unorganized sector acts as a factory for entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities as well as a tool for poverty eradication. So the present study attempts to analyze the working of puffed rice units in the Davangere region. These industries are providing various employment opportunities to the poor and illiterate people. Because these are labor-intensive industries. The present study is based on the puffed rice workers and their working conditions and environment. In malebennur town there are more than 50 puffed rice industries are working. In the study area, people depend on the making of puffed rice for their livelihood. The main purpose of the study is to know about the current status, growth, and development of the puffed rice units and also discuss the government initiative in the development of an unorganized puffed rice cluster in Davangere. The study is based on primary data with field survey and secondary data, which includes different reference books, journals, research papers, seminar proceedings, articles, and government publications, annual reports, etc.

AbstractThe employment of people with disabilities has multidimensional aspects - economic, social, legal, human rights, discrimination, psychological, ethical and responsibility aspects - with different actors involved representing various kinds of interests. The European Union Disability Action Plan and Strategy specifies the objective of promoting the employment of people with disabilities in the open labour market. The employment of such individuals is not only an economic issue, but also an issue of social inclusion, poverty reduction, equal opportunity and socially responsible employment. Effective and fair use of human resources for national economic development requires a variety of support mechanisms, including regulatory frameworks, the active involvement of local municipalities, and measures taken by state institutions. Because of the different issues and the various actors with different interests involved, an integrated way has to be considered to analyse the employment factors and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The purpose of this study is to explore and substantiate the possible scenarios associated with promotion employment opportunities for people with disabilities in Latvia. The research methodology employed for this study is based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process, and expert interviews are used to analyse the interests of all involved parties, in order to determine the best possible scenarios as to how to stimulate employment for people with disabilities. As a result, three scenarios to promote the employment of people with disabilities were developed. Although the results showed slight differences between the three scenarios, experts believe that the optimal scenario for promoting the employment of people with disabilities is the one in which the EU participates.
