Abstract: The study of this paper originated from the author's anxiety about the appropriate method of training church members. The author tries to provide a new perspective in the formation of new members of the congregation in the form of transformative deacons. The author offers another way of evangelizing and developing a deacon, namely, a shelter for camps. The author uses a descriptive approach to narrating the facts in the field. Data is collected, reduced and then analyzed so that conclusions are drawn from the facts found. The result was that the halfway house had become a place to preach the gospel in the interior of Mount Meratus. This tent house is a learning space for children to know Christ. A halfway house is a place for children to be guided with skills and independence in various daily activities to become human beings with integrity. The facts found in the field show that there are still many children who come from Christian families who do not understand life as a good Christian. The halfway house, the blessed tent, is present not only as a place for learning for children but for parents as well—a halfway house to help children attend. Children are invited to help others in need.  Keywords: Halfway House, Evangelism, Transformative Diaconia  Abstrak: Kajian tulisan ini berawal dari kegelisahan penulis mengenai metode yang tepat dalam pembinaan warga jemaat. Help towards understanding the human and religious functions of tradition comes from such sociologists as Peter Berger, Anthony Giddens, and Edward Shils. Tradition by Shils continues to illuminate how, although human beings modify inherited beliefs and change traditional patterns of behaviour, the new always incorporates something of the past. Shils takes a global view of tradition; it embodies everything individuals inherit when born into the world. It is through tradition that new members of society begin to identify themselves. The bearers of tradition may be not only official but also ‘learned’ and ‘ordinary’. Shils dedicates many further pages to changes in traditions and the forces leading to these changes. What sociologists like Giddens say about globalization also affects theological reflection on tradition. Surprisingly, the very few theologians who have published on tradition have ignored the sociologists.

This work is, most of all, designed to wrestle with taken-for-granted explanations as to how hanzi is composed and in what ways the composition the Four Ways of Writing (四書) can be analysed. Beginning with posing a self-reflective question on the academic identities of us, the hanzi civilisation researchers, and looking for a possible answer to it within the context of an Eagletonian conceptualisation of human animality or creatureliness, the work then methodologises the multi-dialectical analysis by virtue of méta-linguistique, transduction, and abstraction concreté. The full-scale analysis of the Four Ways of Writing comes next, taking four steps: first, synthesising the existing definitions, explanations and interpretations of them; second, abstracting the synthesis up to the multi-dialectical analysis; third, introducing a topology of the Four Ways of Writing; and fourth, analysing characters related to and expanding from two radical characters of 門 and 刀 with the aid of a dynamics of trialectics between the form, sound and meaning. Resting upon all the analyses performed, the work suggests the following conclusion. Amongst hanzi’s main characteristics is morphographicality (表形性), still the most distinctive within the analytical framework of the Four Ways of Writing. It is the very form of hanzi, as a matter of fact, that also turns out to be multi-dialectical: first, that which constitutes writing as the character trialectically related with both the sound and meaning; second, that which characterises writing as écriture of the dialectical relationship between human beings and nature; and last, that which dialectically elucidates who we are and what we are capable of.

Issues of Liberation Education for children with special needs (Heward), (Wiyani 2014: 2) become a n interesting phenomenon that requires educational innovation. the philosophy of ABK education innovation is liberation both physically and psychologically, as human beings. Bandhie Delphie (2012: 2) revealed that children with special needs have their own learning characteristics and specificities. Likewise, children with special needs at the Leleani PLB school and Pelita Kasih Ambon. They need a pattern of liberation education as a way of humanization. The purpose of this paper is to design liberation education to find patterns of education that free children with special needs. The implication is that every child will accept his existence as a free human being, an independent human being, especially a humanist person. The method used to collect and analyze problems based on research data is qualitative with a descriptive approach whose results are dialogue and communication with love and affection. Apart from that consientization (Freire, 1984: 41) self as a human being. The conclusion of liberation education through dialogue and communication in love and affection and the effort to build self-awareness of children with special needs is the design of liberation education for children with special needs as a way to discover the human nature of themselves as human beings.

The high divorce rate in Indonesia, including among Christian families, has in recent years been a struggle together. Divorce itself is the mouth of a variety of pressures faced by Christian families that are not properly resolved. Not a few Christian families have a vulnerable resilience due to their inability to manage conflicts that occur. On the other hand, the Church must recognize that it has an ethical and theological responsibility to maintain the resilience of the family members of its congregation. However, the fact is that most churches do not have a programmed mission to nurture husband and wife members of their congregations in order to maintain family resilience. In fact, many churches do not have documented teaching material for cultivating Christian families. This article is a summary of development research that seeks to create a design for Christian husband and wife formation materials that can later be used by church leaders for the survival of the family of church members. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D), which is used to produce certain products, and test their effectiveness. In this research, the design of Christian husband and wife guidance materials for the family resilience of church members is produced.

Information and communication technology is a resource used in the processes and activities of business and government. Recent trends indicate that it is becoming an important resource in the daily activities of human beings. But the similarity between information and communication technology ends here. While other technologies tend to be applicable only in the specific industries and defined areas of operations, the potential of information and communication technology in business, government, and human activities is more universal. Information and communication technology provides several concepts that enable business, government, and human beings to reach new realities in their sector. Some of the concepts have created opportunities for designing and manufacturing electronic devices. This chapter talks about making use of the electronic devices in an open innovative thinking and approach.

AbstractThe debate over counsels of perfection was a crucial aspect of the formation of political and ethical thought in the sixteenth century. It led both Protestants and Catholics to consider the status of law and to consider how far it obliged human beings, rather than simply permitting particular actions. From Luther onwards, Protestants came to see God's standards for human beings in absolute terms, rejecting any suggestion that there were good works which were merely counselled rather than commanded, and therefore not obligatory. This view of ethics underpinned the Protestant theological critique of Catholic doctrines of merit but it also shaped the distinctively Protestant account of natural law. It enabled Luther and his allies to defend magisterial control over the church, and it also formed a crucial element of Protestant resistance theory. By examining the Lutheran position on counsels, expressed in theological and political writings, and comparing it with contemporary Catholic accounts, this article offers a new perspective on Reformation theology and political thought.

The development of sensor technologies and smart devices has made it possible to realize real-time data acquisition of human beings. Human behavior monitoring is the process of obtaining activity information with wearables and computer technology. In this paper, we design a data preprocessing method based on the data collected by a single three-axis accelerometer. We first use Butterworth filter as low-pass filtering to remove the noise. Then, we propose a KGA algorithm to remove abnormal data and smooth them at the same time. This method uses genetic algorithm to optimize the parameters of Kalman filter. After that, we use a threshold-based method to identify falls that are harmful to the elderly. The key point of this method is to distinguish falls from people’s daily activities. According to the characteristics of human falls, we extract eigenvalues that can effectively distinguish daily activities from falls. In addition, we use cross-validation to determine the threshold of the method. The results show that in the analysis of 11 kinds of human daily activities and 15 types of falls, our method can distinguish 15 types of falls. The recognition recall rate in our method reaches 99.1%.
