The problem of poverty in Indonesia is still unresolved to date. Related to the problem of poverty, ideas emerge in an effort to alleviate poverty that focuses on empowerment, entrepreneurship and deacons. These three ideas of thought can lead to dangers, including: empowerment and entrepreneurship can trigger the spirit of capitalism which can lead to greed and high egocentrism. Whereas deacons can make people keep silent without the effort to move out of poverty. So that the three concepts of poverty alleviation do not fall into this danger, it is necessary to provide a basis for thinking about the theology of ownership and the function of wealth. One of the books that could provide a prospect for rationale is the book of Luke. The book of Luke leaves ample room for discussion of the theology of property and function of wealth. In this paper, the author uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The result of this research is that the book of Luke contributes thoughts about the theology of ownership and the function of wealth. His contribution is that in Luke's writings there is a systemic pattern that was born from the theology of property and function of wealth. This systemic pattern can contribute to the idea that the church can create a poverty alleviation system that not only works on an individualistic level, but also has a communal dimension that involves poor and rich people in order to create a community without social disparities.

The phrase that "Samuel ruled as judge over the Israelites all his life" indicates that the spiritual and governmental responsibilities did not cease until he died. The atmosphere of socio-political service is described even more strikingly and impressively when the monarchy reigned under the reign of the first king in Israel under the reign of King Saul. Socio-political service does not stop even though he is no longer the leader of the Israeli people, namely as a judge, but he still interacts with socio-political issues in addition to the spiritual and social problems of his nation. This fact of Samuel's ministry shows the need for a realistic understanding in today's society that the leadership of God's people in this matter can also be the leadership of God's church so as not to refuse at all or be hesitant to take part in ministry in socio-political life. In this paper the author only examines the exposition of words and phrases, namely trying to understand the knowledge or understanding of the biblical texts which are clearly closely related to the socio-political ministry of the Prophet Samuel so that this knowledge can be appropriated so that God's people can apply them in socio-political life. present time. The research method used in this paper is descriptive method. The use of this descriptive method is used to get a clear picture of the exposition texts, whether they are phrases / phrases or words that intersect with the experience and ministry of the prophet Samuel in the socio-political field during the transition period from the rule of judges to the monarchy of Israel. The themes of the descriptive study and discussion are formed from the exposition of the phrases and words in the socio-political field of the ministry and experience of the prophet Samuel.

For a long time, the role of women was restricted and even prohibited from being involved in church ministry. Even more specifically, there are still views that prohibit or reject the role of women as pastors in the church. Some have used the text of 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 and 1 Timothy 2:9-15 as a biblical foundation to strengthening this views. However, the I see that these two texts can’t be used as a biblical foundation to prohibiting or rejecting the role of women as pastors in the church. Therefore, I will reinterpret these two texts by paying attention to the context of the text and its literary elements. This is necessary to find the true meaning what Paul told in both of texts. Based on this interpretation, it will found that Paul did not prohibit the involvement of women in church in every place and time. Paul's words in the text were responded to the problems faced by the church in each text and cannot be applied absolutely in every place and time

The high divorce rate in Indonesia, including among Christian families, has in recent years been a struggle together. Divorce itself is the mouth of a variety of pressures faced by Christian families that are not properly resolved. Not a few Christian families have a vulnerable resilience due to their inability to manage conflicts that occur. On the other hand, the Church must recognize that it has an ethical and theological responsibility to maintain the resilience of the family members of its congregation. However, the fact is that most churches do not have a programmed mission to nurture husband and wife members of their congregations in order to maintain family resilience. In fact, many churches do not have documented teaching material for cultivating Christian families. This article is a summary of development research that seeks to create a design for Christian husband and wife formation materials that can later be used by church leaders for the survival of the family of church members. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D), which is used to produce certain products, and test their effectiveness. In this research, the design of Christian husband and wife guidance materials for the family resilience of church members is produced.

Liberation Theology as a movement and theological method has a unique hermeneutical approach. The way they study the Bible begins with studying their real life situations, then they identify the answers the Bible gives to their real problems. Interpreting the Bible starting from the context by some scholar was considered as an act of eisegesis, and not exegesis. Thus, this paper aims to review the hermeneutical approach used by Liberation Theology movement. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive-analytical method. Liberation Theology's hermeneutical approach is clearly outlined. Furthermore, the analysis of this approach is carried out by tracing its philosophical basis. In this way, one can judge the hermeneutics of Liberation Theology fairly and proportionally. The view being argued in this paper is that criticism of the hermeneutical approach of Liberation Theology is not properly positioned in the contradiction between exegesis and eisegesis, but it needs to be understood as beyond the contradiction. Although this approach starts its hermeneutic circle from context to text, that does not mean it cannot be justified. Pre-understanding before reading the text is raised clearly so that it can be spoken about with the intention of the text being read. It is in the process of dialoguing the context with the biblical text that the "meaning" is formed. The relationship between text and context is not understood as a linear one-way movement, but as an interconnected circle.
