The problem with gouramy cultivation was slow growth due to the short intestines of gouramy so that the absorption of feed takes longer and less. Several previous studies used temulawak in the form of flour, extract, oil which was applied to carp, tilapia, milkfish, catfish. The addition of extract, temulawak flour to the feed gave an increase in growth both in length and weight in the test fish. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the effect of temulawak extract on the growth of gouramy fish. This research was conducted for 45 days. This research was conducted by experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments (P) 3 times replication (U), in order to obtain 15 experimental units. Treatment 0 Control (without temulawak extract), Treatment 1 Provision of temulawak extract with a concentration of 14%/kg feed, Treatment P2 Administration of temulawak extract with a concentration of 16%/kg feed, treatment P3 Administration of temulawak extract with a concentration of 18%/kg feed, and treatment P4 administration of temulawak extract with a concentration of 20%/kg feed. The results showed that in the P0 treatment the absolute weight gain was 0.78 grams, in the P1 treatment the absolute weight was 0.58 grams, the P2 treatment was 0.33 grams, the P3 treatment was 0.37 grams, and in the P4 treatment it was obtained The result of absolute weight gain was 0.39 grams. The results showed the absolute length increase ranged from 0.35-0.57 cm. It can be concluded that the addition of temulawak extract to the commercial feed of carp has no significant effect on absolute weight, absolute length, survival rate and feed efficiency level.

The problem that often arises in tilapia cultivation is the low growth of fish caused by the provision of feed that contains high energy but cannot be digested by fish. Utilization of commercial feed as feed for tilapia growth is less effective because the feed is still complex so it requires energy to be broken down into more simple. The method used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) which was then analyzed using one way ANOVA variance. The best results were obtained in treatment 4 with an absolute weight value of 2.97, absolute length of 1.19, specific growth rate of 2.75, survival of 83.33% and feed conversion of 0.95%. The conclusion of this study is the treatment of 4 absolute weight of 2.97 g and absolute length of 1.19 cm.

The high cost of shrimp or lobster feed is also a problem in the sustainability of aquaculture, even though freshwater crayfish, including eaters, require proper and relatively cheap feed selection. One source of feed that can be used as an alternative is green clams and silk worms. This study aims to determine which feed is better and more affordable for freshwater lobster seeds, so that the sustainability of cultivation can be well maintained in terms of economy, quality and quantity. The method used was descriptive comparing between the two feeds given a dose of each treatment, namely 10% of the lobster seed biomass, then analyzed using a 95% confidence level t-test.       The results showed a significant effect (P <0.05), on the absolute length growth and absolute weight of freshwater lobster seeds. The absolute length of the seeds given green shellfish feed is 0.94 ± 0.38 cm and silkworm feed is 0.66 ± 0.27 cm, for the absolute weight of green shellfish feed is 5.11 ± 0.38 gr and silk worm feed 2.68 ± 0.18 gr. The best results from the two feeding treatments for freshwater lobster seeds were using green shellfish feed with an absolute weight value of 5.11 ± 0.38 gr and the absolute length is 0.94 ± 0.38 cm. So that green shellfish feed can be used as a better alternative feed for the cultivation of freshwater lobster seed enlargement.

Muh. Aryan R Suci. Growth of Baronang Fish (Siganus canaliculatus) in Basic Net Cages in Different Seagrass Conditions on Lantang Peo Island, Takalar Regency. Lantang Peo Island which is one of the islands which is covered by several types of seagrass. Data collection was carried out from September to October 2016 at the Lantang Peo estuary. The first treatment is observation of density, cover and identification of seagrass. The second treatment is measuring water quality and the last one is measuring the weight and length of the baronang fish. Observation of seagrass species obtained Enhalus accoroides and Thalassia hempichii species. The total density of seagrass at Station I was 47 (teg / m2) 10.03% cover of seagrass, 70 (teg / m2) density of seagrass at Station II was 17.12% and the total density of seagrass at Station III was 90 (teg / m2) 18.13%. Observation of the absolute growth of baronang fish weight at station I of 1 gr. At station II the absolute weight growth of fish is 3 gr and at station III the absolute weight growth of fish is 5 gr. Observations of the absolute length increase of fish at Station I were 1 cm, the absolute length increase of fish at Station II was 2 cm and the absolute length increase of fish at Station III was 3 cm. This difference occurs due to the different density structure of the seagrass at each station.

Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) is a cultivated species favored by Indonesian and has great potential for development. However, the obstacle to the success of catfish cultivation is a disease. One alternative to overcome this problem is by giving immunostimulants from natural ingredients. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of feeding with moringa leaf powder on non-specific immunity and growth performance of sangkuriang catfish. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments (100% commercial feed, commercial feed with 1.5% Moringa leaf supplementation, commercial feed with 3% Moringa leaf supplementation, and commercial feed with Moringa leaf supplementation 4.5%, and 3 replications. The results showed that the commercial feed with 4.5% moringa leaf supplementation gave the best results for total erythrocytes of 5.97x104 cells/mm3 and MCV of 92.10 fl, and increased the absolute weight growth of 46.42 g. However, it did not show a significant effect on total erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCHC, MCH, MCV, total leukocytes, leukocyte differentials, phagocytic activity, phagocytosis index, absolute weight growth survival rate, and the value of the feed convention ratio (FCR).

The Kapar fish  (Belontia hasselti) is the consumption fish that is obtained only on wild caught. Not yet succeeded in culture this fish, so domestication is needed as an early stage of the aquaculture. The purpose of this research was to knowning the stages of domestication of Kapar fish caught from the Sebangau river in the process of adaptation to new habitats in semi-permanent ponds which is seen from the observation of water quality as well as the growth and survival rate of the Kapar fish. Environmental adaptation for culture fish is the key to successful domestication. Observations of water quality in the fish's wild habitat with the quality of the water where the fish adapt in the pond are slightly different, especially the DO and pH values, but the water quality is still within the tolerance of the Kapar fish to live. The water quality parameters show the temperature in the range 27-29 °C, DO in the range 3-4.2 mg.L-1, and pH in the range 7-7.4. The growth in length and weight during the research showed that the fish were able to adapt feeding. The length and an average weight of Kapar fish until the research were 12.1 cm in length and 31.4 g of weight and it was known that during the research period the absolute length growth of Kapar fish was 1 cm and the absolute weight growth was 8 g . Results of data analysis carried out during the research that the survival rate of Kapar fish is 83 %.
