The study and analysis in this paper based on addressing gender differences is common as long as it does not result in gender inequalities. In general, the notion of gender is a visible difference between men and women when viewed from values and behavior. In the Women Studies Encyclopedia it is explained that Gender is a cultural concept, seeking to make a distinction in terms of the roles, behaviors, mentality, and emotional characteristics of the growing male and female in society. However, reality in society indicates that gender differences give rise to various forms of inequality and injustice. Islam is a religion that strongly emphasizes the importance of respect for human beings and it seems his teaching is very accommodating to human values. One form of elaboration of human values is a sincere recognition of human equality and unity. The women of Rasulullah SAW era are described as active, polite, well-preserved women. In fact, in the Qur'an, the ideal figure of a Muslim is symbolized as a person who has independence in politics, like the figure of Queen Balqis who leads the superpower kingdom (`arsyun` azhim). Communication is the exchange of ideas, information, feelings or thoughts between people (individuals) face to face (face to face), verbal and non verbal. While counseling is a reciprocal relationship between two individuals, where a counselor is trying to help the other (the client) to try to solve the problems he is facing.Relation of gender is a social relationship between men and women who are socially formed and culture in doing everything. Based on the findings, it turns out that the meeting in West Aceh district, who want to appear in politics and to become ruler is still zero percent. Objective: This article analyzed gender differences in professional advancement following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic based on data from open-source software developers in 37 countries. Background: Men and women may have been affected differently from the social distancing measures implemented to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. Given that men and women tend to work in different jobs and that they have been unequally involved in childcare duties, school and workplace closings may have impacted men’s and women’s professional lives unequally. Method: We analyzed original data from the world’s largest social coding community, GitHub. We first estimated a Holt-Winters forecast model to compare the predicted and the observed average weekly productivity of a random sample of male and female developers (N=177,480) during the first lockdown period in 2020. To explain the cross-country variation in the gendered effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on software developers’ productivity, we estimated two-way fixed effects models with different lockdown measures as predictors – school and workplace closures, in particular. Results: In most countries, both male and female developers were, on average, more productive than predicted, and productivity increased for both genders with increasing lockdown stringency. When examining the effects of the most relevant types of lockdown measures separately, we found that stay-at-home restrictions increased both men’s and women’s productivity and that workplace closures also increased the number of weekly contributions on average – but for women, only when schools were open. Conclusion: Having found gender differences in the effect of workplace closures contingent on school and daycare closures within a population that is relatively young and unlikely to have children (software developers), we conclude that the Covid-19 pandemic may indeed have contributed to increased gender inequalities in professional advancement.

The hypothesis about the relationship between masculinity of national culture and the severity of gender differences in the state of volitional regulation among its representatives is tested. Men and women were compared among representatives of masculine (Kabardin, Ossetian, Armenians, Tatars, Bashkirs, Tajiks) and feminine (Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Komi, Mari, Koreans, Tuvans, Jews) ethnic groups. In total, 1453 people aged 18 to 30 years participated in the study. To diagnose the state of volitional regulation of the respondents, the following methods were used: “Action-control scale” by Yu. Kuhl, “Questionnaire for revealing the expression of self-control in the emotional sphere, activity and behavior”, self-appraisals of volitional qualities. It is shown that in masculine cultures, men and women significantly differ in terms of the “Action-control scale”, the severity of emotional, behavioral and social self-control, as well as self-assessments of volitional qualities, while in feminine cultures there are practically no differences. Men demonstrate qualities associated with the implementation of intentions in action, and women demonstrate qualities associated with the organization of their activities in accordance with the requirements of society.

Interpersonal skill (interpersonal ability) is the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to one's feelings, attitudes and behavior, motivations and desires. This ability is very necessary because in everyday life it is almost impossible for humans not to relate to other people. In the scheme of living together arises the need to understand the needs of other human beings. Good and effective interpersonal communication skills are needed by humans so that they can carry out all their activities smoothly. Especially when someone performs activities in formal situations, for example in a work environment. More importantly, when a person's work activities are face-to-face with other people, most of the activities are interpersonal communication activities

Is there a gender gap in voting? Most cross-national survey research on gender inequalities in voter turnout finds that men have a higher probability to vote than women. Yet, some studies using validated turnout data shed some doubt on this finding. We revisit the question of a gender gap in voting using official records. In more detail, we compare the gender gap in turnout between survey data and official electoral figures across 73 elections. Our results highlight that in surveys, men still report higher turnout in most countries. However, official electoral figures reveal contrasting trends: across countries, women are, on average, more likely to vote. We also test two explanations for this difference in turnout between official figures and surveys: (1) men over-report voting more than women and (2) the survey samples of men and women are different. We find some, albeit very moderate, evidence for the first explanation. We find some, albeit very moderate, evidence for the first explanation and no support for the second explanation. All in all, our research nevertheless suggests that scholars should be careful in using surveys to detect gender differences in voting.

Abstract: The social nature of human beings predicts that only relatively weak relationships can be maintained without face to face interaction. Digital revolution and the pervasive presence of technology enable us to communicate, entertain us, play and get information without interacting with other people. Several authors sustain that Internet use affects our emotions, mind, and behavior causing a deficit in our capacity to interact with other people (social cognition) and even causing disorders in mental health (Greenfield, 2015). In this paper, we review the state of the art arguing that exists a psycho-pathologization of social cognition in the digital culture and that Internet, videogames, social media, or virtual reality are not obstacles to social well-being.

Based on the empirical research of a study with 401 respondents from different maritime domains the paper identifies some causes for gender inequalities in the seafaring profession. The study analyzes the physical and social obstacles for integrating female seafarers in the specific maritime environment. The results of the survey confirm that men and women differ in the attitudes they have for the working environment on a ship. The measurement scale used is reflected in the single-factor analysis. The conclusions contribute to the development of additional training courses for maritime universities to be prepared to give their students the necessary knowledge to reduce the gender differences in their future work on a ship.

The perfection of every human being can be achieved if he is able to harmonize the properties of Jalal and Jamal in himself harmoniously, while the perfection of human beings is achieved if men and women can integrate themselves in a harmonious whole both in the narrow sense (marriage) and in the broad sense , namely the occurrence of harmonious relations between men and women in various aspects of life. The concept of masculine and feminine is not necessary and should not be opposed because both are equally important and equally noble. Thus the Sufis give an esoteric interpretation so that they must be fixated on their spiritual increase in God without having to look at His masculine and feminine sides of God, they concentrate on reaching His Jalal and Jamal God together. When they have reached a high spiritual level, they are truly sincere to God so that in all their actions and behavior there is not the slightest spark of worldly interest as is characteristic of humans in general. Functional relations as the basis of humanity "wa‘ ala ar-rijal ‘alaihinna darajah" is for men equals above women and when both are united it will become a real human, and the elaboration of both is the perfection of reaching perfection.

To expand the business ethics research field, and to increase society's understanding of Chinese insurance agents' business ethics, we investigated how gender differences are related to agents' business ethical sensitivity and whether or not these relationships are moderated by empathy. Through a regression analysis of the factors associated with the business ethical sensitivity of 417 Chinese insurance agents, we found that gender played an important role in affecting business ethical sensitivity, and empathy significantly affected business ethical sensitivity. Furthermore, empathy had a moderating effect on the relationship between gender and business ethical sensitivity. Both men and women with strong empathy scored high on business ethical sensitivity; however, men with strong empathy had higher levels of business ethical sensitivity than did women with little empathy. The findings add to the literature by providing insight into the mechanisms responsible for the benefits of empathy in increasing business ethical sensitivity.

Knowledge of  qirā’at  until now has only been regarded as under-standing the various methodologies used in reciting the Quran. There has been very little research into analyzing the implications of recitative differences in terms of their purpose, although the many versions of qira’at rightly give rise to differing exegesis. This paper seeks to examine the implication of Qur’anic recitation in those religious verses that concern gender relations. There are many religious verses that address gender differences but this paper only examines verses connected with the opposite sexes shaking hands and permission for women to work outside the home.  This second verse is mentioned because until now there has often been the viewpoint that women ought not work outside the home as long as men and women shake hands at the beginning and end of business matters. For that reason, this paper is very suitable for analysis as a reminder that very rarely is there a person who interprets the Qur’an from an angle of familiarity with various qira’at.
