In modern linguistics there is a growing scientific interest in the semantic analysis of linguistic phenomena. The increased interest is explained by the fact that it is the study of semantic relations between syntactic units that allows us to reveal the communicative essence of the language. In this regard the study of the structural and semantic features of constructions expressing the relations of concession, which are the most complex among other types of conditionality relations, seems relevant and timely. The purpose of this article is to analyze the concessive relations from the formal and substantive side on the material of the Tatar language. The research was carried out using the conceptual apparatus of modern theories of language categories, as well as ideas about the role and functions of concessive relations both in the system organization of language itself and in contextual discourse. The material for the study was drawn from Tatar fiction and colloquial speech. In the course of the work, the method of linguistic description was used as the main research method. As a result of the conducted research, it was found that concessive relations are built on the opposition of two situations, formed on the basis of conditional, causal, and adversarial values.

The language studies especially the semantics, had been greatly developed, particularly In this present period and It had became the most important issue in human though, because it is the fundamental basic of communication and understanding in community, It is also the root of development and prosperity. The semantics fields are the most important part of modern semantics studies. Such studies have been carried out by some old Arab linguists like: Abi Ubaidat (210. A. H) in his book titled: (Alkhail) the horse. Al- Asmaee (216 A. H) in his book titled: (Khalqu Al- Insaan) Creation of Human. And Ibn- Seedah (448 A. H) In His Book Titled: (AL- Mukhassas) likewise some modern Arab linguists have also contributed to this kind of studies, such as Professor Ahmad Umar Mukhtar, the author of the book (Ilmul- Dilalah) the semantics. Dr. Aliyu AL- Khouli, the writer of the book (Ilmul- Ma’na) science of meaning. DR Ahmad Azooz the author of the book (Usulun Turasiyyah fi Nazariyyatu Al- Huqulu Al- Ddilaliyyah) the Heritage bases in the theory of semantics fields The convergence of the meaning of words, with different words from each other, is a problematic linguistic phenomenon, and such case can only be solved by studying the words according to the theory of semantic fields, to identify the semantic features, and to detect the semantic relations between words, in this regard, The research Titled; The Semantic Fields Analytical Studies, For the Words of Enmity in the Poems of Eulogy by Poet (Uthsman Bin Ishak El- Toradi) had been carried out. The research Has Discussed A Brief History Of The Poet (Uthsman Bin Ishak El- Toradi), And Also The Paper Talked About The Semantic Analysis Theory In the Light Of Semantic Fields, Explaining Its Importance And Significance In Defining Words Sense And Meanings، Then The Paper Went On To Carry out the Analytical Operation For Words Of Enmity That Were Used In The Poems.

The superordination relation and the symmetry of verbal associations in selected parts of the mental lexicon The paper discusses the role of the superordination relation in the semantic organization of the mental lexicon. The method of three consecutive free association tests (reactions from the previous test are stimuli in the next one, so lists of stimuli are prepared for each respondent separately) was used to determine the role of different kinds of semantic relations in building some fragments of the lexicon. A detailed semantic analysis made in 1200 recurrent (symmetrical) and non-recurrent "chains" built with associations given by 50 secondary school students (Polish language users) revealed the relative importance of the superordination relation as a factor connecting elements of the mental lexicon: the hyponymy/hyperonymy relation occurs more regularly in various lexicon parts than other paradigmatic relations.

This article examined the roles of onomatopoeic and predicative words in the formation of a concretizing relations in the Tatar literary language. For many years, language onomatopoeic and predicative words in Tatar language had been studied as a part of the modal speech. Since the end of the 20th century, onomatopoeic words have been included into the list of notional parts of speech. Predicative words also stand between the notional and service parts of speech, that is, as a separate unit. In syntactic terms, both of these can be attributed to notional parts of speech, as they form word combinations. In this scientific work, the authors were first to study the concretizing relations between onomatopoeic words, verbs, and nouns and also between predicative words and nouns, pronouns, and verbs. The article also shed light on semantic nuances and means of communication.A concretizing link refers to an expression of a concretizing relation between words using special means of communication. The category of concretizing relations includes a rather wide range of semantic nuances between notions; therefore, the means of their expression are very diverse. The scientific novelty of this article was determined by the functional-semantic analysis of the concretizing relationship, wherein onomatopoeic and predicative words were either dependent or dominant components. The research method was determined by the goals and objectives of the work, as well as by the specificity of the material being studied. The main research method was descriptive-analytical, with its main components: observation, generalization, and interpretation. Comparative-historical method was also used for the purpose of comprehensive analysis of linguistic features of speech, allowing determining certain tendencies in the development of grammatical system of national literary language. The study also involved comparative-typological and statistical methods.

The focus of the study is the category of plurality of the noun in the Finnish language. The article studies plural forms of the noun in the Finnish language. The aim of the publication is to study the grammatical and semantic features of the plural forms in the Finnish language, to show the interrelation of different linguistic means related to vocabulary and morphology, using them to express the plurality, to reveal the features of the functioning of these means in the context of the utterance. The study was conducted on the material of artistic and journalistic literature in Finnish. The main research method is a synchronous analytical description using elements of the component, contextual, distributional methods, as well as the method of a functional semantic field. The method of analysis is presented by both an onomasiological approach, meaning «from functions to means», as well as semasiological approach meaning «from means to functions». The work systematizes categorical meanings transmitted by the plural forms. In the situation with quantification, the division of substances into continuous and discrete is significant. The dual category in modern Finnish is not fully represented. The grammatical forms of its manifestation are preserved in possessive affixes. The value of singularity / multiplicity, denoted by these affixes, is determined by the syntactic environment or by using the context. Analysis of the contexts of the use of the plural form allowed us to distinguish two types of characteristics – common and lingo-specific. The presented illustrative material clearly demonstrates the conditions for the implementation of these characteristics. The category of number in Finnish is related to the ideas of certainty-uncertainty.

Abstract Along with mastery of the grammar and vocabulary of a given language, contemporary students are also expected to acquire intercultural communicative competence (ICC), i.e., the ability to use the language efficiently with regard to the sociocultural background of the communicative situation. This requirement should also be reflected in FL course-books, which are considered to be fundamental didactic tools in FL education, even in an era of information communication technologies. Therefore, the aim of the present paper is to report the results of the research focused on the investigation of intercultural component in the New Opportunities Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate course-book packages. To validate the findings of the content analysis, as the main research method, the method of triangulation was used, i.e., the results of the course-book package analyses were compared with those of observation and interview analyses. The findings of the research revealed that in the investigated course-book packages only some aspects of the intercultural component could be considered relevant because they were suitably treated.

Introduction. The vocabulary of the plant world of the Khanty language contains a significant amount of information, closely connected with ethno-mentality, ethnography and thinking of the people. In this regard, the study of vegetation seems to be one of the most interesting layers of the vocabulary, since it reflects the degree of practical and cultural development of the surrounding nature. The purpose of the article is to establish the lexical and semantic features of the nominations of wild-growing herbs, the definition of dialectal features. The aim of the research is to identify the nominations of herbs with the greatest possible completeness, to establish the lexical meaning of each name in dialects of the language. The relevance of the topic is determined by the research interest to the study of differences between the dialects in the theoretical and practical terms; the attention recently been paid to folk spiritual and material culture; and the loss of certain plant names in the modern Khanty language. Materials and Methods. The study uses a set of methods and techniques for analyzing linguistic material: the method of semantic classification, lexical-semantic analysis, word-formation, linguistic-geographical analysis, as well as the elements of etymological analysis. The description is the main method for studying names of the plants. The source of the material is based on the vocabulary of the Khanty language, which was collected during field work; the source of Eastern dialects was the materials contained in lexicographic publications. When collecting the lexical material, the observation was conducted mainly on the speech of representatives of the older generation, as well as the people who have a traditional way of life, who retain the patterns of active spoken language. At the same time, not only facts that are in the active vocabulary of speakers were recorded, but also the words related to the passive vocabulary, which native speakers use only in conversations and sharing the memories of the past. Results and Discussion. The study of dialectal material based on the names of plants in the Khanty language is of great research interest. The life of the Khanty people since ancient times is closely connected with nature, the vocabulary of the plant world covers almost all spheres of economic activity of the Khanty, thereby making up a significant part of their vocabulary. In Khanty linguistics, this vocabulary has not yet been the subject of a special and detailed study, which makes it an urgent research task for today. The article identifies the signs that underlie the motivation of plant names and highlights the borrowed words. Conclusion. The collected vocabulary tells about the richness and vastness of phytonymic vocabulary of the Khanty language. The authors collected about 50 Khanty names of wild herbaceous plants in the Northern and Eastern dialects of the Khanty language. As a result of the research, new lexemes were identified and described, and the interpretation of the semantics of lexemes was clarified. Late borrowings of Russian origin are recorded. It was found that some dialect words are not actively used in the modern Khanty language. In flora vocabulary, the diversity and multiplicity of the nomination principles was revealed.

Abstract The aim of this study is to investigate how the city is influenced by the ritual of Muharram. The main research question is: what is the relationship between the city and the ritual of Muharram? To answer this question, we examined different intangible layers of this ritual heritage. This study is based on the three components of the sense of place. The research method is qualitative and a context-oriented approach is adopted. The context of the study is the historical texture of the city of Gorgan, Iran. The data were collected through library research and immediate observation. Next, content analysis and data coding were used to obtain a set of thematic categories. The results suggest that, as a kind of ritual-social behavior, the ritual of Muharram has had remarkable, enduring effects on the city over centuries. The non-urban-development dimension has thus allowed for the formation of sense of place in the relationship between people and the urban environment through a different process.
