Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women with a mortality rate of 6.8% (WHO, 2015; Globocan, 2012). The incidence of cervical cancer ranks second after breast cancer in Southeast Asia and Indonesia. Based on data from the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health 2015, cervical cancer is the cancer with the highest prevalence of 0.8 per 1000 population (Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia, 2015). The high prevalence of cancer in Indonesia requires prevention and early detection by health service providers. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the inspection of Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) in Padang City. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional design. The study was conducted at the Padang City Health Center in April-November 2019. The population was all women aged 30-50 years who were at the Padang City Health Center, amounting to 10,670 people, with a sample of 73 people taken by consecutive sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis.More than half (64.4%) of women of childbearing age (WUS) have never had an IVA examination, more than half (58.9%) of women have a risk age, less than half (39.7%) women have low levels of education , more than half (60.3%) WUS with working status, there was no relationship between the age of WUS with IVA examination (p value = 0.182), there was a relationship between WUS education level and IVA examination (p value = 0.031), there was no relationship between the status of WUS work and IVA examination (p value = 0.404). It is expected that officials and leaders of puskesmas will develop more attractive ways to be able to convince and increase awareness and concern of the WUS themselves in conducting IVA examinations.

The incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia is quite high at 25.91%. Cervical cancer can be detected early with VIA test. VIA test is one of the first steps to detect abnormalities in the cervix. VIA test is an easy check, cheap, and can be done by the midwife. However, the coverage of VIA test in Indonesia is still low about 2.45% of the target coverage determined by the government that is 80%. The low coverage of VIA test screening in Indonesia is influenced by the low knowledge of women. Women's low knowledge will influence their participation in screening. This research uses cross-sectional method approach. The sample in this study is Women of Childbearing Age aged 15-49 years in the working area of Puskesmas Soreang. Sampling uses proportional stratified random sampling technique with a sample size of 76 respondents. Data analysis uses Fisher Exact Test. The results show that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitude of WUS with p value = 0.000 (p > 0.005). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude of WUS on VIA test for early detection of cervical cancer.

Cancer is a non-communicable disease that has become a health problem in the world, including in Indonesia. The high mortality rate from cervical cancer globally can be reduced by early detection through IVA testing. The high number of cervical cancer sufferers in Indonesia is due to the low motivation of WUS to perform IVA examinations, based on WUS 'knowledge of IVA examinations. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and participation of women of childbearing age in IVA examinations in Pangebat Village. This type of research is an analytical survey research using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all women of fertile age (WUS) in Pangebat village as many as 851 people. The sample in this study as many as 90 people were taken by proportional random sampling technique. Univariate analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using Chi Square test. The results showed that knowledge of WUS about cervical cancer was mostly good as many as 48 people (53.3%) and most of them did not follow IVA examination as many as 56 people (62.2%). The results of bivariate analysis using the chi square test obtained p value = 0.010, which means that there is a relationship between knowledge and participation of WUS in the IVA examination. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge and the participation of women of childbearing age in IVA examinations in Pangebat Village.
