The COVID-19 pandemic has affected various aspects of life, one of which is education. Direct face-to-face contact needs to be reduced to prevent transmission of COVID-19, while educational institutions must continue to organize learning courses. This study identifies the effect of the blended learning model on learning outcomes of level II students in child-nursing courses during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a pre-experiment, one-group pre-test post-test, the sample was selected using the cluster random sampling method involving 105 students of level II of the Fatmawati Academy of Nursing. Data were analyzed using SPSS-24 software with the Wilcoxon test. The instrument used was a written test consisting of a pre-test and a post-test, a child-nursing procedure skills test. The results showed pre-test mean value is 74.74 and post-test mean value is 80,133. From these results, it can be concluded that there is the use of the blended learning model improved the learning outcomes of child nursing in Fatmawati Nursing Academy students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This can be seen from the average post-test result value, which is higher than the pre-test result value (p = 0.000).   Keywords: Blended learning, COVID-19, student learning outcomes, pandemic, learning

This study aims to determine whether through the application of the TGT cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of the Human Reproductive System, and also to determine the response of students to the application of cooperative learning learning models. The type of research conducted is PTK with a qualitative approach. Research data in the form of learning outcomes obtained in the study as much as 2 cycles. Data on student learning outcomes are collected from the pre-test and post-test scores given by researchers in each cycle. The results of the study showed that the application of the TGT cooperative learning model could improve the learning outcomes of students in class IX.A SMPN 1 Sakra. This can be seen in the percentage increase in learning outcomes in cycle II is greater than cycle I. The average post-test score of cycle I is 64, while the average post-test score of cycle II is 70. Percentage of increase in mastery learning in cycle I students amounting to 56% while the percentage increase in learning completeness of students in cycle II was 85%.

The purpose of this study was to explain the feasibility of learning using the team games tournament-based Ranking One Civic Education (ROCE) model in teaching and learning activities on Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) subjects and to analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes after the ROCE Game-based learning method was applied to PPKn subjects. This study used a classroom action research approach with qualitative and quantitative data as material for analysis. This study used two cycles with two meetings for each cycle. As for the process of implementing the ROCE Game, it was found that 13-14 indicators were carried out well in cycle I, while in the learning process in cycle II, an average of 15 indicators were obtained from a total of 17 indicators of learning implementation by teachers. In the first cycle, an average of 11 indicators was obtained and in the second cycle, an average of 12-13 indicators was obtained from a total of 14 indicators of learning implementation by students. The increase in learning outcomes taken based on the post-test score in cycle I was 77.7%, then an increase in the post-test score in cycle II became 86.1%. So, tournament-based teams games learning model Ranking One Civic Education could increase student learning outcomes.

The ability to solve problems is a skill that students need to have in dealing with various problems in life. This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning models; cognitive styles and interaction between both factors on science learning outcomes of students in class VII of MTs 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur in academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental research method by applying a 2 × 2 factorial design. The study sample consisted of an experimental class of 30 students and a control class of 29 students. Data collection was conducted using two types of instruments, namely the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) to measure students cognitive styles and students' learning outcomes test in essay forms. The Problem Based Learning model affect the learning outcomes, there is significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who have Cognitive field dependent (FD) style that is taught by the Problem Based Learning model and students who have Cognitive FD style that is taught by conventional learning models. The results show that the value of the experimental class post-test is higher than that of the control class. In short, the experimental class with the application of the Problem Based Learning model in the learning process provides higher learning outcomes than that of the conventional models.

Using experimental design method, the study compared two groups: (a)experimental, taught using the iPad, and (b) control group, taught using the traditional learning without iPad. A totalof 48 (24experimental group and 24 control group) eighth grade students in state of Kuwait participated in this study. The study started on the second semester on 2015-2016 on the average of 6 weeks. After the test on the study sampleand the statistical processing, the results revolved that: (1) there are no significant differences between theexperimental and the control group in mental performance in pre-test score. (2) There are no significant differencesbetween the experimental and the control group in skills performance in pre-test score. (3) There are significantdifferences between the experimental and the control group in mental performance in post-test score in favor ofexperimental group. (4) There are significant differences between the experimental and the control group in skillsperformance in post-test score in favor of experimental group. Based on the results, the study concluded withrelevant recommendations regarding the implementation of using iPad technology in education, and suggested somefurther studies in this topic.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) to the history of student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 7 Medan. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The study population was students of class X IPS with a sample of 65 students consisting of 34 students of class X IPS 2 as an experimental class and 31 students of class X IPS 1 as a control class. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. The observation results showed that 91% of the experimental class students who took part in learning with the TSTS model got very good average scores. The average post-test value of the experimental class was 80.3, while the average value of the post-test of the control class that followed the learning with the conventional model was 63.70. T-test results for the post-test scores were obtained tcount > ttable (7,004 > 1,670).These results indicate that the TSTS learning model has a great influence in improving the history of student learning outcomes in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Medan.
