The paper analyzes the process of transformation of the domestic educational sector under the influence of the latest computer and information technologies. Considered the features of instant access to the Internet and its databases, formats of presented information and the related modification of the user's attitude to traditional education in the classroom. It is emphasized that such easiness of obtaining knowledge can be accompanied by the formation in the person's consciousness of an irresponsible attitude to learning, responsibilities, time allocation, inability to analyze information, degeneration of originality, desire to think and personal development. In this regard, considered the main drawbacks of the Ukrainian educational sphere and also indicated that the profession of a teacher requires rethinking, because it seems that in the near future, the teacher's task will not be to transfer knowledge, but to instill skills to correct processing of information.

This is a crossroads time for dictionaries in print in general and for bilingual dictionaries of Economics in printin particular. A time when the prevalence of information technologies supposedly makes access to specializedlexicographical information easier and faster. The present study first reviews briefly the current situation of bilingual dictionaries of Economics on paper and their viability in a near future. It then examines, with more detail, the specific lexicographical issue of incorporating (i.e. translating) English financial neonyms, which appear practically everyday in print and internet media, into English-Spanish/Spanish-English Dictionaries of Economics on paper, normally published in the lapse of years. This gap between the immediacy of the Internet and the delay of printing, seems to cause serious problems to bilingual lexicographers specialized in Economics especially when questionable translations of such neonyms are already circulating on the web. This, in addition to the ample presence of electronic glossaries and dictionaries, easily accessible by translators and professionals, but whose reliability, on the other hand, is not always guaranteed. Finally, a more active role is recommended to bilingual lexicographers in Economics by taking advantage of internet information media services and by joining efforts with finance experts and professionals.

Theory, history (several decades long), and the current status of the studies in cyberpsychology in the USSR and later in Russia are presented in a condensed form. Socio-historic theory of psychic development, introduced by Vygotsky in 1930s, and particularly ideas of semiotic mediation, seem to offer the best perspectives in cyberpsychological studies. A brief historic overview in this article combines general conclusions and personal memories. Directions of the current studies are briefly described as well. This section starts with studies made within the new communities which emerged with the advance of information technologies; special attention is given to hackers and gamers. The section proceeds with the studies of children’s behavior on the Internet. Finally, research in the field of Internet Addiction Disorder is discussed. The current status of cyberpsychology as a non-universally accepted discipline, in which new generations of specialists are deeply interested, is discussed. Methodological work is presented as the major source of progress in the near future. The reference section includes publications in English and several recommended books which are available exclusively in Russian.

The article proposes a model for forecasting the success of student’s learning. The model is a Markov process with continuous time, such as the process of “death and reproduction”. As the parameters of the process, the intensities of the processes of obtaining and assimilating information are offered, and the intensity of the process of assimilating information takes into account the attitude of the student to the subject being studied. As a result of applying the model, it is possible for each student to determine the probability of a given formation of ownership of the material being studied in the near future. Thus, in the presence of an automated information system of the university, the implementation of the model is an element of the decision support system by all participants in the educational process. The examples given in the article are the results of an experiment conducted at the Institute of Space and Information Technologies of Siberian Federal University under conditions of blended learning, that is, under conditions when classroom work is accompanied by independent work with electronic resources.

In the information society the status of information is changing: this main value of global civilization becomes an important resource of socio- economic, technological and cultural development. The rapid development of virtual technologies and the growing number of Internet users in Ukraine and in the world causes the new challenges to communication of each organization. The book publishers are also obliged to respond to these processes. However, the works devoted directly to publishers’ communication in the modern media space are still lacking in Ukraine. The objective of the article is to clarify peculiarities and conditions of the activities of Ukrainian book publishers in today’s media space which is an important issue today. It is analyzed the literature and sources on this issue and it is ascertained the theoretical and practical possibilities to take into account the trends in the world of modern media in the PR-activity of book publishers. Also the prospects for further scientific study and practical use of PR-communications in the activity of publishers are determined. The analysis of current changes in the modern information space allows us to trace the general tendencies: the new subject and object areas are formed; the number of subjects is expanded; the new formats of interaction within the system of communications of the organization and in society as a whole are created. That means that publishing house’s PR-communications are complicated by the emergence of new elements, such as active audience, social networks as communication channels, promotions on the Internet and others. PR communication in the Internet space is the most effective and inexpensive tool for interaction of publishers with active audiences. Thus, the activation of PR communication in the modern media space is associated with the emergence of the latest information technologies, online media as well as development of Internet. The use of online channels of Internet for communication with the target audience of publishing organizations has certain advantages over traditional media. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the information saturation of media space, which complicates the way of PR-messages of book publishers to the reader.

The paper considers computer piracy as a global problem. One of the significant phenomena that gave way to piracy was the development of information technologies. If earlier the result of piracy could be observed only in printed publications, now it is gaining momentum in information networks, namely the Internet.
